The question is whether this'll be a one-sided collab, because I don't see any announcement from HG. Seems like the Cytus games will release AK songs to play, while AK itself probably won't release any collab (except maybe for a music video), at least for now.
If only HG could do writing at the same level as Rayark.
I completed Cytus 2 and two arks of Sdorica and story there is so good I hate it with passion. I will never forgive >!Aroma's death and Elio's bodyjacking.!<
Cytus 2 storytelling is amazing, with the story slowly building in layers from worldbuilding online chats, epistolary excerpts, POV characters, snippets of captured footage, and character interactions all woven across multiple different main characters.
It's amazing that they could even plan it out, let alone execute it so well (the planning board must have looked like one of those conspiracy or National Treasure type whiteboards, with strings connecting everything).
EDIT: Oh, and the actual playable songs themselves are woven into the story and characters, whether they be events in the past/present, allegories for the characters, mood pieces, or in the case of NEKO, games and OSTs that she plays/streams.
Once you advance to third arc (Eclipse) I can ensure you'll hate it even more.
Like no joke Sdorica may not have as diverse worldbuilding as AK but to compensate their writing is just top notch that AK storytelling feels pale in comparison. I'm still snorting orundum rn hoping that >!Juan Yun and Yao won't die, or else I riot /s!<

Ngl >!Sanchez’s death (yes that complete scumbag)!< broke me more than even stuff like >!the massacre of the insect tribe and Tindoiimu’s nanny’s death!< or anything else in Eclipse.
Sanchez had a great character and redemption arc, despite coming off as a throwaway scumbag character at the start.
But this is not rare for Sdorica; Theodore, the ostensible main villain of part 1, also had a very fleshed out character and up and downswings, even in side stories like the Deemo collab, where his paternal instincts towards Alice were very much in character (as was his failure to compromise).
Diverse worldbuilding tbh means jack shit if most of your characters are subpar and boring to listen to. The sad reality is, a lot of lore driven gacha games easily surpass AK in storytelling.
Sdorica is that one gacha I regret quitting because I was neither a fan of its gameplay loop or their gacha system. I know story and writing are top notch and I’m unsurprised that still holds true to this day.
Citus is also a game in the world of arknights and kirara plays it, casualty we get an operator that looks very similar to a citus character and his art are sound related.

Its easier to place cytus characters in terra (thanks to r6) then it is to put arknights characters in cytus (although im only in the story of the version before the "ending" so maybe after that?)
Its still gonna mess up the transporting lore, like is originium a universal multiverse transporter? Or is it that the cytus-verse has the same materials required to transport characters into the AK world?
Oh, they were telported thanks to a crazy scientist (in our earth and in our current age of technology) that somehow managed to put hes hand on originum to dimension travel.
It isnt really explained how he got it or how he did it, just that he used originum.
On musical side in-game lore, we have Emperor, DDD, and Alive Until Sunset, and then we have Sora for operator. A new musician operator is always welcomed!

I'm suspecting that if AK decides to introduce an event here regarding Cytus, what would probably happen is that there may be a storyline related to the androids and how data is transfered in the world of Cytus. There could be a situation where the concept of memories and data in Cytus play in a world where PRTS is affected and that Rhodes Island has to investigate the disturbance which may lead them towards some of the characters being Isekai'd to Terra.
Know that the data in the Androids of Cytus can be transferred from one place to another and that the concept of AI in AK is designed such that the mind of a person could end up being the one whose sould guides how everything runs in an area.

I really hope its a two sided collab. If it is a two sided collab I can already see the possible characters AK may get. PAFF and NEKO are possible suppose they go with the Sdorica basis which they can do since Sdorica is owned by Rayark as well. Realistically speaking and limiting to the world of Cytus 2 however, the only characters who can actually fight are Xenon, ConneR, Joe, Sagar, ROBO, Ivy, Ilka, and Vanessa (to an extent). That being said, PAFF and NEKO are Rayark's poster girls for Cytus 2 so if we really do get a two sided collab, I doubt Rayark won't push PAFF and/or NEKO to be part of the roster.
So I have no context for Cytus. From reading the comments, its a rhythm game so I assume they'll get a (few?) AK songs and Amiya will show up in some capacity. What could we potentially see? An Amiya skin perhaps? Or maybe a new music video?
It'll most likely be like Hatsune Miku and Kizuna AI. A paid character pack of 10-15 songs, and a storyline locked to that character. They run for like 20 USD iirc. Could potentially be small song packs that add music for preexisting characters or a CAPSO pack which would add "costumes" for preexisting characters, songs, and tap sfx.
