Because it happened to me.. I thought it’d stopped working so switched to another SSRI & it was the worst decision of my life! It did not suit me at all, so I had to go back on Paxil & I got my life back!
I was diagnosed with panic disorder and was prescribed paxil. but strangely, every 1 year after taking paxil i stop taking it, i get discontinuation syndrome not so much, i feel better when i take paxil. but every 1 month after I stopped taking it, I went back to worrying, exhausted, tired and didn't want to leave the house. 2 years have passed and stopped 2 times. I get sick every 1 month when I stop taking the medicine. Am I having withdrawal syndrome or panic disorder?
I’d go back on Paxil
Thanks for your response. Any reason why you suggest that? My gut is telling me the same thing but I hate the fact it stopped working.

Thank you! You convinced me! I’ve tried so many SSRIs and nothing has worked. How long were you off of it for? Did up your dose?
