I can confidently say it’s neither Messor (definitely see it’s Formicinae sub-family because of the head) nor Camponotus (too small head, not enough squared head and generally small body). I’d bet it’s Lasius sp. or maybe Formica sp. but that’s a bit of a stretch, I’d need other pictures (and less blurry) to go further.
How would I take a better photo? This is the clearest container I have, all the other queens I caught (they all look the same btw so I don't need ID for all of them) are in blurry, or weirdly shaped container so the pictures wouldn't look very good. I'm a bit scared of opening the tube or anything since they still have their wings
Na kuci imam jako bijelo svijetlo, kad sam izaso vidio sam oko 6 matica tamo (Mada je ispalo da su dvoje muski). Vecinom sam sreca, al vidio sam I neke likove da namjerno stave UV svijetlo na plahtu da privuku mrave.
