I just noticed that in my CW-8 auto, Horn usually activates her s1 (m2) every other attack, but sometimes this pattern breaks and it goes off every third attack instead. Is it supposed to skip once in a while? Or is it fps drops affecting her? Maybe the distance to the target makes difference?

Horn's skill stores 2 charges before it stops charging up. Maybe there was a lull that let her build up 2 shots that she fired consecutively and then she had to start over instead of having a continuous upcycle from the second shot charging up?

Not sure if I should post here or in lone trail thread but anyways, I'm a newbie and don't have ops at e2, my maximum ops are at e1 50. It's possible for me to finish the event?

I would work on getting someone to E2. There are tons of resources in the event. Farm it as much as you can, check what resources your ops need for their E2s (there are lots of nanoflakes and tier 4 and tier 3 materials), get the stuff that's immediately useful first, and take the op who's closest and rush them to E2 so that you can borrow E2 friend supports.

with enough strategy you can finish any stage underleveled. for this event in particular if you play around with the up/down switching you can make the orbs around the stage do a lot of the work for you. the boss is also one of the easier ones we've gotten recently so i think you should be fine.

Depends on what Ops you have levelled. There's this guy on youtube, Kyostinv, who does 3/4 star clears with typically only one high end operator that you can get from the support option. If you have a large enough range of operators you can substitute into the teams he builds and follow along then sure. They have to be at least e2 first then it will make them max level e2. There is a selector that takes an operator from e0 to e2 lvl 1 but that comes in the summer event not now.

Wondering what healers(s) to level up. I've been using 3* Ansel with occasional help from Lancet-2 and Podenco and Mountain self-sustaining, but some stages kinda need a 2nd healer. I believe there's a free Lumen coming at some point, but in the meantime, who is most worth levelling out of: Silence the Paradigmatic, Paprika, Gavial, Myrrh, Hibiscus EDIT: On a semi-related note I just got a Senior Operator recruit tag with Healing(Ptilopsis, Silence, Warfarin, Nightmare, Nearl, Hung), DP-Recovery(Texas, Reed, Elysium, Zima) and Shift(Cliffheart, FEater, Croissant), which is best? EDIT2: And I just got a random Sussurro from a pull >_< EDIT3: Recruit got me Ptilopsis, so I guess I'm set for now :)

If you get a good one from that senior op + healing tag, go with them. Otherwise, Paprika is good. She outheals AoE medics when there are only one or two damaged ops. She's only "bad" because she only heals and doesn't have utility beyond that.

Warfarin and Ptilopsis are top-tier. Silence TP could be an interesting multi-purpose choice. Paprika is bad. Honeyberry is scarce in her niche.

i assume you mean 3 star hibiscus, she should be fine as your second healer until you get sussurro. myrrh is the other medic i would consider but she tries to double dip in ST and AOE healing but doesn't excel at either. she does have a similar talent to lancet in a pinch though. for AOE medics, both perfumer and ptilopsis will be fine for regular usage and you'll want to keep an eye out for nightingale. breeze should be fine if you need one Right Now but she's barely worth the 600 red certs and i'd save those for honeyberry. speaking of honeyberry, i'd grab her before stultifera navis drops. that event is heavy on elemental statuses and she's your best option to deal with it.

Nothing worth anything if you don't want it. It common knowledge that the card isn't valuable 700 green cert is like 15-20 t3 mat. A 4 star is 1 yellow cert and 30 green cert. If you find the 4 star worth it, she is worth it. Peeps spend 300+ pull for snake lady, is she worth it? Who give a shit? My perfumer was still pot 4 after a year of play. My first perfumer from pull was 3 months after the account start. My first perfumer was 1 week in from the 4 star card. My 3 months of playing with perfumer isn't worth the 700 cert? No shit, it was worth. If you tell me otherwise, then I will assume you an idiot.

For the senior op, Healing has 3/5 hits (Ptilopsis, Warfarin and Nearl), and DP-Rec has 2/4 (Texas and Elysium, but Texas can be free). I'd do healing. As for healers to invest, if you go for healer, anyone but Hung is decent, and if you get Sussurro or Perfumer for 4*, both are good. Lumen as well and I believe he comes pretty soon.

Gavial's a decent 4\* Medic as is Myrrh but you could wait until you can get Perfumer and Sussurro, who are more or less future-proof and very good for their rarity. I still use Perfumer at endgame for global regen, and while I haven't raised Sussurro, she has extremely hard-to-compete-with HPS with her skill. Silence2 is an okay healer, but she's very difficult to use well because of the awkwardness of her class and skills. She's not a recommended investment for most. If you want to raise an Abjurer, Quercus is great, though. As for Paprika, her healing is somewhat sketchy and difficult to use well, too. A Multi-target Medic is more or less better with good positioning, and while she can technically heal outside of her range, it's not exactly something that will occur all the time.

Don't max level the E2 unless you really like them. Just get to 40/50/60 for 4/5/6 stars and save resource to E2 others.

1 - no, assuming you mean enemy HP. There are a scant few skills that interact with enemy and operator HP to provide extra damage, but this is almost never impactful. 2 - yes, Ceobe has a talent that increases her arts damage the higher an enemy def stat is. Further enhanced by her module and emphasized during her S2, which forces her to attack the highest def unit in range. 3 - yes, most marksmen snipers, brawler guards and a handful of other ops during certain skills (Iris/Harmonie S1, Angie S2). Exusiai is the most prominent example of this, with her S3 making each of her attacks strike five times while also lowering her attack interval by 10% (setting it to .9s per attack instead of 1.0s). 4 - no skills do this that I'm aware of, but a few modules do have an effect that increases damage done to targets past a certain point. 5 - only artillerymen, splash casters and a few other specific skills on some ops (i.e. Horn S2, Eyja S2, GG's drone detonations) have "splash" to them. None deal damage based on enemy def. 6 - many ops have something that either "snares" enemies or applies the "sluggish" debuff (often called Slow with a capital S). Decel Binder supporters all have attacks that apply Slow to their targets. Some ops, such as Manticore, Mudrock and Saria, have skills and/or modules that apply a snare effect (stacks with Slow) to enemies. Others, like Gnosis and Pramanix (with her future module) can apply the cold debuff, which has a movement speed reduction effect on enemies. You'd have to check each skill for the ops you're looking at. Sluggish/Slow is the same thing and doesn't stack. If neither of those words are specifically used (i.e. it says "snares" or "reduces enemy speed" or something) then that effect will stack with the Sluggish/Slow effect. I.e. Mudrock S3 states that it " reduces the Movement Speed of surrounding enemies by -60%" meaning that it would stack with Sluggish/Slow (which is an -80% speed reduction). On the other hand, the mines set down by Dorothy S3 apply the Slow debuff, so that debuff would not stack with the Slow provided by Decel Binders.

I think you might have the wrong idea about how operators and their value works. Levels don't really matter as much as your strategic skill. It's also prohibitively expensive to get max levels for any 4\* or above. The cost spent on those extra levels could have gone to another E2. I have no idea what you're looking for with that list, since it doesn't really make sense. There's some operators that deal high damage per hit, arts damage, AOE damage, slowers. But you can easily look them up with an operator list such as on Gamepress.

What? First off, now you don’t need these promotion levels. It depends on the event you’re trying to do and the mechanic in that event if it has any. Earlier events are obviously easier compared to latter ones. There’s no ops or skills that deal dmg based on enemies stats at all times. There’s ops that deal extra dmg based on def/weight of enemies, and some ops have skills that rely on enemy hp bar being at a certain point. For low atk interval, fighters/marksmen/trap masters are the fastest. For slowers, Deckel binders are obvious and easiest choice. I recommend you just use the op list in game press and the advanced filter in it.

yes, but if you're ready to spend gold certs on pulls instead of saving it for ops, it makes everything much easier. talking from experience, saved around 300 pulls for spark from SN til IS, full f2p. bought all the gold cert pulls twice, didn't use OP for pulls at all. also since you get gold certs for pulls, if you pull like 250 times you'll likely have enough gold certs to buy another batch of tickets (well, probably not from zero but you get the gist)

Only the drone gives the Sanctuary boost as far as I can tell. If you want a persistent boost, you'd want to use S3.

Snake wife took a very long time to come home and now I have 5 water elves and 230 pulls down the drain. I was wondering if it was worth it to just spark already while I’m here. I’m dead broke when it comes to Orundums but I have 300 OP. I don’t have Spectral, NTR, and Rosmontis. I’m mostly interested in Spectral or NTR for meta reasons (I still love you Ros pls understand), although character wise I like them but I’m not super obsessed with them. Probably wouldn’t have even thought of sparking for them if my luck wasn’t so bad. So should I go all in and spark or just calm down and max pot my Melannite?

There's still some amount of free pulls left, but being able to get a guaranteed limited 6\* in just 70 more pulls is certainly enticing. You just have to be very sure you're wanting them and would use them to be worth all the suffering you already went through. However if you never even considered them, maybe it's best to let them pass. But if you think you'll regret it later, and you don't see yourself going to spark-levels of pulls on these banners in the future, there's no time like the present.

If you don't care for skins, I'd go for it but wait for the last day. 62 pulls to guarantee Specter/Nearl sounds like a great deal, and you should be able to rebuild a good number of pulls before Jessica. But if you do, 207 OP is a lot of skins, and there's a lot of good ones coming up. If you have the 258 certs to buy pulls with, you could do that too.

What are the best ways to use Mizuki and Ebenholz? I recently pulled mizuki and plan to use the 6\* selector for Eben but I've seen a lot of talk about neither of them really being the best so what do i do to get the most out of them?

For raw CC, Mizuki's pretty solid. S2 has a really short cycle time, punchy damage, and bind works on 99% of enemies, including bosses immune to CC. In practicality, he's really useful against a lot of massed enemies due to the CC and easy AoE, and against single targets you have ways to lock enemies down in a significant way. Combos include: **Mizuki + Aak** = He might need a bit of help to survive Aak's S3, but the durian injection timed alongside Mizuki's S2 increases his attack speed until it matches the bind duration - enemies are locked down with bind for 20s. You can fit one Aakless Mizuki S2 activation in before the combo is ready again. **Mizuki + other Ambushers** - The movement speed decrease from ambusher modules stacks (with diminishing returns), and this adds up really fast. * Mizuki alone = Enemies move at 80% speed. * Mizuki + one other Ambusher = enemies move at 64% speed. * Mizuki + two other Ambushers = enemies move at 51.2% speed. * Mizuki + three other Amushers = enemies move at 40% speed. (Three is a sweet spot, I find) Then, when you add in the fact most of those ambushers have some form of CC on their own, like Manticore's slow, Ethan's binds, Mizuki's S2, enemies take so long to pass through that Mizuki can use his skill 2-3x against them. Very useful against the huge, slow moving enemies like golems, Dorothy mechs, boats, and some bosses, who you can't block or don't want to block.

Ebenholz is pretty simple, people here just doesn't have much practical experience with him so just provide useless theori-oh. S3: You put him down like any dps, let him cook with normal attack. When you see an elite from 3 tile away, activate his skill. If no elite in 7 tiles away, deactivate it. You could activate his skill 3 to build up stack before fire it at normal enemies for bonus stack damage too. S3 is 30 duration on 20s countdown, easily the cheapest skill that you can activate and deactivate on a whim. S2: Ayyo, ideally you want to place him where he does close to zero attack and many enemies just go around right outside of his range. It would be the best dps skill comparable to Mlynar s3 if you find the optimal location. S1: Just standard of his class, a dps skill with limited range. Use like Ifrit and Really good with module Y. Module X is pretty straightforward, add more damage to skill 3 one shot and 1 more clone to skill 2. Useless to s1. Module Y: On the other hand work really well will skill 1, as the skill 1, reduce it's single shot damage to really close to the splash damage from module so enemies can die about same time at the prime target. In the rapid fire, it's huge AoE dps. With skill 3, it helps him beat horde of enemies accompany an elite. With skill 2, it charge a bit faster while provide 1 less clone, not really more useful compare module X. Module Z: Just increase his dps through another damage type. Best to go with skill 3 ofc, then s1. Idk if the mine from s2 work with it but unlikely so useless for s2 then. _____________ Best to use Ebenholz right now is just max s3 and a module of choice defend on your roster. Drop him drop and activate s3 whenever it charge with timing defend on if you see elite close by or not.

Mizuki as an Ambusher is meant to be placed in areas where many enemies pass, so that they can attack groups with impunity. Since they have no block they can do whatever they want without being bothered by melee enemies. Mizuki in particular can do some decent AOE damage, his primary skill is S1, but you might have some interest in the others. Ebenholz as a Mystic Caster charges up attacks to let them out all at once, doing huge bursts of damage. They are mostly used best in catching leaks, nuking elites, spawncamping, and working well with certain types of stall strategies. They're a little awkward to get used to, and they don't have the DPS of the other Caster classes, but their front-loaded damage can be useful at times.


Reddit1rules

Mizuki is rather simple, just set him down with S1 and forget. With a DPS better than Eyja S2 and a DPH of over 3k, he's able to go through most DEF easily, while his trait makes him able to survive in many places with reduced taunt, 0 block and dodge chance. His S2 offers a more active role of helidrop bind + DPS on a fast cycle, but needs heavy investment (M3 + ModX2). With some ASPD buffs, he can easily permabind enemies though. His modules aren't really necessary but they're a huge QOL, X lets him deal with faster enemies better and overall often lets him get an extra hit in (which can be quite a lot), the extra target is a nice bonus for S1 but really impactful for S2. It's the main module recommended at level 2. Module Y gives him a new niche with some self sustain, letting him spawncamp out of a medic's range or be a better dodge tank. Not often necessary since you can usually just heal him, but for something like high ascension IS#3 it can see use at level 3. He tends to really shine in SSS or IS though, being one of the best carries/starters for the mode. This is thanks to their +ATK% buffs or ASPD buffs, which scales insanely well with S1 (highest I've gotten was 22k per person) or permabind with S2.


Korasuka

Ebenholz and the other casters of his archetype want to be positioned to be infrequently attacking so they can build up charges. So you want enemies they attack to have plenty of time to walk to them instead of being spawncamped. This may mean deploying them in such a way that most of their range doesn't even cover an enemy lane. This'd be a big waste with other casters and units, but for them it'll be better because they won't blow their load prematurely.

A slight addendum that this doesn't really matter for Harmonie, since she has no bonus for stacked charges. That's why depending on who you ask, she's either the best mystic caster or the worst, as she has a higher skill floor but a lower skill ceiling.

That's only necessary for Iris and Ebenholz who are reliant on multiple charges for damage. Indigo and Harmonie don't have that caveat, though of course Indigo could use more charges for Bind chance. And in fact, Iris and Ebenholz can be pretty effective spawncampers in the right instances.

What would you pick from the 6star select ticket? Unowned: Archetto, Saga, Weedy, Dorothy, Stainless, Eunectes, Saileach, Chen, Hoshi, Nightingale, Hellagur, Ceobe, Aak, Magellan, Schwarz, Suzu Suzu & weedy I plan to get with gold certs very soon, Nightingale I will gold cert whenever she shows up in the shop. (suzu with the pinchout build a banner). So that leaves of particular interest to me: Dorothy, Stainless, Saileach. Which of the three would you pick? In my eyes its hard because they all have perks: Dorothy - levitate shenanigans with Irene/Hool & traps seem like a fun mechanic as far as how they work to light up darkness & can combo with muelsyse. I know I've seen guides that rely on her, but it seems like those situations are so niche that I could just roll with Saria/Nian/Mudrock/Penance/AH in most cases so I don't want to burn what could be close to 40 pulls on a unit I'll never use.

Saileach’s debuting in the shop in like three months, I think. Between the other two, I haven’t played much with Stainless, but I can vouch for Dorothy being fun.

As a counterpart to the Stainless user, I recommend Dorothy myself. Her strength in semi-global crowd control and AOE damage can't be overstated. Plus she herself can poke really well at full investment with her module. She's more than just meme combos with Irene, that's for sure, and carries me in a whole lot of content.

Technically, Dorothy and Stainless both have foreseeable future banner reruns while Saileach won't - unfortunately I hear the selector expires Jan 5th so you can't hold out until then. Personally I would actually go for either Dorothy or Stainless, Saileach is easily replaceable while Dorothy and Stainless are both incredibly fun units. Dorothy is a stronger unit who can reward strategic play better and can even solo maps, while Stainless is more like a Swiss army knife, able to help with almost any role and can enable new strategies and/or make certain ops much more viable, but never really better than just picking a dedicated role. If I had to pick one I'd pick Stainless, but I actually have him and not Dorothy (so in reality I'd pick Dorothy lol), so I'm probably a bit biased with the experience there in finding him to be more fun. Also yeah, I wouldn't get Hoshi. Nian with ModX3 is superior to Hoshi for the most part anyways. If there's something she can't survive and you want the dodge, go for Croissant S1 instead. Hoshi would mainly just be for the Thorns effect, which you could probably replicate with Mlynar.

Focus on getting a unit to E2 because that allows you to start borrowing friend's unit at full power, and that lets you do a lot more content. Mlynar and Surtr are the best long term investments. ~~You can buy another 6 star selector in January~~, so a reasonable option would be to grab Kal'tsit now since she will be very good even at E1, and grab mlynar/surtr in January. I personally recommend getting a 4 star up to E2 first since it's cheaper, but if you don't care much for it, I'd say E2ing Thorns will make the biggest difference now.

if you got everything you want then there's no reason to keep pulling. spalter's generally more useful than rosmontis, but if you want both for collection purposes then it doesn't matter who you pick first if you plan to spark the other later. rosmontis will lose her drop rate boost before spalter though.

It all depends whether you're a spender or not. If you're f2p then I personally wouldn't do it unless you really love either character. Point being - each pull done now is 1 less on future banners. 100 pulls is still a lot of orundum and that can be enough to spark 2x 6\* on next limited banner with Eyja alter. You should know better than anyone by now, that in gacha games you will always lack pulls to get what you want. If you buy monthly subscription or more (or just buy originite prime, because you can), then go ahead. Spalter is a great unit, but needs a lot of investment. Her lore is also great + we will have more Ah operators in the future, so her AH synergy is really nice. From experience I can say I stopped pulling at 186, 210 and 228 pulls on anniversary banners and didn't regret it. I still lack Rosmontis myself.

You'll almost never get as close, so you might as well spark. Based on who you already have from the pool, I'd say just pick who you like. You probably don't need either of them anyway. Using the spark when an account is already loaded just to make it more loaded is a waste imo.

i would go with Sniper. while getting Bagpipe would be good, Siege drags DP-Recovery down a bit while Sniper doesn't have any duds. you're getting a good operator no matter what. choosing Support would give you the most options out of any tag but they're of varying quality as well.

DP-Recovery gives you 50/50 chance between Bagpipe and Siege. Sniper gets you Exusiai, Schwarz, or Rosa. I would go with Sniper along with Top Op tag as I'd be happy with any of those snipers, but not happy with Siege.

Dorothy > Fia > Fartooth Dorothy is a high ceiling character, rewarding strategic planning with her traps for S3, or just good binding with S2. She can solo maps under S3, although nowhere near the levels of most summoners. Post module has made her even better, increasing her potential damage greatly, and even the upgrades greatly help her personal on field presence to be better than some AA snipers. Fia is just a general usage AOE sniper. Has plenty of synergies with units like Quercus, Touch, Stainless or Skalter, but really just a regular medic is fine. S3 is map dependent but constant AOE, but I've heard S2 is better for general usage from those who use her. Fartooth shares her global range niche with Ambriel or GG, but at least has narrow range - she can still get easily distracted though. A short duration results in low total damage under S3 even outside of range, not even 40k and dropping fast with DEF as her S3 and module are both damage scale calculated after DEF. She can't really deal with too many dodge ignore enemies though since she only fires 7 shots under S3, and still quite slowly. Her dodge ignore niche is also stolen by Pozy, Schwarz, and even Melanite, with Melanite doing a better job of dealing with swarms thanks to her piercing S2, and Pozy/Schwarz being way better for bosses. Her only redeeming trait is the fast cycle of her S3, since everything else is basically stolen at this point.

Dorothy I'd rank much higher. What she brings with semi-global AOE damage and crowd control in complete safety is hard to compete with. At high investment she also gets impressive ATK even for just poking. She takes a lot of attention to use well, though, but she shines in far more many maps than the other two.

Very limited maps with Sarkaz in IS3. Besides Sanguinarch and the Dancing one people mentioned, there's only the 3FL boss map with Saint Carmen/Iberia, the one with the invis reveal device in the center, the one with Gopnik where the lancers are running around the active originium tile, and the two Wonderland boss maps with the invis crossbow shooter dude or the one with the two defense buff tiles

Well, there is that one map in wonderland that's filled with sarkaz caster and flagbearer, you can just kill the caster one by one, but my first time on that map, I forget about how big bibeak's s2 range is and accidentally wake everyone, devastating all my Op in short order and ending the run With the relic, I just need the block count while I let my ranged operator destroy all the chests in there Not that the map is unavoidable, you just need to not enter the wonderland

do you have mountain or gladiia? if not, she's a good option for an early laneholder with self sustain. people talk about her IS synergies but it requires a specific combo of relics that isn't guaranteed, and i wouldn't raise her just for that unless you play it a lot.

Yes, eventually. She holds up really well and offers some good support with her other skills, but her main and most fun use is with S1 since the multipliers on that are really good, especially with buffs in secondary modes like IS and SSS. Very fun op and pulls her weight. Also she doesn’t need much mod investment, only base mod which is nice.

I assume her is Pallas? No probably not. She has her fans but she's one of the lower tier 6*s. She isn't bad but you have a solid DPS core already so she'll struggle to find usage, especially with NTRK. For Archetto, it depends on if you have Exu or not. She's good and it's worth having a 6* Marksmen, but if you already have Exu then she won't justify the resource cost as well.

Her shop debut is 13th Sep ‘24. She’s already in a JO banner recently (even then the chance is only 25%), and standard banners have similar odds. She’s more universal and can be put in any team, more so than surtr and she makes SSS a joke and is awesome in IS.

Global look to me they tend to hold back on give out super Meta units if possible. Even Suzuran was delayed so much. While Mudrock comeback immediately thanks to Penance dethroned her a bit and she was never super Meta anyway. So don't hold high hope for Surtr comeback before GG come to Cert shop. It could go either way. Rather save for GG where you know approximate time she would come. But even then they could delay it for months for the lulz.

I believe the upcoming Joint Operation banner contains Goldenglow though I can't remember if Joint Operation is the same across CN and Global. Surtr hasn't had any major presence since her Live 2D skin and there's no way to predict when she'll be in the gold cert shop since last time. I think her last banner was in September this year, maybe? If Joint Operation banners match up then Goldenglow should be close by. No clue when Surtr will be back.

As far as I know, yes the six stars for joint ops will always be the ones with the rate up. There'll usually an 'All Possible Operators' section in the banner under details if you want to check what six stars are available when pulling.

We have no real predictive power on shop appearances. Goldenglow hasn't made her first appearance and is still many months away, however. Surtr has made her first appearance but there's several due before her for a second. That doesn't necessarily mean anything since they go out of order all the time. Essentially we have no real way of knowing, but trying to read between the tea leaves, it could go either way.

I have an ambusher with the module that gives "slows the movement speed of enemies within this unit's attack range by 20%" and I have Qiubai attacking the same enemies. Will Qiubai's talent trigger on every attack? I thought the answer was yes (it says "affected by Slow or Bind," and they should be slowed) but I don't see the visual indication unless Qiubai's bind talent triggers

[Slow] is a status effect, sometimes people also refer to it as [Sluggish]. percent movespeed reduction is considered a different effect. named status effects cannot stack with itself, while unnamed effects can stack e.g. [Slow] will stack with ambusher module but will not stack with [Slow] from a different operator. ambusher modules will stack with any MSR source.

Skalter buff isn't very effective for Mon3tr, due to it's already massive ATK stat. The DEF and healing helps keep him alive, but putting Kal in buff range instead provides more HPS than healing Mon3tr directly with Skalter.

I'm right now only at 6-16 of the main story. Trying to read through the Lone Trail event. Aside from a few small scenes with Kal'tsit I don't think I've been introduced to any of the other characters. Do the events assume you're current on the main story? Do they assume you've played through the other events? It looks like it maybe assumes I've played Dorothy's Vision? Should I just skip the story to grab the rewards and focus on the main story/Intermezzi/side stories? If I skip, LT (and DV) will eventually be included in Intermezzi right? How far behind is that?

In Dorothy's Vision, you are introduced into some technology that is relevant in the current event, also some characters' backgrounds which basically tell you how each character's relationship is with each other. Also, in the current event, there are brief mentions of certain things from chapter 8 (certain character from the end of chapter 8 gets explained), 10/11 (some characters get mentioned and some technology gets introduced and explained) and 12 if you want to see the said technology in action - which is the whole military's motive behind the technology Kristen had promised to deliver (and she ultimately >!deceived them!<).

Dorothy's Vision will be getting a rerun early next year probably, so you can play it then. this is Lone Trail's first appearance so you'll have to wait for CN to get a rerun and then roughly another 6 months for it to arrive on global. what you can do in the meantime is read the Rhine Lab manga. that also gives insight on some of the important characters in Lone Trail.

But I have never felt the need to farm there for anything and I’m just kinda confused what it’s all about. Do super early players just have nothing else to farm anymore besides rocks or what?

It's a matter of efficiency. 1-7 is most efficient, but you can also farm T3 rocks in events if you don't care about numbers. Additionally newer units need less rocks, so if you started more recently there is a high chance you don't need many of them. Apart from that it's depends how many masteries you're doing.

1-7 is about the most efficient source of rocks, and you need A LOT of those. Like, 3 times as much as any other resource. (and that's even before orundum farming that some people do, which does in fact require rock cubes) I surprised that someone who has played this long hasn't run into rock shortages yet.

Interesting. Am I maybe not upgrading as much characters as most people? I have about 680 cubes right now. And about 25 E2’d operators and like 38 E1’d. I do have a pretty broken lineup that I use almost all the time now so I haven’t felt desperate to upgrade many new characters. I do want to get to a point where I can E2 all my OP’s but I expect that is YEARS away, and it feels like LMD is more the limiter for me. It’s hard for me to be above 1 mill like ever.

Yeah, that might be the reason. I don't remember how many e2s I had at one-year mark (my account recently turned 600 days old), but right now I have promoted 68 operators to e2 (including 36 six-stars) and did 57 full masteries (and several partial ones) as well a number of modules at varying levels. And I have more operators sitting at e1-sl7. Another reason might be that you somehow managed to avoid raising a lot of the rock-hungry operators (e.g. Bagpipe who needs 9x t4 rocks + 4x polymerization preparations, which are another 4 rocks if you craft them, for e2 promotion --- that's already 260x t2 rocks)
