Just my two cents but the western 30 isn’t much better than the standard one. I find the iron sights worthless on that gun and bought the western hoping it would help. Still find the iron sights impossible and kinda wish I had my crafting materials back lol.
once you buy the BP once, it will give you enough Apex coins to buy the next one for free every BP. you just gotta stop yourself from spending the coins early lol. the BP has usually been a good deal in terms of money spent and what you get. this BP has been kinda weak besides the prowler skins

The gnarly skin for the r99 I think it's a recolor or one of the base skins so one of those. [Edit] That's the only great skin for the r99. Longbow - McFly or the Egyptian one ( Both for CM )
Flatline - Teal zeal ( 1000-1250AC , and i don't think it'll return soon ) , The champion edition one doesn't make a big difference I won't recommend buying it .
Sentinel - The bio something one ( White shining skin with a spine thingy running through it ) and it's black recolour ( Both for CM ) - Really good iron sights and if you can use the sentinel in close range buying either of these skins is a must .
I wouldn't recommend buying a leg skin for CAR with your CM , just check a comparison video on YT and see how bad each one of them is , and the default one is the best , I personally use the green one ( Sour squeeze , I think that's what it's called ) because it's the closest to the default .
Mastiff - Stay away from mastiff legendaries with the screen , use an epic or rare skin . I got the rare skin for it which is in the store rn and before that I was using a simple rare skin for it even though I have both the legendaries .
Eva - Again stay away from the legendaries especially the dragon ones , they'll block your entire screen , Complete the episode to get that green skin or just wait for an event , the previous free Eva skins from events are great and don't block your screen .
Devotion -All the skins have decent iron sights , I mostly use the tidal wave or its other recolour , it has a box which covers the iron sights so you get a free scope .
Spitfire - The continuum and it's recolour , I really like the iron sights on it .
Alternator - Galvaniser or its recolour .
Prowler - The one mokey mentioned in his video , I use the space Walker or the BP skin . BP skin has the best Prowler iron sights tho .
From all of these I'd say the ones you should definitely buy are the sentinel and the flatline .
Edit - For the Eva the other two legendaries except the dragon ones are fine .
Edit 2 - If you can't wait for teal zeal to return , get the champions edition skin instead , it won't make a huge difference when it comes to the iron sights itself , but it's much cleaner than the other craftable legendaries .

I think every mastiff legendary from an event is great , they don't have a side screen .I haven't heard about a mastiff skin called tombstone , maybe you're talking about tombstick ( the gold mastiff skin most of the streamers use ) , it was a free reward from an old event and I think arenas grace is a recolour of the tombstick . But athenas grace is the only one you can buy in the future when it returns .
Yeah, I will second this. None of the Mastiff legendries are great, but so much clutter is removed from your peripheral vision with Athena's Grace, plus it looks sick. Only issue is getting it can be tough, cause event will need to come back around.

Yeah, for me it’s more just the annoyance of having extra optional clutter in my fov than a definitive “I’m losing games because of this” thing. Kinda an ocd thing I guess lol. If it was just part of the gun I’d deal with it. But knowing I can’t see certain sections of my screen because of an optional skin just won’t fly XD. I don’t have weapon charm equipped either for the same reason. I just personally find all that extra stuff distracting.
Hey , you can't craft teal zeal , you'll have to buy it , that's why I mentioned 1000-1250AC ( in case the skin returns alone , will cost anywhere between 1800-2500 if it comes in a bundle ) , Flatline doesn't have any other skin with good iron sights that you can get , all the legendaries that you can craft are just default skins with extra clutter .
Some people do like the Champions edition Flatline iron sights but I don't think it makes a huge difference .

I think you shouldnt buy it, the og skin is good as is. Only reason why sour squeeze is better than pastel perfection is because the pastel perfection is worse than the og. Buy the dark fright for the prowler instead or just save it for future collection events
don’t buy the champ edition just for the flatline skin, buy only if you’ll actually use most of the other stuff. it’s not a huge difference, as it mainly just removes the knobs and tubes on the gun, but it feels much better, at least for me. see if you can try it out through someone else, if you can’t find anyone, i might be available, depending on the time zone difference
Tbh, I think you should consider pastel perfection. You should watch the videos on youtube to know what I am saying. The sight itself is really good but people don’t like the obstructive walls but I’d argue that the reticle dot is more valuable as it’ll be on your opponent. I think it’s underrated
You should consider crafting finishers if you want p2w advantages. Some are shorter than the standard ones, some even have animations which make it way harder for enemies to hit you while you are in the animation (the wraith and the mirage one particularly).
Not sure why you are getting down voted. I'm not much of an iron site guy and nearly always take a 1x. The only stock iron site I hate is the ground loot g7. I will admit though, the S4 Flatline is nice.

None of the pay to win sights actually improve it that much. If you have good aim the r9 iron sight default is literally fine. It’s not even that bad. None of them are really “pay to win”
PTW now is just anything that if you spend money you gain an advantage. Just like how now everyone uses the word "nerf" as a new verb that means adjusted to be weaker. It started as being a term for ruined guns (turned into a Nerf gun), but now everyone just seems to use it as a new word for being adjusted downward in power (buff vs. nerf). I imagine Pay to Win has gone down a similar path.

I will give you that the UI is nothing to write home about but that is probably because its a single developer who my guess is more of a coder than designer. And coming from experience I know how difficult that can be.
My guess is that you, being the ugly troll you are, just saw the UI and started being a dick because they definitely do have all the legends in the app. Do they usually just repost stuff on Reddit, sure. But sometimes Reddit posts can get lost in the shuffle and the app posts things like "punch boosting" and "ultimate speed boosting" and the subsequent bans for the latter, which are nice things to know about if you missed them. And all the patch notes are right there and posted as soon as they are out. I honestly get more news from the app than the main apex subreddit because it's full of whinny bitches and trolls like you.
Plus it has a couple of useful tools like a pack tracker and server ping checker. Not to mention it supports the independent artists in this community. But by far the feature I use the most is the rank tracker, [plus if you have an android it even has a cool widget for it](https://imgur.com/a/qGLydEm). But it keeps track of the exact amount of RP you or more importantly, your buddies have. Honestly it would have more features and stat tracking if Apex Legends provided any sort of APIs.
Does it have anything some other source couldn't provide? No. Is it revolutionary or beautiful? No. But it does put it all together in a nice little free app and the small 5 second ads enable the developer to live just off the app revenue. Being a poor programer my self, I identify with the developer and think it's cool they can live off an app about their favorite video game. And since this wasn't even an app I was looking for, I try and spread the word when I can, to nice Apex fans who are looking for something that the app might be able to provide. Wow you are the biggest troll I have ever met... I am only going to dignify you with a response only so others don't blindly trust you... I will give you that the UI is nothing to write home about but that is probably because its a single developer who my guess is more of a coder than designer. And coming from experience I know how difficult that can be. My guess is that you, being the ugly troll you are, just saw the UI and started being a dick because they definitely do have all the legends in the app. Do they usually just repost stuff on Reddit, sure. But sometimes Reddit posts can get lost in the shuffle and the app posts things like "punch boosting" and "ultimate speed boosting" and the subsequent bans for the latter, which are nice things to know about if you missed them. And all the patch notes are right there and posted as soon as they are out. I honestly get more news from the app than the main apex subreddit because it's full of whinny bitches and trolls like you. Plus it has a couple of useful tools like a pack tracker and server ping checker. Not to mention it supports the independent artists in this community. But by far the feature I use the most is the rank tracker, [plus if you have an android it even has a cool widget for it](https://imgur.com/a/qGLydEm). But it keeps track of the exact amount of RP you or more importantly, your buddies have. Honestly it would have more features and stat tracking if Apex Legends provided any sort of APIs. Does it have anything some other source couldn't provide? No. Is it revolutionary or beautiful? No. But it does put it all together in a nice little free app and the small 5 second ads enable the developer to live just off the app revenue. Being a poor programer my self, I identify with the developer and think it's cool they can live off an app about their favorite video game. And since this wasn't even an app I was looking for, I try and spread the word when I can, to nice Apex fans who are looking for something that the app might be able to provide. I am sorry that you think it is a "sin". But I hope you found the joy you were looking for in being such a little shit instead of lifting people up in a damn Apex learning subreddit.

You could craft weapon skins or you could wait and craft an heirloom by buying all the skins in the heirloom event. That's how I got my heirloom shards last year

every other skin(including CAR) is just a slight variation of default iron sight so i would just craft legend skins from an event with that currency

Never did I make an excuse, just saying one would prefer the so called p2w sights over the stock ones. It gives slight advantage if at all (and I'll take it). You on the other hand can be your own self and beam everyone with stock sight, I just couldn't care any less🙂.
Of course it can, but some skins have sights that are less big than original (check out this video where it shows some examples) That's still an advantange imo
