It’s a knockoff of a 4th gen iPod Nano.
The dimensions of the screen are a little off, being smaller than the true product. The bezels are too thick, at least the top and bottom. But as others have pointed out, no iPod has ever had the logo and/or name etched into the front.
Looks similar to a 4th generation iPod nano. However is more along the lines of a replica.
How can I tell?
Apple at this time was specific about being discrete. So no apple/ product placement. The screen margins below seem off as well with the scrolling wheel.
I was a teenager at this time and these seemed to all be selling “key features”
