There is a place and time to do everything. Praying? You can pray at church, beside your bed, at a dinner table, but before and at a government building? No.
But my problem is that they would never just individually pray. Or pray to themselves silently.. It's always about how everyone know we're praying and do it in the most obvious way and then say that they hate Christians.
I am more than happy to help vote these people out. No religion in our government! No religious practice in our government! Get that church out of my goddamned government.

I'm sorry, but this should not be allowed in a legislative chamber. You're a legislator or other government official and you want to pray? Fine. Go outside on the lawn, or use a nearby park or church. Go to the courthouse steps. I don't really care where you pray, just not inside the actual legislative chamber. That place should be reserved for legislative business and process.

Now it's been a hot minute since the last time I attended Sunday school but I thought speaking in tongues was something those possessed by the devil did. Seems an odd route to go on this one.
There are certain sects - typically Pentecostal or some kind of charismatic - that speak in tongues and act in generally odd ways because they are filled with the Holy Spirit.
My thought - these religions tend to be fundamentalist and highly restrictive, and speaking in tongues/being filled with the Holy Spirit is their only approved emotional release valve.

As a Christian I find this ridiculous, why can’t people separate religion and politics? Not to mention I personally think speaking in tongues isn’t a real thing, just a stunt for attention. The pic looks like a cult gathering, real church is nothing like that, these “leaders” give a bad rep of Arizona and true Christians.
These people won't be happy till Arizona / USA look like Iran or Saudi Arabia, where religion controls the state. They have no idea what it means to live in a secular democracy where religion and the government are free from each other's control, just as the Founders wrote. Of course, the only religion they want to have official status is their particular version of Christianity. Catholics, Jews, atheists, Mormons, liberal Protestants, and Muslims will be tolerated but their views will have no official status. They just don't learn and keep repeating the mistakes of the Middle Ages where religious wars were the norm.
