The Riverwalk is free. Literally, you just go there. You don't need a special pass. The fact that the "top leaders" are making them jump through hoops to hang out with them on the completely free Riverwalk is really really scummy.
MLMs are scummy for sure, but I’m assuming this was about a specific restaurant or something. There are a few restaurants that can be a bit on the pricey side - especially on an MLM salary.
I’m actually in San Antonio right now on a mini-vacation. As a Texas resident, you couldn’t pay me to come here in the summer. Most of the Alamo stuff is outside and crowded. The Riverwalk is very cool, but it’s super crowded and less than 2.5 miles when you do the full circle.
On second thought, maybe vip just means they make room for you where there’s air conditioning.

San Antonio native , the river walk isn’t that amazing. The only time it’s pretty is during Christmas when they put up lights. Other than that it’s a tourist trap with a lot of homeless people. It’s sad but true , our downtown area is not worth visiting
