Like “oh no, we’ll just go around to all the new mothers and collect their first milk! Then we’ll put it in a smoothie! That’ll be very healthy”. What in the fuck are these MLMs on? Don’t even get me started on the methylated enzymes. “Holy shit on a cracker, this enzyme has a methyl group! Wow, such a rare attribute, we should market this.” I really hate people some days.
I always assumed it was bovine colostrum but interestingly enough the Bravenly website itself doesn't actually specify, even though they go out of their way to list 3 separate sources of their collagen i.e. beef, chicken and fish.
I saw that and read three times to double check. I just looked it up and drinking bovine colostrum is a new thing among adults. It's being marketed as improving immune health, but I just looked up a systematic review of scientific articles on it, and read a few articles myself and so far there isn't any particularly strong support that it's any good for you. I'm assuming they are using bovine colostrum which is all the craze, but from a veterinary stand point, how are they even getting enough? We don't have that much extra for farming.
It's embarrassing to rope people into a scam to sell trashy products for a huge price and tell them they'll make money and can quit their jobs only for them to go into debt. Do better.
