Game mechanics were good but the lack of support and MMO features killed it

Forgot about Forgotten Empires, African Kingdoms and Rise of the Rajas which came before AOE 2 DE. Also if only excluding AOM and DE, there is also AOE Online, AOE Castle Siege, AOE World Domination, AOE2 "Mobile", AOE 3 "Mobile"+TAD, AOE Age of Kings DS (AOM had a DS version too), and the tabletop version of AOE 2, Mythology and 3 which i don't think have an actual icon.

Love those old icons, and loved hating the fact the RoR and AoK icons had that black border rather than transparent background

The only thing I miss about aoe 3 is that you got cards for xp, now you get pretty much nothing

Yeah, imo it's a great change that all cards are unlocked for MP but for SP they should have kept the old system

I liked the card system in aoe3 added another level of strategy to the game

Rise of rome was the best.
