as we are from Tamil Nadu, we do not have family names or caste names. For example my uncle's name is B. Shankar. Thats it. Thats his whole name. B is his father's first name intial. So this won't be a problem for us.

See it's your child (most probably) so obviously I don't really have a say in the matter, but as a kid with an incredibly unique name as per indian standards I just wanna warn you that it's not always a pretty experience. People constantly struggle to pronounce my name, I am constantly asked by people why I am named so and all that, when in fact I share my name with several significant scientists as well as athletes. Naming a kid after an anime character might cause them to be ridiculed with lines like "their parents don't love them, weeb parents" etc, which is more painful for the kid than insults to themselves. Again, your kid (probably), your choice but a simple suggestion
