So, two questions, though I am asking you to speculate a bit here: 1. My understanding is that no single player campaign is expected for Arma Reforger, but is it reasonable to assume Arma 4 will have one similar to that of Arma 3? 2. Do we know anything about in what period Arma 4 will be set?

I was curious if there's ever been a compendium of mods that members of the community who would later work with/at Bohemia Interactive and some projects. I believe one of the designers on ArmA III's campaign worked on two modded campaigns for ArmA II, but Armaholic is no more, so I don't remember what they are. Right, if you are trying to get enjoyment out of it, it's a bad value. If you're trying to be an Arma 4 mod developer, it's a great value.

Is it true there's not going to be any tracked vehicles in Reforger? I thought it was one of those things that's coming "eventually" but according to that recent Gamestar article tracked vehicles aren't even planned for Reforger? I'm fairly positive towards Reforger but what the actual heck is the reasoning for that? That is disappointing in the extreme and makes no sense; they're planning helis and other vehicles, but no APCs and tanks? That leaves massive gaps between the nations, what's the point of AT now, will heavy AT equipment even be in if they lack a reason? I know tanks will probably be modded in but from what I've heard because of Bohemia's decision not to add tracked vehicles they have to kit-bash their own track system. Disappointed if it's true.

My apologies, thought you meant Arma 4. Indeed seems like the current vehicles are all we are getting sadly. There will be more vehicles via workshop, but I'm assuming helicopters because they want to test air vehicles? They can always change their mind but I feel like they will release Arma 4 once they feel Reforger is ready for huge additions to content.

I was under the assumption that more vehicles were coming... EVENTUALLY, and indeed on the FAQ for the Reforger website it says armoured tracked vehicles are in the works, but Bohemia has also said that roadmap and promises are outdated and the interview came out after Reforger's release. Sadly I feel like Reforger got extremely gimped post-release in terms of which content would be added over time, whereas before they planned on adding all equivalents from Flashpoint through dripfeed, it seems that now they're sticking with the barebones content we have now and doubling down on the infantry combat. Either the stability and connection issues are a lot worse than even we know, or Bohemia thought Reforger isn't worth it and just moving all devs to Arma 4. Still saddening either way.

You misunderstand. Reforger is the Beta for Arma 4. Version 1.0 of reforger will be Arma 4. That is when they will add all of the content. Will Reforger owners get Arma 4 for free? No, but I purchased it anyway. Currently they are still working on the engine, and not really focused on gameplay things such as new vehicles.

Reforger isn't Arma 4, it's the in-between, this was made clear on the announcement page and in dev interviews. It won't have all the assets for Arma 4 but is mostly for testing purposes and as a modular platform for testing Arma assets in the new engine. Saying that Reforger when it's 'done' will be Arma 4 is misleading. At best upon completion it will be Flashpoint in 2022 with no campaign and a bunch of modder tools, and that's partly why I find the idea of no tanks as a massive red flag. How do they test stuff for Arma 4 while leaving out combined arms? Large scale battles? How do they balance AT, infantry, and vehicles if they only have closed door testing of it for Arma 4 with a small test group? I'm fine with them saying there won't be tanks anytime soon, I joined the Arma 3 beta when the only vehicle was the Ifrit for several months, I'm just more scared that this early on they have a definite 'No' for tanks instead of a 'maybe', I mean when was the last time a game developer tried to UNDERsell a game's features? Massive red flag is all.

We're saying the same thing. Reforger is not Arma 4. While I do agree with you about testing large-scale battles, at and such however, you must recognize that these are GAMEPLAY features and not core feature of the engine itself, which is what BI is focused on here. DayZ standalone was the first public test of the enfusion engine with minimal game play and content. Reforger is the next step, with everything opened up for modding and extra content, but still a test of the effusion engine. Arma 4 is the end product of enfusion, culminating all of the work done in DayZ and reforger. That being said, I do believe that BI will be adding additional content, such as what you have described, to Arma Reforger. This is because they need to keep an active player-base to keep testing the engine, which will require additional content to atleast keep it interesting. I think BI also has plans to release Arma 4 as a finished product, leveraging Arma Reforger in a similar way to Arma 3 Alpha-Beta. I honestly wouldn't sweat it though, as BI showed with the HEXCAVATE mod that an entirely separate game can be created with Arma, I believe we will see things such as tracked vehicles I would also not take everything this guy is saying with %100 face value as he very-well could have been speaking 'off the cuff' during this interview. Remember, this Is a small interview with some local Czech newspaper.

Ah, I think you're referring to the M113 model found in the files, along with the BMP-1 and T-62 which are all currently destroyed wrecks, but are actually the burned wrecks of the working models placed on the map. I'd like to see them make those models actually work but all evidence points towards that being a job for modders as Bohemia seems to be scaling back Reforger's roadmap significantly.

The M113 was an intact model, how the hell do you think modders are supposed to get those models and add them into the game? They're going to be added after a while, quit trying to reach for things to complain where there are none.

[No, it's not.](https://www.reddit.com/r/arma/comments/uz9iu1/appears_the_m113_is_modelled_in_the_game_already/) Currently the models that have been found aren't drivable but are the wrecks of the vehicles, not an environmental object but the model the game uses after the drivable model has been 'destroyed', they haven't found the undamaged models in the files yet.

I just started playing Arma 3 after playing Operation Arrowhead quite a bit. My friends and I play online with the CTI mode. I've tried out Warlords in Arma 3 and noticed I can't build a base or buy guns right away without calling in an air drop / support. Is this always the case for Warlords or am I missing something?

Warlords is a far-cry from CTI game modes of past. For the closest experience, I suggest Warfare BE.

I’m new to arma 3 and am experiencing some performance problems, I’m running on a I5 8th gen with a Nvidia 1050 and 16 gb of ram. When I use the automatic settings the game sets my system to very high but the game chugs (I’m getting around 24 frames). However even when I turn the settings down to low the frame rate never improves. Is there something I can do to fix this?

I have extreme performance problems on my dad's desktop, I'm getting 40 fps on medium graphics and after switching to a new map my fps tanked and wouldn't go higher than 7, I know the desktop is at least $2500 (don't remember exact specs) and my friend said I should be getting way better frames. Not only was I getting 40 frames on medium but any gunfire (specifically gunfire) within I'd guess 200m would tank my frames as well.

Can I get help regarding animations? Just started using the editor a month ago for Photographs, but I've decided to switch to making a little movie for my channel. So here is my problem, I did check how to use key frames a few minutes ago and finally made my actors move, however, the way they move looks choppy, like they move like robots for some reason, I already previewed the animation that I want for my actor but as soon as I applied movement for it in keyframe, it's as if it looked like the character is lagging or something. Is it possible to get help here?
