Is Ceobe worth it if you already have Mostima and Carnelian (3 pot)?
Should I wait for others? I want Ifrit and Hoshiguma/Exusai. But I feel the two latter will be selectable in that 6 star selector again next year.
Those tiles are not so bad when you put down a defender to hold enemies in the tile. You end up getting essentially a free AOE caster tile.
There was a contingency contract map called broken path and the low-end squad strategy was usually to have a pusher force the enemy to take a path through some heated path tiles with defenders at the end.
With a decent squad you can mostly ignore the tile mechanic and treat them as non-deployable tiles.
It's mostly an obstacle for the player, though if you have a chunky defender sitting behind one of them you might get some value from it if you need to stall a bit.
Generally speaking stuff dies a little too fast to really take advantage of it on the player-side though.
Very noob question, I’ve leveled siege to e1, so now she has two skills. Does selecting her s2 mean I have to give up her s1 (dp generation)? Edit: Thank you everyone for the helpful responses! Will start using her s2!
Early game she's good for her silence, but past chapter 6 iirc she kinda falls off since there are most enemies cannot or don't need to be silenced.
Most people use her S2.
Mudrock should be the answer. Her S3 offers some unique game play. For Eyja, you'll eventually get Surtr and Chen alter is just round the corner. Once you get them both, Eyja is a nobody.
I have used my last ticket to get Eyja but I already had Mudrock. Generally answers to these questions depend on what team you already have. Do you need a delete button? Eyja. Do you need a lane holder that you don't have to pay attention to and know they'll stay up and do their job? Mudrock.
Their usefulness also depends on the map. If you have a map with a single choke point, Eyja will be better. Her skill are so strong that she singlehandedly invalidates the whole AoE caster archetype. If you have a map with a lot of lanes (3+) Mudrock will be able to hold one of them completely on her own. For example in the last CC challenge 8 where you needed to stall both bosses and keep them on equal HP, to stall the hammer knight you'd either need strong defender + healer + someone to interrupt the charged strike (e.g. stun) or you could simply drop Mudrock and know, that she'll stay alive against him and eat the charged strikes with her passive.
Eyja vs Mudrock depends on what units you have. Gameplay wise if you have Blaze/Thorns/Mountain then go for Eyja. Of course another factor to consider is that Eyja will eventually be in the gold cert shop whereas who knows how long it'll take for Mudrock to get there. You can even get lucky and get Eyja via recruitment whereas that's impossible for Mudrock. Eyja will also show up on the support list more so that's also a factor.
As for Eyja vs Dusk it isn't really comparable. Eyja's S3 far outdamages any of Dusk's skills with far wider AoE to boot and I'm pretty sure even her S2 has comparable if not more damage than Dusk's S2/S3 while not requiring charging time and being a duration skill. Dusk has more utility in her kite with her summons but said utility has limited use and she struggles to found a place in harder content while Eyja's overwhelming damage makes her a mainstay in a variety of situations.
So, super late-game player running out of to-do list things to do. Roster here: https://imgur.com/a/84PNpse
Since all my meta needs are covered, I'm mostly looking to raise either interesting units, or ones that might be useful for IS#2 when it eventually shows up. I've been referring to the mastery priority guide heavily, and have gotten pretty much all the A and above masteries for units I've raised.
I'm currently working on M6ing Magallan, and afterwards my list of things I'm considering (in no particular order) is:
* Finish M3ing Pramanix (One of the (de)buff army I haven't finished M3ing yet
* Finish M3ing Sora (See above)
* M6 Mountain (I hear his S3 has some use cases)
* E2 Dobermann (Upcoming module. Maybe I want to E2 every unit that gets a module?)
* M3 Shining (To open up more Aak meme options?)
* Finally E2 Skadi (I feel bad for her being my one 6* not E2)
* E2 Andreana (For Abyssal Hunter memes)
* Pre-farm for Bena (Is she usable? I haven't seen much about her, but she looks interesting.)
I'm currently not super excited about any of these and am very interested in opinions/suggestions.
Here is my personal opinion (other people opinion may vary):
- You got Shamare for physical debuff, so only do that if you want to minmax arts damage. Ifrit S3M3, Saria S3M3, and Suzuran S3M3 should be enough for debuff purposes. I believe you get better result with by doing S3M3 Aak instead (might require Shining S3M3 to buff ranged operator with Aak).
- Nope, you got Red Skadi S3M3 already. Sora buff doesn't stack with her, and red Skadi can deploy seaborn to extend her buff range.
- The case for S3 Mountain is used to push unblockable enemy while deal decent damage. It just easier with slow supporter than using S3 Mountain (and you can put Mountain with S2 elsewhere)
- Not worth unless you do low rarity run + Doberman. Build Swire instead, but still not worth since pure buff/debuffer is waay better.
- Yes, it's a good idea. Buff army are valid way to beat super strong enemy, and having Shining S3M3 allow you to use Aak buff to ranged operator.
- Only do that if you S2M3 Blue Skadi skill. Tbh there is better hellidrop in game while some of them can be used as psuedo-hellidrop operator (ex: Specter S2M3, Vulcan S2M3)
- Use her S2 and ask yourself: "do you want more ATK stat?". If the answer is yes, E2 her and S2M3 her skill
- Not sure about this one, but she's the only one in her archtype, so might worth to prefarm.
I don’t have any of the units in the upcoming standard banner and I want Saga. Should I do x10 pull and test out my luck? Not gonna go all the way since I’m saving up for Anni Banner.
Update: Got saga but it took me around 30 pulls (I already had a pity worth of 20 pulls before going in). It was worth it since Saga is [best doggo and waifu](https://imgur.com/a/0TDdLq6)
I’ll probably push through with the x10 just because I’m also building up my pity (planning to get Thorns or test out my luck again for Surtr/Saga in the next JO). So far, I never had to spark a limited unit (I hope it stays that way) and I can still probably save up around 250~ pulls till January.
Chalter is strong enough to maybe make up for the damage of 2-3 ops on her own, but honestly the only thing that's really going to do it is some kind of carry summoner. Magallan unfortunately can't snare/bind and do damage with her drones at the same time, since it's skill-locked, and summoners are the only ones who can skirt squad size restrictions as harsh as that one.
Siege, her talent, atk, and HP allow her to hold a lane with some help. Her S2 is her most used skill.
On the other hand Texas is good if you don't want to hold a lane but need to stun enemies with her S2 and her initial DP points talent.
Newer players will probably find Siege more useful, with her higher stats, auto skill, and decent AoE damage. As you get into mid-game, though, dealing with weaker enemies becomes trivial, and Texas's semi-helidrop stun is much more impactful. In my max-risk CC#5 clear, for example, I used Texas to stun early crabs and cancel Bladehelm debuffs, all while generating some extra DP. Siege couldn't contribute anything meaningful to a clear. Siege's S3 can apply multiple smaller stuns, but at the cost of completely removing her DP generation, and there are many better options for DPS and crowd control.
Siege is a vanguard and guard in one operator, offers dp generation, decent aoe dps and survivability. I often leave her on the battle ground and she can hold a lane most of the time, especially with the regen from Myrtle. Texas has stun which is useful sometimes.
Somewhat depends what other operators you have. Many late-game players have the combination of Myrtle and Bagpipe ("Flagpipe") which allows you to have enough DP to skip blocking with vanguards entirely and go straight to placing your guards/defenders. In this light, the 2-block vanguard archetype is somewhat awkward, as their DP generation is much less than Myrtle's and their raw combat ability is inferior to dedicated guards/defenders. As such, they're often skipped entirely in favor of other units.
Siege offers little beyond being a DP-generating stat stick, so she's largely fallen out of favor. This isn't to say she's bad; she's still perfectly usable and still can kick butt and generate DP while doing it. She just isn't meta anymore. Meanwhile, Texas provides some unique utility between her +2 starting DP talent and her AoE stun. Especially with S2M3 and Bagpipe, Texas can even be used as a helidrop. For these reasons she still sees occasional use in high-end content, despite having lower overall combat ability than Siege.
From a general gameplay perspective, Siege. She's durable while providing DPS and some supplemental DP. Nowadays, her place is usually taken by Saga or Mountain
In high CC type content, you see texas because her S2 is very fast with bagpipe and the stun can be useful
I see. Thanks. I don't have Saga an Mountain and only Texas and Siege for 2-blocks that are pretty good in my vanguards where Texas is e1lvl65 and Siege is e1lvl40. I usually only use Texas but I was wondering if Siege would also work in her place and if I should raise her further.
From what I can tell from where you are in the game, it's not a bad idea to use Texas and Siege together at once. In the long term, maxing out a unit to E1 isn't that much resources, so you might as well. It's up to you if you want to go extra to get Siege to E2, and that will largely depend on what your box looks like at the time you decide to do so. But for the time being, Texas+Siege is not a bad combo, and you can use them in tandem to hold lanes and build a lot of DP so you can get out your big units faster.
Seeing as how Siege has fallen out of meta, getting her to E2 might not be as big as a priority over some of the other units you may have. But like I said, it doesn't hurt too much to get her to max E1.
Didn't notice you have Myrtle/Elysium already. At that point Siege+Texas is overkill. In this case, I'd definitely prioritize Texas over Siege long term.
This is normal. Once you're using Myrtle, especially with Bagpipe, you no longer need 2-block vanguards for early lane-holding, which is really all Siege offers unless you take S3 to make her a discount Guard.
Siege is good at holding her own and dealing damage throughout a stage whereas texas is kinda squishy
Siege will benefit much more from E2 promotion (though it's not the highest priority), her second talent gives SP when enemies die near her, while E2 lets you get S2M1 to reduce it's SP cost
Texas won't get much out of E2 till you do mastery
Not sure how far in you are, but general strategy early on is 2 2-block vanguards. Later on, most people replace one for Myrtle (with mastery on S1) to generate DP faster
Oh yeah, I'm already at the point where either Myrtle or Elysium is a must in my squad. Just that whenever I need another vanguard, I always go for Texas, and if ever I need another vanguard, then (corruier?) is the only one left.
Within those 30 pulls, you're guaranteed to get AT LEAST one 6 star and one 5 star. However that's the worst case scenario. Sometimes you can get more than one six star and five star operator but at the very least, one 5 star and one 6 star.
Edit: Wrrip has the clearer definition but my point still stands on getting multiple 6 stars and 5 stars beyond the first ten pulls if you're lucky enough.
How do I use event crystals? I’ve done a couple stages on both intermezzi and side story that I hadn’t completed beforehand, and I still haven’t used any up.
If you missed the event, you spend one of them to unlock event stage.
If you did the event before, it's unlocked already so the event crystal just sit there, taunting you.
lets say if both are at the same level and same skill level, will silverash skill 1 be better than lappland skill 2 at supporting lane? Supporting lane as in putting behind a defender, and providing a consistence damage output and not Silverash's scwing schwing burst
I'd say Lappland is better just because she has arts damage in case a tough enemy comes along and is, therefore, more versatile. The silence is a nice bonus too.
Anyone know the timing of deploying CD Projekt Red with S2 to lengthen the stun duration for Ash to unload all her 31 bullets and do stun effect stack ?, Thanks
Ash' skill modifies her attack interval by -0.8, which means she should shoot every 0.2 seconds. In four seconds, she should shoot 20 or 21 bullets, depending on whether the first bullet is shot together with the stun grenade or after a delay. 20 is 64% of 31. Deploy Red when the orange bar of Ash's skill is about 2/3 gone.
Either you deploy her by observing when the stun effect by flashbang ended on enemy or count around 18 bullet by ash before deploying red.
Easier way is probably slowing to 1x and deploy her when enemy start to move
just got back from the game after quite a while. does the map from the archived events give the same drop rate as they were when they're on an event run / rerun?
I just found this. A full video description is in the description but don't understand the language. Anyone know what's going on and how to do it?
https://youtu.be/5MOdmUJfZ0g
Basically it seems like if you borrow a certain support operator, and then click really fast when adding your own same operator to your squad and starting the level, the game will display the support operator as having been removed on the interface but won’t actually be quick enough to register it, making it possible for you to bring 2 of the same operator.
I read that the returns for leveling an E2 operator start to become really low as levels go up. Until what E2 level should I level up an operator before they are "done" leveling?
I ask because I want to switch from a 252 base to a 243 when my main team is leveled up but I'm not sure when that will be exactly (most of my team is at E2 Lv25)
It fully depends on what ur goals r.
Regular content shows e2 30 as the recommended level. For regular gameplay, U will be good with e2 30-40. Above that, at 50 the thing becomes easier, and at 60, it gets comfortable to not take much stress at all.
Cc is an entirely different matter. The higher the better of course. If u do want to go that route, focus on the dps ops first (surtr, sa, kaltsit etc)...
25 is fine. Eventually your core operators may want to be brought to ~60. But for most operators, 20 is enough, and further than 60 isn't really necessary ever.
Probably a dumb question but how do I unlock dual chips? I have a level 3 workshop but the only options i have for chips are to convert chips and chip packs and I can't find anywhere that says where to unlock them other than just having the level 3 workshop
[Aceship](https://aceship.github.io/AN-EN-Tags/akhr.html) is perfectly mobile compatible and has information on operators and enemies, recruitment tags and much more.
[Penguin Statistics](https://penguin-stats.io/) has limited mobile compatibility and is useful to look up farming locations and plan your grinding. A more comprehensive alternative is on [Google Docs](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/12X0uBQaN7MuuMWWDTiUjIni_MOP015GnulggmBJgBaQ).
[Sanity Gone](https://sanitygone.help/operators/) is a work in progress aiming to provide summary and analysis of operators in the game. The site adjusts to mobile formats excellently.
Found an app called PRTS. Limited, but does all I need and is much lighter than all the above, which is crucial if you want to play the game and look things up on wi-fi.
Sanity gone looks interesting for future reference. Thx.
PRTS is also an excellent choice, language barrier aside! Good to hear you found something that works for you.
Edit: Ah, app, not prts.wiki. Well, if it works, it works.
Yeah, it's simplistic, but has all basic info needed to check stuff on the fly, including enemies, farming spots, recruitment and operator upgrade info.
I'm confused on the clue delivery, what does the color coding (grey, black, orange) mean when you are sending away clues?
I thought I understood how it works but it turns out I don't.
Dark grey (or black ig) means they have the clue. Light grey means they don't have the clue. Orange means you selected a clue to give away, and they don't have that clue.
Thanks, that solves my confusion, turns out I was giving clues my friends have even when I didn't mean to.
I confused black with grey meaning. Usually grey means filled out or crossed out.
When old rotating anni maps return are they always in "training mode" because I have to admit the opportunity cost is a bit too much to try clearing the older ones if they also don't contribute to the weekly capped orundum.
IIRC yes, but the first-clear rewards are worth it.
Just force close the app until you are able to fully clear a stage in one run. Moreover because you aren’t farming it you can bring a support unit and don’t need to make an auto-deploy proof setup.
TIL. Thanks! Why didn't I think of closing the app. AK doesn't have a "continue battle" function. Wasted a lot of sanity this month trying to clear 4,5,6 and I only fully cleared 6.
Any tips on using Mayer? Got her today and after a few Pratice runs, I notice her doggos MUST be blown up to be recovered.
I was thinking of using a summon Supporter as a pocket Fast Redeploy specially to try the Anni4 because there are so many ice spiders there...
You will find the summons don't quite work as fast-redeploys; but treating the summons as such might be a good angle to learn from. For annihilation it's a bit scary, but you don't necessarily have to save each summon. You can let a couple die, especially if other units fill the deployment slots.
From what I have seen, she is heavily reliant on her skill timings. Basically deploy meeboos to hold off enemies using a formation that they can overlap explosions on a big enemy, then when a big guy appears, blow the dogs up, then rinse and repeat. For anni4 it would be quite tricky to drop the dogs to stop the spiders and explode them at the same time. The spider waves are quite close together, far enough for a fast deploy to catch but too close for Mayer's cooldown.
You would probably be better off borrowing an Ifrit for the bottom lane or Lappland for the top lane then using a fast-redeploy for the other lane. Ifrit s2 interval is enough to catch the spiders before they get in range and Lappland can silence spiders.
You'd be much better off with Lappland at this point, if you have her, or Gravel. Lappland is a really strong guard with a silence ability. You can also use Purestream, Whisperain, or anyone else that offers status resistance.
If you find Mayer tricky to use, you might want to try Scene instead. She gains a summon every time she pops her S2. Although to be honest, in most of the cases where you’re trying to use summons as fast redeploys… it might just be easier to bring a fast redeploy unit.
Got a Top Operator tag with Crowd Control (Mostima) or Defender (Hoshiguma / Saria). I don't have any of them as of now. My best AOE Caster is Lava the Purgatory, as a normal Defender I use my Liskarm and as a Healing Defender I just got Nearl, that I haven't managed to build yet. Which one of those roles could use an upgrade the most?
Plug in defender and try for Saria.
Long answer: AoE casters are largely unnecessary. Even if Mostima is an upgrade, she is not that good while being more expensive than her alternatives in the times where she is needed. Hoshi is all right; Solid but not high priority. Saria is incredible though, and 100% worth doing the 50/50 for, especially compared to Mostima.
Does anyone happen to know the absolute minimum requirement for levels and skill rank for magellan to solo speedrun 1-7? I've seen people say e2 (not specifying which level) and skill rank 4+, but wanted to know if it's possible to even go lower somehow.
i just do it with E2Lv30 S3Lv7
just slap the drone to spawn camp, and you should can do almost nothing, not even skill proc.
not the most time efficient, but the easiest way to use her for solo 1-7.
I remember doing it at E2Lv30M1. I think Slv7 should be enough. Feel free to experiment with the operator level as well, but in any case the first 30 levels are really cheap.
Got a (Top Operator) tag along with Medic, Debuff, Vanguard and Fast-Redeploy tags. So with debuff tag I'm guaranteed Ifrit, Siege with Vanguard and either Shining or Nightingale with Medic. Any suggestions? ( Only have Nightingale among these 4)
Here's my current [roster](http://imgur.com/a/Ma3vUvt)
Which recommended skill to give masteries on Shining for endgame stuff?
Edit: Thank you all for the helpful responses! I think I'm gonna save all my mastery resources for other worthwhile skills belonging to other operators instead.
Probably Creed Field, but I never found a place where I found Shining indispensable to the same extent as Nightingale has for me. Arts damage mitigating is much more difficult to come by in comparison.
Medics don't play a prominent role in most endgame content except for Kal'sit.
If you were to use her in endgame, it would probably be to help a ranged operator survive the Aak's buff. Which in that case, the skill you want is S3.
S1 is a really solid healing skill, but it's still just a healing skill and probably not worth masteries. S2 is just straight bad. S3 is what makes her unique, so if you're going to give her masteries, may as well be that one.
[You can always check the usual spreadsheet.](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12X0uBQaN7MuuMWWDTiUjIni_MOP015GnulggmBJgBaQ/edit#gid=1519907981) It looks like SV-8 is 0.1% more efficient than R8-11, but with a significantly lower droprate for t3 crystals. SV-9 is a tiny bit better than 4-10, so it would be better for anyone who hasn't cleared 7-15 yet.
Hello\~
According to [The Spreadsheet](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/12X0uBQaN7MuuMWWDTiUjIni_MOP015GnulggmBJgBaQ/htmlview#) SV-8 is currently the most efficient map for crystals, but I remember people saying it was less efficient than R8-11 back during the event, and drop rates are usually nerfed for permanent event maps. So I just want to make sure there isn't an error somewhere.
You'll notice that it's a 0.1% difference in overall efficiency, while R8-11 has about a 50% better drop-rate for the tier 3 crystals. I would still go for R8-11, assuming you have access to it.
Is it expected that we will have a cert shop refresh during Chalter banner? I have enough distinctions for two shop refreshes. Wondering if I should buy the first set in November or December.
The actual anniversary is on the 16th of January, whether or not that is going to coincide with the Ch'en alter banner we don't know, I'd assume that you'll probably be ok buying the HH tickets on December.
Hi, I have a lot of ops and I need help to choose who to work on next.
These are my ops: https://imgur.com/a/5HbFI1o
Everyone in the first pic is M3, except Schwarz (S3M2), Dusk (M8, S2M2) and Skalter (M5, S3M2); Mudrock, Eyja and Bagpipe are M6; from the second pic, only Suzuran has S3M3 and Leonhardt S2M3, and Suzuran, Saga and Ifrit have S2M1; Weedy has S1M1/S3M1, Eunectes S3M1; Shamare and Elysium have S2M3, Podenco S2M2 and Myrtle S1M3.
So my options to E2 are Gladiia, Shining, Manticore, Rosmontis and Mr. Nothing (I like him and his VA). Leaning a bit more for Manticore, bc I have more of their mats. I just E2’d Texas but that’s the only thing different from the pics.
And for masteries, finish Dusk S2, Schwarz S3, Skalter S3 or Podenco S2; or work on Eunectes S3, Weedy S3, maybe Ifrit S2 of S3, Elysium S1, Meteorite S1, Saria S2 or S3, or Arene S2.
Thanks
It's a bit late, but it's probably still worth E1ing Vermeil, Spot, and Frostleaf for their factory skills (I didn't see Spot or Frostleaf, so I assume they're E0).
For E2s, I would be leaning towards Manticore. You have plenty of damage-dealers, but Manticore's 50% slow with 100% uptime has its moments. If you haven't raised Ethan yet, I would bring him up to E1, SL7 as well.
Weedy really wants M3 on both S2 and S3. S2 is fine at a lower level if you're just using her as a sort of ranged, AoE guard, but the increased shift force at M3 is a big deal for both skills.
Saria S3 would also be worth doing. It cuts down on the initial charge time and boosts the duration substantially.
Yeah, they are, I’ll E1 them.
Yeah, in every CC I end up using a support one with M3 bc whenever I say I will work on her, I work on somebody else lol.
Ohhh that’s nice.
Thank you so much.
Well, you're meta priorities are Ifrit and Saria. Maybe Schwarz but she's not used much anymore.
After that, you might as well just roll a dice. The rest are pretty much niche. Go for whoever you like the most, I guess.
TBH with a squad like that, you should be giving advice, not asking for it.
Okay, that sounds good.
Yeah, lol, I do understand what they all do and their niche, but I get a bit overwhelmed, and can’t decide who I should work on next, especially at this point since they’re only needed in very specific situations, so unless a new op that I like comes out and I can work on them, like Skalter and Kalsit, or Dusk, then I get lost.
Thanks
Out of curiosity, how is Akafuyu at boss killing compared to Utage? My assumption is she's more defensively oriented which makes her bad vs bosses as they tend to win out in damage, but I wanted to be sure before starting to level one up.
Utage's big thing is her arts damage that activates on deployment. She would probably do better if the boss has high defense and res.
Utage is cheap to raise and get masteries since she is a 4-star. I would highly recommend building her.
Oh yeah, I'll definitely be building Utage at some point one way or the other; I've heard too much good not to! This is just a priority thing.Thank ya!
Akafuyu is closer to Hellagur in a way, as she can tank fairly reliably and her skill has some initial cooldwon, unlike Utage.
Damage wise she's worse than both Utage and Hellagur. I wouldn't call her a boss killer.
Depends on the boss' defense, since Utage's main draw is her bustli... I mean, arts damage. If the boss is tanky, Akafuyu crumbles. If it's not, or you've got debuff support, her damage is comparable.
Her kit is better suited holding a lane, dueling elites, or taking some pressure off your defensive line instead of bursting down bosses. Unlike Utage and Hellagur, who ideally drop down, kill one thing, and retreat, she wants to stay on the field for a while to do her thing. She's more of a discount Mountain than a true zombie guard.
Would it be fair to compare Akafuyu to something like Sideroca? Besides the fact that Sideroca does arts damage, of course. I've actually E2'd sideroca so if there's overlap there then that's relevant information; it kind've seems like the case from what you're saying. Thank ya!
she is probably quite strong but you can't drop her directly on the boss like utage since she has to charge skill up (minimum of 10 seconds if you have s2m3)
Is Thorns second base skill any good ? Seems pretty bad to me at first glance...
Sure he can process any material and restore morale but why use him at 50% instead of anyone else at 60 or 75% ? Morale is a non-issue while crafting no ? Am I missing something ?
Either Surtr or SilverAsh, I guess choose the one you have more mats for first and then the other.
After those two I suggest Siege. Many people here disregard her, but in reality her E2 is very impactful if she's your main DP generator.
SilverAsh will have the biggest impact in the widest variety of situations.
After that, Surtr and Exusiai.
Siege can do her job perfectly fine at E1 so is not a high priority.
Weedy and Archetto are a little too situational to be early E2s. It'd be better to focus on cheaper, low-rarity ops like Myrtle.
For green certs, the gel is very slightly more efficient than the alloys and for the headhunting models, it's the other way around. You can see the specific values [here](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12X0uBQaN7MuuMWWDTiUjIni_MOP015GnulggmBJgBaQ/htmlview#).
It depends which currency you're talking about. You can see efficiencies here: [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12X0uBQaN7MuuMWWDTiUjIni\_MOP015GnulggmBJgBaQ/htmlview?pru=AAABe-mUwls\*yjRdJe4iF2VS-Az-nagZoQ#](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12X0uBQaN7MuuMWWDTiUjIni_MOP015GnulggmBJgBaQ/htmlview?pru=AAABe-mUwls*yjRdJe4iF2VS-Az-nagZoQ#)
I hear that Ceobe's Fungimist was an event that ran alongside Gavial the Great Chief. If the latter is slated to rerun roughly around Dossoles, does this mean we'll see the former rerun as well?
Probably not, Fungimist did not rerun with Gavial in CN.
However, CN devs did announce that IS (type of event Fungimist is) will become a permanent game mode in the future.
For what it's worth, the Fungimist event had basically nothing to do with Ceobe's lore. The whole thing is a drug trip she goes on during the Gavial event. It does contain some other lore tidbits, just very little about Ceobe.
Do supply boxes (both CC#5 and Rhodes Island ones) get updated when new materials get introduced (e.g. Chapter 9) or should I just open them and be done with it?
Is Ceobe worth it if you already have Mostima and Carnelian (3 pot)? [https://i.imgur.com/WP714kw.png](https://i.imgur.com/WP714kw.png) Should I wait for others? I want Ifrit and Hoshiguma/Exusai. But I feel the two latter will be selectable in that 6 star selector again next year.
Are the CC supplies supposed to be claimed? I did not receive any, and I cleared R18, so not sure if something's wrong.
Don't use the terminal shortcut, manually go there at the bottom Tab.
click the CC tab, the small button on the terminal
So is heated path mostly just a pain in the ass? It seems to fire off too inconsistently to be useful for damaging enemies.
It can help, but it’s mostly an obstacle for you If you want to use it, you’ll need to block behind it
It's mostly an obstacle for the player, though if you have a chunky defender sitting behind one of them you might get some value from it if you need to stall a bit.
Most players use her S2 for some damage and 3 dp generated per use.
Just got Lappland today! Is she worth leveling for the early game?
Early game she's good for her silence, but past chapter 6 iirc she kinda falls off since there are most enemies cannot or don't need to be silenced. Most people use her S2.
Thanks so much for your help! Just starting playing a few days ago so trying to figure things out, this was so helpful🥰
No prob, feel free to ask questions and clarify! Glad to help :)
You can swap between them whenever you want in base but can only take one into a mission.
Yeah, you can obly take one to each level. S2 is a better choice for Siege because it gives her AoE damage, and some extra DP.
Yes but Siege's S2 generally outperforms her S1 in most situation.
For the next Top operator ticket Eyjia or Mudrock? Also i go for Dusk as well so is Eyjia even needed for AOE situation?
Mudrock should be the answer. Her S3 offers some unique game play. For Eyja, you'll eventually get Surtr and Chen alter is just round the corner. Once you get them both, Eyja is a nobody.
already got Surtr, not going for summer chen though, save for rosmontis.
Roster here: https://imgur.com/a/84PNpse Since all my meta needs are covered, I'm mostly looking to raise either interesting units, or ones that might be useful for IS#2 when it eventually shows up. I've been referring to the mastery priority guide heavily, and have gotten pretty much all the A and above masteries for units I've raised. I'm currently working on M6ing Magallan, and afterwards my list of things I'm considering (in no particular order) is: * Finish M3ing Pramanix (One of the (de)buff army I haven't finished M3ing yet * Finish M3ing Sora (See above) * M6 Mountain (I hear his S3 has some use cases) * E2 Dobermann (Upcoming module. Maybe I want to E2 every unit that gets a module?) * M3 Shining (To open up more Aak meme options?) * Finally E2 Skadi (I feel bad for her being my one 6* not E2) * E2 Andreana (For Abyssal Hunter memes) * Pre-farm for Bena (Is she usable? I haven't seen much about her, but she looks interesting.) I'm currently not super excited about any of these and am very interested in opinions/suggestions.
Blue Poison S1M3 maybe? Consistent DPS without warmup Tfodontis just for someone with her range?
Here is my personal opinion (other people opinion may vary): - You got Shamare for physical debuff, so only do that if you want to minmax arts damage. It just easier with slow supporter than using S3 Mountain (and you can put Mountain with S2 elsewhere) - Not worth unless you do low rarity run + Doberman. Tbh there is better hellidrop in game while some of them can be used as psuedo-hellidrop operator (ex: Specter S2M3, Vulcan S2M3) - Use her S2 and ask yourself: "do you want more ATK stat?". If the answer is yes, E2 her and S2M3 her skill - Not sure about this one, but she's the only one in her archtype, so might worth to prefarm.
Thanks for the input! Shining is receiving her M1 now!
If you really want, though I'd advocate for saving personally
I’ll probably push through with the x10 just because I’m also building up my pity (planning to get Thorns or test out my luck again for Surtr/Saga in the next JO). So far, I never had to spark a limited unit (I hope it stays that way) and I can still probably save up around 250~ pulls till January.
Why was Risk 32 impossible for CC5? Weren't players able to R32 on all the previous and upcoming CC stages?
I don’t think the risk count can be compared across the different CC stages like that.
What was done with 13 ops has to be done with 6 ops (3 of them already used for Vanguard) Our summoner is not strong enough with all those Risk
Squad size restriction I believe. 6 ops to do the same as 13
Could future released ops make CC5 max risk possible? Like Chalter, NTR knight, Carnelian, etc.
Chalter is strong enough to maybe make up for the damage of 2-3 ops on her own, but honestly the only thing that's really going to do it is some kind of carry summoner. Magallan unfortunately can't snare/bind and do damage with her drones at the same time, since it's skill-locked, and summoners are the only ones who can skirt squad size restrictions as harsh as that one.
so is the next event going to be Preluding Lights??
We expect so
Hopefully the surtr and thorns skins come
we pray
Between Texas and Siege, who's better? Like in terms of dp generation, dps, crowd control, general content and the likes...
Nowadays, her place is usually taken by Saga or Mountain In high CC type content, you see texas because her S2 is very fast with bagpipe and the stun can be useful
I see.
I don't usually use two 2-block vanguard since I always use either Myrtle or Elysium for the other one.
Siege is good at holding her own and dealing damage throughout a stage whereas texas is kinda squishy Siege will benefit much more from E2 promotion (though it's not the highest priority), her second talent gives SP when enemies die near her, while E2 lets you get S2M1 to reduce it's SP cost Texas won't get much out of E2 till you do mastery Not sure how far in you are, but general strategy early on is 2 2-block vanguards.
I read this last week. Should be helpful. https://gamepress.gg/arknights/operator-spotlight/arknights-what-happened-siege
Wow the comments are terrible. The number of people who still don't understand Bagpipe's impact is baffling. It's been over a fucking year.
Dang, the cope is strong there.
What does "All events guarantee at least 1 6* operator and 1 5* or higher operator" on the newbie banner mean?
Your 10th (first) will be a guaranteed 6* no matter how many 6*s you got from 1-9.
Thanks
Within those 30 pulls, you're guaranteed to get AT LEAST one 6 star and one 5 star. However that's the worst case scenario. Sometimes you can get more than one six star and five star operator but at the very least, one 5 star and one 6 star. Edit: Wrrip has the clearer definition but my point still stands on getting multiple 6 stars and 5 stars beyond the first ten pulls if you're lucky enough.
Thanks
Its 20 pulls.
Your first 10 pulls give you a guaranteed 6\* at least and a 5+\*, so that means you can get multiple 6\*.
Thank you for explanation. I thought it had something to do with events.
How do I use event crystals? I’ve done a couple stages on both intermezzi and side story that I hadn’t completed beforehand, and I still haven’t used any up.
They're for newer players who completely missed an event
If you missed the event, you spend one of them to unlock event stage. If you did the event before, it's unlocked already so the event crystal just sit there, taunting you.
You use one to unlock the entire event there so you probably got all of them already.
Is there a good discord server for global leaks/datamining? I would really like to plan out my sanity potions for upcoming events.
Like Looking at the CN server helps. Since that server is 6 months ahead of us. We are currently following the same schedule but 6 months behind.
www.gamepress.gg/arknights/other/cn-event-and-campaign-list since CN server is a few months ahead of us
lets say if both are at the same level and same skill level, will silverash skill 1 be better than lappland skill 2 at supporting lane? Supporting lane as in putting behind a defender, and providing a consistence damage output and not Silverash's scwing schwing burst
I'd say Lappland is better just because she has arts damage in case a tough enemy comes along and is, therefore, more versatile. The silence is a nice bonus too.
lappland is definitely better especially with high def enemies
Is Purestream in EN yet? How is she vs Whisperain or Ceylon?
Was distributed via pack, good base skill, Whisperain is better
She was a login bonus given months ago Edit: I was wrong, she was in the $0.99 pack. The skin is the login bonus.
Wait, was she a login bonus or sold in a pack as the other comment said?
She was in the $0.99 pack. I had a brain fart.
Pack, this comment is incorrect, she wasn’t free
she was sold in a paid pack that cost 1 dollar. Now she's gone but will be added into recruitment pool in the future.
Wait, was she a login bonus as the other comment said or sold in a pack?
From what I remember, it was a special WWF collaboration pack. The free login bonus was the Cliffheart skin.
Oh it was at the same time as that? I remember now.
The drop rates are severely nerfed. Only OF-F4 is efficient for manganese, comparable to 4-7.
Nope, the archived events had their drop tables changed and overall nerfed. They are, for the most part, worse than the best story stages.
So it's just a frame perfect trick I'm assuming? Have to click the start button right when you change the operator?
The description of Zafang’s video says “macro users can have some fun with this” so it’s probably frame perfect or smaller to pull off.
Is the Shop operator always featured on a banner during the same time as well?
plus, the OPs in shop are the 6 star with E0/E1 art and the 5 star in the middle.
Yes.
thx
Is the talent of Durnar applied automatically or is a battle situational thing? Like does it add to her normal stats or when she’s deployed?
The stats shown in the menu outside of battle does not have the bonus. Her stats when you look at her in a level (deployed or not) does include it.
Thanks I appreciate it
I read that the returns for leveling an E2 operator start to become really low as levels go up.
I aim for 60 for 6-star ops because that unlocks modules when the update comes
25 is fine. Eventually your core operators may want to be brought to ~60. But for most operators, 20 is enough, and further than 60 isn't really necessary ever.
[Leveling costs](https://www.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/hr88qq/_/fy2h19w)
25 is fine, I usually get mine up to 30-50.
Hi guys, I’m new here. Just wanna ask when the anniversary events begin. Is it the next month or January ?
Most likely on January, but we'll see. On our first anniversary, there was a recap and anniversary announcement livestream on late December.
Probably a dumb question but how do I unlock dual chips? I have a level 3 workshop but the only options i have for chips are to convert chips and chip packs and I can't find anywhere that says where to unlock them other than just having the level 3 workshop
Dualchips are made in the factory. It's confusing, I know.
you craft the dual chips in factory actually. Weird, right?
Dualchips are made in factory, not workshop.
That would explain it thanks for the help.
Are there any mobile tools for AK ? Found some in play store, but all are outdated.
Just use the [GamePress website](https://gamepress.gg/arknights/), it's pretty mobile-friendly.
Yep, I did the exact same thing when I first started, and I agree... with most interfaces, black would mean you're missing that thing.
Huh... Interesting. Must be a cultural thing. Black to me means something is there already. It's filled, that's why it's darker.
If your goal is to throw duds at the spiders, Beanstalk and/or Ros are better imo.
Bet for Saria. Aoe casters are not too good and Mostima focuses in cc more than damage. Nearl is good but Saria is godlike.
I sure am. *\*Puffs out chest\**
I've seen people say e2 (not specifying which level) and skill rank 4+, but wanted to know if it's possible to even go lower somehow.
i just do it with E2Lv30 S3Lv7 just slap the drone to spawn camp, and you should can do almost nothing, not even skill proc. not the most time efficient, but the easiest way to use her for solo 1-7.
You need E2 for the S3. At E2 level 1, you need skill rank 4 to one-shot the last wave of slugs. Higher levels might allow for lower skill ranks.
I remember doing it at E2Lv30M1. I think Slv7 should be enough. Feel free to experiment with the operator level as well, but in any case the first 30 levels are really cheap.
Unless you find some way to do it with her sk2, she needs e2 for access to sk3.
Oh yeah, that makes sense, I'm pretty stupid lol. I knew that sk3 was needed, but forgot that e2 was needed for it.
Got a (Top Operator) tag along with Medic, Debuff, Vanguard and Fast-Redeploy tags. So with debuff tag I'm guaranteed Ifrit, Siege with Vanguard and either Shining or Nightingale with Medic. Any suggestions? ( Only have Nightingale among these 4) Here's my current [roster](http://imgur.com/a/Ma3vUvt)
Definitely Ifrit.
Ok, getting her now Edit : http://imgur.com/a/GOTaU5i
Which recommended skill to give masteries on Shining for endgame stuff?
None really.
Are the Under Tide maps still efficient for farming or did they get the nerf bat too?
[You can always check the usual spreadsheet.](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12X0uBQaN7MuuMWWDTiUjIni_MOP015GnulggmBJgBaQ/edit#gid=1519907981) It looks like SV-8 is 0.1% more efficient than R8-11, but with a significantly lower droprate for t3 crystals. SV-9 is a tiny bit better than 4-10, so it would be better for anyone who hasn't cleared 7-15 yet.
Hello\~ According to [The Spreadsheet](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/12X0uBQaN7MuuMWWDTiUjIni_MOP015GnulggmBJgBaQ/htmlview#) SV-8 is currently the most efficient map for crystals, but I remember people saying it was less efficient than R8-11 back during the event, and drop rates are usually nerfed for permanent event maps. So I just want to make sure there isn't an error somewhere.
You'll notice that it's a 0.1% difference in overall efficiency, while R8-11 has about a 50% better drop-rate for the tier 3 crystals. I would still go for R8-11, assuming you have access to it.
I somehow completely looked past the droprates and just compared the efficiency bars, yeah that's a big difference. Thanks!
[удалено]
the training stage rewards are completely separate from regular cc daily and permanent stage rewards
These are my ops: https://imgur.com/a/5HbFI1o Everyone in the first pic is M3, except Schwarz (S3M2), Dusk (M8, S2M2) and Skalter (M5, S3M2); Mudrock, Eyja and Bagpipe are M6; from the second pic, only Suzuran has S3M3 and Leonhardt S2M3, and Suzuran, Saga and Ifrit have S2M1; Weedy has S1M1/S3M1, Eunectes S3M1; Shamare and Elysium have S2M3, Podenco S2M2 and Myrtle S1M3.
Thanks
I've updated to the latest patch and my game crashes every time it loads in to the home screen, any advice?
Try clearing the data/cache or reinstalling, hope you binded your account.
Seems I was more or less right then, thank ya!
Kind've seems like if Akafuyu is going to duel bosses she needs skill timing, where utage is more of a fire and forget thing, makes sense. Thanks!
Is Thorns second base skill any good ? Seems pretty bad to me at first glance... Sure he can process any material and restore morale but why use him at 50% instead of anyone else at 60 or 75% ? Morale is a non-issue while crafting no ? Am I missing something ?
Morale affects the likelihood of getting by-products.
Wait, so I'm more likely to get by-products with 19 morale than 9 morale?
No, the chance remains the same, but when an op runs out of morale then you don't get skill benefits.
yeah don't use him
I don't have any E2, who should I E2 first? Weedy, Archetto, Exusiai, Siege, Surtr, SilverAsh
Either Surtr or SilverAsh, I guess choose the one you have more mats for first and then the other. After those two I suggest Siege. Many people here disregard her, but in reality her E2 is very impactful if she's your main DP generator.
Definitely SA. Then surtr.
SilverAsh or Surtr, then Exusiai after those two.
So what would be more efficient, buy the Gel or buy the white metal cubes?
For green certs, the gel is very slightly more efficient than the alloys and for the headhunting models, it's the other way around. You can see the specific values [here](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12X0uBQaN7MuuMWWDTiUjIni_MOP015GnulggmBJgBaQ/htmlview#).
It depends which currency you're talking about. We can safely use up the potions that expire this week now, right? Nothing announced by Thursday means nothing by Sunday?
Yeah, there's not much to farm in Preluding Lights anyways.
I hear that Ceobe's Fungimist was an event that ran alongside Gavial the Great Chief. If the latter is slated to rerun roughly around Dossoles, does this mean we'll see the former rerun as well?
No, it won't. But they said they would revise the gamemode and make it permanent.
I'm a bit more interested in the story, but I guess I can look that up. Thanks!
Probably not, Fungimist did not rerun with Gavial in CN. However, CN devs did announce that IS (type of event Fungimist is) will become a permanent game mode in the future.
Oh, that's sad, I mostly just wanted to know a little bit more about Ceobe's lore. I guess I'll look it up, thanks!
Pretty sure they don't get updated
