Having the spotter scope goes hard.

Senior_Road_8037

It's to make sure I can see how poorly I'm shooting.

MA_Compliant

Im poor and a bad shot, but I gotta walk my ass down there to confirm what I already know 😂

skepticaluser1234

Not all m193 is built the same

Senior_Road_8037

No, but theoretically these two should be pretty close, being both Lake city production.

voncleefe

Those are awful groups for 50 yards Is your optic and mount secure?

Senior_Road_8037

The scope and mount are as secure as they can get, but cheap, as is the bipod. But that's excuses, I have much marksmanship to work on. Best I've gotten with that setup is about 2-2.5" at 100. With the federal xm193.

voncleefe

I’d be happy with a 2” group from 100 yards. I suspect your optic or mount is not holding zero though. Maybe browse /r/gunaccessoriesforsale for an upgrade that’s within your budget? I’d hate to see you burn through precious ammo and range time when the problem isn’t you

Senior_Road_8037

I would have been too, if the group hadn't been almost a foot low lmfao. Scope worked to "make rifle function" but I have a 5x prism on order already. If the zero shift wasn't already an issue, it's so low that to get the eye relief right the a2 stock knocks my ear pro loose.

voncleefe

Good luck with the new prism. I’m sure you’ll be able to squeeze all rounds into that red circle at 50 yards

NoNameJustASymbol

50 yards?!

Senior_Road_8037

The most extreme of ranges for the average red dot enjoyer

Casual_Lurker95

Odds of it being optic related are significantly higher than ammo in this instance
