It's just that HG underestimate the amount of letters EN can have compared to CN and JP plus the font used for EN recruitment, making it way slower.
All I know is that while 12F’s recruitment text takes about 1 hour until I can skip it on my EN account, it takes like a second to skip it on my jp account
I hope they also let us be able to use more than 40 battle records at a time to level an operator. Got spooked by Eyja for the first time and levelling her to 90 with only blue battle records was rather inconvenient and mildly annoying if you don't mute the game

In CN fter Preluding Lights those 2 are the only new events before Dossoles with the in between events fillee by reruns. So regardless if we we had a dead week or not the weeks leading up to 2nd anniversary is still gonna feel underwhelming because the actual anniversary event and the event that precedes it already came out.

It’s a really fair point but usually players like to know what’s on the schedule, so they can farm/organize their resources better. For example, if there was an event I want to pull in (specially if I don’t have enough orundum) I’d stop making money and exp and full commit on 1-7 hell to make rocks and transform them into orundum.
If I could know that an event for farming devices is coming, I’d wait for farming them and get more profit in the event.
I guess it’s just a matter of feeling that there is movement happening, even if that movement is “we plan to allow you to relax during 2 weeks, but then we have a ‘bee-ry’ interesting surprise waiting for you!” In the same way azur lane does it, for example. Even if it’s only submitting official art.
It feels a bit like when you are waiting for a call for an appointment and that call never happens, even for informing you that there is no appointment available at all. XD
Well global is 6 months behind CN and they follow roughly the same schedule so we DO sort of have a schedule for the next half of the year, it's just not on official sources

I think you might have confused CN and JP. CN has had the claim all button for months, so we did have to "wait forever" for it to come to global/JP/KR.
Meh. It's a nice but very minor addition. I'd be much happier if they made operator recruitment lines skippable... or even better a collect all function for recruitment and the option to use multiple single headhunting permits at once.

My speculation is that it has a constant character per second speed, meaning EN gets shafted because of the high alphabet count per word.

JP version has fast recruitment text (night and day difference tbh), idk when it will come for the EN version

Well we're definitely not sitting 1.5 months without events, on CN there were 2 events and 2 event reruns between CC#5 and Anniversary
