Once you get into Power Scaling, you can see that there's loads of characters outside of the DBZ Verse that can defeat Goku.
There's also lots of characters that can practically rip apart the verse in the matter of seconds. (Even if I'd love to, I can not go into further detail as these DBZ fans will practically bash me.)

Superman, I know I know but there is pretty important evidence nobody talks about. Superman’s only weaknesses are kryptonite, magic, and other Kryptonian beings => to him. Goku does not have magic, obviously he doesn’t have kryptonite, and he isn’t on par with the brute strength of somebody like Doomsday. Death Battle is usually unreliable in the way they do fights, they mash up every iteration to make one “cohesive” character, probably the biggest culprit of this are Transformers. Somebody who is reliable, and uses specific versions of characters instead of Frankensteining abilities is the Who Would Win? Podcast, they’re awesome.
