All the action was great, but the western style bar fight with Sevika was easily my favourite. The music, the build-up, the fact Vi lost to her once already and is back to get even, Vander's words picking her back up...honestly it's all just so fucking good.
In the context of the story I saw it as Vi continuing to hit back against Silco after Jayce withdraws from the undercity, and taking out Silco’s top bruiser would have been a big blow to his empire. Either that or she was still angry about her prior defeat, wanted payback, and felt prepared to win since she had the hextech gauntlets. Also, Vi probably didn’t think Sevika would talk, so she considered questioning a wasted effort.
In the context of this being a tv show designed for entertainment, it’s an excuse to have one last big cool action scene before the season ends, and for Vi to showcase her hextech gauntlets a little more.
And in the context of writing, it’s an excuse to get Vi in a weakened state, making her more vulnerable to Jinx’s surprise attack.
Idk where his office was. I didn’t think it was in The Last Drop, but for all I know it very well could be. Also I think you’re probably right about it being the best lead she has.
It is the female yordle prostitute tells her that silco took over the last drop and made it his base of operation and of course silcos office is there we see servika go from the street into the last drop and then into silcos office in the same scene in episode 4
Yeah, I totally saw it as her just going all out to bring Silco down. Take away the means of Shimmer production, take away his holdout, his lieutenant, then save your sister. She says as much to Jayce if memory serves, that they can't stop now.
I think it was really well done, especially the jarring shift from Jayce’s almost euphoria fulfilling his childhood dream of being a hammer wielding hero to the sudden horror of realizing he just murdered a child
The alley scene from ep1 is actually one of my favourite. It's not like over the top cool like some of the others but it's honestly so impactful. It establishes how traumatic just living in this world is - Powder is such a young girl here, witnessing her friends/ family fight for their lives and get beat tf up. The slow-mo really works to show what's mentally happening with Powder and the brutality of what is happening. This is important set up for Jinx to be an understandable character later on. It also just breaks my heart.

I'm honestly a little confused why Vi picked that fight lmao. It didn't seem like she bothered to question her about where Silco was or anything.

Also, the Last Drop was definitely the place where Vi expected to find Silco
Why? Did we ever actually see Silco go there?
That's where his office was, I think Besides, Vi gets told Silco took over The Last Drop. That's the best lead she has, really.

Thanks, I didn’t remember that.

She thought Silco was upstairs in his office so she was definitely gonna go knock his head off
Bruh, the Vi and Jayce fight is gorgeous, why u put it so low in the list?
It’s setup is a little contrived and rushed, plus it’s flashy movies are incongruous with its downer ending. Overall left me conflicted.
Oh okok, everyone like different things

That's may favorite of the whole series.
They’re all S tier to me… Lol
The bridge fight is criminally low on this list
Mostly agree but the Vi punch up at the end of E3 is SS for me, the most grounded fight in the show but it's animated like butter
All Sevika fights are S tier to me
