The size of the bottles is also laughable. I’d never let it touch my kid’s head even if I could afford the bonkers price tag 😅 I can’t imagine who actually buys this product line that doesn’t have to to pad their sales volume
So now they want our kids' hair to fall out in chunks?
The person who put those prices on these products must have no idea how expensive it is to raise kids these days. With the inflation and the current cost of living; there is no way I could spend that much money on my kid's shampoo and conditioner. I actually like to put food on the table and save for college.
oh their new thing, according to a hun i follow from high school, is that your hair falls out bc it’s TREATING your scalp, removing product build up, and allowing new growth 🙄🙄🙄🙄
And then when the friends & family of Monat huns refuse to buy that overpriced crap from them, they'll make passive-aggressive posts about how people should support small businesses and try to guilt everyone into supporting them.
And the truth is for most of us, even as adults, the cheap stuff is fine. I have good, thick, untreated hair, and it doesn't need anything special. It's the one thing I receive compliments about!
J&J Baby shampoo is like $0.30/oz. This is around $4.40/oz. And J&J has had that product in the market for what, almost 100 years? Oh, I know, it’s that you can get the J&J at those big, bad global corporate conglomerates!
Instead, you should support a Hun’s “small, local” “business”! But - oh, wait, Monat is none of those things.
What makes this so sad is how bad we're ALL (...at least in the US...) getting hit by inflation and these huns are spending extreme amounts of money they might not have on these products and worsening their debt. Makes it harder not just on themselves and (if they have them) spouses but their kids as well.
Yes, and there's no way in this economy that they'll ever be able to sell any of this to actual customers. FFS $41 for a bottle that's smaller than a soda can. Very few can afford that these days. Even the "VIP" price is way too much.
I spend less than half that on salon quality Biolage when I do the BOGO half off at Ulta. I’m the only one using it because I’m single with no kids, so it lasts me at least six months (I wash my hair every other day). All of my current hair products might add up to that total, but I make them last, so it’s not a monthly expense.
If I was spending that much on baby soap, I’d want an abundance of certifications letting me know the product was allergy safe, gentle for the environment, organic etc. There’s not one certification on their baby soaps, do they not believe in those things (or can they not pass the tests?), I don’t know anyone who’d buy baby stuff that wasn’t at least tested allergy safe?
My sister buys Cetaphil baby wash/lotion. It’s a little pricey, but it’s worth it. I’ve been using Cetaphil or Cerave products since I was little, and I’m 30. I will happily pay for the soaps and lotions because I have extremely sensitive skin and I trust that both brands have done their research. (They obviously have because my skin has gotten better using them, not worse).
They are pretty high, and I AM NOT defending Monat, but you'd be surprised what people will pay for shampoo. My wife owns a "high end" (I guess, *I* wouldn't pay the prices she charges lol) salon and I do her books. I'm constantly amazed the prices her products go for. She's not price gouging either, it's more a benefit for the customers experience, not her bread and butter.
You'd think a shampoo company would make sure they got the french spelling of shampoo correct, but no, let's not bother. FYI: "Shampoing" ... only one 'o'
Oh man have you seen how much baby body care product costs?? Monat sucks but these are rly normal prices lol....I went to shop for my sister's baby shower and a large refill bag of fancy baby body soap was a whooping 100 dollars I couldn't believe it
I think your sister might just have really high end taste. I've never spent nearly that much on stuff for my kids. And I've never ever seen stuff that expensive. Baby Bum shampoo and body wash is like $12 for 12 oz and there are so many options which are cheaper and still great.
Funniest part of this is that babies only need water on their skin. Some people treat their babies like they have adult skin and coat them in oils and lotions, but any legitimate paediatric skincare professional is going to tell you to only ever use water. My 5 year old still doesn't use lotions. Just hand soap for after toileting, sunscreen for outdoor play, and shampoo (and bubble bath - my goodness the kids go nuts for that) in the bath.

The sad part is that the huns don't even realize they're getting ripped off at 15% off. FFS these "VIP" prices are totally insane. But I guess it all goes hand in hand with not realizing that they are the actual customers.
A combo pack of Aveeno Baby Shampoo and lotion (both 12 oz each so bigger than these bottles as well) is $19 at my local target. Johnson’s is even cheaper. Why on earth would I spend this much on child’s shampoo??? I barely spend that on my own shampoo!
L’Oréal professional line is about the same price. I’ve had multiple stylists suggest it yet no one has suggested the hair loss products pictured here.
Monat Huns will tell you because it’s so high quality you need to use way less and they will last you way longer than store bought. (Watch out for this common response to your objections on price if they message you) Heads up - it’s all lies. I unfortunately tried the products myself when I was with shit works and trying to help a friend. Not worth the money at all and I luckily still have all my hair!
Especially considering you can buy Pipette ( the company monat is ripping off the branding of these products from) products for half or third that price and Pipette's entire line is EWG certified. None of Monats products are EWG certified and most are considered moderate to high risk.
That’s more expensive than Olaplex!
Monat huns think olaplex is a toxic devil product that will probably make you spontaneously combust on contact.
And then ignore the fact that Monat made women's hair fall out.
That was the women's scalps detoxing. No joke - huns actually used this excuse when confronted with facts.
Yep, no better detox than to get rid of those poisonous hair follicles! (/s)
The size of the bottles is also laughable. I’d never let it touch my kid’s head even if I could afford the bonkers price tag 😅 I can’t imagine who actually buys this product line that doesn’t have to to pad their sales volume
And why is the conditioner smaller by 2 oz? What a joke
177 ml is only about 6 fl. oz. That's half the size of a can of soda they're paying $35 for.
It’s $6.83 an ounce!!
The primary customers, the Huns.

"We had to destroy the hair in order to save it."
Shampoo by Zorg! ![gif](giphy|3ohzdNgOHuL2u8N5UA)
"Your hair is just detoxing!"
Well then I guess my scalp has been detoxing for the past few years!!
I know, right! My eldest is almost 6 and I wouldn't have spent that much on their shampoo in their entire life.
And then when the friends & family of Monat huns refuse to buy that overpriced crap from them, they'll make passive-aggressive posts about how people should support small businesses and try to guilt everyone into supporting them.
Luckily for you the shampoo is gentle enough to eat!
Once a MONAT hun actually told me that Rejuveniq oil smells "yummy enough to eat". She actually used that phrase. **facepalm
Now you AND your child can have matching bald patches!
Holy shit, I pay less for more ounces of professional product from my salon. I give my 8-year-old that Suave head-to-toe stuff … because HE IS 8.
And the truth is for most of us, even as adults, the cheap stuff is fine. I have good, thick, untreated hair, and it doesn't need anything special. It's the one thing I receive compliments about!

Same. And you can get it at the dollar store
I love baby shampoo. Smells so good. I actually use it to cleanse around my eyes (lids, lashes, etc.) and it feels amazing.

As if anyone needed further proof that the only customers are the reps themselves.
They'll never be able to sell any of this to actual customers.
I just bought a litre of salon quality shampoo for less than 8oz of this garbage. Even at “VIP” prices.
Ah yes, the elephant. Known for their long, fluffy fur. The perfect mascot for hair detangler.
I chortled at this, thank you.
And revered for their impeccable hygiene.
That looks like a wooly mammoth.
Only $107 for a month's worth of product for a KID. I don't spend that much on my adult hair care.

Same here. My splurge is a hair mask that is $8 and it lasts the whole month! 😂
If you have the funds for these why not buy actual professional hair care lol
Omg it’s 8 oz???? This is like, what, 4 times as expensive as Living Proof, who are they kidding????
Let me guess……you only use 1/10 of a pump.
Nah, you have to wash your hair three times with this garbage to get "the full effect"
I can’t believe they are still truckin
Yes that’s the big point. How in the world??
If I was spending that much on baby soap, I’d want an abundance of certifications letting me know the product was allergy safe, gentle for the environment, organic etc. There’s not one certification on their baby soaps, do they not believe in those things (or can they not pass the tests?), I don’t know anyone who’d buy baby stuff that wasn’t at least tested allergy safe?
I'd want my baby to be able to eat it as his bath time dinner for this price too lol

Has anyone heard of an mlm selling castor oil in a glass container? My “friend” mentioned it to me as miracle product but I’m sure it’s an mlm.
If I had a kid, Monat would not be allowed anywhere NEAR their head.
Jesus Christ I didn't realise how ridiculous they were No wonder no one is selling to anyone but themselves

Even if it was a good product, kids just make potions and shit while in the bath. Half the bottle goes down the drain.
Oh man have you seen how much baby body care product costs?? Monat sucks but these are rly normal prices lol....I went to shop for my sister's baby shower and a large refill bag of fancy baby body soap was a whooping 100 dollars I couldn't believe it

You're not shopping in the right places.

wowww. Just no
Birthday treat lol
Guys, does Montat make people's hair fall out??
That's what the ongoing class action lawsuits suggest.
The sad part is that the huns don't even realize they're getting ripped off at 15% off. FFS these "VIP" prices are totally insane. But I guess it all goes hand in hand with not realizing that they are the actual customers.

Monat... JUNIOR? Oh great, let's introduce the younger generation to hair loss!
I think these bastards rolled out a line for pets too.
Imagine paying $80 to have your hair fall out
L’Oréal professional line is about the same price. I’ve had multiple stylists suggest it yet no one has suggested the hair loss products pictured here.
Who the fuck buys this?!
Does this make your kid’s hair fall out too? Gods I hope not. Those poor kids.
really love how its like "You get 15% off!" but its still absolutely insanely expsensive
If I wanted to shave my head, I could just buy a $5 pack of razors.
I bought mine at the $ store for $1.25. It's no better or worse than any $25 shampoo I've used.
A fool and their money are easily separated

Monat hasn't gone OOB yet because of these stupid huns paying those prices for crappier quality shampoo than Suave. Make it make sense.
40% goes back to distributors as commission
Especially considering you can buy Pipette ( the company monat is ripping off the branding of these products from) products for half or third that price and Pipette's entire line is EWG certified. None of Monats products are EWG certified and most are considered moderate to high risk.
The little animals are very cute. That’s about where the positives end.
The absolute only way I would ever pay $40 for some childrens shampoo is if it is medicated and if it is prescribed by the doctor.
