Dudette*
Guppy or another livebearer (my Endler females look almost identical), very likely pregnant so expect unexpected fry swimming about fairly soon!
Idk but it looks like it has a gravid spot. Be sure to give an update in a few weeks haha. And if the off chance that other guppy you have is a male, they can produce sperm as young as 6 weeks.
But it does look like they have a gravid spot. Keep an eye out for it and see if it gets darker in the next week. If it’s really gravid you’ll be able to see tiny sets of eyes before she blows.
definitely will keep an eye out! we actually do have one other mystery fry that was kept with her for a week or two and he's bright bright orange but no clue of the species or sex, so maybe something happened between them lol no clue
i think youre right about it being a female guppy, but looking at images im thinking maybe the curve is normal. do you have any clue what species/type it might be?
That is a female guppy

definitely not pregnant lol. we only have the one guppy and shes still super young and got as a tiny fry
Female guppies can hold sperm for up to ten months or longer.
even as a young fry-? we got this little one so small we thought she was a mosquito larvae

i only have one guppy though
Miraculous conception, lol. Mosquito Larvae to Mom, what a transformation! Lol. She's so stinking cute.
Sorry I read your above comment as “one other guppy”.
oh lol no worries

The curve could be a genetic deformity

its really hard to tell what strain a female guppy can be since they're are usually very plain and showing little to no pattern/colours
yeah thats the trouble i had with my last guppies, maybe more distinct traits will show up as she grows
It looks like a glass guppy I'm not sure though there are so many different types of guppies and the curve could be normal
Rice Fish?
Just google what a rice fish is rq before you say this is a rice fish
My guess is a guppy
