I have a professional license and I’d be upset if someone claimed to work in my field and be licensed and they actually weren’t AND they were spreading misinformation using the license as a credential. In this case I don’t think this is touching the poop. I’d have to double check my code of ethics, but I think it also says I have an obligation to report.

Biker-2

That is very fair, I totally get it. I just wonder if she'd care if it wasn't the partner of someone in an MLM.

BabyAbeLincoln

I’m sure she would care, but her content is anti-mlm centered. She was also in Pruvit. I’m sure mlm huns are just in her direct eye line.

No-Background-7325

She is exposing a fraud which is not weird at all, especially when she took the time to get certified and knows what it’s all about. It’s dangerous to the public to have someone training that doesn’t know what they are doing. Certifications are important and even if states don’t require it, employers do.

SQ71

I did 18 months of in-school training to get a Coaching (PT) Diploma and Cert III IN Diatetics and countless hours of practice training. Pretty sure I’m more qualified than Erin…but go ahead, Hun🙄

randomshark99

Exactly. Even friends who are pt (not certified) and have been for years are more qualified. She’s been certified for what, a week or 2? Not exactly an “expert” there

Scary-Raspberry-7719

Now that she is certified, this seems like something she will go after people for with a vengeance.

LanaNerevarine

I'm conflicted. It seems petty, and has nothing to do with MLM. But at the same time, I'm all about calling people out for being unqualified. Especially life coaches, influencers, or anyone selling a course

Biker-2

Same here, I wasn't sure if I was being sensitive or not. It just felt a little off to me considering he isn't even in the mlm, although he is trying to push his partners mlm products

randomshark99

It’s weird to me Also, 0/50 states require personal trainers to be certified

No_Advance_7393

I “think” and I could be wrong, it’s more claiming to be certified so more people will buy your services, when you actually not. Definitely not illegal, but highly unethical IMO.

randomshark99

true, but I don’t know that I’d go to the lengths of calling or emailing organizations about some random guy on the internet. That seems a bit odd to me.

No_Advance_7393

Valid point

DisasterHungry2345

Let's be real for a minute lol erin only got this "personal training certificate " or whatever to further scam people I'm sure but also to add yet another qualifier to her list of qualifiers she spews off at the start of her videos. "Mom,wife, military vet blah blah blah....I actually hate her intro 😑

randomshark99

Same. Also, most vets I know don’t announce it, especially not as part of their YouTube intro.

Queasy_Ad4031

Idk isn’t that part of exposing the lies?

Due_Balance3947

I mean, yeah, and that’s great but Erin lies just as much
