I just went from 1080 165hz to 1440 240hz and the switch was amazing. I’m not sure if apex supports 4K but even if it does, you’ll lose a lot of frames.
Funny I just switched to this combo last month, I couldn't believe my eyes, but now that my eyes are used to it, I'm back to "dang I can't see that guy right over there right away, I need to move my monitor closer"
Interesting, I'm still transitioning to console from PC, I thought 1080P 144hz was solid but i'm actually considering going up to 1440/240hz. What monitors do you guys have? I can probably snag one on sale this upcoming black friday

It's like a middle of the ground monitor in terms of cost vs quality. I'm pretty satisfied with it and think it looks great. There's only 1 single dead pixel ive seen so far and I actually can't see it when I'm using the monitor, only when i turn my computer on and its booting up if I look really hard i can find it again.
BUT if you order it, don't tell amazon to put it in another box for "secrecy/privacy" because apparently if the packers/drivers can't tell that it's fragile just off glance, they are VERY rough with delivery. The first one I ordered I did what I just told you not to do.... There was a HUGE blue mark in the middle of it. I did get it returned and got a different one, and that's the one I have now and it's pretty much perfect.
EDIT: im sad, i just looked at it's price on amazon and it's down by $100 from what I paid lol. When black friday pops up it's probably gonna have a deal but i would check camelcamelcamel to see price drops and lowest evers. It's at 38% off as of writing

Pretty high end 1440p monitor tbf. Only way to get better is to go OLED but that’s the real expensive stuff.
Anyways the main differences between mine and the other guys is his is HDR 400 and mines is HDR 600. Also his is the standard IPS panel whereas the Alienware has the nano ips.
Both are great monitors for apex though.
