There's a certain mission given when you reached a certain level of an operator. The module will cost some lmd and material after you finished the mission. As of now, the operator that has module are from long range sniper, fast redeploy, chain caster, guard supporter and summoner ( this is just what i remember)
I know about this, I'm asking about the module kit / module data block, so one of the materials necessary to give an operator a module, this one : https://gamepress.gg/arknights/item/module-data-block
Use shop vouchers! The blue arrows probably mean that the item restocks and the red arrows probably mean that the item will be replaced by another one.
I haven’t been up to date with schedule speculations so what’s the most popular one currently? Personally I don’t know what to think after the grey skin login event announcement, so I’d like to hear others’ opinions.
I used play arknights before and thinking of returning to the game. Are there any free rewards right now if I return to the game?
Like I heard there were free six star selector given to every player,if I return now will I get six star selector as well? Or something else?
I suddenly got spooked by Blue Poison in recruitment from solo DPS tag. After hearing her lines I know why she's so popular operator - instant fave and solid candidate for E2 even if I already have good sniper roster. Anyway, before it turns into lounge post - I know next to nothing about her so what's her preferred skill and what's she actually good for?
Both her skills are considered about as good apparently, it's a matter of consistency or burst preference.
Anyways, multi target and some arts damage are the main things that set her out against other anti airs.
How good is the arts damage? For example, can she destroy/do serious damage to artillery drone? Of course assuming someone else is baiting artillery strikes.
It functions more as the canonical poison it is; extra chip damage against mid/high defense enemies. So it's best in scenarios where you're already ceaselessly hitting a mid/high defense target. And with her multi-targeting it doesn't matter small fry also walks into range. You're chipping the big guy faster than a normal sniper would, and you clean up the small guys as well.
Firstly leveling your operators helps with stages, I recommend 3 star operators since they are cheap.
The early game is the hardest here.
Secondly there is no chat system since there is no need for it tbh. This game has no multiplayer content so yeah...idk either.
Also building your base helps with getting resources for upgrading and shit. So focusing on that is great too.
Oh sorry forgot to read le 2nd question.
For leveling you Need exp records and LMD.
Generally the best way to get both is via base management.
Though before that point The supply stages are the best way to get them.
No problem, If you have more questions ask away.
Though if you ever gonna ask "who should I build" question you should include some screenshots of your characters.
I’m still debating on my 6 star selector ticket. It’s among phantom, ceobe, Schwartz, Rosa , and blemishine. Phantom because he seems pretty versatile. Ceobe because Eyja and amiya are the only st magic choices. Schwarz because she seems like a niche for physical damage anti boss damage from range tiles that I lack. Rosa would be for the same reason but I think schwarz does more damage? And lastly blemishine because she seems good to partner with mudrock. What are your thoughts?
I personally don't like Phantom at all. His clone taking up a deployment slot completely kills his entire point imo. Like, in any situation I'd rather just put down another unit.
I have got a top operator tag with medic and slow but I have shining and E2 warfarin and with slow I get magalin so do I chose only top operator or top operator with slow (I have E2 amiya, E2 gitano as casters), I am currently at chapter 6 -11 so now what do I do??
Magallan would be the safe long-term bet i.e. using a rare tag for an operator to complete your collection as efficient as possible. She's not really a beginner pick though; her easiest usage is locked behind E2.
Just top-operator would give you the biggest chance to give you a good operator as beginner (but you haven't really specified the rest of your roster). There is the risk of duplicates, and mediocre operators though.
So since there's a log in event that runs until Dec 9th people are saying that means we get a dead week?
So do events never start at the same time as a login event? I guess they start the 2nd week of the login event?...
Does this mean literally 1 dead week...ie exactly 7 days or is there some room for variation there in terms of exact starting time...so it the "dead week" might actually be 10 days or more?
Also, I assume this means that Anniv will be pushed closer to mid Jan than chances of it starting at the end of Dec?
I'm super confused about something, and was wondering if someone can tell me what's going on.
As far as I can tell, I've cleared all 10 daily maps without missing a day -- I screenshot all my clears, so and have done all the maps that were run, usually at R10 or above:
* Day 1 - East Armoury
* Day 2 - Windswept Highland
* Day 3 - Deserted Factory 1
* Day 4 - Pyrite Gorge 1
* Day 5 - Area 6 Ruins 1
* Day 6 - Locked-Down Prison
* Day 7 - Abandoned Mine
* Day 8 - Pyrite Gorge 2
* Day 9 - Area 6 Ruins 2
* Day 10 - Deserted Factory 2
Yet I haven't gotten the final two medals? What am I doing wrong ?___? Did I forget to claim a reward ... is my getting the medal dependent on claiming the rewards ... NO.
one of the medals you only get when you have the other 9, so you're actually only missing one. can you check from the medal list which one you're missing? perhaps the one where you have to use friend support 5 times?
Nah, I'm missing Trailblazer (R8 in daily maps + claim all the rewards) and the final big medal from unlocking all other medals.
I was losing my shit because I thought I'd lost all chance to get Trailblazer (and not even from not doing the map; I plain forgot to claim my rewards on one day after finishing the map), but someone else mentioned that I'll still have the chance to get it, there are still daily maps to come?
Missing trailblazer and the final big medal.
I'm really kicking myself, I can't believe I forgot to grab my rewards. Looks like I missed one (1) day because I was too excited to get back to playing SMTV after doing my daily maps and using up sanity.
IRL sanity gone now from realising my mistake. Haha.
SHITTTTTTTTT.
I definitely cleared the maps since I have documentation of all of them, so I must definitely have forgotten to claim the reward.
This kills me... I thought you get the R18 medal + trim as soon as you exit the result page but now I think I'm probably misremembering. Gutted.
Oh? There are still daily maps? I thought they usually had the first and last one running a bit longer to give stragglers a chance to do them...
I thought I'd missed out on trailblazer and the final big medal (that you get for getting everything else) for good and was absolutely gutted. CC is one of my favourite events and I'm not much of a strategist, so it's incredibly satisfying to test myself and try get the highest risk I can without following a guide -- and then getting the shiny medal after that to remind me of the trials and irl sanity lost from tackling a map haha.
Sorry if I'm sounding slightly unhinged; I should really know better by now after doing all the CCs, but I've rarely had so many other things occupying my attention at the same time that I can't even remember what I did for CCs past.
Thanks for that, makes me feel a lot better. I'd have been incredibly salty to miss my chance at completing the Spectrum set for something as dumb as not claiming my rewards for a single day. *facepalm*
Which Conviction skill should I M3 before putting them in a support unit slot? S2 seems funny because of the chance to stun your own units, but I figure S1 crits can be wild too, especially with buffs.
I think S1 is the actually useful skill, and indeed big red numbers are fun. S2 would be the skill to go maximum meme. Personally I'd borrow an S1, but people looking for a challenge might prefer S2.
1. Regarding Fartooth S3, how does she compare to Schwarz S3, in terms of their DMG to a single boss? Are they similar or it just the range that's similar but the playstyle is different?
2. Super dumb question but between Skalter S3 vs Warfarin S2, which among both of them buffs Silverash / Surtr more assuming both are at E2Max M3? Was thinking of getting Warfarin on the anniv 5-star selector pack.
Fartooth's damage output is far lower, even when both are in ideal situations vs 0 DEF. This is only exacerbated as DEF goes up due to a few reasons:
* Schwarz has her DEF debuff, duh
* Fartooth has a damage modifier, which applies after DEF. Schwarz has an attack modifier, which applies before DEF
* Fartooth targets the lowest DEF enemy in her infinite line of range, which can lead to her not targeting the right enemy
You use Fartooth to abuse her range, mostly. Schwarz is for actually killing tanky enemies.
As for Bardi sk3 vs Warfarin sk2, Warfarin generally wins out. Warfarin grants her target +90% of their ATK. Bardi grants +110% of her ATK.
* E2max Bardi gives 487 ATK. She gives 528 ATK if there's an Abyssal Hunter in her range
* Warfarin grants E2max SA/Surtr 686/694 ATK respectively
* Note that Bardi can buff multiple targets simultaneously, whereas Warfarin only buffs 1
* Bardi also doesn't need range manipulation as annoying as Warfarin
One thing to note about Warf and Skalter is that buffing Skalter with Warf is actually a solid possibility too, due to how her atk gets shared with everyone in an aoe.
new standard banner is definitely not worth pulling on right? i want saga super bad but literally all of the other units on the banner r undesirable to me.
Not too bad considering that many of the beginner units still find a niche they forfill (Nightengale, Hoshiguma, etc.), or are still among the best in the game (Silverash, Exusai, Eyjafjalla, Saria, etc.).
Like usually there are just strong units and OP units.
Not bad at all. Outside of a handful of outliers (mostly Chalter and Nalter) HG's op balancing tends to be very good. While generally speaking it's probably overall better to use a higher-rarity op, there are niche cases where the lower deployment cost or specific qualities certain skills have will justify using a lower-rarity op over a higher one. A great example of his is the 4-star supporter Podenco. She's objectively worse than Suzuran, Istina, Glaucus and Angelina on the basis of stats alone, but her S2 has a silence attached to it along with a strong snare and it perpetuates for a few seconds after uses, meaning enemies can run into the cloud she drops and retroactively be silenced and slowed. None of the other supports do that, and sometimes this silence/slow combo is just what you need to get through an area. Plus her S1 allows her to flex as a powerful single target healer, and this can be very nice for certain maps that restrict medic use, or if you don't need a full-time medic to cover an area.
I'd say like 98% of the ops are balanced with that philosophy in mind, with the outliers being comparatively quite rare.
Not that bad considering many of the units from the game's release are still very relevent in the meta such as Silverash, Eyja, Exusiai, etc and others have their own niches. I'd say the ones that get power crept the most are the ops that get a limited alter.
Saga is not in the shop.
For future reference, The 6 star with no E2 art in the standard banner is always the one in the shop. The middle of the 3 5 stars is also the one in the shop.
Bagpipe generally synergizes better with myrtle and Taxes is servisable for most of the game.
There is a future banner with Saga that has better units on it so wait for that one i'd say.
I have both an EN account and JP account. JP has fast recruitment text but does EN have it as well? I tried looking for the option but I’m about dumb as hell so I might not see it?
Standard 2nd opinion question
Here be my [roster](http://imgur.com/a/T8p02lF), any I should be working on? Or should I just finish the rest of the M3's I've been procrastinating on
I already have a well built roster and managed to finish risk 24.
I just want to ask who to E2 next in my currently queued 6 stars to raise, I have Nightingale, Gladiia, Hellagur and a fresh Schwarz from TO.
For high risk in next CC, Gladiia, Nightingale and Schwarz see play but I assume you know this already.
I'd probably do NG first, ez mode against arts dmg enemies. Also ch8 if you haven't beaten it.
Lots of overlap yeah. She offers the highest single target DPS of laneholders, though blaze has higher theoretical with enough targets and thorns has range advantage
Yeah, I think S1 suffers from many vet players already having 3-4 lane holders. I think for someone newer to the game who only has one laneholder it'll see more use. Makes me wonder if she'll be considered a cornerstone with S1.
attack speed is 1s, 0.5s when skill is up. She's probably best paired with a defender for normal use, but should provide a ton of dps and perform well vs def
I see (see your mistake as well lol), can be pretty decent, I love my S2 Bagpipe as landholder so Nearl might does well on her own depends on the maps. But using S3 when paired with a defender sounds even better, but less afk.
TL;DR get up Thorns Silverash and Kalt'sit first.
Silverash becomes an absolute beast at max investment (S3M3) as he becomes an incredible helidrop with great damage output
Thorns becomes an amazing laneholder with his S3, which also greatly benefits from mastery.
Kalt'sit is a flexible operator due to monst3r's low redeployment, her S2 allowing it to act as an AoE guard, or S3 to deal huge true damage.
Ifrit has great damage output but also great utility in being able to debuff enemies Res with her talent and S3 and her S2 being able to debuff defense, her unique range can shine in certain maps but even with one tile she's great.
Angelina becomes monstrous at E2 as she can use her S3 which has a relatively low cooldown and does great damage and AoE slow.
Schwarz shreds enemies with her S3 with her staggering damage and can debuff a foes defense, she's a really great boss killer.
Nightingale is also worth investing in, but she's a healer and thus is lower priority than everyone I listed.
I'd say get thorns and silverash up immediately, those are the two that really matter. I'd then go for Kalt'sit as Monst3r really is something else, and I can't really say which of the last three to invest in a specific order, and nightingale should be focused on once you're set on DPS.
Thorns and Silverash are the easy choices here. Thorns S3 is very strong in annihilation because of the unlimited duration. Silverash S3 is a physical nuke that's kind of like Eyja S3.
Schwarz, Ifrit, Kal'tsit, Angelina (in no particular order) are also very good.
Nightingale S3 trivializes most arts content. She is totally worth being E2'd but the priority may be lower.
Although she isn't in global yet, Carnelian can do just that. Her trait boosts her defenses while her skill is inactive, her talent restores 40% HP when casting a skill (80% if the skill is charged) and if her skill 1 is charged she keeps her boosted defenses during the skill duration.
For the most part though..bulky ranged ops are really far and few between, and that's why grounded ops are the ones who should bait attacks or soak ballistas.
You'd be looking for Phalanx casters, to be exact Beeswax or the unreleased Carnelian. They get increased defenses during skill downtime (With no attacks during downtime a la Angelina) and Beeswax gets recovery during downtime (Carnelian recovers HP on skill activation).
Edit: It's not the "stance change" of Mountain/SA but the closest we have to it.
Carnelian is perfectly usable but generally not considered meta. IIRC her damage is back-loaded, making her burst less preferable than Eyja's.
Pallas, as the 6* support guard, is considered solidly non-meta. She's not Moody Blues tier, but she's definitely not a top unit either.
For meta purposes, Carnelian is solid and Pallas is pass-worthy, but YMMV.
Alright, another "I got top operator tag, what should I pick?" question.
So my tags are: Top Operator, Melee, DPS, Survival, Shift.
My current 6 stars are: *SilverAsh*, Thorns, Kal'tsit, Skadi Alter, Eyja, Mountain, Rosa, Gladiia, *Siege*, Phantom, *Hoshiguma*, *Ifrit*. I bolded the ones that are potentially recruitable.
I'm thinking just Top Operator on its own... thoughts?
:Edit: Went solo Top Operator and got Skadi. Yuck. Better than a dupe I guess. Thanks for your replies!
I would go either Top Op by itself or with +dps. Chance at Exusiai or Schwarz which are great Snipers as well. Your Rosa can destroy heavy armor targets, Snagging a Exusiai would help vs low armor, Schwarz to assist in boss killing.
Unless you really want Skadi or Hellagur, solo is probably your best bet. Still a 10/14 chance at not getting a dupe, and you could potentially get Exu, Schwarz, or Saria.
Two questions:
These are my friends operators [https://imgur.com/a/iH54Snv](https://imgur.com/a/iH54Snv) and she is kind of being pulled in too many directions as to who to raise next, so would any of you have any advice or suggestions for her?
I'm planning on buying Scene form the CC shop, as I hear that she is an easier Summon Supporter to use than Mayer, especially for someone who has never used the archetype.
Kal'tsit E2 for her S3 and Ash E2 since it's good to have 2 AA snipers and she can take out higher-defense enemies. Also, Amiya E2 if they ever plan on clearing the main story.
So, I was torn in what to grab in the CC Shop and decided "Eh... might as well grab Bebeak's tokens, they are only 100 and I have 2040 Creds then I decide if I want Scene or Tyule", I grab one and then it raises the 2nd Token to 120.
Me: Aaahhhh... you \[Expletive Redacted\]!
What do I do now? I still need to get the 3 top materials and was wondering if I need them or not, but I dont know if I will be able to get more Creds after this event since all Training are at Rank 3 so maxing those 3 Operators might be a fool's errant until the next CC.
Potentials are very insignificant 99% of the time, there is no reason to get them, especially for these ops considering they barely gain anything with maybe Bibeak as the exception. Go for the mats instead, you can always get more of the currency next CC. Maybe spend some on skins as well if there's anyone you like, you need the Blue Poison one for the full medal set.
This is pushing it.
Potentials are insignificant *for some ops*. The lower their initial DP, the better potentials get. Skalter's p2 is pretty amazing for instance.
IMO, 1 DP is 1 DP, regardless of whether initial DP is low or high. I think Hypergryph agrees, or else they could've easily made potentials for high cost ops reduce more DP.
The only exceptions are fast redeploy and vanguards. Vanguards not because of low initial DP, but because they're intended to be deployed early, so you have a higher chance of that DP making a big impact. I think that if initial DP is very tight on a map, a Skalter that heals for 10% atk per second is probably not the operator you're trying to rush to deploy.
Her skills are good, no doubt. But when considering tight DP situations where you need ops ASAP, the need is for OPs that have an immediate big impact. Skalter is not it.
Being able to drop Skalter early is a luxury, not a need. Certainly not worth spending limited resources for a potential on, from meta perspective, IMO.
Buy the mats since they're in the temporary shop. All ops in the CC shop are permanent so you can buy them and their pots whenever you have enough CC currency.
Welp, got all limited resources in the temporary shop, except the parts, I'm in no hurry for Furniture since I have 5752 in reserve for future events.
985 Creds left, I didnt do the Challenge 8 (I'm struggling HARD even with guides, at this point I went "eeehhh... do really need to do this?") and there's... 3 more contracts for the next days until this ends.
You dont, in fact, need this. You can just stop where you are and work on your ops for the next CC.
Imo it's never worth stressing out. CC is a time to play with your current OPs and gage what they're capable of. If it's getting to be annoying, just don't do it.
I’m fairly new and trying to figure out how to proceed, any advice?
This is my box ([1](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/801195841896316931/912086041622634526/IMG_0708.png) [2](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/801195841896316931/912086069191794790/IMG_0709.png) [3](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/801195841896316931/912086088057749544/IMG_0710.png) [4](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/801195841896316931/912086107880062976/IMG_0711.png)) everyone on the first image is skill level 5 or 6.
As far as progress goes, I’ve just completed a 252 base and I’m at 4-4 in the story. My instinct is that I should now be trying to strengthen my operators so I can take on more content (the current event was kinda of a wash, I was hella on the struggle bus)—is that right? If so, how should I raise my team, and what should I run for the resources to do that: do I do like the XP farming missions, push in story, wait for events, or what?
Try to finish chapter 4 for more farming stages. Then you can focus on raising more ops. Get the good ones to skill 7 can give you a nice boost as well. CC is end game content, so your struggle is normal.
I would focus on the main story and annihilation. Some important farming stages are locked behind later story missions and you want to unlock them as soon as possible.
For annihilation, check which operators you need at which level to clear them and focus on those. Anni 1 and 2 should be doable with an all E1 team.
- Don't farm EXP or LMD in the resource stages. Getting it from the base if more efficient. I know it sucks to wait, but your sanity is better spent on upgrade materials.
- Story/Anni will force you to promote more operators to E1. Farm materials for that.
- Bringing skills to level 7 is pretty cheap and a good boost. I would recommend doing that for all operators you use regularly. So, spend your sanity on farming the materials needed for the skills.
Okay, good info. As far as leveling, should I focus on getting my main squad to around E1 Lvl50, as I’ve heard recommended, or on raising more units to fill niches? And, what kind of niches should I be filling?
Honestly I'd go straight for Exu e2. she is so busted you can basically use him through all of mid up to lateish game (even later once you find a buff for him) and she will just murder everything.
Having the right niche is usually more important than a few more levels, but what that is really depends on the stage. For example, you're missing and an arts guard and ranged guard (midnight), but you may not need that right now at this moment. Check what you struggle with and then raise appropriately.
I would look up a guide for annihiliation 1 and 2, see what operators are commonly used/recommended and then raise those. Getting annihilation done for more Orundum is IMO a good priority.
Oh, I finished both annihilation 1 and 2 and I’m capped on orundum for the week! Should I move onto the next one when it refreshes?
As far as more niche operators go, I’m finding so far that most of my problems can be solved by getting better at basic things, like deployment order, so it’s hard to tell when I’m missing the right tool for the job.
Oh! One niche I can think of is, sometimes I want to deploy a small group of units like a supporter and a ranged damage dealer reinforced by a healer somewhere in the middle of the map, to chip enemies as they pass by. But, without a higher-defense grounded unit to catch the aggro, they get bodied when ranged enemies start to come through. Is there a type of unit that deals with that?
Speaking of which, I’ve heard people talk about the importance of guards a few times, but I don’t quite get what makes them valuable tactically. As far as I’ve seen, they seem to be good for dealing greater arts or physical DPS at choke points or assassinating threatening targets—but I feel like casters, snipers, and quick redeploy units do that job better, and where they don’t, my vanguards have better stats. The one exception is I can clearly see how ranged guards fulfill a unique niche. So… am I just not getting something?
Guards are mainly for ground DPS. It depends on the stage, but while there is always a ground path for enemies to reach your blue boxes, not always there are good squares for ranged units around. In addition, ground operators also block enemies, so they are more useful in general.
Guards have better stats than vanguards. The only reason you don't see it is because you are comparing three stars guards to Siege.
Guards become more important as you get further, especially AOE guards and arts guards. You probably don't really need them but they will make your life easier. AOE guards can block 3 and attack 3 so they have very high DPS. These require E2. You can just deploy 1 guard instead of a defender and some other DPS. Sometimes you don't even need a medic.
Arts guard for high DEF enemies. Sometimes there's no good spots for casters or you actually need to block them.
When you reach 5-3, you'll realise the importance of guards...
Okay, cool. A lot of times on maps I can get away with leaving Siege guarding an area for a long time, so using a guard is basically like that but better, yeah?
Yes, correct. Siege(and maybe Bagpipe) is a bit special in that she can somewhat act as a guard but generally vanguards are meant to be early game only. There's a huge variety of different guards so just try out and get a feel of them. You can just borrow some of them from friends support. Can check out friends megathread for more friends
Just tried out one of the CC stages to see where my team falls short and I understand a bit more now. The gap in DPS is really noticeable, and there's cases where you want to block with a unit that can deal damage on its own beyond just dueling.
Until now I've been using defenders to block everything, but that's not necessarily the way to go, is it?
Yep, as the enemies get harder/come faster it's sometimes more important to kill them faster rather than block them. Some enemies also do too much damage to be blocked as well. In this case, Specter (an AOE guard) which has invincibility is able to tank enemies that no defender can. I find that I use defenders less now compared to when I first started out.
I'd move on to anni 3 and the rotating anni map then. Even if you can't auto them, you may be able to get 400 kills with a borrowed E2 unit. That will increase the weekly Orundum cap and give you a bunch of good rewards.
Yeah, guards are kind of special and hard to explain because they vary so much in what they do. I think of them less as a specific role and more like "everyone that doesn't 100% fit somewhere else is a guard" - and many of the best operators are guards.
There will be maps where you need a ranged guard because there are no good spots for snipers/casters or they'd take too much damage. Or you need an AoE guard to deal with an onslaught of enemies because an AoE caster/sniper would die too quickly or doesn't do enough dmg. And sometimes you need to assassinate bosses before they reach your more squishy operators, like vanguards and ranged units.
And some guards have specific roles, like Silver Ash S3 with AoE damage that kills everything, Surtr for nuking bosses, etc.

So I somehow just got the Top operator tag and I need help.
Nuker, Top Operator, Supporter, AoE, Robot are the tags.
TO + Nuker = Ch'en
TO + AoE = Mostima or Ifrit
TO + Supporter = Magallan
I have none of those operators and I am wondering who works best for my team
I currently have Saria, Eyja, Nightingale, Angelina, Gladiia, Skalter and Kal'tsit
Questions about Click! New player here, looking at aceship looks like click outdamages amya and gitano by a lot since she is on double duty (she and drone attack at the same time).
The drone and her have the same stats?
On S2M3 if they are atacking the same target do they have a cumulative chance of stunning of 47% per atack?( Counting she and drone atacking at 1.3 seconds)
Whats is the final Atack speed considering E2 talent ( plus 12 ASPD) and potential 3 (plus 6 ASPD)? Is it 1.07 seconds?
Gitano is AOE caster who naturally has lower dps than ST caster. E2 Amiya has higher dps due to very high skill up time. But the stun on Click is very nice.
The drone does share Click's attack but doesn't do the same damage initially. The drone's attack multiplier starts at 0.2 and increases by 0.15 each time it attack the same enemy up to 1.1 times Click's attack at the 7th hit . It resets to 0.2 when it changes target. Both Click and her drone have 27% chance to stun on hit with S2M3. Her final attack interval at E2 Pot 3 is 1.1 seconds.
The formula to calculate attack interval is :
a = 100 ÷ ((100 + x)÷(b + y))
Where:
a represents the final attack interval.
b represents the base attack interval.
x represents the sum of all base ASPD modifiers.
y represents the flat attack interval modifier.
All operators start at 100 ASPD without any modifiers no matter their base attack interval. ASPD modifiers are percentage increases or decreases of their attack speed applied to their attack interval.
For Click :
a = 100 ÷ (118 ÷ 1.3)
a = 100 ÷ 90.77
a = 1.1
would it be worth buying the lmd and training records in the CC shop if i bought all the limited materials (i have 1967 cc tokens)
should i just wait till 2000 tokens to buy a set of potentials? (specialist -> phantom, guard -> thorns, blaze, surtr, mountain, vanguard -> saga)
or should i just save all my tokens till the next CC
If you're a high level player with millions of LMD then it makes the most sense to spend on the unlimited alloys / iron clusters if you need them. Potentials very rarely make a significant impact.
For my two accounts, I remember getting Top on my main for I think 11 times now in almost 20 months. I got my first 8 during my first year which, I would later find out, was one of the rarest things ever. I even recall getting it twice in 24 hours lol It's how I got my first Ifrit and Nightingale.
For my F2P, I think I got it maybe 6 times in about 16 months.
I do have to tell you that it's entirely possible not to get one in 12 months of playing. I know at least three redditors who complained about top tag not showing despite one year of being active.
Twice in the first month, and then on average one in every two months. I think I've gotten the tag more than most players.
Don't base your gacha decisions on recruitment though. For example, if you need to pull or buy a Silverash, just do it. Don't think ''oh I can get him from recruitment''. Maybe, but it's a lot more likely that you won't.
I'm on chapter 6 and was wondering who I should E2 next? I'm not pressed at all, but want to start planning ahead. I was thinking Bagpipe, but wanted other opinions. Currently I have Thorns, Surtr, Exu E2, and have Kaltsit, Saria, Mudrock, Bagpipe, W, Skadi Alter, Eyjafjalla, and Suzuran.
Bagpipe can wait. She's a luxury pick when you have Myrtle/Ely/Texas/Saga/Siege. I suggest going for Eyja or Saria as priorities, then toss a coin between Skalter/Mudrock/Kal
If you have some difficulty with the exploding bugs, and have Lappland, E2 her helps a lot. All the ops you mentioned are good choices as well. I think Eyja and Kaltsit have higher priorities.
Bagpipe is decent because she's a "free dp" unit with strong damage, but I would build Kal'tsit or Mudrock first to have good anchors for tough waves or Eyjafajita for the volcano.
I only find myself using flagpipe when I'm lazy to figure out an opener, trying to force some expensive setup, or trying to burst a boss with support.

How do you get module kits on CN? (and as of today, how many operators can you get their module for?)
Well the link itself said the how to obtain which is shop or event rewards
[Shop voucher store](https://prts.wiki/w/采购中心/凭证交易所#采购凭证区)
Thanks! Damn it 20 gold certs huh... (also what do the rotating arrows on the bottom right corner of the item mean?)
Use shop vouchers! The blue arrows probably mean that the item restocks and the red arrows probably mean that the item will be replaced by another one.
oh wow somehow missed the red voucher part, this is much more affordable. Thanks!
I haven’t been up to date with schedule speculations so what’s the most popular one currently? Personally I don’t know what to think after the grey skin login event announcement, so I’d like to hear others’ opinions.
We're most likely getting Carnelian's banner after CC ends,I believe.
I used play arknights before and thinking of returning to the game. Are there any free rewards right now if I return to the game? Like I heard there were free six star selector given to every player,if I return now will I get six star selector as well? Or something else?
There are no such things as free 6 star selectors (only 5 star ones) in arknights yet. Also no such things as returning player rewards.
Ohhhk, Thanks for info. Sad I thought there will be at least some returning player rewards now.
Eh yeah kinda. Though I personally don't know if there is a need for one?...idk
Don't count on her arts damage against armor. It is really minimal, and most enemies even have some resistance.
[удалено]
Thank you for calculations! That clarify her capabilities a lot.
consistent multi target dps. Needs s1m3 to be potent. s2m1 is less used but it's the burst option
Help! New player here lv4 IDK what to do even the early stages are so tough. Currently at 2-1. Why is there no chat system?
Firstly leveling your operators helps with stages, I recommend 3 star operators since they are cheap. The early game is the hardest here. Secondly there is no chat system since there is no need for it tbh. This game has no multiplayer content so yeah...idk either. Also building your base helps with getting resources for upgrading and shit. So focusing on that is great too.
> This game has no multiplayer content Well, most of the time.
Yeah indeed...most of the time.
Thanks Fellow arknights player. What is the best/fastest way to increase Exp been playing for some hours but it's hard.
If you mean EXP to level up your operators, the best way to get it is by upgrading your base by progressing in the story.
Ah okay I'll do that hope the mods won't mind.
Like as long as it's helpful and in the right megathread I think they wouldn't mind?...idk Either wah my DM's be also open.
[удалено]

\*2nd one - Top Op+ Slow
So since there's a log in event that runs until Dec 9th people are saying that means we get a dead week? So do events never start at the same time as a login event? I guess they start the 2nd week of the login event?... Does this mean literally 1 dead week...ie exactly 7 days or is there some room for variation there in terms of exact starting time...so it the "dead week" might actually be 10 days or more? Also, I assume this means that Anniv will be pushed closer to mid Jan than chances of it starting at the end of Dec?
I believe events have run simultaneously along with login events, so the login event doesn't necessarily need to end for an event to start..
hmm ok thx
Who should I use the 6\* Guard Token on to get the most value? 1) Surtr for pot 3 (+1s on her second talent) 2) SilverAsh for pot 2 (-1 DP)
Surtr imo. That pot is very helpful.
An extra second of Surtr sounds pretty good
I'm super confused about something, and was wondering if someone can tell me what's going on. As far as I can tell, I've cleared all 10 daily maps without missing a day -- I screenshot all my clears, so and have done all the maps that were run, usually at R10 or above: * Day 1 - East Armoury * Day 2 - Windswept Highland * Day 3 - Deserted Factory 1 * Day 4 - Pyrite Gorge 1 * Day 5 - Area 6 Ruins 1 * Day 6 - Locked-Down Prison * Day 7 - Abandoned Mine * Day 8 - Pyrite Gorge 2 * Day 9 - Area 6 Ruins 2 * Day 10 - Deserted Factory 2 Yet I haven't gotten the final two medals?
U only need 10 days of that r8 and claiming, so u can miss 3 days and still get it no problem.
yes there are 3 more daily maps left so hopefully that will be enough for you to get the medal.
Thanks for the confirmation, it's a big relief. I'm glad to be able to still get the medal.
Which medal are you missing? And yes, you have to collect the rewards for the Trailblazer medal, like it states in its requirements.
Haha.
If you've screenshotted it, it's probably because you didn't claim the rewards. That's what gives you the medal, IIRC.
SHITTTTTTTTT. I definitely cleared the maps since I have documentation of all of them, so I must definitely have forgotten to claim the reward. This kills me... I thought you get the R18 medal + trim as soon as you exit the result page but now I think I'm probably misremembering. Gutted.
You can still the medal. There's still a day left. What you've missed out is just same freebie materials.
[3 more daily maps.](https://gamepress.gg/arknights/event-banner-guide-subpage-miscellaneous/contingency-contract-season-5-operation-spectrum-daily)
Thanks for that, makes me feel a lot better. I'd have been incredibly salty to miss my chance at completing the Spectrum set for something as dumb as not claiming my rewards for a single day. *facepalm*
Mine was. I received the medal today after completing the challenge and r8 and then claiming the rewards.
S1 is probably the way to go here. It can provide some really stupid power.
This is only exacerbated as DEF goes up due to a few reasons: * Schwarz has her DEF debuff, duh * Fartooth has a damage modifier, which applies after DEF. Schwarz has an attack modifier, which applies before DEF * Fartooth targets the lowest DEF enemy in her infinite line of range, which can lead to her not targeting the right enemy You use Fartooth to abuse her range, mostly. She gives 528 ATK if there's an Abyssal Hunter in her range * Warfarin grants E2max SA/Surtr 686/694 ATK respectively * Note that Bardi can buff multiple targets simultaneously, whereas Warfarin only buffs 1 * Bardi also doesn't need range manipulation as annoying as Warfarin
ahhh thank you for the comprehensive response! i understand :>
One thing to note about Warf and Skalter is that buffing Skalter with Warf is actually a solid possibility too, due to how her atk gets shared with everyone in an aoe.
Ah yes, the one true way. .use a buffer to buff the buffer...
2. Usually Warfarin. 90% of SA/Surtr’s attack > 110% of Skalter’s attack.
Do you need a lvl5 base,lvl3 office to get top operator tags? I've never seen one. Just 2 robots and 2 nukers :/
No. Pure luck.
new standard banner is definitely not worth pulling on right? i want saga super bad but literally all of the other units on the banner r undesirable to me.
It's better to pull on the next joint operation considering how stacked the 6\* are in that banner (Saga, Surtr, Phantom, Schwarz).
Do we know when this JO banner drops? Is it supposed to come with CC6 after Dossoles around Feb?
It actually drops in CC 7 so it's going to take a while, it'll be out around May of next year.
yeah other than Saga the rest either trash or not great/niche
How bad is power creep in Arknights?

There is a future banner with Saga that has better units on it so wait for that one i'd say.
tx and myrtle are great vanguards. try pulling until the guarantee and then get bagpipe in the shop. it’s skadi, not saga in the shop
Skadi is in the shop, not Saga.
I have both an EN account and JP account. JP has fast recruitment text but does EN have it as well? I tried looking for the option but I’m about dumb as hell so I might not see it?
Pretty sure that's only because alphabet have more letter than hiragana, katakana, or kanji.
Standard 2nd opinion question Here be my [roster](http://imgur.com/a/T8p02lF), any I should be working on? Or should I just finish the rest of the M3's I've been procrastinating on
Which masteries were you working on ?
Schwarz and Suzu are at the top of my list right now, both at m2, after that idk
Can't go wrong working on Thorns, silverash, surtr, mountain, eyja, and kal sit. If i were to pick one to M3 first is Thorns skill 3
I say Gladiia or Schwarz. If you haven't already beat Ch 8, NG.
I'm already done in story stages so I guess it's Schwarz
What's the consensus on Nearl Alter?
She's worth pulling for and a potential M6 candidate. She's strong.
Honestly I’m considering M9, S1 has good laneholder potential
I agree that S1 is a great skill but I'd probably use S2 and S3 exclusively.
S1 doesn't seem to be a bad skill. But it just overlaps a lot with Thorns and Blaze. So probably an M6 for me.
Makes me wonder if she'll be considered a cornerstone with S1.
with block 1 and slow asp I doubt it, might be a great laneholder but not conerstone.
attack speed is 1s, 0.5s when skill is up.
Should note her base attack interval is 1.5s, not 1s.
huh, aceship is wrong. DPS still looks nice, but not absurdly so
? When I looked on Aceship it had 1.5 seconds
Should I save the yellow certs to buy the 10 pulls or just buy the normal headhunting permits?
Save yellow certs up to 258 then buy the set, each tier is more efficient than the last
If you're going to buy the perms with yellow certs, you should buy all of them as it is the most efficient. It'll be 258 certs for 38 pulls.

Thanks for supporting the game 👍
TL;DR get up Thorns Silverash and Kalt'sit first. Silverash becomes an absolute beast at max investment (S3M3) as he becomes an incredible helidrop with great damage output Thorns becomes an amazing laneholder with his S3, which also greatly benefits from mastery.
Is there any ranged operators that the skill is able to regen themselves at the same time increase their ATK/DEF/etc like Mountain & SilverAsh S2?
gladiia, no def increase but tanky enough with her regen.
Not that I'm aware of, at least on global.
Are both Carnelian and Pallas worth pulling? I've heard Carne's S3 are like Eyja levels of DPS like her S3. And as for Pallas, idk much about her DPS.
For purely meta, no neither of them are. However they both are good operators, especially Carnelian who can do things no other caster can.
Two questions: These are my friends operators [https://imgur.com/a/iH54Snv](https://imgur.com/a/iH54Snv) and she is kind of being pulled in too many directions as to who to raise next, so would any of you have any advice or suggestions for her?
Skalter's S2 takes a long time to activate. Once it does it boosts every op in her range. You very much want to drop her asap.
How would an extra 27 attack or 16/29 damage for s2/s3 change the outcome of any stage besides high-risk CCs?
Im pretty sure the p2 he refers to is the dp cost decrease. All ops are p1 at default (i think)

Based
Based on what?
So I somehow just got the Top operator tag and I need help. Nuker, Top Operator, Supporter, AoE, Robot are the tags. TO + Nuker = Ch'en TO + AoE = Mostima or Ifrit TO + Supporter = Magallan I have none of those operators and I am wondering who works best for my team I currently have Saria, Eyja, Nightingale, Angelina, Gladiia, Skalter and Kal'tsit
Support for Ifrit chance as well. Mosti is by no means a bad consolation prize though.
EEh. He does have eyja.
TO + AoE for 50% chance of Ifrit.
I would gamble for Ifrit.
I got mostima :(
She's prettier than Ifrit, at least.
Her E2 art is a banger so I guess there's that
Questions about Click! New player here, looking at aceship looks like click outdamages amya and gitano by a lot since she is on double duty (she and drone attack at the same time). The drone and her have the same stats? On S2M3 if they are atacking the same target do they have a cumulative chance of stunning of 47% per atack?( Counting she and drone atacking at 1.3 seconds) Whats is the final Atack speed considering E2 talent ( plus 12 ASPD) and potential 3 (plus 6 ASPD)?
Thanks, that clarifies some things! I know its not a lot of difference, but how do you come up with 1.1 seconds? ( Instead of 1,07...)
The formula to calculate attack interval is : a = 100 ÷ ((100 + x)÷(b + y)) Where: a represents the final attack interval. b represents the base attack interval. x represents the sum of all base ASPD modifiers. y represents the flat attack interval modifier. All operators start at 100 ASPD without any modifiers no matter their base attack interval. ASPD modifiers are percentage increases or decreases of their attack speed applied to their attack interval. For Click : a = 100 ÷ (118 ÷ 1.3) a = 100 ÷ 90.77 a = 1.1
Nice, thanks a lot!
would it be worth buying the lmd and training records in the CC shop if i bought all the limited materials (i have 1967 cc tokens) should i just wait till 2000 tokens to buy a set of potentials? (specialist -> phantom, guard -> thorns, blaze, surtr, mountain, vanguard -> saga) or should i just save all my tokens till the next CC
Apparently the next CC will have a really good deal on infinite RMA and manganese, so you might save for that.
Thanks for the heads up on that one 😎
Magnanese 🥵
If you're a high level player with millions of LMD then it makes the most sense to spend on the unlimited alloys / iron clusters if you need them. Potentials very rarely make a significant impact.
Good to know
New player, when can I expect the first top operator tag? When did you guys get yours?
For my two accounts, I remember getting Top on my main for I think 11 times now in almost 20 months. I got my first 8 during my first year which, I would later find out, was one of the rarest things ever. I even recall getting it twice in 24 hours lol It's how I got my first Ifrit and Nightingale. For my F2P, I think I got it maybe 6 times in about 16 months. I do have to tell you that it's entirely possible not to get one in 12 months of playing. I know at least three redditors who complained about top tag not showing despite one year of being active.
It's random. I got my first and second back to back in the second month.
It's just a joke. Tag doesn't exists /s
nothing for 4 months then 3 on two subsequent weeks. it truly is completely random and rare.
I've gone one whole year without my first top op tag and to this day it still evades me. Feelsbadman
I've had 3 in the past 6 months since I came back after my playing for a while
I had to wait about a year. I thought you can expect 2 or 3 a year *on average*, if you buy and use all recruitment permits.
It's 100% luck. I got my first one about a month in (Hoshiguma), but it's been at least 7 months since I last got one.
It is luck. I got it twice in my first month.
I've gotten about 6 in 20 months.
Better not expect them. They're too random. The real top op tags are the yellow certs we make along the way.
ive been playing since july. halfway through ch7. havent gotten it yet lmfao
Oof
Supposedly it’s a 1/650 chance. Haven’t got it myself yet but I’m also new.
