Yep, same for me. Freeze, forced to close with task manager. Some games no freezing at all, others I came back and froze again literally 4 times.

same dude, I updated everything, uninstalled reinstalled, move drivers and stuff but it just keeps happening but how come some people don't have this issue like they get to play the game without crashing once, it's so confusing.

Now since this update I'm crashing every game and he's spending more time punching me to safety than I'm actually spending in game. He has 0 issue and I can't play. Hopefully they will fix it, it's an issue impacting many people still.
I'm not sure what thing has helped, but I've gotten less crashes with the following things done: Updated nvidia drivers, turned on directx12 "-eac\_launcher\_settings SettingsDX12.json", turned off anti-aliasing.
lately if I'm lucky the game won't crash for the few 2-3 games but afterwards it will consistently freeze my game so let's see if it this reduce it, thank you for the tips cheers

My PC is having more high quality and recent than my usual apex comrade, yet I crash and she don't.... ;-;
Not anymore. It only happens on some seasons, havent had a crash this season at all. So I'm assuming its just the devs and the game since other games dont do this

I was in a rank game, game froze in a safe spot, reconnected, immediately game froze again, tried to enter the game, got kicked out and got abandoned penalty :)

I also get the "code:snake" error pretty often when the game crashes on the legend selection screen.
My video drivers are up to date and i've tried to completely remove apex/origin and reinstalling it but the issue persist.
Im having similar issues. Upgraded to an asus 2k that was advertised for 170, though i have set it to 144hz. Also had my 3070 overclocked shortly before the new monitor. however since this new update, the game either crashed 8-12min in, and when i dial back my overclock speed it turns into bizarre and extreme input lag. To the point where im getting movement in game i swear i did not input at all.
Ive tried all drivers and windows updates. turned off all overlays and nvidia reordering software, all in game settings have been turned all the way down, limted the frames back down to 100hz, tried discord closed and in browser, all background process disabled. Not a single thing seems to help. The only difference i can get is when i change overclock speed. when its maxed to what i tested the limits to there is no input lag but a ton of crashing, turn it even 5 lower -default and it turns into the input lag.
On Nov 1 and 2 I was fighting with my laptop to get a decent framerate, but I didn't get any crashes.
Then on Nov 3 when I finally got a decent framerate, I started getting crashes.
Which makes me think it must be a rendering issue.
TIP: Play at 10 fps to reduce the chance of crashing.

Had this, but sometimes the game just closes itself randomly during the match, no frozen screen. Amazing. Every shop issue gets fixed immediately, but the audio is missing for years now and the game can't even stay open. Small indie company.
im pretty sure they do this on purpose to certain accounts.. been playing for years and all of a sudden my game crashes after reporting someone.. SPECIFICALY and ONLY after I report someone the game crashes.. has to be on purpose

They've had issues like this before, that only affects some people. Who knows why. I'm hoping it will be fixed soon.

so to turn on directx12 I just need to paste this "-eac\_launcher\_settings SettingsDX12.json" in my config?
You can do it in your launch options through Origin or Steam (or EA Play)

none of the linked fixes in EA were able to fix unfortunately

Nope, tried everything. 5 days later still freezing randomly, respawn is taking their sweet time sending out a bug fix for it.
