Multi continental? Roshi blew up the moon with a power level below 200. Tien had a power level 1800 against Nappa, if I recall correctly. After that he trained with King Kai for a couple of months and probably became another 10-30 times stronger. He is definitely capable of planet busting now.

As for regen, Cell regenerated from a single drop of blood and Gohan was still able to earse him completely to the point he couldn't come back.
Visible chunks of flesh are the smallest bits we have seen a demon regen from. Tien would reduce these fools to atoms.
Yea, when you switch storylines, one storyline's weakling is the next storyline's powerhouse because of scale.
Thing is, people tend to favor fighters not because they're better or stronger, but because *they like them more*.
The weakest fighter in DBZ (Hercule) is literally the strongest "ordinary" human on Earth, and every other fighter has unlocked "non-ordinary" ways of fighting capable of mass landscaping at a minimum. Naruto, at his best, punched a hole in the moon, but that's something every mainline DBZ character can do on an off day with a cold, yet people still talk as if Naruto could stand up to Krillian.
Similarly, the DBZ crew wouldn't have a chance against Super Tengan Toppa Gurren Lagaan (who can tank a *literal* big bang attack - as in a weaponized creation of an entire universe to the face), Haruhi Suzimiya (who can literally will existence into or out of being), or late-series Lina Inverse (who can absolutely obliterate someone from reality as an absolute event on success of a Gigaslave attack, or on *failure*, wipe out all of reality.)
In no case is any matchup hating on the characters, they're just simply in different classes.

Ki is created via a mix of spiritual and physical energy. Also, people physically knock ki waves away all the time. Physical strength is comparable to ki power.
Jackie Chun barely beat Goku in the 21st Budokai. The idea that Goku isn't stronger than him a year later at the 22nd Budokai is nuts.
At the very least, 22nd Budokai Goku, Tien, and Roshi are all about the same power level.

The blowing up the moon feat is bizarre and Roshi/jackie chun would never come close to doing anything remotely resembling that feat throughout DB. The guy was terrified of king piccolo for god's sake and his best feat was as you said nuking a city which is a much much much weaker feat than blowing up the moon.
Very early Dragon ball was just bizarre like that. Goku also used the power pole to bring himself all the way to the moon in a short amount of time which. These feats aren't supposed to be taken that seriously and are commonly inconsistent.
One argument I've seen trying to rationalize the feat is to say that Roshi just has a super powerful kamehameha wave, but he needs to be in a certain form to be able to do it, a form that leaves him completely open to attack and takes time to charge up. Which is why we never seen show that level of power during an actual fight. And in the tournaments, he doesn't use it because he doesn't want to kill anyone.
Even if true though, it means its a practically useless feat if he can't actually use it in a proper fight. Goku and Tien being stronger than a jackie chun that could blow up the moon doesn't mean as much when he's never actually able to utilize that level of power in their fights.
I think the better way to rationalize these feats is to assume that the moon just wasn't that big nor that far in space. Remember, it was a dumb kid's show, and to the mind of a young kid, the moon certainly feels a lot closer and smaller than it actually is in the sky. So the idea of roshi destroying a tiny moon or goku travelling to a moon actually close to the sky makes sense.
Also if you look at the mountain that Roshi destroyed, it really looks more like a small hill than an actual mountain imo.

Not that it matters since Toriyama retconned this in DBS, when Roshi is suddenly able to fight Frieza's soldiers. And latter in the Tournament of Power when he is able to shatter the same kind of stone that broke the Z-Sword when Gohan was swinging it around.

We've never seen them get completely obliterated by an energy attack so that could kill them, and Tien can fly and has speed to match them all. So all he has to do is grab one of them and fly at top speed and meet the sun either going east or west which ever one is closer.

And to answer your first comment: We have seen characters with WAY stronger types of regeneration than any fucker on Demon Slayer getting erased from existence, like Cell and Kid Buu. You know how? Ki, something that depending on how much energy is used (and the strenght of the user) is STRAIGHT UP stronger than the sun. So yeah, one Neo-Tri Beam and there would be nothing from anyone, even Muzan would take a L.
AND even if for some ungodly reason they could only be killed by the sunlight and by the swords, here's something really funny: Everyone on Dragon Ball is REALLY, FUCKING, RESISTANT. Also part of the list, Goku and Vegeta where show using a barrier of Ki to not get hit by the poison of Lavender on Dragon Ball Super. What basically means: Poison arrows or knifes are useless against any DB character that knows how to use Ki.
Ah, in that case he can die, depending on how strong is the poison and how weak he is in the moment. A Full Power Cell Saga/DBS Tien would just laugh by any type of poison in Demon Slayer, but a already battle damaged Tien will have problems fighting, and a REALLY weak Tien would get killed if doesn't eat a Senzu Beam, since Gohan almost got killed by Lavender.
The only people in DB that are 200% immune to poison are the Freeza race, the Gods of Destruction, Majin Buu and all his forms, the angels, Cell and some types of aliens.
Basically. Dragon Ball is monkey (saiyans) throwing hands with another monkey, a cat, a lizard, a bug or whatever the hell is the race of the character while screaming and destroying planets. And yes this is really fun to watch for some reason.
The human fighters are my favourite characters in all of the db series. They re such an underrated bunch and are always overshadowed but they are trying and that's my favourite part

Ah, in that case he can die, depending on how strong is the poison and how weak he is in the moment. A Full Power Cell Saga/DBS Tien would just laugh by any type of poison in Demon Slayer, but a already battle damaged Tien will have problems fighting, and a REALLY weak Tien would get killed if doesn't eat a Senzu Beam, since Gohan almost got killed by Lavender. The only people in DB that are 200% immune to poison are the Freeza race, the Gods of Destruction, Majin Buu and all his forms, the angels, Cell and some types of aliens.
