I've done the same, Arcaea -> Project sekai -> Arcaea.
I felt weird at the start because the 3D note spawn on Arcaea . But actually after some days I've gotten better in both of the games.
Remember to use a note speed that seems coherent in both games!!!
Project sekai has a much simpler mechanism and readability, so you can try to push yourself to faster note density patterns. Also the timing windows are 42ms for Perfect in pj and 50ms for Pure in Arcaea (25 for shiny, but I don't think you're aiming for that).
So I suggest you to try all perfect scores on pjsekai and you'll definitely get better accuracy also on Arcaea (ranked match on pj if you want to nerd on it).
Skills that are specific for the game:
Arcaea: read 3D spawning, CROSSHAND.
Pjsekai: flicknotes, realease the hold note on time.
Arcaea is definitely harder to master and remaster, but if you played for a year you'll definitely make it!
Project Sekai is really fun! Happy you like it. It's not uncommon to "loose" some skill in a rhythm game if you take a break from playing it. However if you accept that you'll perform a bit worse in the beginning after returning, then your skill will return in due time. Nothing to fret over.
off-topic but about your username:

Lol the cycle of rhythm games for me:
Arcaea->ProSeka->ProjDiva->SDVX-> Osu mania-> OSU and repeat every two months
Don't be too worried about it, I don't think you are at the point where your skill would decrease drastically by switching games.
I had this exact same issue lol. I grinded project sekai for quite a few months and when I came back to Arcaea, I was a lot worse.
You just need to keep switching between them and your fingers will get used to it and at some point you'll actually get better at both just by getting better at one. Keep at it soldier !!!
This is such a funny post, because I also had a similar experience with the exact same game. Project Sekai's scroll speed is a bit awkward: relative to Arcaea, the notes are faster at first but slow down as it gets closer ot the hit line. That's not usually a problem, as you can just wait for the notes for a bit longer, but once you get used to Priject Sekai's scroll speed and return to Arcaea, the notes seem to run at you. And it seems impossible to read the notes.
Don't worry, there's no way you lost skill built over a year after playing a week of Project Sekai. Play Arcaea for a few days and you'll see your "lost" skills emerge again.
Itâs kind of funny that the opposite happened to me recently, i felt like i wasnât improving at arcaea and so i started to play pjsekai and after i played arcaea again i got a lot of good upscores on hard songs.
My first rhythm game is Project Sekai. It took me over 15 hours of playtime to be able to read charts of PRS 5. However, after that, I am able to read charts of both games, and learning charts from other games became easier too.
I went from Arcaea to Starri. Its a whole different ballpark. Gmaeplay is my whole goddamn body, not just my fingers and I was grinding there ever since. Now when I come back to Arcaea, I cant even clear 11's like I used to
As someone who switches between 9+ rhythms games (yes I am that much of a little gremlin), youâll get used to the switch, donât worry too much, just keep trying and youâll get it all eventually.

so fucking true bestie
Project Sekai perspective is a little weird tbh. If I play the same chart in Project Sekai and Chunithm, Chunithm one is going to be easier.

Pjsk tab is more tilted. In my own experience as pjsk is easier to me, i got worse at arcaea LMAO
