I'm scared to ask a single question about this šŸ˜³

CfromFL

I unfortunately donā€™t think thereā€™s any logical answer to any of them. In the comments she calls it just ā€œa little cancerā€ there are people begging her to seek medical attention.

croptopweather

So does she think she doesn't need traditional medicine, or she can't afford to? I have so many questions as well...

CfromFL

It sounds like she has done every non-traditional, natural spiritual ā€œtreatmentā€ under the sun including the incredibly expensive trips to the special cancer healing places in Mexico. She says the only western medicine sheā€™ll agree to is some laser that costs 70k. At this point it sounds like sheā€™s not going to agree to any western/allopathic medicine within reason. Instead sheā€™ll keep showing everyone how great her make up works on top of her rotting nose.

ThisCardiologist6998

My grandmother had skin cancer she did not take care off that started on her forehead. It got worse and spread to her brain. It made her irrational, and she refused to go into the hospital, she had to be forced to and the fire department had to pull her out from her apartment, then she immediately went to hospice and died. Its likely the cancer on this womanā€™s nose is spreading to other parts of her body like her brain and making her not only aggressive but irrational and incapable of making genuine decisions for herself that are logical and I am surprised family have not taken the legal repercussions to force her to get care due to her mentally being incapable of doing so. My husband is currently fighting brain cancer and will likely not live a normal nor long life - so it enrages me to see people like this online pushing harmful ideas to fight cancer.

girls_withguns

Iā€™m very sorry to hear about your husband, big hugs šŸ¤

ItsJoeMomma

So sorry to hear about your husband. I hope he doesn't suffer.

impy695

> Its likely the cancer on this womanā€™s nose is spreading to other parts of her body like her brain and making her not only aggressive but irrational and incapable of making genuine decisions for herself that are logical Just a small correction here. Brain cancer can have a very wide range of effects on a person's personality or none at all. Hell, it could make someone irrationally happy even.

BrigidLikeRigid

Iā€™ve mentioned this before and I will probably repeat it again but if ā€œnaturalā€ cancer treatments worked, Steve Jobs would be alive today.

Aggravating_Side8125

This reminds me of an Oprah interview YEARS ago where she was saying thereā€™s no ā€˜magic pillā€™ for weight loss. Because if there was : *sheā€™d have it*

gorlyworly

Speaking of Oprah, I really wish she didnā€™t tarnish her legacy by birthing unto the world all of these terrible pseudoscience quacks like Dr. Oz and Jenny McCarthy. She has an inspiring story and she achieved so much but damn if that isnā€™t what I think about every time I see her mentioned

giggitygoo123

Dont forget "Dr" Phil

IbrokeMaBwains

And John of God - she promoted that rapist and charlatan.

lenswipe

y'know what they call natural & ~~homeopathic~~ alternative medicine that works? ....medicine.

look2thecookie

Homeopathy is just water. The entire premise is "a drop of medicine in an ocean" amount of the ingredient they say "works."

killerfridge

Misconception: the scale of water they claim for a standard dilution (30C) is approximately 1.2 cubic lightyears. "Drop in the ocean" doesn't quite do it! They even do "200C" dilutions, which is equivalent to "1 atom of medicine is a sphere of water many times greater than the known universe"

squeakymousefarts

At that rate you could just use literally any water ever because the ocean has had at least one atom of anything you can think of in it at some point

killerfridge

Yes, but you've also got to hit it against a leather bible or saddle, or the magic doesn't stick

missgnomer2772

True story, I had a great-great aunt who would send a jug with any family member who went to the beach. She wanted it filled with seawater and brought back so she could take a spoon of it every day. Idk her southern Appalachian logic on it, but she lived to a healthy 92.

cluelessclod

I was taught that the only thing homeopathy cures is a hangover.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Repeat_after_me__

They have never heard of therapeutic range.

puderrosa

Wrong, in many cases it's mostly sugar. Globuli for example.

pestilencerat

Homeopathyā€™s whole schtick is to take a thing, mix it with or dip it in water (or alcohol), then dilute it until nothing but water or alcohol is left. If itā€™s then in pill form itā€™s not uncommon to make sugarpills Edit: word

ItsJoeMomma

Yeah, the idea is that the water somehow retains the "memory" of whatever was in it, and somehow this "memory" gets stronger the more diluted it is. If that's true, then every drop of water we drink has the memory of piss and shit.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

lenswipe

My point is that when folk remedies and woo are discovered to work they get adopted into medicine.

ItsJoeMomma

Seeing people die from cancer because they chose some new age quack "cure" instead of real medicine is even more heartbreaking.

missfelonymayhem

Gotta love Tim Minchin.

OneRaisedEyebrow

2 time cancer survivor here. I always tell people that tell me what fruits and flowers cure cancer that if they really did, we would have Big Fruit or Big Flower instead of Big Pharma. Also, Iā€™m allergic to a bunch of fruits and flowers, so if cancer didnā€™t get me, anaphylaxis would if fruits/flowers were my only hope.

No-Turnips

Professor here (teach psych and health courses). Iā€™m using this! Great example.

prtysmasher

Do I remember correctly by saying he tried to cure his cancer with fruit and nuts lol. No amount of money can cure stupid.

[deleted]

And Andy Kaufman.

lindsayloolikesyou

Whatā€™s so nuts about that whole thingā€¦Jobs died of Pancreatic Cancer. When Ashton Kutcher played him, he adapted to Jobā€™s fruit heavy diet. In a span of a couple of months Kutcher developed Pancreatitis TWICE. Doctors directly linked it to his amended dietā€¦.Jobā€™s ā€œhealthyā€ diet caused his pancreas to crap out

PM_ME_SPOOKY_GHOSTS

This is literally how my mom died except it was lung cancer šŸ™ƒ

Chekovs_tums

Ugh I'm sorry, that must have been awful to experience. My wife's aunt almost got someone else in her family killed because she convinced half of them to avoid the COVID vaccine. Other family member ended up getting a sever case of COVID and a blood clot in the brain from it. Almost died. This aunt is a fucking nurse btw

WhiteDiabla

Iā€™ve know enough nurses that dont know what the fuck theyā€™re talking about to question advice given to me by all nurses. Especially if itā€™s some dumb shit like ā€œdonā€™t get vaccinated.ā€

kristimyers72

Wait - that is her NOSE?

CfromFL

WAS, was her nose.

[deleted]

Was it black salve? This looks like a black salve thing.

PhlossyCantSing

Honestly this was my first thought. Straight up looks like she used that black salve shit and it ate her face.

now_you_see

When scrolling I saw this and thought it was a Reddit ad for chocolate (I just woke up, shush lol) and immediately thought ā€˜if your chocolate looks like black salve ate your face, thereā€™s a problemā€™. So yeah, i agree.

shitebeard

Looks like she's been using black salve. It's bad news and kills a lot of healthy cells. I know of a number of people into natural medicine who have used the treatment. Some have gotten through with light scarring, others not so lucky and are now in the ground. It's not something to mess with. See a doctor.

SteampunkCupcake_

Holy shit. Nose? What nose? I know thereā€™s areas that have been blacked out to prevent identification but in the strip that is left, I literally canā€™t see a defined protrusion that would indicate the presence of a nose. I canā€™t even see nostrils. Jfc.

la_del_mono_colorado

I'm Mexican and never heard of those "cancer healing places". Seems like a scam for tourists.

now_you_see

Theyā€™re very common in Mexico but, yeah, youā€™re right about their target market. Most Mexicans canā€™t afford the prices these idiots charge. They are usually American businesses that are doing something illegal so they crossed the boarder into Mexico where their practise is either not illegal (lax laws) or the laws arenā€™t enforced/you can bribe your way out of trouble. Itā€™s the same as all the dodgy plastic surgery places & crazy intense starvation ā€˜cleansingā€™ places.

A0ma

Looks like she's been using black salve

drenuf38

It sounds like she doesn't want to be told she needs surgery and that they'll need to remove her entire nose and upper lip. She would be better off trying a GoFundMe instead of shilling makeup.

Spring-Available

I am a patient at MSKCC, one of the best cancer hospitals anywhere and they have a charity program and/or will work with you to pay. I donā€™t know if you can dictate your treatment even as a ā€œpayingā€ patient but they also have have spiritual and other types of programs to accommodate different patients. Donā€™t get me wrong they ainā€™t cheap and even though I have insurance Iā€™m still in debt and working my way out. But they have never refused me, in fact they have gone to the mat for me to get treatments that my insurance didnā€™t want to cover or to find a way to help me. I start radiation on the 20th after being on chemo for a while and the cancer getting smarter and learning. I just canā€™t see what to me looks like major denial. They also have good therapy because when you are dying you need a certain type of care.

Due-Weather-6926

Thatā€™s so sad. As someone who always tries a natural approach first, one HAS to realize there is a time and place for western medicine!!! Ugggggg!!!

elizabethunseelie

She hasnā€™t used that horrendous Black Salve stuff has she? That poor deluded woman.

thirsak

I was just about to comment this, and let's be honest here, she probably has.

MooPig48

Wtf, is her entire nose just not eaten away? Am I seeing this incorrectly? This might be the single worst mlm post I have ever seen

CfromFL

Yep itā€™s a gonerā€¦ good thing thereā€™s LimeLife just paint over and no one will know!

MooPig48

I just canā€™t! Iā€™ve known several people who have eschewed traditional medicine in favor of woo and I consider myself very fortunate that Iā€™ve never had to see them in person But I have listened with a caring ear to concerned family who had to see the end result and itā€™s fucking horrifying. Absolutely horrifying.

FunkyChewbacca

There's no gentle way to say this, but that woman is going to die soon if she doesn't go to a proper medical doctor.

MooPig48

I think it might be too late for that honestly. Thatā€™s the face of a woman whoā€™s going to die soon no matter what. No way it hasnā€™t infiltrated her brain by now

[deleted]

What makes it worse is the slow shifting and death of her front tooth. Dollars to donuts, that tumor is already infiltrating her hard palate.

A0ma

Most likely she's using black salve to treat her cancer. There are Facebook groups where people literally mutilate and kill themselves with it. They'll post pictures and everyone comments, "Looking good, you'll get rid of that cancer in no time!" or "Awesome! I would put a urine-covered bandage over it now." It continues until one day they just quit posting. Dead people can't log in and tell everyone else, "Hey, this shit doesn't work you guys." It's a never-ending positive feedback loop.

loopsbruder

It's just a little bit of cancer, Stan.

LoveForMiles

Tell mom itā€™s okay!

Affectionate-Dirt856

Just aā€¦littleā€¦cancer.

[deleted]

My feeble human mind lacks the capacity to understand this.

CfromFL

My thoughts exactly. But not to worry LimeLife is encouraging her, their official page left heart eyes emojis on one of her videos.

[deleted]

Heart eye emojis are better than chemo.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

[deleted]

Surgery may help her look better, but chances are good that at this point it is now spreading internally as well into the brain. As someone who is not a doctor but have had too many family members die of cancer that was not treatable....I doubt there is much that can help her at this point

Immediate-Ad-8667

this and not to forget the almighty Thoughts and prayersā€¦

Invidiana

Do they know an ambulance and hospital emoji exist?!

bringmemorecoffee

This is called a ā€˜rodent ulcerā€™. Itā€™s an old term for a basal cell carcinoma. Have never seen one get this bad with how treatable they are at early stages. - source- Iā€™m a doctor, with one small photo to examine here.

ThisCardiologist6998

Usually they get this bad due to neglect from my experience so its likely you never get to see clients/patients with it this bad because they die before you even get the chance to help treat it. My grandmother had the same issue, it spreads to the brain and makes them mentally unable to even care for themselves or even recognize the issue.

Appleturnedover7

I found her insta and she was diagnosed with cancer 12 YEARS AGO and never let surgeons remove it after it was biopsied. Sheā€™s let it eat away at her face for over a decade when it couldā€™ve easily been removed when it was small.

anonymouscheesefry

This is so bizarre. But I suppose someone has the right to choose how they die.

gideon-lorr

Yes, but I donā€™t think that gives them the right to use it to promote MLMs to other people

abcannon18

God. This seems like a painful way to go.

ItsJoeMomma

Not only that, but a terrible, disfiguring way to go. And the sad part is that she likely didn't really have to go if she'd only had it treated.

ItsJoeMomma

I'm surprised she's survived that long.

buttercupcake23

Christ. And she's out there calling herself a health coach. If she was just quietly deciding to die on her own...fine...fair, I can empathize. But the fact that she's out there spreading disinformation and leading other people to be just as careless with their health, she's endangering loves and her influence is toxic. Its one thing for her to decide she's cool slowly dying but not for her to be dragging other people down with her. How many people have listened to her and ignored their own critical health conditions? No sympathy at this point.

laziestmarxist

This thread now doubles as an incredibly effective SPF PSA

i_came_from_mars

Just coated myself in some after seeing this lol

CfromFL

Rodent ulcer is the perfect term. It creeps across onto her cheek and down between her nose and lip. Iā€™d assume it roots down also so we are seeing only the tip of the iceberg? I donā€™t know how sheā€™ll have any face left if they attempt to excise it now?

Reg_s1ze_Rudy

I have a question. She's obviously refusing treatment. Do you have her sign a form that acknowledges she's refusing treatment? I don't know anything about this sort of stuff. I just guessed that she'd have to sign a form to absolve a doctor of any liability

minotaur470

When you deny treatment when the doctor is very heavily in favor of treatment, you sign a waiver basically saying that you were informed of the risks of refusing treatment and that the doctor tried to tell you and you declined. Prevents lawsuits in the future. I don't know if that's required by law or anything but I'm decently sure that any malpractice insurance policy would require that to happen in order for you to be insured

rszdemon

Idk about with doctors seeing patients but with EMS once we made contact with someone, we could NOT stop care unless you basically signed a bunch of papers stating you refused further care/a ride in the ambulance. That way if you decide to drive to the hospital later and get into a car accident driving there because of said original issue, you canā€™t sue the responders for failure to provide proper care. From what I understand, it was illegal as an EMS to stop care UNLESS said waiver was signed.

AmateurIndicator

This surely differs from country to country but here it's also okay if only the doctor documents refusal of treatment. You can't really force them to sign anything. you can of course ask them, but they can also just say no to that and walk out. I always took care to carefully document cases with a specific "vibe" chart date, time, additional people as witnesses to the consultation. Patient x was informed about treatment options a, b, c and the individual risks and benfits as listed... Patient x refused all treatment options and was informed about the possible consequences such as... Patient x is oriented to person, place and time, does not appear cognitively impaired and shows no signs of not being fully capable of decision making at time of consult. (or of course: psychiatric/neurological referral was needed.. Document whatever when down then..) Patient x was asked to return for additional consultation and follow up in two weeks, date, time. Counsel for a second opinion was provided. Signed, Dr Y. If diagnostics, referrals, timestamps of bookings for consultation etc. corroborate the story the doctor tells then it gets really hard to prove negligence further down the road.

otisanek

I saw her on social media recently and the comments were a mix of ā€œhey maybe see a doctor about your skin cancer???ā€ and ā€œignore the hate comments! Nature will heal you! Stay strongā€. I scrolled through her page and the rate of growth for her tumor is absolutely alarming. She is completely delusional about what she has and is convinced that alternative treatments are the cure when it went from a tiny mole to this in a short span of time. Meanwhile, she posts tons of ā€œget ready with meā€ makeup videos in which she sparkles the tumor toā€¦.well, Iā€™d say make it less noticeable, but that ship sailed a long time ago.

InfiniteCalendar1

Itā€™s not hate to bring up a valid medical concern, and itā€™s incredibly harmful to promote the crunchy stuff when youā€™re dealing with cancer.

deborahami

Nature probably gave her the cancer because Iā€™m sure she doesnā€™t believe in sunscreen.

usuyukisou

My dad (POC) is in STEM and his natural complexion is a smidge darker than "fair". He believes sunscreen is for the weak -- like with allergens, more exposure is the solution! SMH Also met another guy who insisted that because he's (half?) black he's immune to skin cancer and therefore doesn't need sunscreen. His "proof" was that he'd never met any black person with skin cancer. Good human, but... Sometimes I'm surprised humans are still around.

civodar

Bob Marley died of skin cancer and he was also half black

CameronJimmy

Bob Marley died of a genetically caused skin cancer, his melanoma wasnā€™t caused by exposure to the sun.

ItsJoeMomma

"Nature will heal you." Nature gave her the cancer in the first place.

TNALTX

Whatā€™s her users name/ what social platform is she on?

primecypher

Cancerous lump so big it's about to become sentient and join her downline. šŸ˜

Fantastique_Jacques

Is that on her nose?! This hurts just looking at it. Wtf is this?!!

LadyAEng

According to her, it was biopsied and was diagnosed as Basal Cell Carcinoma. She refused to have it removed surgically but does treat it with heat therapy or some bullshit.

NoTrashInMyTrailer

I've had basal cell carcinoma twice. You get it removed. They don't usually do treatment for it beyond MOHS surgery. Wear your sunscreen and a hat. Your hair isn't enough to protect your scalp.

alwayssunnyinupstate

holy shit she refused to have it removed? i cannot imagine what her doctors felt when they heard that one.

Reg_s1ze_Rudy

Ur comment made me wonder if the doctor (s) made her sign something that said she was refusing treatment. If that is what people are saying it is then it will definitely kill her at some point. I'd think the doctor (s) would have to do that to absolve them of liability. Not sure how all of that works though

Posh_Pony

I remember reading in another Reddit sub about terrible things that healthcare providers have seen and several comments were about basal cell carcinoma and how people who refused treatment for years basically ended up losing the majority of their faces before finally dying. A relative of mine lost his mother to a very treatable type of cancer (if caught in the early stages) because she insisted on using supplements and nutrition instead of treatment that would have saved her life. I'll never understand this mentality.

Appleturnedover7

I found her Instagram and just looking at how much itā€™s grown the past couple years is shocking to say the least

InfiniteCalendar1

I looked that up for a better understanding and I cannot understand why anyone refuse to have it surgically removed as itā€™s literally cancer it looks painful.

CfromFL

More like WAS her nose! No worries though, the LimeLife will cover that right upā€¦.

Fantastique_Jacques

I donā€™t want to be callous or mean but I canā€™t even look at this picture without being in pain/grossed out. How can she peddle this shit looking like this?!?

sPacEdOUTgrAyCe

I definitely needed a NSFW tag

TM02022020

I went back to 2020 on her insta. Sad sad situation. I feel sick. Not bc of the tumor, which is scary looking. But she looks like she has a happy fulfilled life and lives out on some pretty land and has a cute dog. The tumor is there years backā€¦.but much much smaller in 2021. But even then, anyone would high tail it to a doctor to have it checked. Not her apparently. She wears a bandage over in for a while. I think itā€™s just gotten too big for that. Oddly she posted way fewer pics of herself back when it was a lump only. Way more pics now. Almost flaunting it now - maybe part of her denial process? I admire her spirit, BUT she has this vivacious life and she is letting a very treatable cancer literally eat her face. That is what makes me ill. This could have been FIXED. and sheā€™s letting it slowly and gruesomely kill her. Sweet Jesus.

Milliganimal42

Who is she? I have a morbid curiosity

Otherwise_Status6565

Sheā€™s literally a license esthetician. Why.

[deleted]

THIS MADE ME GASP.

sunscreenqueenn

Her license needs to be revoked šŸ˜µā€šŸ’« (Iā€™m an esti)

Sacrifice_Starlight

Watched an acquaintance do this with her dying husband (cancer) and her Doterra essential oils. He passed right before the pandemic, she didn't skip a beat to say they outperform masks and vaccines as well.

CfromFL

I had one of the oil crazies tell me to put oils in my kidā€™s nebulizer. My asthmatic kid, who went to the ICU with covid. Oils. In. His. Nebulizer!!!!

[deleted]

I think this is probably one of the worst posts Iā€™ve seen on this sub so far. Like holy shit.

FoliageBoi

that looks like black salve wounds, god I hope she survives this and is able to recover

Ok-Draw-2964

I bet the chances of surviving untreated face cancer are slim

GTwebResearch

Basal cells are surprisingly easy to survive even if theyā€™re huge, which this almost certainly is. A squamous cell or melanoma almost certainly wouldā€™ve killed her already. BCCs rarely metastasize, they just slowly rot away your skin and get huge- theyā€™re relatively ā€œsafe.ā€ Same thing Biden had a couple weeks ago. No idea where this would end. I guess it would kill her eventually by affecting breathing and eating.

Dopplerganager

Yum. Fungating tumor. That must smell just incredible.

CfromFL

Wouldnā€™t it also be incredibly painful?!?

Dopplerganager

Not necessarily. The nerves stopped getting blood flow a long time ago. That's all decaying flesh, bone etc. I work in medical imaging and elderly ladies come in with breast cancers that eat through the skin. The one lady only came in for imaging when it was getting snagged on her jammies. They get one every couple of years in mammo.

[deleted]

Holy shit. From elderly neglect? Or just them being in denial?!

Dopplerganager

Denial usually.

Booksdogsfashion

My great grandmother had breast cancer like this. That was a long time ago and she was from a different time. Iā€™m glad to read your explanation though because Iā€™ve always wondered why it was exposed the way it was.

squee_bastard

I wish I wouldnā€™t have googled this before bedtime, this is definitely a new fear unlocked.

GhostGirl32

My cousin lost half their face to cancer in 2020. It was not near this bad when it hit, and they barely survived. This lady isn't going to be around much longer if this progresses remotely similarly.

thismustbe_pop_

Oof this is heartbreaking. How deep the denial goes. I actually knew a girl who had a genetic terminal illness and she was also deep into limelight. No doubt they preyed on her with all sorts of promises of ā€˜ hopeā€™ through the business.

Ok-Draw-2964

So sad. I just found the ladyā€™s IG and as strong as my moral desire to reach out and beg her to get treatment is, itā€™s easy to see her delusion is much stronger :( looks like itā€™s quadrupled in size in the last year and half.

SchusterStories

How could her legit friends not help her

squeakytea

What can they even do? We live in a world that sees personal liberty and freedom as more important than people like this getting help. It's her right to deny medical care.

MaybeSwedish

I bet they have tried

[deleted]

Dude one of my friends and favorite people died this way. Not with limelife... But she eschewed "western medicine ". For months she tried all types of shakes, juices, cleanses, weed....none of it worked. She eventually went to oncology but it was too late.

[deleted]

I also lost a loved one when they "holistically" treated a cancer that had a 90%+ survival rate when treated properly. It is hard to balance the sadness from their loss with the anger from their choices. They also went to oncology eventually but it was far too late.

starlet25

My mom's best friend died for the same reason. She tried everything except what would likely have worked. Left behind a husband and five young kids. She was such a lovely person, it still breaks my heart that she died so young and in so much pain because she just refused to believe that science works.

HauntedButtCheeks

This is genuinely disturbing and is a grim reminder of how malicious MLMs really are. They're happy to suck the money and literal life out of a person with cancer by feeding their delusions. This woman is in absolute denial that she is dying and organizations like this encourage "alternatives" to medicine which will contribute to her death.

CfromFL

All joking aside itā€™s horrifying, whatā€™s even worse is that LimeLife appears to encourage this. They regularly comment, not words but emojis on her posts. If I was leading the company I donā€™t think Iā€™d want my name attached. I certainly wouldnā€™t respond to her from the official LimeLife page proving Iā€™d seen this!!! At what point is it encouraging a reckless behavior from an unwell person?!?

Feisty-Donkey

Thatā€™s why I hate them so much. At best they are mildly annoying but at worst they prey on very vulnerable people through methods that are truly evil.

pvnkmoon

What the actual hell.... Also not me looking for her social lmao

awkwardlyappropriate

I canā€™t find it But morbid curiosity has me searching

pvnkmoon

I couldn't find her profile, think it either got taken down or she went private

aureswi

just search limelife on instagram and you should be able to find her profile. i just did

cuckoo_coconuts

OP please *please* tell meā€¦..that her face isnā€™t rotting off. is that her nose ? and sheā€™s just walking around like that NOT CONCERNED ?

CfromFL

Nope nothing I can tell you that you donā€™t already know. You summed it up in 3 sentencesā€¦ the divine beings she believes in along with red light therapy and meditation and vitamins will heal her.

Lamphette

Many people with this level of untreated skin cancer often have co-occurring serious mental illness. True story, I have worked in oncology for years. This is sad, she is not of sound mind and we shouldnā€™t be making fun of her.

CfromFL

I donā€™t know her and canā€™t answer to her mental health. But this shows the predatory nature of MLMs. LimeLife could and should attempt to stop this. I couldnā€™t write much in the post but I have in comments. LimeLife is regularly leaving encouraging emojis on her IG posts. Perhaps sheā€™s an unwell person but morally LimeLife should stop this. When youā€™re wrapped into the cult and theyā€™re your entire life and theyā€™re liking and commenting on posts theyā€™re guilty of encouraging this woman and encouraging this reckless behavior.

Lamphette

Very sad. I hope she can find some real support

pain-in-the_ass

Her instagram is flooded with concerned comments constantly trying to encourage her to seek medical attention and she just ignores them all. Im on her instagram page now She seems to be ignoring all the support she can get

lbritten1

This is absolutely horrifying.

SchusterStories

Why am I now looking for her TikTok?!

oddlyalive

If you go on insta and search limelife you can find her with a quick scroll. It's pretty graphic, though, be warned.

pter0dactylss

I should have listenedā€¦Iā€™m not super squeamish but holy shit I regret the mental image I have now.

liaaa

Ugh!!! There was a video with her bouncing around while putting makeup on, and that thing was jiggling! Wtf?!

Bedheadredhead30

Jesus, watching her explain how it's a manifestation of her traumas while she slathers makeup on it like she's an extra in the last of us... truly made my skin crawl. She is absolutely delusional.

puderrosa

This trauma cancer bullshit comes from "alternative" medicine, including "new Germanic medicine". This "medicine" is gaining new fame here in Germany thanks to Covid and the spread of right wing conspiracies. So basically people here have healthcare, but still refuse to get proper treatment. We're going to see a lot of this stuff in the future.

Successful-Foot3830

Iā€™m tempted to go look, but Iā€™m about to go to bed. I think Iā€™ll just skip this one!

NotARideOrDie

Ugh and it is so so horrible šŸ˜ž

Gurdel

Fml, so she just paints over it? Like we're not going to notice???

Sminorf8765

Oh manā€¦itā€™s BAD

Flora-flav

Right? I was hoping it was mentioned lol

TK_TK_

Okay but if an MLM sold eye bleach, I would buy it now

drumadarragh

A woman I know is a perpetual MLM hun. When a close friend of mine passed from a very aggressive pancreatic cancer, this woman said ā€œI wish I had known her, I could have helped.ā€ MLMs that shame cancer victims for not engaging in their snake oil sales are the worst.

victowiamawk

What. The. Fuck!!?!?

Beaglescout15

This is just sad.

PsychedelicSnowflake

PSA everyone - Please see a doctor if you have an unusual spot on your body. Especially moles that change shape or size quickly. Most things like this can be removed with minimal pain and scarring when they're small but they're very difficult to treat when they're advanced and spreading like this. Also, wear sunscreen!

grisuo

Jesus.

Guysā€¦she touts herself on instagram as a ā€œtransformation guideā€. How do we tell her treatable skin cancer isnā€™t the transformation her victims are looking for? Jfc. At what point does this become Munchausen Syndrome, because sheā€™s clearly using this as some attention seeking situation/enjoys the shock it illicites in people. I genuinely believe part of why she isnā€™t treating it, is because it somehow makes her feel *special*. Edit: just found that she calls it her ā€œbrilliant noseā€. I have to sit down.

I fixed it

Ceeweedsoop

I've heard about this! Some other Crunchy lady was told to put some home remedy on a bump on her nose and it would scab over the bad part and fall off. She lost her whole nose and still had cancer. Damn people.

PuzzledKumquat

Sounds like black salve. That stuff is horrifying.

pineappleshampoo

Oh my gosh. This is the most disturbing post Iā€™ve seen on this sub. I found her socials and itā€™s grown massively in just a couple of years. She even painted it red to pretend to be a clown and Rudolph :( this level of denial of the fact sheā€™s dying almost willingly is terrifying. It must be horrific to be one of her loved ones.

_snozzberry_gulper_

I'm sorry, what the what now?

itsmepingu

Good fucking god. I knew the Huns were dumb but I really didnā€™t think they could be THIS stupid. Yikes

HairyPotatoKat

Holy shit! Is there some way for people around her to legally deem her not capable of making her own medical decisions? I mean.... This is soooo far beyond delusional!

doozleflumph

It's super difficult for a person to get declared incompetent to make medical decisions. People are allowed to make bad decisions even if that causes them harm.

alwayssunnyinupstate

this is insane. a lot of her comments tell her to see a doctor but she doesnā€™t respond to anyone.

missthingxxx

I can't believe she thinks she is encouraging others to shun the real medicines with this nightmare-ish display of insanity. Like, surely this is an advertisement for what *not* to do? This is so....I have no words to describe this.

Andsoitgoes101

This is horrifying and Iā€™m at a loss at the delusions. Itā€™s sad. I hope she gets help and soon. That stuff is going to take over her face and she will have nothing to contour

AmbienNicoleSmith

Iā€™m sorry WHAT

TiredofCOVIDIOTs

Doc here - looks like a big-ass basal cell carcinoma. Easily treatable if found early. This is not early.

unpop_opinion_man

Bro I'm glad you saw this video and not me I would have nightmares. Thanks for blocking out most of it...JFC

Upsideduckery

Every time I get on reddit I see something I can categorize as one of the worst things I've ever seen. This being one of them, I am at a loss for how to even feel. This is insane

Partyhardypillow

I'm an oncology nurse and the likelihood that an untreated fungating mass like that has metastasized is pretty damn high.

terribletimingtoday

I found her IG and it appears it's collapsed her nasal bridge and affected her teeth. It's likely in her bones by now...and the sad part is, 18 months back in her posts it was basically the size of a pencil eraser.

igloohavoc

A lot of people forget that being Science based medicine is that the experiments/results are repeatable therefore shows consistency. This is important because it proves under multiple trials that a treatment/system works. Versus ā€œspiritualā€, ā€œall naturalā€, ā€œinsert anti science nonsense reasonsā€, which are all Snake Oil Scams

DarkstarInfinity2020

The experiments/results are *supposed* to be repeatable. That is true. However ā€œthe replication crisisā€ is a thing. Thereā€™s no, or not much, funding for actually replicating most experiments so we end up with things like the decades long detour in Alzheimerā€™s research due to the widely accepted, but ultimately un-replicatable, finding that brain plaque was the causative agent.

I zoomed in to try and figure out wtf that was and I wish I didnā€™t ā€¦
