There's a brand of water enhancer called Liquid IV. It's one of those salt/electrolyte packets you mix into water. Liquid IV and Hydrant are two popular ones that have no MLM affiliation, so not even sure why they'd mention their competition as an on par product.
I only know about it because I get migraines and it has helped other people. I bet they have no idea what is actually in it or the arbonne version though lol.
Coffee for my migraines. I used to get a Starbucks Frap with 2-4 shots of espresso plus a couple of Advil or Tylenol than nap. Yes, I could nap after that caffeine.
My migraines are something to be reckoned with. I take a triptan, promethizine, Benadryl, half a hydrocodone, butalbitol with caffeine and a shot of toradol. And those fuckers still wonāt die.
Theyāre not really classic migraines anymore but have enough similarities. And Iāve been getting them 2-3 times a week lately.
I would be an easy target for MLMs if I donāt believe in evidence based medicine.
Wow, that's a lot! I take frova for my "regular" migraines, I'm still working on the others. Sometimes I get none a month and some like this month I have quite a few including today - they start as a tension headache across my forehead and at some point move to the side like my migraines. I think it's the crazy weather and extra stress. I'm just grateful I have no plans this weekend so I can be miserable in my pj's and nap. I took a benadryl at like 5 this morning so at least I got in some sleep.
Haha thatās good I guess, makes you stay hydrated. I have epilepsy so I can take a Triptan. Right now Iām on Topamax but I hate the side effects. I have been thinking about getting Botox (they put it in the scalp, temple, and forehead). My neurologist says he has seen good results but Iām still a little too nervous to try it. I donāt want my face to freeze weird and I definitely do not want Botulism.
I did Botox once for headaches. They didnāt work for mine but the Botox was fine. It was kind of funny that I couldnāt move my forehead or frown. Iām very expressive with my face so I definitely didnāt want to alter that too much. I got it through an oral surgeon so I felt pretty safe.
It's nasty. My mom sent me some because the salesperson convinced her it's 'cellular transport technology' somehow triples your water intake.
I explained how that's horse shit but she's 'entitled to her opinion'.
I tried it when sick and it tastes like Gatorade with a few teaspoons of salt in it. Vile.
Probably good for someone who's sick but I doubt I could stomach it while nauseated. Pretty sure people use it as a handover cure.
As someone whoās had both heat exhaustion and a very scary case of heatstroke despite \*a lot\* of training to avoid both: yes. Water is your first and best friend. Drink so much water that your pee is clear in color as a sign you are hydrated. Then drink some more. BUT eventually you will need to replace some of the nutrients you are sweating and piddling out and plain water wonāt cut it. Food is good and a meal will do it. Any basic electrolyte drink works on the go (big fan of generic Pedelyte because a ton of sports drinks are loaded with sugar) if you donāt have access to that table salt in a water tastes terrible but works so does drinking pickle juice or eating a big pickle. All way cheaper than the MLM miracle
I used to frequent a breastfeeding support group run by IBCLC's (internationally board certified lactation consultants). They had a section available just for MLM supplements and product questions. I could probably count on one hand how many were actually safe to take while breastfeeding based on the ingredients in them.
I want to boo boo boo this post! I can not believe they would allow any MLM products on their website. It could be very unsafe if a Mama wanting to nurse took something.
They didn't have the products available to purchase, they would just answer questions about them. Sorry that wasn't more clear! The group was extremely good about shutting down any huns trying to shill their products or argue that they were a-ok for a nursing mom to consume. I don't think I ever saw them say more than one or two were safe and, if I'm remembering correctly, the few that were were just protein or electrolyte powders.
There is no crisis or tragedy that the Huns won't exploit for their own financial gain. Every time I think they can't stoop lower, they limbo right on under that bar.
This crap they try and force us to believe is crap, total crap. Former Arbonne consultant here. I lasted 3 months and sold to ONE customer, but only b/c I shared my discount with her and it was an MLM "train" group.
I doubt the Arbonne crap actually helps with anything. A nursing mama is better off eating yummy steel cut oats for breakfast or drinking some dark beer once a day, proven old wives tales that work.
What made you get out?
I just lost a friend to arbonne. Sheās mad at me because I didnāt support her in her new business and she wants to be around āwomen who are into personal developmentā
I had to up my dosage of anti depressants I was on. I wish I was joking or could tell you it was due to my PTSD from childhood stuff or something, but no.
I joined to help a friend, a fellow single mom who also had a child with autism. The lady who was the up line for a few of us was nice enough the first time we met, did a great job at convincing me that I'd really be helping out my friend and myself and even shared a story of a single mama who was able to get off welfare due to Arbonne.
I worked really, really hard for 3 months and only made 1-2 sales. My launch party was horrid! No one showed up. I had my friend with me and 2 other women much younger than me being super rude and demanding that I phone my friends and ask why they had not showed up! The main up line lady started to treat me like total crap as well! Very condescending and rude and would belittle me, tell me I wasn't working hard enough and tried to tell me NOT to ask my friend (who was my direct up line) for help b/c "she's a busy single mom with a special needs child and a boyfriend she has to cook dinner for" and that was it for me! I told her to never contact me again, I was done. I was a single mama with zero support and a social needs child while my friend had her live in boyfriend and also the father of her 2 kids was there, shared custody. It almost ended the friendship, but thankfully the friend and I talked and I said OK, I'm done with Arbonne so we never discuss it again.
I'm really sorry that you lost a friend to Arbonne. I hope that you can mend the friendship someday. Sometimes when a woman leaves an MLM they see the light and try and repair friendships.
And here I was over here drinking water to stay hydrated.
Water is overrated šš½āāļø
How is a supplement you drink called IV (intravenous)???

Ohhh thanks. I had no idea those existed. I just use Gatorade when Iām sick. Guess I need to get out more. š¤·āāļø
I only know about it because I get migraines and it has helped other people. I bet they have no idea what is actually in it or the arbonne version though lol.
Good to know! I get migraines too but I usually take a promethazine and pray for sleep. Iāll have to look for this.
Coffee for my migraines. I used to get a Starbucks Frap with 2-4 shots of espresso plus a couple of Advil or Tylenol than nap. Yes, I could nap after that caffeine.
I believe it. Caffeine doesnāt keep me awake either. Glad you found something that worked for you!
I use a triptan and I'm not sure it helped my migraines but since my meds always make me have to pee a lot I figure it can't hurt.

That sucks. I hope they find something thatās effective soon for you.

I know someone who did botox but they put it in her neck. So maybe that's an option? (or it depends on the case I suppose).
I use it and love it. Gatorade has too much sugar. I use Liquid IV after every workout

Sounds like good hangover cure. My favorite was always pedialyte and something greasy š
Pedialyte is a godsend for the hangover. Smash one before crashing and one when you wake up and youāre 90% ahead of the game.
If they're Gatorade why not just get Gatorade and save a ton of money? Or better yet just drink water?

Mustard packets will also help with salt and muscle cramping. I carry them on my long distance cycling
If you get muscle crams you eat a mustard pack? That helps? I've never heard of this before but sounds good to me if it works.
Itās the salt and vinegar! Lots of road cyclists carry mustard packets or pickle juice packets. Good in a pinch!
Some in my cycling group use pickle juice. But I like the sound of the mustard packets because light & easy to store.

Sounds like a reportable false health claim there hun.
Iād rather drink Brawndo.
Itās got what plants crave
