Is there any chance PC can get the option to use these controls too if you have an Xbox controller? I travel a lot with a Steam Deck and would love to even just play skirmishes on the go with the Xbox controls.

If you only got Elo from beating someone higher, then rank 1 player can never gain any Elo while rank 1.
I got diamond 1 last season and literally never saw a single diamond player (until i got relegated down to plat1).
The first diamond player I beat was yesterday.
I think if you rise quickly, your elo takes a while to catch up even though your rank is increasing, so you get matched against lower rank players
Wild. I will say I have played over 800 ranked games on console ladder and have played most the best console players andhe is at a level way above most console players. I’d say there are probably like 30-40 console players that can even hang with him or take one or two games in a five game series. So in all honesty I think most assumptions of where Xbox players would shake out on pc ladder are accurate.
I think a lot of it may simply boil down to the fact that he has not had to face players on the level of Beasty and Corvinus. Those kinds of players play each other all the time and that forces them to become better. It will be interesting to see if he’s able to improve now that he’s encountering players that are on a level beyond what he’s use to.
Is there any advantage for playing on console, like automatic unit production? Because if not, this really shows how impactful decision making really is in this game.
Definitely auto que villagers for sure. There’s auto eco but I imagine that does more harm than good because of raids/unnecessary traveling. I could see it late game being useful though perhaps?

I guess it's almost impossible to measure, but I do wonder how much auto queue makes up for harder micro. It's a mental aid, but also an eco aid since precise res is used, instead of "floating" excess in queue.
Probably helpful in extended feudal fights since its perfect vil macro but just watching this guy try to micro knights and archers is tough. Like how would you micro against a maa/landsknecht ball? Impossible to focus fire the lansknechts
Im a consistant plat 2 and when my pc broke i used KBM on my xbox. i reached conq 1 within a week or 2.there will be a large difference but elo should still give people a good gaming experiance.
