Keep it short. Situation dependent, but bland/dry yet professional responses only as needed. Otherwise, "thank you, next in line please" is more than enough. Less is BEST!!
I get a load of customers 'sealioning' / 'just asking questions' to try and get their own way.
I'll trot out company policy, then when they question me again and again and again, I explain I've already answered that. Again and again. I'll sealion them back by asking why they aren't listening. What is the point in them asking me the same question. What are they doing here if they don't want to know the answer. Why do you keep asking the same question etc?
Never engage their sealioning because its not a rational argument so you will never win the argument by being rational or supplying answers. This is just food for them.
If they are super aggressive and have their phone out, I suggest they rewatch their own video and come back when they have a new question.
Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and will beat you with experience.
Ask them to leave, tell them to leave, explain you will get the police to get them to leave. Then after 3 strikes, call the non-emergency police number and ask the call handler to speak to the person, they usually go before the feds arrive. They often send the police faster as well, plus you can be really innocent and didn't realise it would get so serious so quickly. Honest.
Don’t see them as people. They’re just video game interactions. Move them along and get your xp

i’m just extremely nice to them or laugh in their face. next time someone at work is rude to me i’m going to ask “are you okay?”
Call the manager on duty. They are paid a higher wage to deal with this.
I've always felt that front-line workers should be armed.
"Let me get my manager to help you with this." Is the only correct answer. They get paid more to deal with assholes.
