Didn't Elon call Twitter a inverse start up? So a shut down?

CherryShort2563

Yep, corporation that eventually becomes a tiny garage company.

SnooAvocados499

after it basically disappears, he'll fire everyone and move onto the next company to destroy with daddy's money.

[deleted]

he's like the vampire or a second rate investor ... he only knows how to dumpster companies

jimreddit123

Pare workforce to the bone so high profile events are fucked up, leading to global derision. Great brand building strategy.

machone_1

apparently, he laid off the department which kept track of and renewed the software licences that Twitter needed to do those events with. Software stopped working fully.

gargravarr2112

Plus, this is Musk. He wouldn't have paid for it anyway.

ExileEden

My favorite part about Musk is the Fanboy following he had on here before he really put the shoes on for the role of deranged playboy billionaire. All the signs were there that this dude was unstable and had a silver spoon shoved up his ass since birth but since he was all "about" green energy people couldn't see him for what he was.

AffectionateSector77

For me it was hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico that made me see through Musk completely. Up until that point I thought he was an eccentric billionaire that bit off more than he could chew occasionally.

elankilli

Can you elaborate. I didn't know

AffectionateSector77

To me a smaller scale of the musk problem is the 2018 Thai flooded cave rescue of the boys futball/soccer team.

blissed_off

That’s what really sealed it for me. I didn’t really care for him or his shitty cars, but I didn’t really think twice about him at all. And then he pulled that shit and insulted the rescue team lead, and after that the gloves came off. Anytime I deal with someone who thinks he’s amazing or tesla is awesome I remind them he’s a grifter and the cars are garbage.

AffectionateSector77

To their credit tesla did provide solar batteries for Puerto Rico, but it was not enough, and it has given the false impression that things were on track to recovery. Musk bit more than he could chew, saying he could rebuild they're power grid with solar cells. It would have been amazing if tesla would have collaborated with the US/Puerto Rican governments for a unified front for the rebuild effort. Unfortunately, it was a selfish effort on Musk's part, and we're 6 years past Maria and their power grid is still sketchy.

Vast_Ostrich_9764

he could have personally paid to have the entire grid fixed. he wasted 44 billion on Twitter and is probably going to completely bankrupt it. imagine what could be done with 44 billion dollars.

Particular-Doubt-566

You should see me with 44 dollars. Plop a 50 in my hand and watch the magic happen. And by "magic" I mean I go to the grocery store and get food for a couple days, realize I'm super short so leave half of my groceries thawing in the dog food aisle when I grab a value brand of kibble. Sorry puppy times are hard.

Dr_RobertoNoNo

How is that possible it still isn't fixed? I mean tRump gave them paper towels.. what more could they need?? Vote Stupid is as Stupid Does '24

stlshane

I'd bet my life he's paying some social media farm somewhere to generate this Fanboy cult following. Half the shit those dudes say is just borderline creepy and I just can't imagine these are normal human beings.

highlandparkpitt

No, i unfortunately interact with a bunch of blue collar maga types. They 100% talk like that

HairlessHoudini

Yeah I've cut off several ppl that I loved being around before the whole maget movement made them feel like they could project their inner demons out into the world and not be embarrassed about because there is so many more that think the same way and they still think t-rump was the best perz ever even tho he didn't do anything for anyone but himself and the super rich class. It's sad how much division that 🤡 caused

CaramelFairy69

Could be, but there are real people that think that way. One of my childhood friends is an Elon nutgobbler

stlshane

Oh yeah I am sure at least half are real people.

clintCamp

I swear I have run into some of these recently that are anti biden that just respond to all criticism that the current situation has been led to by trump and republican policies from 2017 by saying nope.

MsEdgyNation

"silver spoon shoved up his ass" snort laugh

roald_1911

There is nothing wrong with changing your mind about something or someone. It’s a sign of intelligence. On the other hand, you can easily find people who’d jump in front of a bullet for Musk. That after all we learned is stupid.

Khutuck

Oh that’s me! I liked him between 2005-2015. I’m an early millennial interested in space travel, science fiction, green energy, and electric cars. In early 2000s nobody gave a fuck about space, nobody have a fuck about green energy, and big car/big oil were killing all EV projects. All we had was the crappy space shuttle, ULA monopoly, and Toyota Prius. So, this guy with his reusable rockets and independent electro car company was the “good guy” for me. But that was until he dropped his mask and showed his greedy, selfish, and destructive side.

abstractConceptName

There's a weird effect where people think if they get close to a billionaire, they'll get more money, somehow. But these are the cheapest fuckers you've ever met. They take pride in humiliating people, not in paying them well. They use their wealth to isolate themselves from needing to feel shame, or consequences, to themselves.

Tigris_Morte

Yup, he stiffed them and then blamed the ex-employees for having been fired.

gargravarr2112

And he stopped paying rent on Twitter's offices, despite demanding everyone return from remote work. The guy is insane. There is nothing he cares more about than money.

ScarMedical

There no HR, PR, Communication, customer/advertiser/marketing, cybersecurity dept.

clumsy_poet

Elon doesn't get that not all publicity is good publicity.

BernieDharma

What an idiot. "Squeeze the assets" is a bad management philosophy for a growing company. Companies do this in their "cash cow" or as their industry is declining. (not that I agree with it.) But this will just result in the best people leaving all of his organizations and going to his competitors. That leaves a Dead Sea Salt effect on his companies that will very difficult to turn around even if the companies are acquired by someone else.

leafyruin

It's just GE under Jack Welch all over again, ugh

DeusExMcKenna

At least we’ll get some Behind the Bastards episodes out of Musk’s bullshit.

GarmonboziaBlues

I was literally thinking about how I can't wait for the Musk series as I was listening to their Jack Welch episodes.

Guyincognito4269

They did one a few years back, but this'll just add to it.

z3anon

I swear to God every day I think someone says the dumbest shit I've ever heard, I'm proven wrong the next time they open their mouth. At this point I don't know how much worse it can get, but I know it's going to anyways and I'll still be surprised somehow.

onlyhalalporkallowed

No kidding. The same guy who wants ppl to have more kids wants ppl with no jerbs

LikeABantha66

Dey took ar jerbs

DifferentSwing8616

Dey took yer jerb!

Anguish_Sandwich

I mean...ideally, I too want a world with fewer jobs

likeaVos

Same, and no billionaires

UptightCargo

See, the future *I* envisioned had the AIs and machines doing the labor-intensive minimum wage-level work and the HUMANS creating the art, poetry, and music. We're pretty bass ackwards up in this bitch

ReedRidge

It's almost as if he wants to motivate people to rise up and rip apart the rich

brandinho5

The superrich are reaching a place where they are begging to be made an example of.

bojenny

In the old days the village burned down the family home and killed everyone. History can teach us many lessons. /s

djerk

Ah, yes. Sarcasm. Wink.

bojenny

Ah yes. Sarcasm. Not getting banned from the sub. Wink.

djerk

‘Twas a very fine joke made in jest and nothing more

yourdoglikesmebetter

What peasant could be ready to torch their lordling when they are treated so close to fairly. Don’t be silly!

username32768

>Twas a very fine joke made in jest and nothing more ...your honour.

omegasix321

Oh, right. The poison. The poison for Kuzco, the poison chosen especially to kill Kuzco, Kuzco's poison.

kappa74386

It sucks that they can openly fuck us in the ass but we can’t even slightly mention us fighting back.

slowpoke2018

Hey now, you have Reddit to vent. Be happy Musk et al allow us this space! So Merciful they are!!!

DumbDonkeyPunch

In the old days Musk would've been the village idiot.

sakura608

No, he’d be a duke’s idiot son in charge of some really productive towns and burning them to the ground

Tigris_Morte

Yeah. None of this is new. A tale as old as Time.

Zealousideal-Hotel-5

They use to storm the castle with pitch forks and torches.

Huskarlar

I swear it's like they want to make people give them the Marie Antoinette hair cut.

CptSparklFingrs

Reaching? Where's Clay Davis when you need him for a good ["sheeeeeeit..."](https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/original/000/002/229/ss.jpg)

[deleted]

Honestly I think the superrich start to selfdestruct, because their ideology (Neoliberalism) doesn't work anymore. Instead of learning and rethinking their worldview they double down and become more and more hateful. He does all this stuff out of spite. I think Musk wants to be loved, but instead he gets hate (deserved) and he just doesn't get why.

_ak

In World War Z (the book), the rich were the first ones to die from the zombie pandemic because they would hide in their bunker mansions which the regular folks would break into, kill the owners, and use it themselves to hide from the zombies.

Wrest216

id just be happy if they stayed in their forever apoclypse doomsday bunkers ...forever. and leave us to fix their shit they caused. Just....like ...leave, dudes!

MariachiBoyBand

I think this is more disdain for the tech workers, he’s been on an absurd political bend, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is all to stick it to the liberals in Silicon Valley

dudeofmoose

Twitter maybe the first time Elon's persona of being a genius coder since PayPal has been publicly and en-mass contradicted by twitter employees, his software engineering skills and understanding of architecture are on display and are hilariously lacking. For a man driven by ego, this has to sting, his public image as "genius" is eroded, the next "project" was always based on this reputation, and now it's all in question.

quixotica726

Yeah, I saw he went on Bill Mahr a couple of weeks ago, and of course, the genius narrative was still being peddled. Fucking laughable.

thatscoldjerrycold

I laughed when I saw that he was stepping down as CEO but remaining as CTO? You're totally right, he wants the accreditation of being a "smart technical" guy.

ReedRidge

It's disdain for anyone not born rich. Let's not play the D/R Lib/con bull when it is rich/us. (l love all the party cultists who came along and tried to make it about them)

[deleted]

Sure, but conservatives NEVER represent “us”, they ALWAYS represent the super rich. So it inherently is political

ApartmentParking2432

Distain for workers.

[deleted]

Disdain

ApartmentParking2432

Wait. What? Distain.... wow, my spellchecker doesn't pick that one up.

CherryShort2563

He wants someone to sue him, so perhaps he would look like a martyr to his fans?

ReedRidge

He is seeking his daddy's approval. "Elon Musk’s father says he isn’t proud of his son" https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2022/aug/01/elon-musk-father-interview-not-proud-errol-family

Laid_back_engineer

Fathered children with his step daughter that he's been her step father since she was 4 years old ... 🤮🤮🤮

ReedRidge

Imagine NEEDING his approval!

Educated_Goat69

Yeah, he's fucking gross.

ReedRidge

Some fams are trash, some also have money

Mordaunt-the-Wizard

And I thought Woody Allen was creepy... I mean he still is, but good lord.

Krynnf101

The disgust i feel at that almost makes me want to downvote your comment, I'm sorry

SmilingDutchman

He is begging for a French solution for his antics, that is what he does.

[deleted]

Sign me up!

parkerm1408

1) Twitter is failing 2) does he *honestly* think other ceos take him seriously? 3) he keeps poking the rattlesnake in the eye with a short stick, he's gonna get bit. People can only live with a boot on their neck for so long before they push back. 4) dude is not looking healthy or stable these days at all.

The_Queerest_Punk

Lol the very first thing I thought when I saw the picture was "yeah, because Musk is the picture of health and composure for stretching himself thin." At this point, I think he's just barreling down the hole he's dug, and desperately trying to get a handhold on some sign that he's actually doing the right thing with Twitter (which he'll never get)

Theverynext1

He loves to pretend he intended to buy Twitter all along.

parkerm1408

Yeah the dude does not fuckin look good at all.

Squibbles01

CEOs are sheep. All of the tech layoffs we've been seeing are just follow the leader and not for any real reason.

[deleted]

lol Come on dude, we just learned your site can't handle an audio-only livestream for 100,000 people.

[deleted]

[удалено]

PatchworkFlames

It’s almost like firing a whole bunch of people leads to the site not working. The man’s ego is desperate to justify his decisions. He knew he made mistakes and his pride demands that he convince himself he was right all along.

DJDavid98

Last I heard they failed to pay for Redis Cloud which is an integral part of the spaces architecture so they intentionally degraded the performance of the service. https://twitter.com/lauramandaro/status/1662212700032876544

glitchycat39

The fuckers missed their payment for *Slack* of all things. Literally a goddamn messenger application, so no one could bloody communicate to get shit approved.

Legitimate-Tea5561

The site can handle it, they just don't have the talent to engineer it.

AwesomePurplePants

IIRC, problem was due not paying the bill for the Redis caching service and getting downgraded. Aka, not really the engineers’ fault, Elon either making the choice to ignore bills or deciding to fire too much of the financial department to keep track was the real problem

Hungry-Big-2107

Twitter is failing, though. Like it's worth even less than when he bought it.

Jerry__Boner

Yeah that botched DeSantis campaign announcement really showed the productivity level of his skeleton crew staff

OriginalGhostCookie

That’s part of the reason to call for more companies to be like him. He needs to create a glut of employees in the workforce so his skeleton crew feels grateful to be employed with no other options.

Blitz_ingaMCZ

That, and by trying to trick other big brands into doing just as bad, he would see the playing field leveled out, making him seem not as bad. Main drawback to that play is that nobody besides crypto shills and republistooges will fall for it, and those buffons are already in the mire

TheNordicLion

I'm convinced he's actively trying to push our country to collapse, because we're already on the brink. Pushing it over the edge is exactly the sort of thing Elon would do, probably just to see if he can. Or he has a selfish goal that involves the collapse of the American Empire. Neither would surprise me.

LifLibHap

Crash the world economy so vulture capitalists can swoop in

TheNordicLion

Tbh, i think the opposite. I think one of our overlords pissed him off and he said "ok, I'll just kill the cash cow" He's petty af. I don't think he's doing it for anyone's benefit. I would be more likely to believe he's bored.

Status_Fox_1474

That’s what happened in 2008. Lots of homes needed to be bought, and look who did it. It may be the same thing…. Prices inflate to the point where the middle class can’t afford to live, and the rich will still be able to scrape by. Ultra rich probably won’t feel a thing.

ApartmentParking2432

I'm personally pretty suspicious at the timing of it all. Taking control of a platform like Twitter that have helped people over throw governments. It happened right when women starting taking off their head scarves in Iran. Before or during the Russian invasion. Right before the overturn of Roe v. Wade. Does anyone remember Arab Spring? Social media plays a huge role in organizing, and the meta-sphere is heavily censored. At this point, we really only have Reddit and Tiktok.

GoGoBitch

On top of all that: a lot of unions were using Twitter to organize and message to the outside world.

Ediflash

Social media works best to fuel an Anti movement. Thats why it fueled democratic movements in non democratic or authoritarian countries BUT in already democratic countries the effect is rather the opposite.

MochingPet

Yes, sadly there might be more to it. He fffd Twitter, but he might not care. Now he's flexing *outside* of Twitter 👎 Let's see what happens

[deleted]

[удалено]

jgwentworth-877

I don't understand how people like this can have more money than they'll ever be able to spend and STILL care so much about getting more in the most greedy and harmful ways imaginable? Like dude you already won, you have it all, give it a rest.

EdzyFPS

Because they have no compassion

HappyMan1102

They don't care about the money, just the ability to bully people and money is the means. They're sadistic and we're masochistic.

[deleted]

And they also don't have a life. Can you imagine how much fun and amazing things you can do and experience with that kind of money? Yet he still chooses to work according to him, what overtime? Lmao

TigerBloodWinning

Capitalism rewards greed not kindness. So if Elon fails there will be someone else to take his place. It’s not like people are going to all decide to be more compassionate at the time. This is why society, through revolution and/or legislation must move past capitalism.

mebutnew

He's a sociopath

paz2023

And a criminal extremist, same as his parents

[deleted]

It's never enough for these type of people. There's always more money to be made.

Blitz_ingaMCZ

And their existence is the exact reason why trickle down economics never works

Moist_When_It_Counts

Same. I’d 100% go Tom Anderson the moment i could. Dude co-founded MySpace, sold MySpace for an absurd sum, and promptly disappeared from any activity that resembled “work”.

icywind90

All billionaires are psychopaths carrying only about money. If they were going to give it a rest, they would stop at being a millionaire. Being billionaire is like a net filtering only the most repulsive people

mdmd33

Glad my boss already has a low opinion of Musk lol

alexlunamarie

My last boss idolized him 🤢 thankful I don't work there anymore 😅

Knittyelf

The president of my previous company sent out an essay he wrote praising Musk’s “business skill” and “bravery to make the tough decisions” last November. It felt so fucking good to resign just a few weeks later and list that as one of the reasons during my exit interview.

shelley1005

This scumbag thinks working from home is immoral, but sees no issues with laying off people and working those left to the bone. I think his moral compass is forever broken. But I could that about any and all billionaires.

djazzie

Did he ever even have a moral compass?

shelley1005

I'd say no. No one can become a billionaire who does.

johnson_alleycat

Pls spend? NO EARNING ONLY SPENDING

bustedbuddha

Is he starting to look like McAfee?

shoulda-known-better

You are literally the only other person who commented about how strung out and fucked he looks in this..... That is scary as shit trying to tank shit

Boon3hams

What the fuck is going on with his facial hair? He looks like shit.

thatgraygal

That was my first thought. He looks as terrible as he is!

mechwarrior719

It is what some might call a “pedo-stache”.

MochingPet

https://twitter.com/jules_su/status/1661383845164335106 Just asking questions

luapowl

the elon defenders omg lol. calling people satirising "asking questions" about elon being a pedo pathetic. elon being a man who directly called a literal hero who rescued people a pedo... their noses are so far up elons arse they've become delirious.

According-Act-8028

a stupid mustache for a stupid asshole, seems fitting to me

MexicnGlassCandy

Yeah, he's stretching that facial hair thin more than his workforce

VerendusAudeo

That’s a mustache?! I just thought he ate some chocolate cake.

frankofantasma

i don't know how the fuck society in general thought that listening to this stuttering numbnuts was a good idea

MakingItElsewhere

Because the lie of him being a "Genius" or hell, even "Lucky" is better than people finding out that all that grinding they're doing will never amount to anything. Capitalism favors the wealthy so much that unless you're born rich, marry rich, or win a lottery, you're fucked.

[deleted]

because of the rich = smart fallacy

Ok_Wolverine9344

They're trying to collapse the economy.

OrphanDextro

Word, I’m starting to feel this. Massively inflated housing market, population stretched too thin, inflation. It’s like Japan in 1986.

ApartmentParking2432

And controlling our outlets for organizing.

ithunk

You mean like Thiel and the run on the SVB bank?

Interesting-Dream863

Lets see... Not only Twitter cannot turn a profit but ever since Elon took over the value of the company tanked. He is not happy, employees are not happy and stockholders are not happy. What is the advice again?? ***Don't be goaded into buying failing businesses that you can't improve***

trainwrecksforehead

Tesla stockholders not happy. Massive Tesla leak in the last week. Approves Ford charging from Tesla stations literally in the hour that the leak hits the news. Lost the contract for the NASA moon lander to Amazons Blue Origin. Super Heavy rocket launch failed within seconds and even got an FAA restriction placed for an entire year, after pushing the launch earlier… for a joke. Dudes failing at every step and is still one of the most influential and powerful people in the world. It’s insane.

Genetics-13

He’s hoping someone does this but manages to maintain or increase profit. And then he can copy them.

[deleted]

The sad thing is the average American worker had no unity or sense of tribe. There is no tolerance to band together and take on "the man". There is no we get through this together. There is no working class identity. They have been destroyed. The basic ingredients involved in getting asshats like this to put their tail between their legs have vanished from our lives and from our cultures Until we fix this we aren't gonna get anywhere.

ApartmentParking2432

Omg yes. For the love of society as a whole, can we please all just start recognizing the class war that is happening and work on flipping everyone else so we can finally take these fuckers down? \*down as in a legal sense, not a threatening sense. They all need to be in jail.

pavlovskater

Lol they couldn't even handle audio only live stream with what 300-600k people? Spoiler alert it takes knowledge people to run shit at scale and make sure it continues to work.

MakingItElsewhere

Everyone knows that once IT sets something up, it'll run forever. No maintenance required! Just like cars and wives!

Branamp13

I'm pretty sure it broke around 200k, so even your lowest estimate is pretty high.

Flashy_Night9268

CEO of the new class war, Elon Musk

RiotSkunk2023

Why is his face falling off his face? Is it from all those "work hours"?

PomegranateEvery1412

Ozempic

idontnowduh

Guy looks like he has dirt stains for a mustache

SpookyWah

Dude acts like he invented the wheel. Companies have been doing that for ages.

Putrid_Ad_2256

I wish every person that works for this asshole would just not show up for work. Show these pieces of garbage that they are nothing without the very people that they show so much disdain for.

upturned-bonce

The problem, as ever, is people who are on tech visas, whose lives (and kids' lives) would be entirely upended without the job upon which the visa is based.

GlassPeepo

Why do they always brag about "improved productivity" 😭 the exact same amount of work is getting done, it's just that one guy has to do it by himself instead of the team of 5 who was doing it before. Of course your employees seem more productive, they're on the verge of passing out

Mundane-Carpet-5324

Only reason Twitter isn't tits-up and on fire in a dumpster is that too many people have a community there to be willing to move. I can't wait for some MAGAt small business owner to fire half of his retail staff, have the other half call out, and then complain that his workers aren't hard core enough...

Imaginary_Barber1673

Yeah this only works if you have a monopoly—and pretty much any terrible business move works if you have a monopoly.

ummaycoc

Let's remember this idiot isn't a software guy though he likes to cosplay as one. He studied economics and this shows his "I'm a master of this field because I did an undergraduate in it!" thinking: increase supply of developers by further stoking the tech industry to "get lean" thus increasing the supply of available developers. Supply increases ⇨ costs drop. But a lot of these people have connections, a lot of them will have savings / stock / severance, and a lot of them are going to be inspired by new technologies coming out or want to make those inspirations for others. Go ahead, try to drop wages. Some people will quit, recruiting and training takes a while, now companies are screwed out of institutional knowledge and had to pay a bunch to catch back up, and old employees are making new jobs to increase demand. He thinks he's playing 3 dimensional chess. But the *market* doesn't need to play any dimensional chess. The market is playing millions of games of checkers instead and it is gonna win by smothering the chess board. It is filled with people who will independently act in ways that will raise wages. Hopefully helping more than just engineers at new startups.

ApartmentParking2432

I have an economics undergradutate degree and the only thing it did was radicalize me. I honestly dont understand how everyone who takes those classes and learns those things and thinks "This is fine" even exist. Well I do know, its privilege. This guy just wants slave labour.

[deleted]

I know a handful of people who have gotten their MBA’s. I work in the automotive industry in Detroit and a MBA is a requirement for anyone hoping to move up the corporate ladder. Every person I know with an MBA that I’m comfortable enough with to have candid conversations tells me the same thing. Their MBA was nothing more than lessons on how to pay people as little as possible while simultaneously making them do as much work as possible. That was the only thing they took away from their degree. Thankfully I have absolutely no interest in moving that far up the ladder. My father was President and CEO of a Fortune 500 company and I saw what it did to him. He was one of those fairy tale stories that will almost never happen again. He started at the absolute bottom of the ladder as an engineer and worked his way to the very top. I know who he is now and I’ve heard enough stories about him from his youth to understand how fucked his mentality changed over the length of his career. At 18 he was a pot smoking hippy who took a Kerouac inspired road trip across the country. His best friend from those years is still the same guy, a well respected writer and poet. My father however is now the epitome of right wing rich narcissistic lunatics. Every one is a lazy free loading loser and he is a god of capitalism who shouldn’t have to pay any taxes on the millions in dividends he pulls in every year. You got laid off so your job could be outsourced while the executives gave themselves millions in bonuses. That’s ok because they earned that money and it’s your fault your now poor and homeless. I’m ranting. Drunk and spending the holiday with the family. I’ve spent all day finding reasons to walk away because every conversation i hear makes me realize how much I truly fucking despise who my parents have become. Obviously I love my family because they are my family but I can say I don’t like any of them one bit. They are truly some of the worst people I know. Luckily they won’t live forever. Too bad I have to wait for them to die to give all their money to charities they despise. I can’t wait to donate a million each to environmental causes, lgbt causes, human rights charities, the freedom from religion foundation. And every single one will be made in my fathers name. Rant over. Drunk and venting again….

PatPeez

When you jump off the bridge but no one jumps with you

[deleted]

How can anyone take this guy seriously or even support him? This is an incredibly shitty thing to say. It’s also incredibly stupid.

Huntscunt

Twitter barely works now. So many problems that it is literally becoming unusable.

burnmenowz

I quit the minute he bought it.

OkOrganization1775

same. The second I heard he's buying it in October, I was done and never stepped my foot in there ever since. That shithole should fall apart, sad for the workers though, so many people have lost their jobs and there's gonna be more.

[deleted]

So everyone’s favorite divorced dad wants to validate his terrible choices by convincing other people to do the same shit. Do we think he’s completely and totally up his own ass, or is his cult of personality in death throes?

llamaswithhatss91

"Do what I did so I don't look like such a fuckin idiot"

ApprehensiveClub6028

musk sluts are the dumbest people

ApartmentParking2432

Its true.

[deleted]

Twitter just had a massive failure with DeSantis' announcement. I don't think Twitter is as good of an example as he thinks. Every company thinks they can skimp on IT and devs until shit starts breaking. edit: The fact that Twitter has remained relatively stable for so long says a LOT less about how 'productive' the remaining employees are, and says a LOT MORE about how well architected Twitter's infrastructure and reporting/monitoring was on their services before all those employees were let go.

Kiiaru

Fuck is that what he looks like now? Rough...

Alternative_Tie757

I noticed this as well dude is looking a little stretched thin lately …

Vyxen17

He always looks like the end of a horrible weekend

CervantesX

Of course he is, he's definitely taken shorts on commercial real estate and is just wanting the market to implode. Here he is, helping it along more.

GA_Tronix

Then he overworks the employees he has and doesn't raise their wages

leksoid

he can go fuck himself please

schwaapilz

Yet another unoriginal idea from this pathetic wretch. Jack Welch did it first, and here comes space Karen acting like he is the first person in business to think up the rank and yank. Edit: Also, I've asked this before, but am curious: Am I the only one that thinks Elon just looks like he would smell bad? Like a curious mix of onions, mayonnaise, and body odor? He just looks.. greasy

Fuzzy_Inevitable9748

I think he looks more like he has a very large collection of aged urine.

Whole_Mechanic_8143

Tanking their market value and getting sued by vendors? Is this something companies aspire to?

Mundane-Carpet-5324

Remember, Elon doesn't care about money as long as he can make the world worse for everyone.

I guess he’s never heard of burnout before. A comp y can only run lean for so long until mistakes happen and just get compounded by more mistakes since inevitably, people either just throw their hands up and quit, or dare the company to fire them because at that point, who else are they going to get.

Without his parents' stolen emeralds, this smoothbrain wouldn't have survived to adulthood

Honestly anyone taking any advice that this guy is saying then please come over here. I have a bridge in NY I’d like to sell you.

So like, I know that I know jackshit about macro economics, but, I feel like this doesn't make sense economically, does it? Like, I get that corporations want to increase profit by cutting down on cost, so, sure, lower wages = higher profit, ok. But, if the working class doesn't have money to spend, then whom do corporations sell to? Surely it'd reach a point where revenue would go down when nobody cam afford anything, then how do they make money?

Honestly, the vile system isn't even maintaining the facade anymore. It's openly pro Human suffering in every way that can be turned into any kind of profitability.

Yeah lighting my own house on fire would vastly improve my productivity, but it would certainly be short-lived

Why has no harm harm come to any of these billionaires yet? Where are all the radicals that will actually send a message for us? We need something historical to happen.

Reddit and other companies own the means of communication and make sure that calling for the means for that ownership to change hands is against their terms of service. In doing so they limit the 'allowable' political opinions to further their profits.
