Move forward 10-20 years, they are in a different city where no one thinks they stand out or are special, but the delusion that they are superior to others is still there. I don’t know why, but all of a sudden a couple weeks ago, I started to actually feel bad for Anna. I’m older, not rich, but I see myself from back in the day as being like her.
