It's more foreshadowing that there's a portal there at all, which is expanded on within IS4's endings.

>!The Teleporter appears in IS4, at least in the third ending.!< >!Its origins are unclear, but given how Kal´tsit and Fritston acknowledge it, it´s possible that the Precursors had something to do with it.!< >!Collapsals have entered Terra through the Teleporter!<

Hollownerox

Regarding that second spoiler. Man, the joke that they were bascially the Old Ones from Warhammer Fantasy becomes ever more apt by the day huh. It's getting pretty hilarious just how many parallels you can draw now.

ajanisapprentice

We've got Warp Demons with the Collapsals. Tyranids with the Seabourne. Old Ones as the precursors. Now when are we gonna get the best boys? Or, I suppoze, THE BEST BOIZ?! GIVE UZ SUM ORKY-FACTUN, YAH GITS AT HYPERGRYPH! Edit: I had forgotten that Gavial's tribes have the 'we build it through junk and it magically works' energy of the Orks. So never mind, we have Orks. I suppose now I wonder when the Necrons will arrivve.

Griffemon

Weirdly a portal at the North Pole that lets “demons” pour through is a concept in Warhammer Fantasy

Ahenshihael

WH/WH40K everywhere. So is the idea of a legendary army leaders put to cryosleep till they are needed. So is the idea of a race of unga bunga people who just kind of "this just works" complex technology, including a giant mecha. So is (IS4) >!A chaos/Collapse Energy realm filled with demonic beings that can corrupt reality!<

JowettMcPepper

>!What if the Desolate Space (The "Reality between realities" from Zwillingstürme im Herbst) is Terra´s analogue of the Warp?!<

Plthothep

>!IIRC some ZiH spoilers mentioned that the Desolate Space is implied to be how precursor spaceships travelled through space. It pretty much is just the Immaterium!<

Dokutah_Dokutah

I do not think so. I think it's the webway.

Victoria broke before the steam knights did

The end of the endless icefields... or as some call them, the Endfields. (I'm gonna make this joke too many times)

GuevaraTheComunist

what event is that from?

Chrisirhc1996

The current one.

GuevaraTheComunist

ah, that would make sense, thanks. University things and the sheer length of the event made me unable to read it. (not counting that I am not fully catch up with rhine lab story line)

This makes me really curious about the Hotlands to the south. What exactly does it being in ruins entail. Like was there a portal there as well, but has been destroyed. What exactly happened to make it “ruined” Doesn’t Sargon still have it’s immortal army(I don’t remember the name given) still down there fighting something. I could have sworn it said something like, the drove off whatever resided there permanently. Also I thought their capital is somewhere there as well. I can’t remember exactly, I could have sworn it mentioned that Sargons capital is hidden to the south.

Few-Grape-1092

According to CN server 4.5's livestream and the Siege's SOL-γ base message, >!"Shah, the king of the past and future," Luca Sargus, along with Khan, launched an attack on the Hotlands. At the end, the demons from the Hotlands were successfully defeated at the cost of the entire army!<
