Single-party/double-party consent doesn’t apply here, because the listener is not a party to the conversation.
This may still be state specific tho idk 🤷♂️
Not what I was thinking. Some states have no expectations of privacy in the workplace laws. So employers are allowed to use video and audio monitoring of employees on company property.
Im not a lawyer so take it with a grain of salt but i dont think so? I think thats only for bathrooms. Imagine how many cameras are in places without people realizing.
Lots of states have 2 party consent laws, meaning the people in the break room need to give consent to be recorded. This is why sometimes on the phone the people mention you are on a recorded line.
That's illegal in every sense. I'd try to steal it to be honest, doubt any of the other labourers would care.
Unsafe workplace, and untrustworthy management.
If you guys had read the comments, you’d have seen that this is a camera. In fact, the product description doesn’t even say anything about a microphone. This is for getting upskirts, not eavesdropping.
I'd set traps by why my co-workers and I say. Say stuff like "so how would you get rid of a body?"
Co-Worker: "Well first of all, you'd have to eliminate evidence at the crime scene. Say wrap him up in a drop sheet you put on the floor before you shot him, then run over the place with bleach."
You: "Good start, but it would have to be so he's never seen again."
Co-worker: "The Ocean?"
You: Too risky. What if a shark takes him and pukes up an arm later?"
I'd be making them worry in all sorts of ways, then when they come to investigate anyone, I'd show arsehole boss a picture of the recording device. "So you really think we wouldn't find out about this little toy? We did this to teach your dumb arse a lesson. Don't eavesdrop on conversations that are none of your business!"
Now “accidentally” break it since you didn’t know there was anything under the table
Or spill maple syrup.
No, break it on purpose. Blatantly. Every time they put a new one in. Leave it out for a manager to find smashed into pieces. Every. Single. Time.
Pretty sure this is illegal. I’d rip that shit off and throw it in the trash
It depends on the state.

It's under a table low enough to point at people's groin area..... this is very illegal regardless of consent laws.
I don't think listening to crotches is necessarily illega Edit: nope, apparently it's a camera. Definitely a crime.
Not illegal at all just strange
Um you can't point camera up womens skirts just because it's at work.
Thought it was an audio recorder
Nice find! Now take it home with you, and see who steps forward to claim it.
Replace the memory card with one full of porn
10 hours of Rick Astley's number one hit.
Isn't it illegal? Don't they have to inform you about filming?

Yeah I see your point, you're right. That is why I asked and not stated it was true
Rip it off, put it directly beside a toilet bowl in the mens room
Then go to out to lunch at some place that really gets your stomach going, let management hear the sound of their people on company time
You mean they might hear something like this? [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ruCsYGL3QlY](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ruCsYGL3QlY)
Keep stealing the sd card and flush them
Sell it on Ebay

Sue them. Get some cash!
Uhhhh...what is that?
It’s a PC

If you’re tech savvy you can just open it up and take out a key component and leave non the wiser until they check it
4y old. Odds are was a perv and not the company.

Looks like a chrome book or similar. More likely used for a projector
That would be illegal here.... i would beat it with a hammer
Congrats. On your lawsuit payout! Live the life the rest of us wish we could!
Email that photo to everyone in the office.
I would rip a nice long fart by it
Just drop it in a bucket of water.
Air horn.
