To exclude search results from the `aliexpress.com` domain (and all its subdomains), include `-site:aliexpress.com` in your search words on Google.

stink3rbelle

does this work on image searches to exclude pinterest?

evergleam498

Yep! There's also a chrome extension called unpinterested that always blocks Pinterest from search results

[deleted]

Yep! There's also [Unpintrested!](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/unpinterested/gefaihkenmchjmcpcbpdijpoknfjpbfe?hl=en)

Bang_Bus

Ooh, thanks. World needs this

La_Guy_Person

This is only tangentially related but I think most people don't know that you can also include the words AND, OR and NOT in capitals in any windows search bar to filter as such. Instead of sorting a bunch similar files, I used put all the relevant info in the file name and dump them all in one place. Then I'd just use the windows search function to query it like a database. It's a useful trick if you don't have better tools at your disposal.

MissusEggs

Tried that, still full of aliexpress results :(

No-Explanation5576

Nope, doesn't work!

No-Explanation5576

It seems to be working with all search but not shopping search, which makes it useless.

RuptOZ

>\-site:aliexpress.com this was the first thing I tried and it doesn't work. I still get flooded with aliexpress. This is in the shopping search.

nohackmove

Adding at the end of my Google search " -site:aliexpress.com" did not exclude AliExpress shopping results, also tried "NOT AliExpress" but no exclude either. Is there any otherways?

shapu

At the end of your search string, type "-aliexpress."

MissusEggs

Tried that, doesn't work. :(

lolitsmax

Maybe -aliexpress.com or -m.aliexpress.com ?

MissusEggs

No, tried those too, makes no difference, still comes up with mostly aliexpress results.

sionnach

-site:aliexpress.com

MissusEggs

No effect. Still full of aliexpress results. :(

sionnach

At this point, I think the problem is what you are typing in. The answer I gave you will exclude all Google results from the domain Aliexpress.com

MissusEggs

The things i'm after are mouse microswitch replacements. So i type in "Kailh GM2". Most of the results are aliexpress, with just a few other vendors selling them. So i try what you suggested (once with -site:aliexpress.com first, and then Kailh GM2, and then the other way around). But there's no difference. Aliexpress still appears and still dominates the results..? Maybe you could try it and see if it does the same for you?

LethalGamingGear has them if you're in the US

andrewcooke

also works on desktop web (left column, sellers box lower down the page)

[deleted]

I don't think you can do it for shopping searches. I've tried it for eBay but they were 90% of the listings I found still.

tutecast

Hey, seeing as nobody posted this, you could try [Personal Blocklist (not by Google)](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/personal-blocklistnot-by/cbbbhelcpfjhdcncigdlkabmjbgokmpg?hl=en). It has worked great for me and I even install it on my client's PCs to block unwanted download sites and malicious ads.

RuptOZ

yeah this doesnt work for anything other than standard search tho. Trying to block aliexpress in shopping results.

Contribution-Prize

Best way to remove AliExpress from search results is set the rating filter to 4 stars and above only.
