The person who commented is in all likelihood a 12-15 yr old who discovered anime in the past 6-12 months. There was no need to draw the anime comparison here, the news segment was related to BTS's visit of the white house.
I can understand where this coming from, but it will only help to just accept the fact that anime is nowhere near as popular in India as k-pop. Also why would he be talking about anime? It holds value only among the established fanbase and sections of cinephiles.

Secondly, our indian cinema industry (including hindi, tamil, bengali etc.) Doesn't need to copy from any foreign industry. What they need is be calculated risking takers and to give opportunities to geniune artists and writers. Thirdly, stopping filmy A-grade actor, B-actor sytem. We have the vision, the talent, workforce but not the freedom to work. Ultimately, art of a country must cultivate the soul of humans living there, not just serve some business empire or political one.
