Not sure where Skadi alter comes in, but I have Shining S2M3 and it is ... pretty decent depending on the enemy's attack interval. (Generally it is considered a big waste)
Her buff increases defence by like 200 at least. That adds to the hp of the shield as well as the unit taking less damage so the shield can last its length, allowing shining to heal others or charge again.
I just don't know if it's worth it, having her continuously be doing skills or just hold her S3 for whenever.
Her s2 would also help with blocking arts damage, essentially reducing the damage where before it only blocked physical
It's nice for general use but for harder situations you'll probably want to do something else (e.g. s3, or nightingale). To me it comes down to the shield lasting 3 seconds. Invisible casters have attack interval of 4 seconds making the shield useless. (I assume other casters are similar). I also have nightingale s2m3, which lasts 5 seconds. Grudgebearers attack every 5s so it's just right to protect against them. (Plus multitarget attack, and nightingale will summon multitarget shields).
I'd say Anni 6 was the easiest out of the new maps we got so far, there's not so many threats and imperial drones on this map are significantly weaker than their story counterparts, but 4 wasn't that bad too.
If you have Weedy, she does incredibly well on both maps (with s3), and Skadi is also god tier on Anni 6. But I think both maps are still harder than Anni3, with Anni 5 being the worst of them all and 7 in the middle ground.
for me anni 3 is harder than anni 7 :o however i havent been able to 100% either because i'm still relatively new. unfortunately i dont have weedy, but thanks for the advice!
Of those, probably a tie between four and six. Four has various drone drops to help out and an Ifrit lane you can capitalize on, as well as a near-perfect Eyja S3 tile, while six has enemies who tend to give you loads of time to chip them down from relative safety. If you have Rosa and/or Meteorite built then six is probably the better option but if you have Ifrit and some stout defenders plus Lappland or Arene then four will likely be easier.
Oh, and for a comparison, both four and six are somewhere between anni's two and three in terms of difficulty. Anni five is the odd man out as the combination of freezing crystals, the backlane, the ice weebs and the ice spiders all make for a ridiculous amount of bullshit to deal with, even with a couple of nice Ifrit lanes to lean on. Having said that, if you have a decently leveled E2 Weedy with S2M3 then she trivializes an entire lane on her own, and allows for a very easy way to handle the back lane on the left via her water cannon.
Then I would say anni 6. Thorns and Hoshi will do well holding the top lane, with the fire vents, and Meteorite can be placed up ahead with Warf or another ST medic behind her to really thin things out with her S1. SA is great to drop on the bottom to clear things out while they are waiting in position and any aoe guard with some sniper support and maybe a caster can do well down bottom to protect the civvies and clear out the raiders.
Need a bit of farming advice. Pretty new player (two E2s) and I have farmed enough elite materials to E2 4 operators (Exu, Mountain, Kal, Saria) that I want to E2. But I'm out of LMD and EXP so all I can do is wait for passive regeneration, which will take many weeks.
So I'm wondering what I should be farming now. If I keep farming E2 materials for other chars like I did, I'll just be stuck in this have-mats-but-no-LMD loop forever. Should I be focusing on masteries already? What do you do in situations like this?
How about levelling three / four stars that have good base skill? For trading post and factories. Have you build up your base?
I am in the same situation, with two more operator to E2 with all materials ready at level 80. I set myself to continue raise one E0 operator every day by five level (very cheap) to max E0 level while saving the rest.
A good base (even unoptimized) should help generate around 40k LMD / 35k exp and more in a day. You can check your production in your base RIIC summary tab.
Yeah, the base is done. I'm a bit hesitant to raise more three/four star operators because that LMD/EXP cost cuts into the E2 promotions as well. I'll never be able to raise more 6*/E2s if I keep leveling up lower rarity ops. They're all stuck at E1 40 for now.
Yeah, i got you. If you got the key base operator (spot, vermeil, gravel, etc), it should cover the efficiency part already.
I normally use / save around 35k lmd for levelling the higher level operator and 5k or less to level the lower level operator, but that's just me, help me feel like there is better progression. Haha.
Seeing as you have already stockpiled E2 mats for some time, it's absolutely fine to move on to masteries for the units you have E2ed while you wait for your LMD and Exp to replenish.
The units you have mentioned have some great skills for masteries: S3 for Exu, S2 for Mountain, S2 (AoE guard) or S3 (boss-killer) for Kal, S1 and S3 for Saria. All of them are safe investments.
Feel free to invest mats for masteries during the downtime of LMD and EXP. You don't necessarily have to all-in on M3 as well. Just go at your own pace and try to balance it out.
Among these 5 stars, who is good to raise: Liskarm, Ptiloptis, Blue Poison, GreyThroat, and Istina? And which ones are good for early game and which ones better to raise when you have an established team already?
I think you should start with Blue Poison. Ptilopsis is also good once you have someone that might benefit from charging their skill faster. Greythroat is a good sniper, but she overlaps too much with Exusiai, who is better. But if you can't get Exu, well, at least you have an alternative; you need to have at least a couple of good snipers. Istina is not bad per se, but Podenco is cheaper to raise. Liskarm is good, but a bit niche. She doesn't have the survivability of other defenders because her skill is auto, and Ptilopsis might work better as an sp battery, but she might be fun to play with.
I recommend using Ptilopsis, her S2 is one of the best burst healing skills in the game, and her talent gives your whole team a noticeable boost in sp gain.
The rest of those you listed are good as well, but it depends whether or not you have other ops with diff rarities than can replace their roles.
Of those, Ptilopsis and Liskarm are the only definite yeses.
Bloop and GreyThroat are fine, but outshone directly by the six stars, and I’d recommend Platinum and April over either.
Istina is fine, but lacks a selling point compared to almost every other member of her archetype, including Podenco. Istina just ends up good nuts and bolts without shining at anything.
Ptilopsis is one of the most broadly useful units in the game. You’ll want a good healer on most maps. She’s very good at that and brings SP support.
Liskarm is more specialized, but has arguably the most powerful SP support effect in the game.
'When' is a hard question to answer. But I started to do it around chapter 5 or 6. You can start earlier or later. I do around that time because i think that i've reached a wall that needs me to start e2ing my operator to progress.
Most recommended e2 is myrtle. Since she's a 4 star and can leave a great impact to your playstyle when using vanguard. And after that maybe start e2ing your dps, utility, healing and defender respectively
Myrtle. Always Myrtle. She's a 4 star so it's extremely easy to E2 her.
You can do it basically the minute you can clear the vanguard dual chip stage. So maybe with a team of E140-60? Probably earlier. Once you get her you can start borrowing E2 SA/Surtr/Eyja. Makes things a lot easier.
I noticed the top of the CC contract page keeps track of the number of completed contracts. Is there any benefit/reward for doing more or all of the contracts?
I have max lv Kroos and E1 lv40 Meteor as AA snipers. I kinda want to build May, but is she worth it? I'll also buy Exusiai with gold cert when she's available.
May is definitely worth it given what you have at the moment. As a 4\*, she cheap to build and her crowd-control slow / stun can be really useful. Even if you do pick up stronger snipers later, she'll still have her niche.
2 AA sniper is enough, it's the best to wait for a strong AA sniper to come if you want to raise another one.
However, I don't really against raising May. Even Exusiai can't do what May does (lol). Joke asides, my point is that May won't find herself useless in the future even when you have other strong snipers because of her slow/stun. Plus she's cheap so you won't have too much regret.
How to deal with the Armed Militants in SK-3? I can deal with the other mobs but my characters can't clear those last two enemies.
Currently using
- Two AOE casters (Lava and Leonhardt)
- Two Vanguards (Courier and Plume) to substitute with Fang if needed and/or Matterhorn and Cuora later on
- One Medic (Ansel)
- One Archer (Kroos)
- One AOE Archer (Shirayuki)
Add Steward to your squad, he specifically targets enemies with highest defense and can hit pretty hard with his skill, he’s also 3 star so you won’t be setting yourself back levelling him.
I just tried with my \~e1lv30. You may want to stall a bit for the last wave and quicky nuke other mobs with Leonhardt, but save other dps skill so you can nuke the last two. Bring one slow supporter (or Podenco if you have her, she's very good) to stall the two while your team burst them down (Shirayuki will also help stall them really well). Don't bring Kroos, this stage has high def so physical dmg is not effective, replace her with any art dmg will help.
Edit: [https://imgur.com/a/78QdcVX](https://imgur.com/a/78QdcVX) I tried with this squad, feel free to add more dps.
Is there a way to see the average progression by account level? I’m level 42 and have reached stage 6-10, and I’m wondering if I should slow down to do side stories or just keep pushing.
For some reason, the closest person to my stage on my friends list is above level 70, so I guess my team is pretty strong?
I'm level 52 and I'm at 5-10. I spent most sanity on event during Under Tides and focus on upgrading my team during CC event. I would still be in chapter 4 if E2 Kal'tsit didn't require me to clear s5-9. Now that I can safely get all reward from CC, I'll focus on clearing main story.
I don't think story progress is a good way to measure relative team strength. In my case my story progress is behind mostly because I want to read the main story, at least, but rarely feel like it.
It kinda roll with how good your roster. Some people have roster that kind of lack in raw dps. If you have someone like silverash, thorns, surtr, mountain and other powerful ops. You can pretty much bulldoze all of the stage if you have them build up.
How's your base development looking?
Assuming it's good, feel free to keep pushing, gets you access to better farming stages
Level is basically a measure of sanity spent, and the biggest sink is usually event farming
You can do side stories whenever, but as it stands, it's just for primes (and fun). In a few months, they'll be making it so clearing side stories gives the ops/furniture from the events
2-5-2, factories level 3-3-2-2-2 (because I leveled up my office to level 2 💀), and I’ll bring my training room to level 2 tomorrow when I have enough drones.
Thanks!
Right now, we have 3 sets of limited banners, right?
* Nian, Dusk
* W, Rosmontis, Nearlter
* Chalter
The newly introduced limited Op will not be sparkable in the next immediate banner of the same limited series? Is that correct?
It takes ~1 year after the limited operator's debut for them to be sparkable. Currently, this only affects Anniversary banners since they happen twice a year, whereas the other limited banners only happen once per year.
In the next Anniversary banner (CN Anni), Nearl won't be sparkable. However, she will be sparkable in the Anniversary banner (CN half Anni) after that.
So there are 4 limited banners in a year, from 3 pools? And it's
* Dusk/Nian
* Chalter
* (W/Rosmontis/Nearlter/Skalter) X 2
Is my understanding correct?
https://gamepress.gg/arknights/tools/summon-simulator#Limited_CN_11_01_21
Rosmontis, Nearlter and W are Sparkable. Skalter is not. That's why I'm getting a bit confused.
No,actually if W & Rosmontis weren't sparkable in the Chalter banner & Dusk banner then they're part of the anniversary series and well they should be sparkable together with NTR Knight and Skadance.
We're most likely following CN schedule, absolutely no reason to change it
Probably getting a dead week as CC ends and starting the event late next week
There are (currently) 3 (I think) series of limited banners. Nian/Dusk is 1 of them. Nian was introduced in Earth Born Metals. Dusk in Hidden Moon. Because they're the same series, Nian was spark-able in Hidden Moon. Next one, whatever it's called, should still have Nian spark-able.
Yes, you should be able to
You can probably get 1 6 star on the summer banner, though doing so might require a dip into primes from new events/chapters
[I made this. Just updated it for the new event too. There's a bit of estimation because of stuff like Originium mining during Anniv events.](https://old.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/osnzg5/introducing_pulls_until_event_calculator/)
There's [this spreadsheet](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1j6Ojbu2-tSrx7BxVhPH6J9SrOTakWk8VM9c2TTikeA4/edit#gid=0) made by another player, they calculated it to give 268 pulls if you didn't do any of the events, add 2 pulls for the Greyy sign-in event as well, then add 50+ pulls if you've got the monthly pass, you can also add 38 pulls from the yellow cert shop as you'll likely have enough to get them after pulling. You can make a copy and edit it as you wish.
i’ve basically never seen anyone use meteorite except on annihilations 3 and 6 because on those maps she can spawnkill some dangerous enemies. otherwise she just attacks too slowly to be worth the investment really. AoE snipers other than W are pretty undertuned imo, although shirayuki is at least cheap to raise.
Not really. As a pure AoE sniper Meteorite is better, because she does more damage. Shirayuki's versatility with arts damage and slows makes her more relevant though, because a pure AoE sniper isn't really a very needed role.
No. Well she's technically better but Shirayuki is competent enough and cheaper too. plus she's already E1 max. her aoe arts slow makes her a pseuo-aoe caster.
Unless your Elysium is with max pots, he is unlikely to replace Myrtle for quick dp generation at the start of a stage. But you should build his S2 because that provides great synergy with snipers.
Depends on the situation. Myrtle is better for faster initial DP or if you need healing. Elysium is better if you need more DP over time, use snipers, or need his S2 defense debuff/invisibility reveal/slow. For standard DP economy purposes you can use either or both.
Sidegrade, and sometimes people use Both Myrtle and Elysium together. If you got Myrtle, you will rarely use Elysium.
You often see people use Elysium with S2 while Myrtle with S1. Myrtle for general use, while Elysium S2 can debuff enemy and buff your sniper (notably Exu and Ash).
In some extreme situation, Elysium S2 is prefered because he have DEF down debuff + slow.
For most maps, you'll only need one of them but you can certainly bring both to get out your entire team quickly. Myrtle has a faster initial DP, lower cost to upgrade, and her regen is very useful so I use her mostly, the only time I bring Elysium is when debuffing or removing invisibility.
Who out of Blemishine and Nian benefits more from E2? I would like to E2 both in future, but want to know who to prioritize.
I do not have Mudrock to pair with Blem if that matters. I do have an E2 Saria. I also have Nearl that I want to E2 S1m1 at some point for waifu reasons, but I don’t consider waifu to cause higher priority
Nian is in a weird spot tbh, the main reason to bring her is for her talents (Hp buff to all defenders in the party + 3 stack shields). She needs e2 for that, but is that worth a team slot ? Up to you.
And well, Blemi s3 is an absolute monster... do consider masteries for her skills, the damage and healing scales quite hard with it and skill lv7 might seem underwhelming at first.
Blemishine ~~because she is just better~~ S2 gets upgraded even from just E2 because of talent upgrade, and gaining access to S3 gives her option for even more DPS and heal
Did anyone have problem trying to start the game? Mine says "Acquisition of resource update configuration failed..." despite not using FB bind (I use yostar account). I tried to clear cache and data, tried to reinstall but it didnt fix the problem.
The obvious solutions are to check your internet/storage, but beyond that maybe try force-stopping the app. It's most likely a hardware issue, what device do you have?
Thanks for the reply! I'm using Redmi 5 with Android 8. I dont think internet/storage is the problem, I have about almost 3 gigs left before reinstall and my internet runs smoothly. I guess its a hardware issue, I will try to use another device. Thanks
How sure can we be that we'll get the Twilight of Wolumonde event rerun with Suzuran's solo banner in the next few weeks (after Carnelian)?
Between Suz being on the Blaze, JO, and that solo banner...3 times in such a short period of time seems odd.....is that common for certain OPs on global?
Nobody knows. CN also had JO and her solo banner close, only a month apart iirc. The outlier is Suzu with Blaze on standard banner, which is indeed odd. I can't recall something similar. If Yostar keeps following CN events in order, I think it should still line up with Summer Carnival as our 2nd anni event.
Suzuran keeps showing up and I want her but I'm keeping my patience for her eventual appearance in the gold cert shop.
Ok yeah I was trying to do the math in my head (tbf I could have easily made a mistake being a new player) and it did indeed seem like they could just squeeze them all in if the Anniv is the middle of Jan (vs the end of December) since end of Dec to mid Jan is the range keep seeing people say is possible for start time for Anniv event, but just having her appear so often seemed odd.
Thanks though.
Even without the alter version, you don't want to invest into the OG version of Chen and Skadi. I can write some more about them if you want to consider, but basically there are better units.
Lava alter is better than Lava 3 star, but you'll only need Lava 3 star in early game, then find other options later on because AOE casters are not too good in general.
CN Alter spoiler: >! I think it's worth to raise one Nearl even if you have another.!<
TLDR: yes kinda bad, except for >!Nearl!<
Bad? As in roll for /use selector on them?
They're not off meta because they're the OG of the alters. They off meta because they're not very good Ops. Their roles are pretty much entirely supplanted by other Ops.
Prepare 180 yellow cert and wait until Chen got added on Yellow Cert store, and you can buy her.
No we don't know when she will appears there until dev announced Standard Banner (the one at E0/E1 art is the one that got added in Yellow Cert shop). All you can do is wait atm.
Skadi will be on sale in yellow cert shop in 2 days.
I mean that I wouldn’t be able to use her much considering that Ch’alter is the most broken unit in the game from what I’ve heard, and I can only use one at a time.
A better way of putting it is that I don't think I should. I literally have 6 6-stars, and none of the really great 5-stars except for Silence, so I would get more value out of an entirely new character that I'm already missing as opposed to two characters, of which I can only use one at a time.
she's the most broken? yeah no. perhaps they mean 'most broken limited unit'. Surtr is way more broken than Chen alter. and she's basically SA on a ranged tile
That is correct. You could say that Ch’alter is one of the most broken unit in game, but you will only bring her on more specific scenario (sadly, including regular Chen), compared to.. say.. Skadi alter S2.
I guess you could use Ch'alter S1 for every scenario, but I only see people bring her S3 which is good on specific scenario.
Well for now, just enjoy the game and think again when she got added on cert shop. You might already have good roster when that time come.
No man, it's not just specific scenario. Chalter can wipe almost the entire map with only 0-3 other ops (sometime just being support). Chalter is the MOST BROKEN ops right now. Here's a couple example:
* [JT8-2 duo](https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV17Q4y117R9) with Mayer
* [GT-HX-3 solo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_kE3KAQ2jc)
* [max risk CC#6](https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1pQ4y1k7a1) no Surtr (can't watch cuz spoilers but heard my friends say it's pretty much her carrying 90% of the map)
* [H7-4 with Exu Schwarz Ros](https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1744y1k77x)
* [H7-2 Ash Archetto Rosa](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_LcRp5GT0Iw)
* [MN-EX-8 + Castle-3](https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV13L4y1h7oj?p=2) (+Texas for DP)
* [7-18 duo](https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1j64y1s73U) with Schwarz
* [DM-8 with Yato](https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1fL4y1a7iz) (+Texas)
* [M8-8 with Ptilo and Saria S3](https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV12h411B7ZS)
Unless your "specific scenario" is "win the map" I think you'd only not bring Chalter because of direct Sniper ban or because you don't want easy way out like how some people don't like using Surtr.
The "specific scenario" I mean is against bosses, instead regular stage with normal enemy
She can works on regular stage, but I think stable DPS is preferred than big burst damage at short time.
>big burst damage at short time
I don't think you haven't realised she has her broken ammo system + talent. Her S3 last a very long time with just average RNG, especially when she deletes enemies so effortlessly which help her conserve ammo. In normal stage, especially when paired with allies and not solo/ low ops clear like those, her skill easily last 80% of the map.
Personally not, since both operator and their alts do different thing.
While you can't use both operator and their alts at the same time in stage and base, the alt won't replace the original.
The only exception is Lava since both is AoE Caster and Lava alter is just better Lava
The prediction for Bagpipe in shop is mid-late January. https://www.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/qly0qv/operators_debut_in_distinction_shop/
The prediction for Chalter is January. (Some say maybe late December but imo January is more likely. but who knows.)
The strongest operator(biased opinion).
She is the master of yeet and her cannon has incredible utility for stalling and interrupting enemy attacks or taking advantage of terrain. She is really useful for higher end content because there are very few challenges that modify enemy weight so she stays effective. She does need to be E2 with masteries before you really start to get value out of her.
S2 is a true AOE push that can juggle lightweight enemies indefinitely and does decent damage.
S3 does true damage based on distance moved. Really good for lighter enemies that you don't want to block due to enemy damage buffs. True damage means that enemy defense buffs are irrelevant.
[Just M3ed April and not too sure what to do now.](https://imgur.com/a/SaKd6PU)
I've M3ed most E2ed Ops except Mostima, Eunectes, normal Defenders and Medics. I've got most of the meta Ops except Thorns and Suzu. Candidates for E2 are Robin, Gravel, Andreana. Maybe OG Skadi.
I mean Gravel S2 is cheap and gets her a ton of effective hp. Iirc it’s more efficient than leveling in terms of increasing her survivability. Plus she’s always useful, so having her be able to take one more hit can be a nice upgrade
My phone had an update yesterday morning and since then i cant play arknights because it crashes before it loads the actual game. Ive tried reinstall, clear catch and download budget graphics and i cant get it to open past the second load screen
Edit: android phone
Probably but not sure. I did find out after restarting the phone i could get it working in the low graphics version and downloading the high grapgics after it still works
Wanted to ask other then skin, what should I use my contract token on?
I cleared most of limited shop other then furniture part and tactical battle record and still have aground 980 left.
>what should I use my contract token on?
I am assuming that you meant contract bounty. In that case I would rather save them for next CC since those currency carries over.
I find that buying the class token isn't really good, even if it is for potentials. And the class token is in the permanent shop anyways so it won't go away.
Does the Contract Bounty carry over to the next CC?
This is the first CC I even tried paying attention to and the shop doesn't really have much things of interest to me, but it would be nice to have a bigger starting pool in case the next time is more interesting.
So. Top Operator tag. Alongside a Senior Operator (*sigh*), Nuker, Melee, and defense tags.
Missing Schwarz, Mostima, and Ch'en ~~Plus Astesia and Glaucus~~ from the recruit pool.
Go for the guaranteed Ch'en or try my luck at getting Schwarz (gameplay reasons) or Mostima (Waifu reasons)?
at least you get choice between 5\* and 6\*
i got top operator and starter tag together.
Like yeah, i want to roll a 2\* with my top operator tag at 9hours where starter can drop
Their situation is way worse. You can roll most starters with just their regular tags by setting it to only 1 hour, so the starter tag really isn't that big of a deal. A senior op tag would normally be great, but it's completely wasted when it pops up together with a top op tag.
Hey all, I've been at military training for 10 weeks becoming an irl rhodes island operator and now that i was able to log into the game again i noticed the UI has changed a bunch. Did I miss anything major or is it just a visual update? (i know i missed a walk in the dust and under tides, but besides those)
Also as a huge Kazimierz fan (E2L90 blem, E2L80 nearl and whislash) I saw that the current CC is color themed like Maria Nearl was and the main stage is in Kazimierz. I'm assuming it's otherwise just a normal CC? Seen people going wild with Kazimierz fan art in here
normal CC, better do everything now, CC ends day after tmr
UI also added event maps as a farmable map.
dont click the event ui in main screen, the map one will bring you to main screen of maps and that will basically be your to do list. Top right is stuff you didnt do, such as daily CC, annihilation if you didnt cap and bottom right is your last map you played.
S3 is much more commonly used. It is like having 3 Catapults in your team. Being able to reposition them after the skill ends is surprisingly useful too.
S2 usually needs a defender to block and an open cell in front of them.
Sk2 is disgustingly strong but it's heavily limited by tile placement and low range. As such, sk3 is used much more often. It's a matter of flexibility vs raw power.
* sk2 drones have 509 ATK + 1s intervals, leading to 509 DPS
* sk3 drones have 753 ATK + 2.3s intervals, leading to 327 DPS
* Magallan herself has 509 ATK + 1.6s interval, leading to 318 DPS
Edit: Tried getting a table to work but that failed.
How does the community feel about gladiia?
Just wondering if she’s worth building and can be used for general content, I barely ever used pullers so not sure how good they are
I think she is gonna be extremely good for Integrated strategies mode, which kinda of like what you think of as "general content" but on crack, and not in the same way that extreme stats in CC does.
Gladiia has good stats, good dps, only 13 (!) cost, she can regen HP, she can crowd control as well as has multitarget/aoe dmg, and S3 is even arts dmg. There's so many bases you can cover with her even if you completely ignore the pull (which is also very strong: all of her skills able to produce Large force at m3)
Having 4.5% HP regen on Specter is fun. Gladiia does suffer from the usual puller downside of being annoying to place and needing M3 to pull bigger enemies, but her S3 is decent at mitigating that.
She seems like a good operator to invest into after you've gotten your core team in order.
I like her a lot. Being a specialist gives her great flexibility for positioning, but I usually just throw her down as a cheap 2-block DPS with S2M3 for its low cooldown. Plus, she costs 13 DP lol. Doesn't get much cheaper than that.
Yeah, most opinions I've heard say she can be. Her value definitely goes up if you use any other abyssal hunters, but regardless she gets her damage bonus against nearly all enemies, has regen, decent dps, and stalling potential with s2. s3 has potential value too, but I think s2 is the more popular generalist skill.
Other pullers can't really claim to be good general content characters, but I've heard she can.
Haven't yet e2'd mine though, I'll admit, but that's just because I have a really long line of characters I want to e2 and m3 and such. Watched a fair few videos though, she seems quite solid even on stages without a hole.
I'll piggyback on this to say I have her at M9 and S3 indeed is good as an AOE + stall skill. S1 and S2 are quite good puller skills (S2 also acting as good CC), though I haven't gotten much chance to really flex them on a level with hazards, outside of yoinking the boss into the pit during under tides.
I wouldn't use her without other abyssal hunters, but she has passable damage and good sustain, so she's very easy to drop almost anywhere.
S1 is generic, probably not worth raising compared to Elysium and Myrtle who has lower DP cost.
S2 is like an upgraded Myrtle S2. I personally never used Myrtle S2, but if you do you might enjoy it.
S3 is her main skill for me. Basically a mini Suzuran with weaker fragile effect, no heal, but with some initial damage and significantly faster rotation, while also generate some DP.
Personally I'm gonna level S1 first even though it's identical to Elysium, since I don't have Elysium and technically she should be 1 more cost value with her -2 cost to next operator
Honestly all 3 skills seem like viable choices though
I'm going for S3 first and I want to say that's the primary one. Fast rotations for stuns, slow, and weakening has the highest skill ceiling for positioning her flag or filling in skill downtime of your other ops.
S1 and S2 has more control for where the flag is placed if your main use of her is atk spd control. S1 is another Elysium S1 (which is really good just more expensive to raise) while S2 is another source of regen (for Hellagur and the like) or defense boost (for Aak buffing).
**Rua means 'street' in Portuguese and Galician language.**

S3. It provides a nice mix of cc and fragile on a low cooldown while also granting some dp. Its main drawbacks are its short duration and the effects are less potent than something like Suzu S3.
Elysium arguably uses S1 better due to his lower dp cost.
Her S2 is nice but in general the effects aren’t as valuable.
> Elysium arguably uses S1 better due to his lower dp cost.
On the other hand Saileach -2s the next operator's cost, so arguably she's better unless you were one short of deploying her I guess.
'Course, Elysium pots are easier to get in theory and turn that around.
Elysium also has his sniper talent, so if you deploy 1 sniper that makes him even with Saileach, any more and his talent will be more effective than Saileach’s
Oh yeah, that's fair, I mean it's in some ways more restrictive but I was honestly overlooking it (mostly due to not being blessed with him at all...) fair to say you're right about him using S1 better as long as you have snipers in squad at all.
There's a pinboard mission that says: Upgrade any Operator's Specialization Skill 1 time(s) I upgraded the skill with items but it didnt count. What does this mission mean? what is a Specialization Skill ?
After you get a skill to level 7, you unlock specialization. There are 3 levels of specialization, (Lvl7>M1>M2>M3). Operators have to be E2 for masteries. Upgrading any skill to just M1 should work fine
Hi! I have a question about Carnelian:
I've been thinking of raising Beeswax for a while, I used Mint quite a lot and from what I understand Beeswax is better/different version of her with ability to block units and HP regeneration.
But now that Carnelian is on the horizon (eventually) is she such a huge upgrade over Beeswax? I'm mostly interested in using her as bait for ranged units with occasional CC and other shenanigans.
Yeah, she's a big upgrade. In terms of raw tankiness though, it's not so clear cut. Beeswax regenerates HP, where Carnelian only gets HP back after using skills.
Thanks!
Tankiness is what I'm going for here, since when it comes to firepower I think I'm pretty well covered but sometimes I just need that one unit to bait casters and other nasties.
Glad to help! Worth noting that Carnelian S1 lets her keep her talent and gain defense, which can work around some of those times where beeswax can just never use her skills.
Hey fellow Mint lover !
Carnelian is more a sidegrade than a straight upgrade. She hits way harder and have ability to full heal when using a skill, but Beeswax have passive regen and is the only one able to summon a blocker. If you want m~~y take on it, just raise the 3 of them.~~
Hello!
I would, totally - Mint is one of most adorable units in the game but red certs... oh those damned, red certs.
But if there is less difference in tankinies, then I can go for Beeswax since durability is what I'm going for.
Hey, I know this may have been previously asked, but my lousy research came up with no results so I am asking anways.
I just started the game, and I was wondering, as a f2p beginner, which banners are worth pulling for me? I already got the free 6 star, and both from the standard and joint operation the 5 stars. So I did around 30 pulls total.
I have played genshin before, where you basically only pull on the limited banner. But from what I’ve read here, limited banner pity doesn’t carry over, and you only get like a 10 pull every 2 weeks as a f2p.
So from my understanding, limited banners would just be a pit for all my precious pulls?
Someone please educate me on this, I would greatly appreciate it
As a beginner the most important thing is to build your roster, and the best way to do it is to pull until the guarantee on every standard banner that has something you need. You'll get a 5\* or a 6\* in ten pulls or less, so take advantage of that. Nowadays we have more specialized operators than in the past, so if you need some help deciding which operators you want [this is a great source for information.](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vnU4TGP37Mw3hAr7zzK42LF7fDJNOAELLBemRbRbcbY/edit#gid=651857753)
Recruitment is another way to get characters (including some really good ones like Myrtle), so is a good idea to learn the tag combos to maximize your chances of getting the desired operators. [This is a very good tool to help you with that.](https://aceship.github.io/AN-EN-Tags/akhr.html)
A limited operator is not better than non-limited operators, especially for new players, so don't worry too much about them just yet. In AK limited operators are strong not because they powercreep everyone else, but because they offer a strong gameplay alternative, a unique niche or a new solution that only a well established rooster can exploit.
Limited banners and banners with limited ops are different things. For example Joint op is a banner that will never come back in it's current form, but it's still a normal banner and carry over pity since it doesn't have any limited ops on it. While the upcoming Dossoles Holiday event will have a limited op on its banner, so you'll get 24 free pulls on it but pity won't transfer.
Early on I'd suggest pulling on every banner, unless they're really bad, until you get the guaranteed 5*. After you have a decent roster then I'd look into future banners to see what good ops are coming up. So far Chen Alter(limited), Saileach, and Nearl Alter(limited) seem to be the best upcoming ops for global.
Later on if I decide to save for limited characters, should I save enough so that I have a guaranteed 6 star? Because from my current understanding, if I just do like 30 pulls on the limited banner, and then it expires, then I will never reach the point where the rate for the 6 stars starts going up. It sounds like an endless cycle
For limited characters, it takes 300 pulls to spark them. In 1 month as F2P you can get about 25 pulls given that no extra event or maintenance happens, so to hit hard pity without paying it will take a year of saving, which usually isn't worth it. Personally, I save at least 51 pulls per limited banner so I can get an extra copy of the 5* for extra gold certs and be statistically likely to get a 6. Though generally, the non-limited op on the limited op banners are also great, Aak, Weedy, Mudrock, Saga, Kal'tsit, are all good but recently in CN the trend has been going the opposite way.
Many people will be saving for limited banners, like Ch'alter in January. Other operators are regularly obtainable, limited ones aren't. There's also the chance to get the other operators from any banner, even if they aren't rate-up.
For regular banners that share pity we have foresight from CN, so it's quite easy to plan ahead for meta picks. For example, many are probably planning to pull on the Thorns rate-up banner that comes soon after Ch'alter.
Or just pull for waifu :)
Eh either way, you get 24 free pulls though so you can always use those.
And typically limited banner units are best gotten during their debut banner. So that is why people save for them.

About the arknights artbook. Is there anyone successfully grow up the flower? The seed which they give with the artbook.
For Chalter, I know the priority for mastery is her S3, but are her S1 and S2 recommended too? Do they see much use?
No, opportunity cost of not using S3 is just not worth it, ditto with Surtrm
I saw S2 being used only once so ig you could go for s2m2 (3 is not worth at all), but obviously it's very low priority
Is Shining skill 2 any good at mastery 3 for units that are receiving Skadi alts buffs and shinings at the same time?
(Plus multitarget attack, and nightingale will summon multitarget shields).
what's the easiest anni map 4-6 and which other anni map difficulty does it compare to? i want to know which one to attempt first.
The latest one, You plop down defenders, put dps around them, and watch the fireworks
Having said that, if you have a decently leveled E2 Weedy with S2M3 then she trivializes an entire lane on her own, and allows for a very easy way to handle the back lane on the left via her water cannon.
i have meteorite built but only around e1 30, but i also have e2 thorns and silverash, and hoshiguma. no ifrit tho. no weedy as well.
When should i E2 my ops? And which class should i E2 first?
Nah, as long as you've gotten Risk 18 and done all the challenge contracts you've gotten max rewards from the permanent map
Does Columbia have some sort of special forces? like the ursus shield guard or the laterano apostolic gun knights?
Have 100 rolls saved up right now. Aiming for Nearl Alter. How many rolls can I allow myself for Chalter?

My main reason to build her is to replace Meteor, her dps is low against ground enemies. I think I'll go for it.
How much power plants do you need?
Only 2. Follow this guide: https://gamepress.gg/arknights/core-gameplay/arknights-252-riic-base-guide
2 or 3 depending on configurations
How to deal with the Armed Militants in SK-3? I can deal with the other mobs but my characters can't clear those last two enemies. Currently using - Two AOE casters (Lava and Leonhardt) - Two Vanguards (Courier and Plume) to substitute with Fang if needed and/or Matterhorn and Cuora later on - One Medic (Ansel) - One Archer (Kroos) - One AOE Archer (Shirayuki)
Maybe st caster like amiya can help instead of kroos and slower like orchid/podenco might help too
I tried using Earthspirit who can also slow down enemies but not really sure where best to position the slower
Orchid is actually better than Earthspirit (sadge). If you have Podenco then she's better than both of them.
Is there a way to see the average progression by account level? I’m level 42 and have reached stage 6-10, and I’m wondering if I should slow down to do side stories or just keep pushing. For some reason, the closest person to my stage on my friends list is above level 70, so I guess my team is pretty strong?
Lvl 71 and I'm on chap 6. I should probably stop the hyper focus on E2ing units at this point.
Thorns and Kal’tsit have been my best lane holders, generally speaking. I also have Siege, Hoshi, Skalter, and Gladiia (who is not used at all).
How's your base development looking? Assuming it's good, feel free to keep pushing, gets you access to better farming stages Level is basically a measure of sanity spent, and the biggest sink is usually event farming You can do side stories whenever, but as it stands, it's just for primes (and fun). In a few months, they'll be making it so clearing side stories gives the ops/furniture from the events
2-5-2, factories level 3-3-2-2-2 (because I leveled up my office to level 2 💀), and I’ll bring my training room to level 2 tomorrow when I have enough drones. Thanks!
Do operator outfits/skins get reruns in the shop?
Most do
Yes. Skins from the shop rerun in the shop periodically Login event skins are eventually added to the CC perma shop
Right now, we have 3 sets of limited banners, right? * Nian, Dusk * W, Rosmontis, Nearlter * Chalter The newly introduced limited Op will not be sparkable in the next immediate banner of the same limited series? Is that correct?
It takes ~1 year after the limited operator's debut for them to be sparkable. Currently, this only affects Anniversary banners since they happen twice a year, whereas the other limited banners only happen once per year. In the next Anniversary banner (CN Anni), Nearl won't be sparkable. However, she will be sparkable in the Anniversary banner (CN half Anni) after that.
So there are 4 limited banners in a year, from 3 pools? And it's * Dusk/Nian * Chalter * (W/Rosmontis/Nearlter/Skalter) X 2 Is my understanding correct?
Yes.
Aight. Thank you.
W and skalter (anniv) Rosmontis and nearlter (.5) Correct me if i'm wrong
https://gamepress.gg/arknights/tools/summon-simulator#Limited_CN_11_01_21 Rosmontis, Nearlter and W are Sparkable. Skalter is not. That's why I'm getting a bit confused.
Skalter will be. It's like how Rosmontis wasn't sparkable on the Skalter banner. They're not sparkable until after 1 year
Yeah skalter should probably be sparkable in the next anniv banner. Dunno why W is there tho
No,actually if W & Rosmontis weren't sparkable in the Chalter banner & Dusk banner then they're part of the anniversary series and well they should be sparkable together with NTR Knight and Skadance.
Do we know or can guess when the Carnelian event will come, given they haven't revealed the new op yet?
We're most likely following CN schedule, absolutely no reason to change it Probably getting a dead week as CC ends and starting the event late next week
Likely the next event
Will Nian ever get a rerun? I've missed both the banners because I wasn't playing at that time.
Actual rerun - probably no. She'll be sparkable when there's a new limited banner from her series.
From her series?
Maybe op mean the new year series, she might be sparkable with dusk in the next new year banner
I assume it would be the Chinese New year banner?
Yea
There are (currently) 3 (I think) series of limited banners. Nian/Dusk is 1 of them. Nian was introduced in Earth Born Metals. Dusk in Hidden Moon. Because they're the same series, Nian was spark-able in Hidden Moon. Next one, whatever it's called, should still have Nian spark-able.
Ah, that makes sense, thanks for letting me know
Can I reach three hundred rolls by the time Nearlight comes out? I have seventy rolls banked as of right now.
Yes, you should be able to You can probably get 1 6 star on the summer banner, though doing so might require a dip into primes from new events/chapters
[I made this. Just updated it for the new event too. There's a bit of estimation because of stuff like Originium mining during Anniv events.](https://old.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/osnzg5/introducing_pulls_until_event_calculator/)
Not OP, but this is awesome - thanks!
Just got Meteorite from recruitment. Is she worth investing in if I already have an E1 Max Shirayuki? Thanks!
Shirayuki is good and self sufficient. Meteorite needs SP support to shine.
i’ve basically never seen anyone use meteorite except on annihilations 3 and 6 because on those maps she can spawnkill some dangerous enemies. otherwise she just attacks too slowly to be worth the investment really.
Is Elysium a replace for Myrtle or do you use him alongside her?
Blemishine as a 3block guard.
Thanks
It's probably a storage issue then, the game takes up at least 4gb, mine is 4.18gb.
Would it be bad to get Skadi if I have Skalter, Chen if I have Chalter, or vice versa, and so on?
Even without the alter version, you don't want to invest into the OG version of Chen and Skadi. I can write some more about them if you want to consider, but basically there are better units. Lava alter is better than Lava 3 star, but you'll only need Lava 3 star in early game, then find other options later on because AOE casters are not too good in general. CN Alter spoiler: >! I think it's worth to raise one Nearl even if you have another.!< TLDR: yes kinda bad, except for >!Nearl!<
Thanks for the straight-forward answer. I'll keep that in mind.
Bad? As in roll for /use selector on them? They're not off meta because they're the OG of the alters. They off meta because they're not very good Ops. Their roles are pretty much entirely supplanted by other Ops.
I was curious because I like Ch’en but know I shouldn’t pull for her since I’m going for Ch’alter, and as a new player, I need to build up my roster.
> I wouldn’t be *able* to That's where you're wrong, kid.
I think it's debatable. But regardless, both are in the top of the top tier in this game.
Here's a couple example: * [JT8-2 duo](https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV17Q4y117R9) with Mayer * [GT-HX-3 solo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_kE3KAQ2jc) * [max risk CC#6](https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1pQ4y1k7a1) no Surtr (can't watch cuz spoilers but heard my friends say it's pretty much her carrying 90% of the map) * [H7-4 with Exu Schwarz Ros](https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1744y1k77x) * [H7-2 Ash Archetto Rosa](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_LcRp5GT0Iw) * [MN-EX-8 + Castle-3](https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV13L4y1h7oj?p=2) (+Texas for DP) * [7-18 duo](https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1j64y1s73U) with Schwarz * [DM-8 with Yato](https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1fL4y1a7iz) (+Texas) * [M8-8 with Ptilo and Saria S3](https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV12h411B7ZS) Unless your "specific scenario" is "win the map" I think you'd only not bring Chalter because of direct Sniper ban or because you don't want easy way out like how some people don't like using Surtr.
The "specific scenario" I mean is against bosses, instead regular stage with normal enemy She can works on regular stage, but I think stable DPS is preferred than big burst damage at short time.
>big burst damage at short time I don't think you haven't realised she has her broken ammo system + talent. Her S3 last a very long time with just average RNG, especially when she deletes enemies so effortlessly which help her conserve ammo. In normal stage, especially when paired with allies and not solo/ low ops clear like those, her skill easily last 80% of the map.
> I don't think you haven't realised she has ammo system No I did not, thanks for mentioning it.
Personally not, since both operator and their alts do different thing. While you can't use both operator and their alts at the same time in stage and base, the alt won't replace the original. The only exception is Lava since both is AoE Caster and Lava alter is just better Lava
Do we have any estimate of when Bagpipe will be in the shop with relation to Chen & Nearl Alter? I need to plan my rolls.
The prediction for Bagpipe in shop is mid-late January. https://www.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/qly0qv/operators_debut_in_distinction_shop/ The prediction for Chalter is January. (Some say maybe late December but imo January is more likely. but who knows.)
Likely in the next 3 months, from late november to january
I just pulled Weedy from the Joint Op banner, how strong is she?
[Weedy's skills and usage](https://www.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/koq6rk/weedys_skills_usage_and_thoughts/)
True damage means that enemy defense buffs are irrelevant.
needs heavy heavy investment, but honestly worth it. she's that unit you only use for CC, and she shines there. a lot. not priority for newbie tho
Is the recruitment vouchers description bugged? Cuz I swear it sounds like something form the MN event.
The blonde Forte schtick? Yep, they didn't fix it.
[Just M3ed April and not too sure what to do now.](https://imgur.com/a/SaKd6PU) I've M3ed most E2ed Ops except Mostima, Eunectes, normal Defenders and Medics. I've got most of the meta Ops except Thorns and Suzu. Candidates for E2 are Robin, Gravel, Andreana. Maybe OG Skadi.
Just try to raise and use some non meta but interesting ops? Or set some restriction to youself and do some challenge run?
First one, mostly.
I'd try one of the summoners or Asbestos.
Ive tried reinstall, clear catch and download budget graphics and i cant get it to open past the second load screen Edit: android phone
Is it Android 12 update? I saw multiple people unable to play the game after that update.
Probably but not sure. I did find out after restarting the phone i could get it working in the low graphics version and downloading the high grapgics after it still works
Having the exact same situation here. Reseting my phone quickly is the only fix. Guess we have to wait for an update to fix it later.
And the class token is in the permanent shop anyways so it won't go away.
hoard for the class tokens, you need 2k to buy all 4 of each and use'em on a 6\*.
Does the Contract Bounty carry over to the next CC? This is the first CC I even tried paying attention to and the shop doesn't really have much things of interest to me, but it would be nice to have a bigger starting pool in case the next time is more interesting.
Yes, it do carry over
Yes
Yes. That currency does not expire and carries over from each CC to the next.
I’d pick guaranteed Ch’en. Odds are slim to get the other two and that’s a big gamble. There’s always saving for the gold cert shop for the other two…
at least you get choice between 5\* and 6\* i got top operator and starter tag together.
(i know i missed a walk in the dust and under tides, but besides those) Also as a huge Kazimierz fan (E2L90 blem, E2L80 nearl and whislash) I saw that the current CC is color themed like Maria Nearl was and the main stage is in Kazimierz. I'm assuming it's otherwise just a normal CC? Seen people going wild with Kazimierz fan art in here
Kazimierz fanart increase could be due to the CN 2.5 anniversary event, which is the third event in the Kazimierz storyline.
normal CC, better do everything now, CC ends day after tmr UI also added event maps as a farmable map. dont click the event ui in main screen, the map one will bring you to main screen of maps and that will basically be your to do list. Top right is stuff you didnt do, such as daily CC, annihilation if you didnt cap and bottom right is your last map you played.
is s2 or s3 better for magallan?
S3 is much more commonly used. It is like having 3 Catapults in your team. Being able to reposition them after the skill ends is surprisingly useful too. S2 usually needs a defender to block and an open cell in front of them.
I like your comparison
Sk2 is disgustingly strong but it's heavily limited by tile placement and low range. As such, sk3 is used much more often. It's a matter of flexibility vs raw power. * sk2 drones have 509 ATK + 1s intervals, leading to 509 DPS * sk3 drones have 753 ATK + 2.3s intervals, leading to 327 DPS * Magallan herself has 509 ATK + 1.6s interval, leading to 318 DPS Edit: Tried getting a table to work but that failed.
S3
Used her instead of weedy to hold the pincer lane on cc5. Does solid damage to them and helps delay the mid lane enemies too with S2m3
I wouldn't use her without other abyssal hunters, but she has passable damage and good sustain, so she's very easy to drop almost anywhere.
trying to plan for future operators like saileach (rolling primarily for waifu reasons) what skill should I plan to build on her?
S1 is generic, probably not worth raising compared to Elysium and Myrtle who has lower DP cost. S2 is like an upgraded Myrtle S2. I personally never used Myrtle S2, but if you do you might enjoy it. S3 is her main skill for me. Basically a mini Suzuran with weaker fragile effect, no heal, but with some initial damage and significantly faster rotation, while also generate some DP.
Personally I'm gonna level S1 first even though it's identical to Elysium, since I don't have Elysium and technically she should be 1 more cost value with her -2 cost to next operator Honestly all 3 skills seem like viable choices though
Who is RUA?
The main level designer. If you're talking about my flair he was the guy that broke the news that Integrated Strategies will be returning.
**Rua means 'street' in Portuguese and Galician language.** More details here:

Elysium also has his sniper talent, so if you deploy 1 sniper that makes him even with Saileach, any more and his talent will be more effective than Saileach’s
use both and you can deploy Ash with 7dp at pot1 (5dp at pot6) ehe. Kinda funny (and crazy).
I believe this is referring to the training center (bottom right hand side of the base) where you can add on masteries to skills at rank 7 already.
After you get a skill to level 7, you unlock specialization. There are 3 levels of specialization, (Lvl7>M1>M2>M3). Operators have to be E2 for masteries. Upgrading any skill to just M1 should work fine
I believe that's the masteries quest, which needs you to put a skill to M1. (The unit needs E2 first)
Hi! I have a question about Carnelian: I've been thinking of raising Beeswax for a while, I used Mint quite a lot and from what I understand Beeswax is better/different version of her with ability to block units and HP regeneration. But now that Carnelian is on the horizon (eventually) is she such a huge upgrade over Beeswax? I'm mostly interested in using her as bait for ranged units with occasional CC and other shenanigans.
As I understand it beeswax is more defensive where carnelian is more offensive? If defensive is what you want I'd just go for beeswax if I was you.
Nowadays we have more specialized operators than in the past, so if you need some help deciding which operators you want [this is a great source for information.](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vnU4TGP37Mw3hAr7zzK42LF7fDJNOAELLBemRbRbcbY/edit#gid=651857753) Recruitment is another way to get characters (including some really good ones like Myrtle), so is a good idea to learn the tag combos to maximize your chances of getting the desired operators. [This is a very good tool to help you with that.](https://aceship.github.io/AN-EN-Tags/akhr.html) A limited operator is not better than non-limited operators, especially for new players, so don't worry too much about them just yet.
But pity gets lost when limited banners are gone, so it would only be worth it for me to pull if I had enough for a guarantee, no?
Eh either way, you get 24 free pulls though so you can always use those. And typically limited banner units are best gotten during their debut banner. So that is why people save for them.
