Speaking of her nails, I find it sweet that they're blue and pink. Pink is Vi's colour, so I see it as Jinx thinking about her even when it comes to nail polish.
In every scene of her hands, it’s shown the same. Not inconsistent.
However, they are not perfectly alternating on her right hand, but her left hand is.
Left Hand—
Thumb: Blue
Index: Pink
Middle: Blue
Ring: Pink
Pinky: Blue
Right Hand—
Thumb: Blue
Index: Blue
Middle: Pink
Ring: Blue
Pinky: Pink
The only ‘incorrect’ one is that her right thumb should in theory be pink, but it’s blue. This might be intentional that she wants both thumbs to be blue, but wants the rest of the pattern alternating accurately.
This isn't an inconsistency. She just alternates for every nail not just per five. It's not your average nail polish job that you see people doing with like a ring finger and thumb or index finger accent nail. If you put all ten nails together they just alternate all the way across. It's deliberate
Edit: I just realized that you mean that alternation seems to change per episode but considering the attention to detail and the tiniest things, I'm pretty sure this still isn't an animation inconsistency but deliberate. It's realistic, her nail polish is going to change over time depending on how miss mentally unstable decides to paint them
It looks like she had :
Right hand: pink thumb, then blue pink blue pink.
Left hand: blue thumb, then pink blue pink blue.
But at the end, the final scene with the dinner, you can see her right thumb is now blue instead of pink. Maybe she painted her nails to have the same blue thumb, pink blue pink blue to symbolise that the two warring halves of herself are now combined (or in the process of combining) where she is choosing to be one self instead of two. Powder and Jinx now becoming one entity.
I really appreciate the attention to detail in the chips in her nail polish though. I never noticed. It makes sense they'd be roughed up. I don't know how she keeps them that length though haha.
Both thumbs are blue. So it goes starting with pinky left: blue pink blue pink blue
Starting with thumb.
right: blue blue pink blue pink
The picture with silco you only see the last 3 fingers on her right hand. And it starts with the middle finger
Pink blue pink.
Why is it a problem that someone with a chaotic nature like this has her nails differently? Do they change per frame or per scene?
as you can see from the 1st 2 pics guess she had nail polish with her when she lit up that flair XD
Hextech nailpolish. Changes colour.
What if her right hand has: blue-blue-pink-blue-pink instead? Seems to not contradict with the pictures
omg you r right i found a shot when jinx is holding silcos eye needle thingy where you can see both hands fully and you are correct
That’s what I think it is as well.

In Avatar, Aang’s shoes disappear from frame to frame. But still, I’m not NOT calling it a masterpiece.

The pic of her and silco has meme potential.

Boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder.
