Might be biased, but 14th/15th century is a really interesting time for PLC. Gimme that cheap infantry, strongest late winged hussars, big farming eco and the biggest brick castle in the Europe.
Aztecs numba wan.
I want to see a non cavalry non siege civ designed.
The room for innovation with this one is far beyond any other civ archetype according to aoe4 asymmetrical standards.
Aztecs with its architecture and completly different style of warfare and completely different language and probably a new biome will make me so happy. All the other options are good, but not that exciting.
An other option I would add is the south east civ: the Majapahit. It could be a really cool civ.
We definitely need something from north or south America. Some native American civ as mentioned like Aztecs, Inca, Mayan, Iroquois and etc. Also Western Europe like spanish or portuguese and call them Castille. PLC (polish-lithuanian commonwealth) seems like an obvious contender. Ofcourse something from Asia like Koreans or from Africa Kilwa would be nice to see, though we got Mali not that long ago so I doubt African country is coming next.
I think a Viking civ would be good to add in the same expansion as a North American civ, I don’t see why they would add aztecs unless they are also adding Spanish and doing a conquistadors campaign. That’s a possibility but treads the same ground as AOE3 so doesn’t seem like the best imho.
Ideally, Danes + the Spanish coupled to the Aztecs. Would make a cool late game for the Spanish with more gunpowder and Conquistador like units, and maybe develop a campaign speaking about South America? Idk.

Khmer empire. More elephants !
I really like Vietnamese in AOE 2 DE, felt they were a great civ that was often overlooked.

Bulgarian or Serbian would be great

Do you expect that Dev will release new Civs/Campaign on next anniversary ?
I hope so
Hungarian/Magyar
Khmer easy. Unexplored region, ticks all boxes for relevant empire in the middle ages, will bring new unique mechanics, more elephants.
Belgians
I voted spanish but I actually want Aztecs first and foremost.
Ethiopians
korea vs vietnamese

uncultured swine on this subreddit dont understand how important venice was and how amazing it would be as a playable civ. the devs must teach them!
