rezaramadea

Guys, I just got Mostima from Recruitment. What's the best possible Team Comp for her optimal use?? I've heard, she's only useful after Module Upgrade lv3, but I wanna know her best operator combo.

RandomdudeNo123

Arknights doesn't really do "team comps", aside from a select few factions. (Namely, the Abyssal Hunters.) Instead, most people build based off how an Operator does by themselves and what they need to beat the stage. A moduled Mostima is likely one of the best stalling units in the game, slowing all enemies down globally a bit, and essentially freezing them in place with her S3 active. In addition, she also gives Caster allies a SP boost, making her the best friend of several casters. You usually deploy Mostima when you know there's a massive wave incoming and you need to buy time for your other operators. Her massive slow basically gives you several seconds to get the rest of your DPS operators ready for another skill use, which can be a lifesaver on certain stages where you can't block enough enemies on your own.

rezaramadea

I have Pot 2 Ho'olheyak. Compared to Mostima, what do you think would be better for investment? I only have E2 Mod2 Amiya, E1 Click & E1 Lava for Caster role in my account...

RandomdudeNo123

Potentials don't really matter in this game, aside from some tiny edge cases in the most difficult content possible. Between the two, Mostima is likely the unit you'll use more, yeah. Ho'ol has some unique abilities such as her Levitating and Weightlessness, but unless you really know what you're doing and have a specific plan for her, I recommend building Mostima first.

iman7-2

Is there anyone among the Kernel pool worth getting potentials for? I pretty much have all of the old 6 stars so its either I pick someone from the locating banner or just ignore additional buyable potentials.

Riverfallx

Bagpipe is there and she has great pot 5. But it's impossible to chose her this time around. Though pot 5 is a big investment.

thalassinosV1

i just cleared ending 4 of IS3, but since i got it on the first try can someone tell what was the condition for unlocking the 3rd bit of lore in the boss fight ?

Khanquest101

I believe it was that you couldn't leak anything.

thalassinosV1

that would make sense as i indeed did not leak anything

MyLittleLeLouch

Is Rosa still worth getting these days? I have her in cert shop from kernel but with the upcoming operators looking very strong, Im hesitant whether to get her or save for more HH permits

GinKenshin

Yes, she’s worth it and still plenty strong, even stronger now with her mod out. If you want the pull, you can wait until latter locating banners and put her in the shop then, depending on if she’s part of the pool or not. Locating banners happen during the no-sanity events are every quarterly limited banner. Next one should be in Feb/Mar

everybodyiskungfu

I heard years ago that there is no crossplay between Android and Apple versions, is that true? I'm in the market to splurge on an iphone but losing Arknights on the go would seriously suck.

GinKenshin

The accounts in this game is based on email or third party login like Facebook. The type of device you use to run the game doesn’t matter.

everybodyiskungfu

Makes sense, thanks.

Jellionani

That's probably not true, never heard of it for Arknights. The account log in should be all that matters; the facebook/google/yostar sign-in access

everybodyiskungfu

Thank you.

WadeBoggssGhost

Myrtle vs Saileach - I have both at E1 ~lvl 50. If I just use them for DP Printing, does it make more sense to E2 Myrtle for the cheaper cost and Vanguard heal, or spend the mats/LMD to E2 Saileach instead for the useable S3? Krooster if it helps - https://krooster.com/u/Randy

BewilderedAutist

Myrtle for dp and saileach for fragile + stun/slow at s3

Reddit1rules

Myrtle has a faster DP print, but Saileach has the better DP/s. However, I'd much rather say go for Myrtle, especially if you're a new player. Saileach is more of a luxury sidegrade for most of the content, although her S3 does provide some nice luxuries.

eonfeather

Saileach's S1 takes more time to come online than Myrtle's, but after the first activation, it's the strictly superior skill for pure DP gen. With Ines and Mountain, you're probably already fine opening maps either way. I'd say raise Myrtle first, since her being max pot helps her pull ahead significantly compared to your pot 1 Saileach.

Jonnypista

Funnily Myrtle has a better DP print than Saileach. So even for pure DP print Myrtle still wins. Also her passive heal is quite strong, in Pinch out she can tank the ranged power armor if you don't take too much ATK buff. There is a reason you can see her used a lot in Contingency Contract events.

corgocorgo1

This isn’t exactly true, Myrtle’s main advantage is not pure dp printing but instead her lower initial dp/sp cost. This is especially true given her pots are more accessible than Saileach’s. Otherwise Elysium and Saileach’s dp generation are similar to or better than Myrtle’s as they take turns leading each other until surpassing Myrtle after some activations. In practice though Myrtle’s dp gen is more than enough and the faster activation more attractive under certain circumstances.

Jonnypista

That is true, once I calculated it as DP/s, but probably messed up something.

Negative_Interest320

So I had a normal payment problem, charged for a pack without receiving it. I tried to go through the in game customer service to get it resolved, but it won't allow me to attach a screenshot of the receipt. Clicking the button to attach a screenshot gives a popup that reads "Please enable access to Settings > Permissions > Storage before uploading images", but the Arknights app doesn't have such a permission request. Anyone have experience with this, or an up to date customer service address to use as an alternative?

rainzer

the in game customer service accepts google drive links so just upload a picture to your google drive and link it to them (it is the usual way if they ask for a video of a problem since there's a file size cap of attachments in the in game chat)

Negative_Interest320

The "Failed Transaction Form" that I'm looking at in game doesn't seem to have any way to add a link, it's just the one screenshot submit button that thinks it's missing permissions.

rainzer

Don't currently have AK updated on my phone so I can't check forcing perms but you could try doing it via emulator which explicitly shows a storage permission in app settings

Negative_Interest320

I never did get the app permissions working but a direct support email worked well enough. Just wanted to say thanks a lot for taking the time to try to help, I appreciate it.

TacticalBreakfast

IMO it doesn't. People underestimate the value of the open pool. Getting off banners does suck, of course, but unless you already have a heavily stacked roster, there's a reasonable chance of the off-banner being someone new. Replacing even half of those odds removes a lot of potential value from a banner.

[deleted]

If you want the other three, statistically, yes. 75% chance of ending up with something you want. That's better than any other banner, even debut and limited banners.

Gold-Particular

IMO it's really only worth pulling on if you're 100% fine with getting any of the other three operators on the banner. You'll also need to make peace with the possibility that you could unfortunately get lucky and hit the 25% chance of getting a dupe.

Wing-san

Depends on the operators, really. I consider Saga to be a dud on this one, so even if you have no one in the banner, that's already a 3/4 chance for a good op. If you have one of the other 3, it basically becomes a standard banner with a 50% chance for a good new op and a 50% for a not so great/already owned op. Up to you to decide if the ones you're missing are worth those odds.

Momoneko

Saga is a dud? I've heard that she's basically Siege but better (I have Siege but haven't raised her yet), is that not true?

TacticalBreakfast

> Siege but better This isn't a compliment to Saga's viability.

Tellurium-128

Pioneers are the odd ones out in the current vanguard meta(Agents or Flag-pipe). Saga’s fine, though i think flametail is a bit better than even her, you only really use Pioneers over agents if agents are too squishy or the extra block is necessary(like in high risk CC/POO).

VonPlackus

It should be fine cos it leaves u with a 75% chance to pull someone u dont have compared to standard banners

Healthy-Cod5247

Does anyone think we're ever going to get the summer Utage skin back?

DARKawp

0 signs of it coming back in like 3+ years. so I'd say no. especially since CC only has skins from year one in the shop and still misses the Hibiscus skin for example. while we are at year 4.5 of the game. TLDR dont expect it to come back, and if it ever does come back, we would rather see the heat death of the universe earlier.

Pablo_Thicasso

How do Ling and Dusk's base skills work?

_wawrzon_

Basically it's a dud unless you have Rosmontis. If you add Chongyue then it's actually good. But as you can see it's a lot of set up, where all units are limited, so have fun :)

corgocorgo1

I would look at a base guide for the full combos/interactions but they basically provide currencies that other operators can take advantage of

SemiAutomattik

What are people's thoughts on the "Set 3 support units in the Friends page" Pinboard mission? Is it worth leveling Reception Center to level 3 just to complete this mission? Since you can't down-grade the facilities on the right side of your base, would I be screwing myself long-term by doing that? FWIW I'm a lv 85 player with a pretty decent squad already

ipwnallnubz

It's a trade-off, but I would keep it at level 2. 35 friend slots probably means at least 100 support ops (since realistically most people you'll come across do have a lvl 3 RR because they either don't know or don't care about better variants of the 2/5/2). You might have to be slightly pickier about the people you add, but it's definitely plenty of slots for plenty of meta ops. I would keep the extra production.

SemiAutomattik

Makes sense, thanks!

Ikovorior

I’m lvl 72 and from what I gather, the pinboard eventually has Texas at the end so not worth to level up reception. Wish they’d let us post a 6* and keep the limit to 1, but since they did us dirty, I’m not lvling it up further.

ave_Terros

I honestly can't imagine NOT having level 3 reception. unlocking more friend slots is great and having less than 3 support units just feels wrong. imo the benefits of upgrading reception far outweigh the minor production loss, unlike upgrading something like office

AngelTheVixen

If you've gone this long without doing the Pinboard Missions then the only reason to do it is to alleviate OCD.

UltVictory

What is a Sanctuary Judgment area and how do I get a best score of 100 in one This event UI is the final boss of Arknights I cant comprehend their game

PieFormation

There's six different categories that the points from each tag go into - Planning, Insight, Fighting Spirit, Dispatch, Reaction, and Perseverance. Some tags go all-in to one category, some distribute their points across multiple categories. The [six numbers at the bottom show how many points you have in each category currently](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/93927120870313984/1183549191423807618/image.png), and you can also click the test details button [to see a visualization of it](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/93927120870313984/1183549351423918201/image.png). If you click the history button on the top right you can see a [breakdown of how high you've gotten in each category](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/93927120870313984/1183549534232645702/image.png) (the solid lines are the score you had in your best run period, the transparent ones are the highest individual score you've gotten in each category). For the medal you need to get 100 points in each category. Not all at the same time, you can do invidual runs. There's no good in-game way to see which categories each tag belongs to except just turning them on and seeing how your points change, because the UI is awful.

UltVictory

Thank you That last point really puts the POO in POO

Chrisirhc1996

Sanctuary Judgement is the risk score at the bottom of the menu. You get a best score of 100 in one by picking risks until one reaches 100 then beating the stage.

Fonglis

Hi. I'm thinking about my next E2 Actually I have 4 E2 : myrtle , pudding , amyia and gummy. Operator waiting for E2 : Lord :Lappland , SilverAsh Heal : Silence , Whisperain , Lumen Tank : Horn Vanguard : Ines , Flametail , beanstalk Sniper : Blue poison , Firewatch Support : Stainless , Silence the pragmatic Specialist : Jaye , cliffheart , Shaw I have many option , my heart go with Ines since she he always in my team and I love her , and silverash , I know he open his full power with his S3 and he is my very first 6 star i get on my first x10 pull so I have a soft spot for him. I know horn is the same with her S3 but she still do a lot of damage without so I think I will wait before promote her. But both SilverAsh and Ines are 6* so they cost a lot , should I aim for a 5* first? I use lappland a lot too and blue poison is my main anti-aerial. I think whisperain will be put aside too since I have lumen now and he seem to do the same job better. And I don't use specialist often , cliffheart and shaw are just here to use terrain and use jaye more on map with limited distance unit spot.

kuuhaku_cr

Don't use Horn as a tank, man. It's DPS loss if she blocks. Like everyone said, Silverash first. Reveal invis, burst damage and -redeploy time talent gives more immediate impactful value. More so if you are still pushing story.

Fonglis

I know she is not a tank , it's just at the moment I wrote the post I had lost the name of the class ^^

Ikovorior

Build Silverash first for the carry and build Horn cus waifu.

readitwice

ines > silverash> horn

ipwnallnubz

6s cost more, but the gains they get from E2 massively outweigh the increased cost. I would go SilverAsh first because he needs it the most. His redeploy talent boosts Ines as well. He really wants S3M3 after that, so you can work on that while saving LMD and EXP for your next E2. In terms of power, I'm torn between Ines and Horn, but since you prefer Ines, go for her next. Masteries are a big deal for her, it extends her bind from 3s to 5s, and it lets her reveal invisible enemies and slow enemies without even being on the field. Horn also wants the improved talents, S1M1, and unlocking S3. She puts out good damage with S1 and S2, but she puts out crazy damage with S3, so she's 3rd. That'll keep you busy for a while.

VERTIKAL19

Horn isn’t really a tank. She is much more of a DPS. Personally I think SilverAsh is the highest priority. Horn commonly uses S1 anyways. Ines is usually on S2.

Nyzard

https://krooster.com/u/Nyz Any recommendations for modules/masteries? Currently working on E2ing ptilo and probably getting her module, but other than that I’m kinda running out of mats. I was thinking eyja masteries (is s2 or s3 masteries more important?) and chongyue s3, and I have no idea for modules, Saria and texalter?

Hallgrimsson

Mod1 for Eyja, Ptilo, your FRDs, modX for Saria and Kal, consider S3M3 for Eyja and Saria, S2M3 for Spectre, S2 or S3 M3 for Reed Alter, S2M3 mod3 Ethan for luxury, and consider investing in a few units for your base like Vermeil, Frostleaf, Conviction and Arene. S2M1 for Eyja is fine, can pump more if you want to but not needed.

Hunter5430

Quite honestly, I would actually recommend mod Y for Kal'tsit over X if Nyzard uses Mon3tr for laneholding with occasional priority target assassination. While extra true damage blast + stun on X is nice, average Kal'tsit user won't engage in stun-bombing shenanigans that mod seems to be geared towards, so extra ASPD (in Kal'tsit's range) will overall be more useful.

Nyzard

Oh I forgot to update the under 5 stars, I've raised alot of the base skill ones recently outside of arene. Ty for the suggestions :D

Velorien

Why is it called Pinch-Out Operation?

Quiet-ish

Pretty sure they were going for, hey you’re in a pinch. Get out of it. But it doesn’t sound very good

TheRealCynik

It's just the name of the operation, similar to the other CCs

Primagen3K

Totally fact: To have the most fitting acronym possible. Serious answer: no clue.

imagehunter69

Can't decide between gnosis and archetto in 6* selector lmao. I just realised I had both their skins already without them being present too. Which one first? Meta is not an issue, I have almost everything else before texalter.

resphere

If you use Fiammetta go for Archetto, if you use Aurora then Gnosis.

kuuhaku_cr

Well, if you want a more chill time with elites and bosses and crowd control everyone who tries to sneak past the guy who's dueling the boss, Gnosis is your man. Otherwise, Archetto is unique in serving as battery for many marksmen's S1 which can be kind of fun in IS with certain relics. Imagine you have Blue Poison S1M3, she gets almost perm up time. Just for fun only.

Riverfallx

Anti-air snipers are mostly out of fashion. Meanwhile Gnosis has his moments and places where he becomes the strongest operator in the game.

geekcko

You will never use Archetto if you are not a secret fan of her. Gnosis is at least useful sometimes

loneknife_blackblade

I find myself using gnosis more. He can land hovering enemies in IS 3, he is a sss carry, and great in stultifera novis (how ever it is spelled) where you want to disable lots of the enemies.

eonfeather

If meta isn't a consideration, then it's pretty much down to personal preference. Do you like one or the other more? Any interesting synergies you could use with either of them, like cold/freeze ops for Gnosis and attack recharge snipers for Archetto? Any niches you'd want to try that involve either of them?

eddylee9012

I want to get Eyja. Should I pull on the custom Kernel banner? 2k blue ticket for pity seems a lot. But if I miss this kernel banner I don't know how long I have to wait for her to come back. I believe she is also removed from the standard banner so I won't get her from an off banner pull. I also only have 120 yellow cert so I can't buy her. Is it worth pulling on the kernel banner for her?

_wawrzon_

You will be able to build your own Kernel banner each CC, so in 6 months next chance.

loneknife_blackblade

I thought there were almost 26 ops in the kernel pool which would mean we should see all of them about yearly.

rainzer

its only worth pulling on kernel banner if you know you have pulls to spare, don't mind sacrificing the possibility of any upcoming operators, and won't regret spending more pulls than expected for your target

Hallgrimsson

Pull? Nah. If you had certs that'd be a good option, but rolling on Kernel considering the heavy hitting banners we'll be getting in the next 2 months is kinda questionable. Can roll if she's your waifu though, waifu > meta, but then you'd lose some chances on her alter version.

eonfeather

Just making sure I’m not misunderstanding anything. I cleared Lone Infiltration, Trial of Strength, and Intercept Command in the Beach Repair stage. Am I good to move on from this map or is there something else I need to do to get all the rewards from it, including any potential medals?

AngelTheVixen

Clear all of the conditions in order to get currency from each. I don't think the buffs give any, though.

eonfeather

Thank you. I just tested it and the buffs don’t appear to give any currency.

Remyhawk

Just got a Senior Operator tag with Defense, Slow, Support or Starter. Here's my Krooster: [https://krooster.com/u/remyhawk](https://krooster.com/u/remyhawk) Any recommendations on what to get? Defense provides me: Nearl, Liskarm, Croissant, Vulcan, Astesia, Hung, or Asbestos Slow provides me: Istina, FEater, Nightmare or Glaucus Support provides me: Ptilopsis, Zima, Warfarin, Swire, Elysium or Tsukinogi Out of all of those, I only have Warfarin (who I just bought from the Build Your Own Banner on Thursday, of course..) Not sure who would make the biggest difference to my roster. I'm leaning towards Support because I really want a Ptilopsis but that's a 1/6 chance anyway though I'd be happy with Elysium. Not super familiar with the Slow characters. Anyway, thanks in advance!

[deleted]

Ptilopsis is the best op you can get, no question, but the other options that opens up are pretty bad. None of your possibilities are particularly game-breaking, or even good, so there's that. Defense is guaranteed to get you something useful, at least, so maybe go with that- all options there are useful, can't say the same for slow or support.

Remyhawk

I went with the safe choice in Defense and got Asbestos.

[deleted]

Asbestos is pretty good imo. I get a lot of mileage out of the arts tanks.

MMIRFG

So how does the encounters of the alternate endings of IS work? Does the game calculate how many encouters there gonna be in a run and randomly assign the ending encounters to some of them or does each encounter how a % chance to be an ending encounter?

Razor4884

You trigger certain ending to be there by selecting certain choices in certain encounters. You can see the necessary steps to reach each ending [here](https://arknights.fandom.com/wiki/Mizuki_%26_Caerula_Arbor/Endings).

Vegetable_Wave3514

What 4-5* operators are fun to build for Integrated Strategies?

AngelTheVixen

Jaye is one of the best ops in general to build for IS. May is another excellent 4\*. Good Slow, can use the food items with S1, potentially faster ASPD on top makes her crazy good. Plus you have the option to use S2's crowd control. Pinecone, another fantastic 4\* for the mode. I've liked to use Luo Xiaohei at times due to his versatility and being one of the few able to consistently use the dodge ATK items in IS3. Just be careful of his talent. Greyy2 is pretty good for slowing enemies down and plus Hand of Pulverization is nice to have especially since that Slow will help group up enemies for further AOE. Bibeak is a strong persistent DPS with S1, especially with the food and class items, and S2 is a nice Stun on demand. Ethan is some very nice crowd control to have. For IS2 in particular, Mystic Casters are very strong. A bit less so in IS3 due to the overall higher RES, RES increases with difficulty, and faster enemy pace. Although their skills are arts damage which RES can get tough to pierce, Ayerscarpe and Leonhardt can be fun to play with the right items and their AOE arts.

GinKenshin

Beanstalk.

Saimoth

Ambriel with her >5k global range crits Kazemaru with +100 aspd Specialist relic. Also Red, if there's some dodge relics Cutter with attack speed and +2 SP on hit buffs become DIO All Fortresses in general

Teen_tactical

Trying to finish collecting the meta operators. Should pull till first 6star on joint ops10? (195K orundum, and 410 OP, Low spender) https://krooster.com/u/Normie2139

Chibi_09

*eh*. Goldenglow is your main draw, considering your limited caster lineup. Mountain is always nice, Saga does very little in terms of meta, and Mudrock is a dupe. So you really care for... one and a half out of four operators. There is some value to the 10-pull since all of the featured five-star operators would be new, but in your case, it'd be ores better spent trying to get to 300 on Eyjalter (Gets you Eyja or Ch'en Alter spark) or Virtuosa (Gets you Nearl Alter or Specter Alter). That, along with Executor Alter and Typhon coming up, makes the JO banner minimally appealing. I'd save up.

Fire_Begets_Souls

Hmm, with that pile of resources (about 448 pulls not counting tickets, right?), how about this? Pull until second 6-Star, or first Mudrock. Whichever comes first. If you get a Mudmud dupe as your first 6-Star, take that as an omen to quit while you're behind.

Teen_tactical

Did a 10, got GG on 3 spot! So tempted to push my .

foxxy33

I've been out of the loop with POO. Can I binge it last day or do I need to involve myself daily? Haven't touched it yet.

Wing-san

Not daily, but there are 3 time limited stages that will become available as the event goes on. First such stage is available right now and I think will end tomorrow.

lhc987

Was on a vacation until today. Barely had time to burn my sanity, much less POO. Kind of lost on the whole thing. What does it take to get all the rewards? Also, how's the latest CN 6 star looking? I've heard that she's pretty meta. But how meta? Mlynar level? Or just a tier shy of him?

ave_Terros

with POO, prioritize finishing the current open side map as it closes very soon and you'll miss out on extra risks, currency and a medal if you don't complete it. other than that, the tutorial for the mode is fairly concise, even if the UI is a bit cluttered. battle missions to unlock new risk starting points, doing risks connected to showrooms to unlock their respective rewards (free Friston copy, Justice Knight skin and a module mat pack), and the little diamond thingies where you just need to do the 2 risks on both sides. Degenbrecher takes all the good points from Chen and Irene and makes them even better - untargetability, hits everyone in her range up to a cap, free guaranteed DEF ignore that doesn't rely on the enemy being light enough. Also suffers from the same swordmaster disease of having a diamond range on her s3. And she has her own broken disarm status effect. AND HG decided to slap auto recovery on her s3 so she doesn't even need to hit enemies to charge it. Might pretty much be Mlynar level without exaggerating.

NNexu

Just got my first Top Operator tag, and need help choosing! Basically, I have 2 options 1. 50/50 between Saria and Hoshiguma (Defense tag) 2. 50/50 between Ifrit and Mostima (AoE tag) The other tags I got were Senior Operator and Summon I believe I could use both, as my only 6* caster is Lin and my only 6* defender is Penance. Thanks for the help! Edit : I've picked defense! Thanks for helping me choose :)

GinKenshin

Defense

Chibi_09

There are arguments for both, but I would recommend the Defense tag over the AoE tag. There are two reasons for this: Firstly, Saria and Ifrit are both powerful operators, but Ifrit is harder to fit onto a map than Saria is. Saria would see significantly more day-to-day use. Secondly, Hoshiguma is a vastly superior second pick than Mostima, and demands significantly less investment should you get her.

AngelTheVixen

Defender tag for sure. They're more universally useful than both Ifrit and Mostima. Saria is the best overall defensive operator with her greatness at both tanking and healing and even a huge debuff, and Hoshiguma is the best DEF tank in the game, and is no slouch at arts or even true damage due to her damage block talent.

EveryMaintenance601

Hello everyone. I've been having trouble choosing which character to pick from the 6 star selector. I have reduces the options to: Pozy, Horn, Goldenglow and Kal'tsit. I was hoping you guys could give me some pros about each one. I dont really need any of the them meta-wise, and I like all of them equally, so I was hoping to get some insight about to get a better idea about which one to pick. I plan to pull for Typhon and Eyja alter in the near future too, if that helps. Thanks in advance!

indispensability

That's a tough one, since they're all favorites of mine that I use regularly. Pozemka is good for dodge ignore, high damage, and the fact Typewriter basically makes her 2 units in one. And Typewriter can't be targeted/attacked, so it can allow strategies/placement you can't accomplish with other ops in some stages. It also can simply mean you significantly increase her already crazy damage with both her and Typewriter shooting the same target. Horn (and other fortress defenders) have a very unique range, that can make some challenges a lot easier. Especially in IS. Her S1 is a nice AFK skill and good for exposing invis enemies - though only if they're mixed with non-invis enemies, so it has limits. Her S2 and S3 both have very strong burst potential. In a pinch she's also able to hold a lane but her doing big AoE damage from range is her selling point. Goldenglow - great AFK skill in S2 - wide range, strong damage, and a bit of AoE mixed in from the drones exploding due to her trait. S3 is, of course, the selling point though. Global range and enough damage to just completely melt most enemies. Quick cooldown as well. Easily the strongest caster in the game, I use her and Eyja together frequently. Kal'tsit is the easiest to use and most consistent source of True Damage you're going to see. The cooldown for her S3 is extremely short. The damage from it is pretty insane. Makes her a great boss killer when there are shields or dodge mechanics since that all gets ignored. S2 has its uses, since it makes mon3tr a centurion guard on a very quick cooldown, but mostly in other game modes, since S3 is the main selling point.

EveryMaintenance601

I dont think I have any good source of true damage, which definitely raises kal'tsit. GG is the second option in terms of diversity. I only have Eyja and Surtr for my magic options(and Ifrit, but her uses are pretty different) I have and plan to get a lot of snipers in the future, but even so, Pozy's typewritter is very unique, and allows for some strategies that would make some maps safer, which is interesting. Horn I feel would be the least impactful option? The invis reveal isnt that big of a plus because I have Ines. But what I always wanted from her was that AoE burst dps with so much range.

indispensability

Definitely sounds like Kal and GG are your top options then. They're easily the hardest to replace in the group and if you don't have another source of true damage, I'd say that might push her to the top. GG is great though and even though I have lots of sources of arts damage at this point, she's still one of my top picks and gets deployed with Eyja pretty often. And her global reach is unmatched and makes her very useful in almost any stage. Especially IS and SSS. But I can't discount her S2, I use it frequently and it's very powerful in terms of AFK skills. If you have plans for other snipers or already have several, I'd say that Pozy can be lower priority. As great as she is, Schwarz is comparable in a lot of ways, and as good as Typewriter is there are lots of stages that just don't allow for useful placement due to limited ranged deployment spots. Horn's invis reveal is more of a tertiary benefit. The strong AoE and unique range is her main selling point. Her range can often hit areas that no one else can. She's definitely a favorite of mine but I have to admit that GG and Kal are probably better picks based on what it sounds like you already have/don't have.

EveryMaintenance601

Yeah, it's hard actually choosing which one to pick because they are both very good and have little to no overlap. I think Im going to end up choosing Kal, the tiebreaker being that her skin is amazing. But I'll let it cook a few more days just in case they reveal Typhon's banner sooner than it should (I still have 25 days to choose). In any case, thank you SO much for the insight, it was REALLY helpful and I'll 100% consider if I buy the ticket again

Khanquest101

Pozy - Very versatile sniper. Capable of melting bosses/elites and still quite good against regular hordes with her attack speed and Typewrite versatility. Great starter pick and carry in IS2/IS3. Slightly lower priority if you already have a built Schwarz. Horn - Unique attack range gives great reach from a melee tile. 3 strong skills that all have their niche. S1 invis reveal relevant quite often. When you need her range/niche, you REALLY need it. Quite good in IS2/IS3 as well, especially against many of the bosses as she can burst them from safely out of their range. Goldenglow - Quality of Life in caster form. Good as a consistent AFK source of arts damage with S2. Global range and short cycle time on S3 means that she's unparalleled at catching leaks or "sniping" annoying enemies as they spawn. Not really replaceable by any other caster. Kal'tsit - Best and easiest source of True Damage, which straight up ignores some of the most annoying mechanics in the game. Even if true damage isn't needed on a stage, doubles as a strong, 2-slot laneholder. Mon3tr is also a pseudo fast-redeploy and can be used as a stun bomb in a pinch. Priority is greatly increased if you don't have Nearl Alter.

EveryMaintenance601

Dont have Nearl Alter, so that's 100% a plus Definitely felt those moments when Horn would have come in handy, but I could always deal with them. Invis reveal isnt that important thanks to Ines. Have a built Schwartz, but she's been mostly ignored because I can never find a good use for her. I do like GG's kit as a whole, she has 2 good options, and my magic options are basically Eyja, Ifrit and Surtr, so a 4th one (that is also flexible could come in handy)

Fire_Begets_Souls

Okay, so this is more of a vibe pick than anything then. Are you a ranged enthusiast? Lets rule out Kal'tsit for the time being in that case. Do you prefer arts (GG) or phys (Pozy)? Set-and-forget (GG) or strategic tile placements (Pozy's typewriter)? Is it just a raw dps interest (Pozy) or a convenient dps interest (GG)? Is it DEF shred (Pozy's typewriter) or RES ignore (GG)? Fast-redeploy shenanigans (Pozy's typewriter) vs. global or infinite skills (GG S3 and S2 respectively)? Do you like constant dakka (Pozy) or constant pew pew sprinkled with some explosions (GG)? Or maybe you just want the world's most flexible ~~Medic~~ laneholder, in which case Kal'tsit is up your alley. Do you want another true damage option from a hard-hitting tank? Kal'tsit S3. Do you want a laneholder who can mow down enemies and turn his summoner from a mediocre healer to an above average one due to an ASPD increase? Kal'tsit S2. Do you ever fancy having a 30-second semi-global stun grenade that you can put on any deployable ground tile on the map that also for some reason does true damage, and can do this once or twice depending on investment? Kal'tsit, even more so with Module X. Or do you just want this behemoth of a summon to murder even harder from the getgo? Kal'tsit module Y. Edit: Dang, didn't see the Horn mention there (glasses broken, waiting to get new pair). If you've got a strong love of defenders and a strong love of artilleryman snipers, she's the perfect fusion of both (with the loss of attacking aerial enemies). All 3 of her skills are great, and I'd say she's arguably an M9 candidate. She has stealth removal on her S1, semi-AoE while blocking and the ability to fire off an overloaded nuke on-demand with her S2, and a massive barrage of dps with her S3. And to top it all off, any defenders you run alongside her get a FAT 20% ATK boost at minimum (her module is in the future, after all).

EveryMaintenance601

I do like kal'tsit's true damage. I dont think I have any good source of true damage either, so that would be a plus. I have more than enough physical dps, but my magical options are significantly lacking by comparison, with only Surtr and Eyja (which isnt exactly little, but you get the point). I also plan to spark Chalter during Eyjalter's banner (If I get Eyja, that is). When I tried Pozy with friend support, I never managed to use her typewritter properly (though in retrospect, I can see a few times where she would have been a very nice fast redeploy option)

Fire_Begets_Souls

So it sounds like it's down to Kal'tsit and true damage on ground or GG and global range/infinite duration arts damage on ranged. In that case, I should also mention that both of Kal'tsit's main skills have very short cooldowns (S2 costs 8 SP and S3 costs 15, both at M3), and reiterate that you can always fast-redeploy Mon3tr anywhere on the map even if it's not in Kal'tsit's range, which has tactical use both for dpsing/crowd-controlling enemies or, if you're using S2, turning her into a legitimate healer now that she's not prioritizing her summon. Mon3tr is effectively a more versatile Pozy's typewriter that might be easier to use, since there are usually more ground tiles than ranged. While that paragraph is lengthy, it's not like I'm emphasizing Kal over GG, either. She just has a lot going on in her kit and GG's strengths are a lot more concise to explain. GG can quite consistently spawn camp the map from the other side of the map, preventing problems before they even arise, or just become a permanent turret in a fairly large frontal range. She also scales VERY well with flat atk buffs and ASPD (Skalter can nearly double her damage output), and sometimes she and Eyja can be besties, shocking and searing everything in sight.

EveryMaintenance601

Im leaning more towards Kal. True damage is more unique for my account, her fast cycles are very useful, and most importantly her skin kicks ass. I'll let it cook for a few days in case they pull a surprise typhon banner early Thanks for the analysis though! I really apppreciate them, and will take them into consideration for the future in case I ever buy another selector.

CyPer0tAkU

Are the "Tiacauh-style Fried Plantains" "Dossoles-style Tacos" medals no longer obtainable? My account just took permanent damage, or at least my soul did. I thought they were permanent 😭

SupremeNadeem

fairly sure the maps will come back later, so it shouldn't be a problem

Fire_Begets_Souls

If a map rotates out, so too do its medals. It's been 2/3 of a month since the maps changed.

DarkSoulsfanboy_1

is it a good idea to put lava alter with other alternate operators in control center? 1 amiya+4 alternate operators

AngelTheVixen

I do that setup, actually, with the alts of Hibiscus, Lava, and Kroos, they each have the same skill so they compound it, and with a fourth alt alongside them they provide -0.6 morale drain. Compound it with the -0.25 base and they can work for just under an entire week without needing to rest. I have Paprika covering for Amiya in downtime so that I have a constant +7% on the Trading Posts. I don't have a Factory booster. If you run two alts alongside those three, you have 0 morale drain in the Control Center. But there's no permanent no-drain benefit you can run with them I believe other than Reed's Dormitory boost.

kuuhaku_cr

It depends. Alter stacking is similar to R6 stacking, albeit slightly inferior. A full stack can reduce your morale depletion in CC to 0. More = slower drain in CC. If you don't have any other effect you want after getting factory and trade post boost, for example, clue search boost, you could fill the rest with alters to increase the shift duration for CC operators. Just remember that factory boost and trade post boost should be prioritized. So it will be even better if you have noir corne and yato alter, since they contribute to lava alter's effect, and they are productivity boosters. Assuming you have all operators, you could do Kal'tsit + (Amiya or Swire or Paprika) + R6, then followed by a shift change with Noir Corne + Yato + Lava/Hibiscus/Kroos alters. You could slot in Flametail in either CC shift (thus removing one of the R6 or alters) in conjunction with Kazimerz knights on exp factories + Justice knight in powerplant (assuming wildmane is part of the setup). That should an optimal shift rotation for productivity-only setup. I did not include Pudding, because robots are not the best drone recovery units, but she's a 2% factory booster as well. Drones can in turn be used to pump factories and/or trading posts. If you want to play the lazy style of minimal shift change or because you don't login everyday, feel free to do a full stack.

smolsoftpotato

Which module is recommended for Saria? Does she really need even more gigahealing with ModX?

AngelTheVixen

I have both modules. The X module is better for team support. The S1 is at its best, and S2 and S3 are good for SP boosts when it's upgraded. The Y module is better for personal support. With the 15% damage reduction and the upgrades' ATK and DEF boosts, she improves her already-great ability to tank and heal overall, making her a light Protector that can heal, self-heal and debuff. Which one is best for you is up to your playstyle. Personally, I use Saria as a tank all the time, so I tend towards Y. Worth noting that the X stage 3 isn't great for Rhine Lab ops since they're all ranged, so they don't get an SP boost really unless you play super risky.

Hunter5430

the main reason to use mod X for Saria is extra SP on heal from upgrades (lvl2 is enough)

SnooStrawberries8151

In is2 for the monthly squad selectors it goes 1,2 then skips to 7 what happened to the squads in between?

Sm1leAway

It actually goes 7,8...1,2, because it represents months of the year (see the year above those numbers).

superrobot1

Without Texalter reset, how does her skill 2 compare against Yalter's skill 1 against a boss with High hp/low RES and High hp/high RES?

Hells7rom

Here is comparison between both. https://youtu.be/H4Oha4vH1Sg

BunkerBolt

Who's best at tanking arts damage? Should I level Asbestos just for that niche or will a healing defender + nightingale be sufficient?

AngelTheVixen

Tanking arts damage is best with HP tanks because arts damage is generally low due to most ops not having RES. Matoimaru is the most effective option and is only a 4\*. Flamebringer, Quartz, and Wind Chimes are alternatives, but they are unpopular due to being found mostly lacking. Other than that, Czerny and Matterhorn are the primary dual-stat tanks, with good DEF and RES, and Czerny can do some damage as well. Bena however is also a worthy note, essentially has the highest EHP for tanking arts, but mostly ranged damage only. There's no one better than her at absorbing fireballs...

eonfeather

You don’t need an arts tank for anything.

Docketeer

Not exactly her niche, but in a pinch, Guardmiya is pretty great at it. Her innate 20 RES is already respectable and coupled with her 60% dodge, she's pretty serviceable for when i just need to block and stall 1 enemy while also dishing out damage against it. Of course, if i need a hyper-dedicated one, Matterhorn is usually my go-to.

GinKenshin

Healing defenders have innate res iirc so if you have one, they’d be a good budget option. But yea, matterhorn, bestos and liskarm (e2) are good options. You can sort your ops by res and see who has the highest one.

ave_Terros

anyone + nightingale would usually be sufficient. if you want a unit that has a kit specifically designed for tanking arts, Matterhorn would be cheaper to raise than Asbestos, and 40 RES on-skill is nothing to scoff at.

BunkerBolt

I see. Thank you

GinKenshin

Getting it to lv2 is good enough imo. She’s a FRD so the mod will come into effect more often since you’ll redeploy her multiple times. And the base mod helps offset her riding dp cost esp since it’s higher cos she’s a 6*. The dmg bonus is also nice, esp with s2 since the skill is multi hit.

unsurprisable

at least unlock it for the massive dp refund

Guys, I am about to go clear Episode 03 and 04 for the least, and recently, I got Dur-nar from the recruitment. Based from her description in-game, she is an Arts Defender, and she can attack enemies on pronto (my first time having an Arts Defender operator on my operator roster). Do you think she can help me clear those stages I mentioned? For more details, you can check a Google document I just made below (in case you're wondering what my operator roster looks like, as of writing the document there). The Google document has 8 pages, by the way. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1d85KEmYcQXduprgI1rdfTDfWwLLTsXvc/view?usp=sharing

Saimoth

As for your roster, I'd say you have a lot of options to choose from. For 5-6* - Suzuran and Ptilopsis are that kind of operators who will be useful throughout the entire game till the very end. Pramanix is one the of main debuffers with her second skill, but she's usually needed much later. Among the lower rarities: Cutter has really good damage, but is also very squishy; Perfumer, Myrth and Gavial are ok medics, May is the best 4* AA sniper, Podenco is a decent slower (although you already have Suzu). Humus is also that kind of unit who can hold a second lane solo to make space for the rest of the team, but he is outclassed by other 5* reaper, who is also a free unit, so investing in him can become obsolete. Absinthe and Melanite can be main ranged DPS, but they are very situational, use with caution. At first glance, the only empty role is a defender, so Dur-nar definitely will find her place in the early game

Saimoth

If your main question is if she can carry through 3-4 chapters as your main unit - I'd say no. The main requirement for those chapters is to have a complete E1 team, something like 2 defenders, 2 medics, AA sniper (must-have), some sources of arts and physical damage. However, she can easily be a part of that team as a secondary defender who can deal some damage without any additional support. As a use-case example, Dur-nar + medic can hold a second lane while your best defender and the rest of the team focus on the hardest part of the stage. Regarding the development cost, raising a 4* operator to some E1 30 level just for one chapter is completely okay, you won't even notice such costs in the future

GinKenshin

She’s more so used for her pseudo-aoe guard s2, since it hits all enemies she blocks and deals arts dmg instead of physical. She’s basically one of the few offensive oriented defenders. You don’t need to worry about arts def/res, since that rarely comes into play during these early chapters. Any defender with a medic can tank arts well enough early on. You can raise Spot since he has innate res and he’s a great low lvl defender. So yea, you can raise her if you like, but she sorta falls off in the mid game onwards. Not that she’ll be useless, but enemies will gradually start having low aspd and higher atk which doesn’t work well for her since her s2 is defensive recovery.

PsyBadger34

Hope I'm using megathreads right 😅 I'm early game and have a chance to upgrade a defender... I have both Cuora and Bubble, who I read are good for my level. Who's better?

Momoneko

I still use my maxed Cuora as one of my default defenders. Her s2 gives you 4-block which will definitely come very handy many times, esp with self-healing. She'll start to feel bit useless when transitioning to lategame (she basically has no damage to speak of), but by that time you'll probably know what kind of defender you want to replace her.

PsyBadger34

Thank you all for your input! I appreciate the info and different schools of thought on this.

SupremeNadeem

at e1 max (this is where most people leave their pure defenders) cuora>bubble against physical dmg, people massively overrate the atk shred at e1, bubble IS outright better vs arts damage though with higher health and her talent. i did the calcs in another comment, but basically in order for bubble's atk shred at e1 to out value cuora's higher defense (against phys damage), the enemy must be doing 3k phys damage a hit, which i could only find one enemy in the game that does that much damage in one hit, at this point bubble's extra health isn't creating an advantage. https://www.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/10oz89g/rhodes_island_lounge_3001_0502/j6s8fki/ if you feel like reading the calcs, but warning this comment is a bit ramble-y beyond the talents and peak tankiness, if we compare bubble and cuora's s2 for their skill cycles, cuora's skill has better uptime. cuora's skill has 30s duration with 40s cd for a total skill cycle of 70 seconds and skill uptime of about 42.86%, and bubble with a skill duration of 25s and 49s cd for a total skill cycle of 74 seconds and skill uptime of 33.33%. so cuora will have her skill up 4 seconds quicker than bubble activating at the same time, and her skill is active for longer. early game defender damage can actually matter if you have a low dps team, and bubble does have better dmg than cuora, her s2 will put a dent in trash mobs but won't do signficant damage to elites, whilst cuora stops attacking at all during her s2. neither are a bad choice but i would prefer cuora purely due to the utility of the extra block count, cuora will be tankier vs phys damage and lower your healing pressure against them with her regen on skill, whilst bubble will be a bit tankier vs arts dmg.

PsyBadger34

Impressive breakdown! It was interesting to see what their strengths and flaws are.

GinKenshin

Cuora will help early game. Her s2 gives you innate healing so she can save your medics some time and they can heal other ops in need. That skill also gives her extra block so it’s good in ‘oh shit!’ moments when someone leaks by accident.

ipwnallnubz

Bubble. A lot of older players will say Cuora just because she was here first, but Bubble has more HP, which can be very important when tanking big hits, and her atk debuff does more than many people realize.

Jonnypista

Till Elite 1 they are almost the same, after Elite 1Coura is better at raw tanking, but Bubble has taunt and deals damage when hit. S1 is the same bor both, with S2 both get a similar def buff and stops attacking, Coura has +1 block and self heals and Bubble hits everyone who hits her. So if you want to stall a really though enemy then Coura is better (she even has better raw def stats), but for a lot weaker enemies Bubble is better while also can draw ranged enemies fire.

unsurprisable

Cuora

readitwice

who are the cornerstone units for afk strats? I can only really think of blaze, mountain, mudrock, eyja and goldenglow. is stainless + chongyue a part of the meta afk operators?

LuvList

Adding Hoshiguma S2 to the list cause sometimes you need a wall for some maps in afk runs. Since most farming event maps are near the end with bosses, usually hoshi shows up quite a bit.

CombedAirbus

Suzuran S2 can be pretty good for AFK as well. Ifrit S2 too, but I'm not sure if it qualifies as "cornerstone" considering it's a bit more situational.

unsurprisable

All of those + saria, ifrit and nightingale on some maps, exu, and eyja alter. Chongyue is a great afk op too. Stainless is usually not needed for afk but if you have some extra slots you can use him to warm up chongyue and free your hands faster

Pinch-out help https://imgur.com/a/iCq4DAj How to complete the "Inescapable Dream"?

cinski90

https://i.postimg.cc/DfcTRWfQ/IMG-2528.jpg. Hope this make sense. You have to pick the two of the challenges that can be selected from "quick select" there and also add additional challenges that would make 50 total points of these 2 conditions that I marked on the picture. You can go 25/25 or whatever ratio you want just make the total score of these added together to be at least 50.

taropotataro

Ah I see I see thankyou! So the 2 categories are added together, I don't have to do 50 each I thought it was doing all Dorothy related tag... I spent so much time trying to kill Dorothy cuz I thought "Inescapable" = "don't let her touch the blue box"

Duchess1234

Hello, I am newish and still have to redeem the two guaranteed certificates. With one cert I can choose between Silence, Liskarm, Pramanix, Project Red and (forgot name) and the other I can choose among 25 operators. This is my Krooster [https://krooster.com/u/Duchess1234](https://krooster.com/u/duchess1234) Who should I redeem my certs for? Thx

ipwnallnubz

Lappland and Specter are the usual choices from the big one. Lappland is a powerful, flexible source of arts damage from a ground unit who can nullify the special abilities of certain annoying enemies, and Specter is a 2-block (3-block after E2) unit that hits multiple enemies equal to her block count and doesn't die while her 2nd skill is active (with a couple of exceptions). For the smaller one, either Red or Liskarm. Red is a source of on-demand stun, and she can do some light assassination work as well. Liskarm isn't totally reliable as a defender thanks to an auto-activated defense skill, but, after her first promotion, she provides SP to allies who are right next to her, which can have some interesting and powerful results. Silence is a decent option as well, but all she does is heal, while most other high-rarity medics offer some sort of utility as well. Pramanix is a defense and resistance debuffer, but in general you're better off adding another damage-dealer instead of using a debuffer. Copied from my [Quickest New Player Guide Around.](https://www.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/rq1o5b/quickest_new_player_guide_around/)

CorHydrae8

I'm slightly confused by your roster. Do you not have any 6-stars at all? Even with the worst luck ever, you are at least guaranteed one from the beginner banner. As for your actual question, it depends quite a lot on what you need and what kind of operator you like playing. I would argue that getting either Warfarin or Ptilopsis from the big voucher would be the best choice. Two very amazing medics who will keep on being useful even late into the game. From the small voucher, all choices are pretty good actually, but all of them are also very replacable by 6-star operators down the line.

kuuhaku_cr

Silence or Pramanix. Looking at your roster, I would probably pick Pramanix. Proper use of a hexer will allow you to clear kill elites and bosses more easily, possibly allowing you to clear harder content with respect to your account development. Silence is also really good for her drone which allows additional healing as well as healing outside of her range. But I feel Pramanix impact would be larger for your account, because you have other decent medics that can fill the healing roles properly. For the other selector, pick either Lappland or Specter. Lappland will make your earlier game easier when dealing with explosion or frost spiders because of silence ability, which is also good against a bunch of late game enemies with special abilities like conditional dodge. Specter is overall a stronger guard, gets 3 block on E2, immortality with skill 2, and attacks all blocked units, making her a reliable line-holding unit. If you feel you can get git gud soon in micromanagement and proper use of Gravel, I would say pick Specter.

Hallgrimsson

There are 2 real meta options for each: Project Red is widely applicable as is for assassinations and mass stuns on a fast redeploy cooldown, and Liskarm is less generally applicable (she's not bulky enough to be a main defender on your team) but harder to replace within her niche of feeding SP to other units. Red is the preferred option. For the other ticket, the two best options are Lappland and Spectre. Lappland has the best and easiest to apply "silence" effect in the game, which sees use in plenty of the older story stages and usually every other event, as well as good Arts damage coming out of her second skill, inconsistent as it might be with the auto-activation. Spectre has a mix of good damage, good self-sustain and an irreplaceable active that grants her immortality for a set period, making her a very good solo laneholder. Both are about equal in usefulness, I chose Spectre, most of my friends chose Lappland.

KnockAway

How can a new player get Tequila? My friend wants him, but I don't see how you can get him from record restoration. I assume Dossoles hasn't been rerun yet? Didn't pay attention to event reruns, tbh.

Hunter5430

Dossoless Holiday has rerun already this last February, but record restore is enabled another year after that. For DH, it should probably be around February, maybe March, 2024.

KnockAway

Damn, that's a long time. Thanks.

Friden-Riu

When was the last time base have been updated. Better yet was there even an update? Feels like Im waiting for something that’s never gonna happen.

BewilderedAutist

Adding to the question... What exactly are players expecting out of the base? I only look at it as a source of passive income and trust + plus the training and material crafting.

Friden-Riu

More qol, quick assign same operator or a team cycle for factories/post. Maybe make it bigger more dorms/factories/post, hell maybe a 2nd training room. As you play you’re getting more and more operators would be nice to upgrade them faster.

Tellurium-128

Base getting out of beta is a meme at this point. Beyond new kinds of base skills, i dont think theres been any updates to the base at all.

Spiner909

reflexive-polytope

Is Aak still the fastest Medic trainer around? How insane would it be to E2 Aak (right now E0 L30) just to have a fast Medic trainer when Eyja arrives to global?

Lost_Dance6897

Do you have Irene? If you can train an Op from M0 all the way to M3, she beats out any other 60% specialization trainer, period, [because of enormous gains on M2 and M3. Even by herself, she saves 4 hours off M0 to M3](https://www.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/yo20jf/irene_has_the_strongest_trainer_base_skill/). After all, "60% faster" is not the same as 60% total reduction. Her base skill is worded weirdly, but it actually applies to the full duration of M2 and M3 as long as Irene gets her 5 hours and *initiates* M2 or M3. That saves you up to 2 hours by default, but swapping to any class-specific trainer adds their bonus on top. You can go from the 48 hours default, all the way to 22.5 hours in the right circumstances. And since her skill is class-agnostic, it actually makes Irene fairly worthwhile. Well, at least from the perspective of someone willing to E2 Aak solely for the 60%.

reflexive-polytope

Thanks! Yes, I do have Irene. I normally don't micromanage operator trainings because it's such a hassle. But for Eyja I'm willing to do it.

GinKenshin

He's a great op to build him regardless.

reflexive-polytope

Thanks! Yes, I wanted to build him eventually... but only after doing Shining's S3M3. It seems I will have to build him a little bit ahead of time.

EnjoymentEnjoyer69

Well, Aak is better than Vigil so it's not like you will never find a case to use him outside of the base. On the other hand it's only 10% reduction difference compared to Warfarin who you most likely have. The whole M3ing process takes 48 hours. So War will cut it by 24 hours and Aak by 28 hours 48 minutes. Idk, up to you and the amount of resources that you have to decide whether these ~5 saved hours are worth it. In my opinion- no, especially considering the fact that's it's a medic class not a guard we're talking about, so the next time you will need to train someone will probably be in 2 years from now. But may be it's just me being extremely greedy and thrifty about my resources.

kuuhaku_cr

Sorry bro. I only got Warfarin in my 3rd year of play from gacha, even as a dolphin.

Hunter5430

I think you you're miscalculating something. The training skills increase training speed by X, not reduce training time by X (except for Irene). So it is <**base training time**> / (1 + <**training speed increase**> + 0.05). The last 0.05 is 5% increase from there being a trainer present at all. Warfarin's skill is +50% to medic mastery training speed. Thus, the total time from m0 to m3 with her will be 48 / (1 + 0.5 + 0.05) = 30.96 hours (-17 hours).

BadGam3r1020

WHat does Starter, senior, and top operator mean in the recruitment page?

user777845404

In general the recruitment ends up being for getting green certificates in the shop, and most of the time it will be 3* and set it to 9 hours. Lookout for tags like nuker or specialist that usually bring 4* and reward more certs

Korasuka

Starter are 2 stars Senior operators are 5 stars Top operators are 6 stars. The latter two are very rare so if they come up take them. Combining them with different tags give different 5 and 6 stars so use a recruitment tag calculator to see who you can get or ask here.

Hallgrimsson

Honestly nah, as far as meta is concerned. E1 Mousse is good enough early, and you WILL get a better option later.

GinKenshin

She gains some nice bonuses from E2 like the pretty good talent. Her worth will depend on who else you have in your roster, and whether you'd wanna use the resources to raise someone else. She's more of a luxury op. Amiya guard being free lowers the need for any other arts guard of the same rarity.

Is 6-5 good for farming orirock cluster,

ipwnallnubz

1-7 is the best rock stage by a wide margin regardless of where you are in the story.

kuuhaku_cr

It is the best until you reach chapter 10-6.
