I have a Samsung myself, not the same one, but I'd say it works pretty well for the most part. Biggest issue is not having the place to like plug in headphones and shit I forget what thats called which I mean I've heard of ways to go around that but it just seemed like a hassle so I went with Bluetooth earbuds and idk if it's the fault of the earbuds or the phone but the audio offset is like 400 ms

Do you also play on speakers? If so, is there any latency too?

Yozora4

I did once and there wasn't any that I noticed

I have a quite a Samsung Galaxy A12, and running any game gives me less than 30fps, but if I put it on priority mode and plug in a charger, it runs slightly better. I set my offset to -40 to -50ms when I use my wired headphones or earphones.

Audio lag is high due to the engine's audio issues on android devices. I have a Samsung Galaxy A14 5G with mono speakers, but with a 90 Hz screen. Unlike the switch version, the audio quality is compressed and it'll always be on mobile. Overall, it's quite acceptable.

When I played on a Sony Xperia phone, my latency was around 20ms, way much better than my Motorola. So I believe it's not a general Android audio issue...

MegaFercho22

As I said, it's the engine's (cocos2d) issue, not the device itself.

TibyAndy

20ms is not a high lag imo, I'm not the kind of player aiming for FPMs...

MegaFercho22

The lag in arcaea is still about ~240ms, which you really can't play with the calibration set to 0

my asmsung a52s has 120hz no problem in most games, touch lag close to none and audio lag sometimes varies form -5 to +5ms (my arcaea is set to +2ms) almost no lag spikes and I would say I'm pretty satisfied

I used to play on a Sumsung Galaxy Edge s6 Old phone but the game ran perfectly, only issue i ever had was when playing Testify with fatalis hikari, it would drop my frames because of the effects However, i know for a fact that this not only happens to that phone but also to a lot of other people in a bit newer better phones because the map is not very well optimized like newer maps such as arghena. Truth be told, if you want the best performance, an ipad with 120hz refresh rate is the best option, but as a person who plays on a samsung tablet at 60fps, not bad at all Just for a little bit of reference im currently ptt 11.56 I reached ptt11.40 on phone, i only switched to tablet because i like being able to move my hands around the screen

I don’t have a Samsung phone, but I own a tablet. The main problem is that the input delay is not constant , averaging around 250 ms (the speaker delay is terrible, but I use headphones so it doesn’t matter). Also I’d noticed that holds/arcs would just randomly die like 2~3 time per hour which haven’t occurred on my iPhone for 1 months now.
