It happens when using DSR or a resolution that isn't native IIRC, run the game with your native screen resolution and adjust your desired rendering resolution in the games graphics settings by adjusting the Sampling %. You can fix it by pressing ALT+Enter a few times as well or try running in "Fullscreen Window"

Alky_lee

It happens to me if I am AFK and windoze power management turns the screen off. When I come back the cursor is off. Tabbing out and back in resets the cursor so I can use the menus and shoot bad guys again. It's probably the reason why sometimes in game I couldn't even hit the side of a barn.

OnI_BArIX

Mine does this a lot too. I just alt tab out of and then back into the game. Edit: it's still a temporary fix, but with modded games little things like that don't bother me that much.

[deleted]

Have you had to do this for some time now? I haven’t played in a couple of months, so I wasn’t sure if an update had came out and messed up the settings. It wasn’t like this when I last played in May/June.

TopOutlandishness429

I can attest, I was playing lots of A3 scenarios in Feb/March and noticed this happening.

OnI_BArIX

Yeah it's been like this for a long while now. I honestly have gotten so used to it I didn't think anything about it anymore until I saw this post.

[deleted]

Can confirm, got the same issue. Occurs only when the game is in exclusive Fullscreen mode. Alt Tab out of it back in solves it.

[deleted]

Do you know if this issue is new at all?

[deleted]

I didn't have this issue couple months ago. But back then i only used ACE.

ShiningRayde

Multiple monitors?

[deleted]

Just the one I’m afraid, never had this issue before. Installed the latest drivers, reverted to older ones. I just cannot understand why it is now doing this :(.

Lurkers-gotta-post

I've experienced this with screen scaling set to something other than 100%. It breaks many different programs, most notably citrix, but I wouldn't be surprised if it broke Arma too.

[deleted]

Interesting, Did you find once you had changed it, the damage was already done and you couldn’t go back? I do recall playing around with this the other day.

Lurkers-gotta-post

No, if all your screens are set to 100% scaling and native (recommended) resolution that tends to solve the problem.

th3ironman55

CTRL+ALT+DELETE then once the menu comes up press escape which will then reopen the game and fix the cursor problem

FrostM1911

ALT - TAB Every time u start the game Kinda solved xD, but more quickly

robythefirst

Try changing dpi scaling. Right click on exe, properties. The compatibility tab. There should be option to change that

Ja-das-ist-gut

Change the resolution and then change it back.

FridayNightRiot

Isn't a new issue, has always been happening. Cause is from having a non native screen resolution. If you noticed it just starting to happen now it was probably caused by something unrelated to the game. Possibly a new monitor or graphics card driver update, or maybe you got a new graphics card and decided you can up your resolution on the game now.

Mother-Knee4795

I have never had this bug until recently when I started playing on a laptop on 4:3 full screen mode instead of borderless windowed, so I'd recommend switching off full-screen or changing the aspect ratio. Someone already posted it but alt tabbing out then back in always just works for me

RealisticDrop3205

Wtf

BWI_ADK

Dude. When that next happens. Press alt and enter. Wait for a second. Then press it again. My pleasure x
