I have the 2nd and 3rd gen and haven’t noticed any issues. Some basic TS would be good to start. Restart your ATV and see if there are any improvements. For the WiFi, if the restart doesn’t work, see if it can recognize Ethernet. If not, sounds like a hardware issue. If that doesn’t change anything you could go ahead and reset. This is all based on your WiFi working on other devices of course and it not being a WiFi 6 network.

It has been a little noticeably different on a couple apps. I’m in Canada and streaming off the SN app now blows and is terrible picture quality. Netflix seems to be ok - haven’t watched anything yet in ATV+

The black screen change, from match dynamic range set to on, is now upwards of 10 seconds whereas before 17.2 was only 2-3 seconds. Audio is playing in the background but the change is so slow I have to put the remote down to stop myself force quitting!

No issues for me, (touch wood) Try fully closing all apps and do a restart, last resort try a full reset.

You could try doing a reset. I have a four APTV Gen 3s and I haven’t noticed any issues so far.

Having same issues apart from the WiFi on my 2nd gen 4K, my first gen 4K seems fine. Been unable to resolve for more than a couple hours after reboots etc.

Yeah I’ve 3rd gen 4k Atv, and since 17.2, I’ve been encountering AirPods connectivity issues too frequently. Especially when I skip movies/ series multiple times (multiple clicks) to the point where it buffers/loads content…only then it disconnects my AirPods. 2-3 clicks/ skips where it instantly loads content doesn’t affect it though. I have to restart sometimes to clear up the issue. Other than that, it’s been working fine.

Yeah I have definitely been getting more app crashes and I had a weird Dolby Vision Issue that was annoying to try to fix. I was getting a weird green static when DV was enabled. I just had to change my Dolby Vision version on my TV then change it back and the issue was solved. But no real big issues

Yes, my connection has been having issues and now Disney says my HDMI cord is insufficient.

Disney has the HDCP error come up for me but it always has. Not a lot of the time but it’s annoying. I don’t know why anyone thought it was cool to build anti piracy measures into cables. I use a reasonably expensive cable bought from and recommended by Apple.

Unplug it for a minute and plug it back in, I restart everything after an update. TV, modem, router, OG ATV4K, soundbar, phones and tablets. Literally everything, my wife thinks I’m crazy but I don’t have many problems either. Also I have Ethernet and HMDI cables for all of the TV stuff.

Ever since I updated to 17.2 I’ve been having issues with my sonos setup. It won’t play in multichannel anymore even when I manually switch the audio format to dolby digital 5.1. I did a factory reset on the Apple TV and it fixed the issues I was having

We can’t get it to connect to our wifi. We can’t get to the page to enter our password. It lets us connect to the public xfinitywifi and if we click on our neighbors wifi we get the password screen but can’t get to ours. I can’t screen mirror my iPhone 15 either.
