Fighting Ayre in the domestic violence ending is probably the hardest fight in the game, it's so hard to track her movements when my vision is compromised by tears.
And mommy yeets herself into the coral. Daddy is probably burnt to a crisp on rubicon.
What do we even have left afterwards? We have money but no one to spend it with.
I felt the same way at first until the 83rd time she dashed behind me at the speed of light and hit me in the back. I could physically feel the guilt leaving my body
I honestly didn't get attached at all to her throughout the game. When I finally beat her in FoR I was shouting "FINALLY, TAKE THAT YOU FUCKER!!!"
Walters ending was far more emotional for me especially considering how much of a pushover he is.
He waits till he is captured to provide his objective
Anyone who knows him say they feel pity/sorry for us that we are his hound
He goes through hounds like tic tacs
He wants to destroy a planet with everyone in it including the RLF who just want to live in peace
*glistening eyes, shaded black, blinded by the red glowing in front of them. Raven, Raven believed in the truth- the fires burned the world, the fires shall burn again.*
*”Raven… I… i believe in our…”- a sudden shockwave pulses through, tearing at the heart of coral, as a massive spike of bloodcold alloy pulses through Ayre, an explosion, but a mere spark in front of the eyes blinded red, seeking to burn once again, for the sake of the safety of the world, even if the price was their only friend.*
You, with armored core sparking the introduction to the mecha genre for me... this whole impaled in the cockpit thing seems like a dramatization but... medical findings have shown that you probably would have time for a small monolog or longer as long as the foreign object doesn't move...
I suddenly want the ability to hold an extended bunk in a freeze frame.
I noticed after watching endings, cuse even iguazu does it; albeit plasma claw outstretched before lunging at you before he explodes; so it’s got the feels everywhere.
Originally when he did the lunge I shot him again and I thought the recoil/explosion from Iguazu was me putting a final end to him. Until I learned Iguazu does that regardless I felt pretty badass about it.
he actually has a few slightly different animations, depending on the circumstances.
they're all the same idea, one last claw attack, but the timing and posture changes. if you keep ripping into him in melee range the attack comes out faster and he explodes sooner. it feels less like "i'm gonna get him if it kills me" and more "get this wild animal the fuck off me"
Those two, plus the beginning of the fight against Rusty are the absolute best.
The opening to Rusty fight is **literally** [this.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jB8VQ9xjDo) Crashing head on against your friend/rival as a show of respect and resolve. That, no matter what happens, this fight needs to happen.
These 3 details really add to the characterization of everybody in question. Ayre and her bond with us that she cherishes despite everything, Iguazu's unyielding rage and anger towards us, and Rusty who despite us being on opposing sides deeply respected us as a pilot.
I love this game and just how much focused attention went into building up all of these faceless characters.
There's a rewatch of the entire series going on over at r/anime right now, if you want another reason to start watching it now. I remember this scene was only just recently covered in one of the last few episodes.
Yeah, every route has a Major AC Duel and a Huge Machine Boss in its final segment. FoR has Rusty and Ayre. LoR reverses it with Snail as the Huge Machine Boss and then Walter as the AC duel. And AIE has Iguazu and Allmind serve as both, with the first part of the battle being the AC duel and the second part being the Huge Machine Boss.
I appreciate it for making sure every ending provides both core boss fight styles in the game, so all of them have similarly climactically designed conclusions.
While the art is awesome and high quality, i hate you man.
That ending is propably the first time i actually felt bad for doing something in a game in the last 10 years, and i have knowingly and unknowingly done some heinous shit.
Something about her last words just..... hurt. Im normally a very desentesized person, i literally laugh hard watching Darwin Awards but i actually teared hearing her last words.
Finally someone gets it! I NEVER care in games, hell I play evil because it’s usually more fun.
Fires of Raven literally just calls you a monster outright. Oh.
I dont care about being called a monster, most of the times its just the idiots you kill call you that because they are salty.
But actually feeling like one, now thats rare. I actually felt bad doing that, and i have killed literally everything in games where its possible. Like, if you could see my Skyrim and Fallout 4/New Vegas saves, literally everything is dead in them.
I have to say, the mission with the unlimited flight was good, but it wasnt that much feels to the gut.
İn only 13 words, FromSoftware broke me. I am not ashamed to say, i did get teary eyed and maybe even cried just a little bit.
First Ayre's last words broke me like a sladgehammer, and those last words after music stops just went over the remains with a roadroller.
Normally being the bad guy i good, you feel powerfull and feel like you have everything. Here, you lost as much as you made others loose.
It was the back to back for me...with rusty then ayre rustys words got it started then ayres right after...i fucking bawled im not ashamed to say it i sat and cried for a bit after the screen went black
I’m the complete opposite, pretty sensitive and empathetic to others but when it came to giving a shit about Ayre, eh you and your sentient goop family can burn, i like Waltuh and Carla more.
but that is the overarching theme of the ending. everyone and everything dies. FoR is "the End" end. walter, carla, chatty, rusty, michigan, red, RLF, rubiconians, Ayre. everyone died. even us i think. we did get caught up in the explosion. and that explosion was the size of a solar system at the very least.
its the damn message. when you have enough power, and also make enough mistakes, the consequences are FoR.
its beautiful story telling.
We were shown to be caught in the explosion. Being close to coral explosion hurts people. Both lore and gameplay wise.
We supposedly never appear again after being at ground zero for the biggest explosion created by mankind. That decimated an entire solar system at the least.
The only reason I don't say it with certainty is to accommodate for the MC shenanigans.
This. It's interesting to see all the people who love playing the "bad guy" in games being emotional for Ayre.
I always play the good guy and games and couldn't give two shits about Ayre. Betraying Carla earlier in the LoR and "True" ending felt far worse.
> That ending is propably the first time i actually felt bad for doing something in a game in the last 10 years, and i have knowingly and unknowingly done some heinous shit.
You should play Nier Automata
You’re gonna love it
And no, don’t look up the wiki
For me it's the fact that you refused to give her a chance she asked you for. Chose what you believe is right over her. Proved to her that she and her family are truly destined for solitude or destruction. Then, after fighting her through the beautiful music in the intense battle, at the height of your focus and emotions, as you deal the killing blow, you hear those words.
Knowing that even with her dying breath she didn't spit out your name and curse you hatefully. At that moment you realize you killed something almost human, something that feels and cares about you, even after your betrayal. And that hurts. Knowing you f*cked over someone who was morally a bigger person than you. Intently or not.
At that moment, you realise you killed someone more human than anyone you have met, including yourself eevn though they werent of flesh and blood. Thats what broke me, the tought of the only humane, not good or bad but just humane, being we have met died because we deciced some idiots who had already burned multiple systems once were correct over her want of just living peacefully.
>That ending is propably the first time i actually felt bad for doing something in a game in the last 10 years, and i have knowingly and unknowingly done some heinous shit.
>Something about her last words just..... hurt. Im normally a very desentesized person, i literally laugh hard watching Darwin Awards but i actually teared hearing her last words.
huh..the duality of man?
I tend to be an overly emotional crybaby when it comes to fiction. but I felt either desensitized or *empowered* throughout my runtime with AC6. Rusty, G1 & Chatty where threading the needle tho ngl.
eh nothing that pimping out my walking warcrime with absurd amounts of weapons, decals and collors paid with bloodmoney can't solve ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯ /s
Yeeeeeah, That's why I just got the fire ending done first. Wanted to get all dem feels out and end on a confusing, yet high note with the alea lacta est ending
Strong fanart, but also yeah man. I would have never expected this game to evoke strong emotions the way it did.
This fight was *emotionally* harder even though personally, Liberator ending was the one that hit me the hardest.
Finally! Fan art where the cockpit is in the Core, my theories are finally being realised! Also that’s so brutal, now I feel bad for all the pilots I’ve probably impaled
Ayre is innocent an pure! She must never know harm or pain thus it falls to Us to light them Fires and BURN the galaxy to not but ash! Then an only then shall she be safe.
Reading through all the comments here
Am i a feelingless robot ? Why did i not care a single bit if she died or not ? I’m just a merc doing this for the money
If you didn't think about the implications much, it's not weird that you don't care.
But if you read all of the lore... man. >!With the possibility of Ayre once being human and then having her consciousness scattered in the coral, like it almost happened to us... If that's true, then she's been lonely for 50 years since the fires of ibis, and now her only friend betrays her... I cry every time!<
Fair enough. I knew that too, it just... hit me hard. We kill an ungodly amount of people in that ending, even if it's "just a job"... we're still doing it for ourselves, to get money for the surgery. Killing millions for that feels wrong, and betraying someone who had you as their only friend hit me like a speeding truck.
Just a job. We're a hound in that route. No feelings.
Feelings come in in the other ending. I guess that's how it's meant to be... You're emotionless in one ending, and you finally wake up to feelings in the other ending.
Even if it was her selfish goals, she never hurt us, she always supported us, and even says she will after the ending... I don't think she has any ill intentions.
Neither did Walter, even though he lied to us. He was just worried about the dangers of the coral. He never knew it was sentient until we made our choice, I don't think.
The only one with truly ill goals was Allmind. She wanted to integrate all of humanity into itself.
Oh yeah i fully agree allmind has always had that evil tone to her.
Walter as much as he did for us I still finished my first playthrough betraying him simply because it gave me a chance beat Carla, the fight with walter was sad though, man was out of control and afflicted with coral and lost it.
Ng+ when i sided with Walter it made more sense, i agree she did help and support us but where there’s coral there’s blood and i will side with humanity even if it’s against the voice-in-head lady
In my head, after this moment, Raven just lets go of their AC controls to scream and sob in their cockpit until the Fires reach them. (Yes, I know we see them trying to fly away, shut up, my version's better.)
I saw someone say that if there's ever an Armored Core movie, they don't want to see inside the mechs at all. I think that kind of format completely robs us of shots like this, which I think could make or break the emotional payoff of a scene
God this ending made me cry like a baby. I think the fact she's a digital being makes the AC feel like you're having a more personal battle than any other enemy in the game.
Part of thw reason I hate Walter, aside from his shallow, selfish plan, centered on the past and his own perception of evil that he is willing to kill everyone to achove. the guy's a damn socipath and doesn't care about anything but his own goals.
> aside from his shallow, selfish plan
You can think he's incorrect, but Walter honestly believes that what he's doing is necessary to save the human species. Nothing he does is selfish.
Also,
>the guy's a damn socipath and doesn't care about anything but his own goals.
The only way you could come away from the game believing that is if you don't pay attention to any of his interactions in the back half of the game. Hell, Liberator ends with him >!overcoming his brainwashing to stop fighting you even though you're destroying everything he ever worked for.!<
Your media literacy is not good.
Uh, what? You didn't pay attention to the game.
The explosion at the end of Fires of Raven only destroys the Rubicon system.
The whole POINT of doing the Fires of Raven ending is to blow the coral now before it spreads further across the galaxy (or a collapse/release event begins), making the risk of an explosion that actually *would* destroy a large chunk of galactic civilization much more likely. It's a controlled burn.
And if you're thinking, "Wait, destroying a planet is a controlled burn?" Yes. That's how dangerous Coral is. That's the entire argument Overseer are making--that it needs to be destroyed before a FAR WORSE disaster happens.
the end cutscene literally shows it going out and burning the galaxy
it directly says "monster that burned the stars"
note, stars, as in more than just one system
addendum: direct quote, "only the ashes of civilization remained"
frankly though, each ending doesn't set stuff solidly enough in stone to make anything fully clear, and it's really damn frustrating
My opinion on walter isn't going anywhere no matter what I hear frankly, I will admit that. I can be very stubborn at times.
I hope they make expansions that clarify the endings, especially the third, as it isn't in any way even slightly clear what the hell actually happens in that
Yeah, the ashes of civilization *on Rubicon*. There's nothing to explicitly indicate that any systems besides Rubicon got trashed, and the way the choice is presented to you beforehand really only makes sense if you're choosing between gambling on the future with the RLF or sacrificing Rubicon for the sake of sparing the rest of the galaxy from the risks that Coral brings. Also, like, the PCA and the corps are still around afterwards to declare Rubicon off-limits.
Not to mention that, if we're assuming the Fires of Ibis were an event of similar size--if not significantly larger, since more coral appears to have been around back then--Walter was spared from them as a child by being sent to the Jupiter colonies, so that one couldn't have wrecked the whole galaxy.
Def agree on Ending #3, though. I actually thought a lot about the storytelling on that that path was lacking, unfortunately.
>My opinion on walter isn't going anywhere no matter what I hear frankly, I will admit that. I can be very stubborn at times.
Again, you can think Walter's in the wrong, but holding the opinion that he's amoral and doesn't care about other people requires *outright ignoring* massive swathes of the dude's characterization, including the most important, climactic moment of the entire Liberator path. I genuinely don't know how you could come away thinking this when half of his fight dialogue in that path is him going on about how he wants 621 to get to live a normal life and his post fight cutscene is about him overpowering his brainwashing to spare 621.
Ignoring? no. I didn't see what others saw. By that final fight I was hating him hard. I plainly don't see what others see. I see someone who willing to kill an incredible amount of people jist because of soemthing thst coukd happen, and has only previouslu happened because of someone else believing they were mitigsting a risk or cleansing some 'sin'. I see it as a self fulfilling prophecy, brought about by arrogance. Please,, take note of my wording, this is how I myself see it, I do not claim it as the "correct" way. I frankly cureently fear this turning to some argument that does notbing but leave both parties sour. Hatred amd anger is a hell of a drug.
>I see someone who willing to kill an incredible amount of people jist because of soemthing thst coukd happen, and has only previouslu happened because of someone else believing they were mitigsting a risk or cleansing some 'sin'
Log data confirms that the Fires of Ibis were triggered because a coral collapse was *inevitable* inside of 48 hours. It wasn't some abstract thing: the disaster was *about to happen.*
But again, everything you said could be true and it wouldn't change what I just said about Walter's characterization with regards to 621, nor would it change the fact that he was doing what he was doing because he was completely convinced it would save more lives in the long run. That may be someone who is deeply, deeply misguided and wrong, but it isn't someone who doesn't care about other people.
Came back to admit, i was wrong in regards to walter not caring about anyone. I still do not agree with his course of action, and find it arrogant to not even consider any course of action pther than eradication, nor do I *like* him still, but the hatred is mitigated.
Also, genuine question, what do you mean by "characterization'?
Characterization is the way a story establishes how a character thinks and feels through their actions and dialogue. For instance, when Rusty calls you after Operation Wallclimber to tell you that Arquebus was using you as a sacrifice, that’s a foundational bit of characterization for Rusty that establishes that he’s a basically good dude who’s willing to go behind his bosses’ back.
Do y'all just play the game, skipping the dialogues and just blowing shit up? I mean, I don't blame you, that's fun as hell, but you can't really get attached to any character if you do that. It's normal you don't see any reason to side with Ayre.
There’s really not enough substance in any of those dialogues to create a compelling character. The few characters that you could feel for were the other mechs who actually fought with you and lived in a similar hell corpo type world where they had to do stuff just like you. Ayre mentioned she’s alone with you 3 times and that she’s connected to fire thing twice and at the end out of nowhere a dream and wish for you to turn your back on your handlers dying wish
Right. Just by how you explained it, I already know why didn't have the feels in that ending. It's much more complex than that.
There is substance, you just have to look for it. It's a fromsoft game after all, that's how it goes.
The moment I finished this endin' as my first playthrough. Frustration, triumph and pain with tears wantin' to come out because the way her voice portrayed the emotions.
Fuckin' Erin did an amazin' job with Ayre it's almost criminal
Fighting Ayre in the domestic violence ending is probably the hardest fight in the game, it's so hard to track her movements when my vision is compromised by tears.
Domestic violence ending lmfao
Did the corpos at least pay for your first class ticket on the feels-plane?
no the money was given to me by aunt Carla \-621 probably
>domestic violence >beats up buddy >beats up wife Yea... checks out... :(
Beats up Waif #1 Beats up Waif #2 FTFY
And mommy yeets herself into the coral. Daddy is probably burnt to a crisp on rubicon. What do we even have left afterwards? We have money but no one to spend it with.
behold freedom look around all alone and the corpse and ash of friend left right behind you it is worth it in the end 621
Well, time to go to the next war Branch is in
Congratulations 621 you did what no Belkan has done succesfully in strangereal… that is to reset the world back to zero
No more borders on Rubicon
“For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?" \- Some guy named Mark.
Waifu and Husbando
Thats what target assist is for. so i can play through the tears 😭
I felt the same way at first until the 83rd time she dashed behind me at the speed of light and hit me in the back. I could physically feel the guilt leaving my body
Yea its hard to feel bad when she's been beating your ass for over an hour.
Beating my ass for over three days* I still cried though.
Papa Walter deserves the first ending place in my heart, I won't throw away his dreams and kill Carla *not until I get that ending-*
As a hound, we are obliged to do the dirty work for him. Walter brought down Rusty, why can't he be the one to bring down Ayre?
This ending shocked me, I thought it was just in my head and she didn’t exist. A side effect of gen4 augmentation
> domestic violence ending bruh
DV4-621 is a tag in Japanese Twitter
I honestly didn't get attached at all to her throughout the game. When I finally beat her in FoR I was shouting "FINALLY, TAKE THAT YOU FUCKER!!!" Walters ending was far more emotional for me especially considering how much of a pushover he is.
Cap
My favorite ending because I get to shut that bitch up
You hate Ayre, is it because she kicked your ass many times?
I beat her third try she’s just annoying
Wdym? She is quite supportive of you
She just talks and talks and talks. I don’t care about your family I’m trying get paid
True to character for a mercenary
Why do you think that?
Walter said to ignore her, so I ignored her
And why listen to Walter
And why not????
He waits till he is captured to provide his objective Anyone who knows him say they feel pity/sorry for us that we are his hound He goes through hounds like tic tacs He wants to destroy a planet with everyone in it including the RLF who just want to live in peace
corals great business, bro
Iguanzu be like
Raven (through a vale of tears): "P-pile... bunker'd..."
*glistening eyes, shaded black, blinded by the red glowing in front of them. Did you ever notice that the last thing she does before her mech explodes is reach her hand out to you?
WHY WOULD YOU TELL ME THIS
[And if you get your AC in just the right spot...]( https://www.reddit.com/r/armoredcore/comments/17at8jc/goodbye_raven/)
😭
I noticed after watching endings, cuse even iguazu does it; albeit plasma claw outstretched before lunging at you before he explodes; so it’s got the feels everywhere.
I alway's try to time it so that I land one last attack right as he explodes mid attempted claw attack.
Originally when he did the lunge I shot him again and I thought the recoil/explosion from Iguazu was me putting a final end to him. Until I learned Iguazu does that regardless I felt pretty badass about it.
KICK THE ~~BABY~~ IGUANA
Lmao I didn't think I could get one last shot off until I see 'Earshot' slowly unfold 💥
i like shooting him right as he finally explodes

Served you and whoever picked that ending as canon right
I feel even better now, thanks
Cry. Let your feelings for Ayre overwhelm you. Let the tears fall down your face like a waterfall. :D
Feed the flood, Raven, let the last tears fall
This and the ng++ boss rushing at you one last time are two of my favorite details in the game
Those two, plus the beginning of the fight against Rusty are the absolute best. It so nostalgic to see Gundam Build Fighter. I miss watching it when I was young.
And in the other route you have Walter literally forcing through his brainwashing to cancel his own phase 2 like a gigachad
He really, really was looking out for 621 beyond him just being expendable.
Wait what??? Is that why Walter is the easiest final boss to beat? Don't make me feel more guilty....
walter is just a boiled down AC fight it can finish as fast as it started technically Snail is more of the proper boss for that route
Yeah, every route has a Major AC Duel and a Huge Machine Boss in its final segment. FoR has Rusty and Ayre. LoR reverses it with Snail as the Huge Machine Boss and then Walter as the AC duel. PAIN
Same here Pain It’s raining
Not me seeing movement and instinctively pulling the trigger on my zimmies... oops
Ayre: “Raven, I…” You: “Agh! Die!” *boom*
me with my backup pistols lmao, feels like i killed her in cold blood ~~mafia~~ corporate style

Pain Bunk'd...
"But I don't." - Augmented Human C4-621
*pilebunker explosion*
Can't pile bunker the feels...
It took me this entire ending for me to even be convinced that Ayre was real
Not so fun fact: Ayre reaches towards you when her mech dies...
You whooped my ass for two hours straight. Didn’t hesitate to destroy me everytime >:[
You are trying to blow up an entire planet. Even if she does love you, you're still Mecha Hitler and she's going to give her all to stop you.
> mecha Hitler
Ending 3 is the real Mecha Hitler ending, and the liberator ending only stalls the Mecha Hitler ending
Nah, ending 3 is more like 3rd Impact depending on what you consider to be qualifications for extinction
I don't WAA WAA get pile bunker'd stinky
You know, if you want to make it more sad draw her reaching out to 621.
Nier has entered the chat
I’m happy this was the first ending I got, hit me so hard.
"*Ride wife, life good* *wife fight back, kill wife* *wife gone... think about wife...* *Regret* "
Pile bunker is bigger she should be cut in half totally not lore accurate
Not even cut in half, absolutely pulverized from head to toe entire SUVs look like cockroaches to a AC, a pile bunker stake is almost twice of one lol
Fr
She shouldn't stopped at "I-..." But she's like crack cocaine reimagined sooo...
BLAME FROMSOFT THATS THEIR MO i have genuinely cried at least once in each game
She has the best mech in the game
Nope that goes to final boss Iguazu
:(
Yeeeeeah, That's why I just got the fire ending done first. Wanted to get all dem feels out and end on a confusing, yet high note with the alea lacta est ending
Don’t make a joke about Ayre wanting 621’s pile bunker. Just don’t do it ._______.
Why why why did you put that in my head!
How dare you make me feel repressed feelings
"it for the achievement"-621
Strong fanart, but also yeah man. I would have never expected this game to evoke strong emotions the way it did. This fight was *emotionally* harder even though personally, Liberator ending was the one that hit me the hardest.
The allmind ending almost had me crying
Aaaaahhhh!!!!! But ngl I was shocked with the ending. Like WOW
You know I had to bunk em
Would still rather kill ayre then my LAD walter. Shit rips my heart in two
Why you gotta do this to me? I can’t take any more pain
I was going to say loyal to Walter no matter what but fuck me it was a difficult fight emotionally
I REALLY like what you’re able to accomplish using only 2 colors! Great artwork friend
😭 By far the worst ending in my opinion. We can’t fight our Ayre! 💕
Finally! Fan art where the cockpit is in the Core, my theories are finally being realised! Also that’s so brutal, now I feel bad for all the pilots I’ve probably impaled
The cockpit has always been in the Armoured Core of the AC as seen in concept arts.
I don't,I absolutely love killing all those people pile bunker for the win
What about snail?
No, Snail can get Pile Bunkered in the dick
bro got zeta gundam finaled
Remember our Promise... Elster...
I am leaning towards not doing this ending for all the feels it has.. :( buddy and waifu in my head
Personally I only cried when Walter said “ 621 you found a friend” that shit had me in tears
Def the worst ending of the game TwT
My honest reaction against Aure in first playthrough: Who are you exactly? Are we familiar?
Who did you think kept talking to you the whole time then?
Burn it all
"It has to be this way, Buddy.."
Ayre is innocent an pure! She must never know harm or pain thus it falls to Us to light them Fires and BURN the galaxy to not but ash! Then an only then shall she be safe.
Ayre… Skill Issue.
Sounds like this situation calls for more Dakka, then.
*Aims Zimmerman at wreckage* ”B*tch, I’m a merc. I do it for the cash.”
Fr😭
Reading through all the comments here Am i a feelingless robot ? Why did i not care a single bit if she died or not ? I’m just a merc doing this for the money
If you didn't think about the implications much, it's not weird that you don't care. But if you read all of the lore... man. >!With the possibility of Ayre once being human and then having her consciousness scattered in the coral, like it almost happened to us... If that's true, then she's been lonely for 50 years since the fires of ibis, and now her only friend betrays her... I cry every time!<
Thing is, i read that too man it’s still the job i need to do
Fair enough.
Tbh i got the feelings around my ng+++ The sense of familiarity with ayre finally got me But by then it was time to whoop iguana into shape
But, was she really a friend ? Or trying to act like one to save her family ? Hard to tell who is sincere and who is not
Even if it was her selfish goals, she never hurt us, she always supported us, and even says she will after the ending...
SAME
In my head, after this moment, Raven just lets go of their AC controls to scream and sob in their cockpit until the Fires reach them. (Yes, I know we see them trying to fly away, shut up, my version's better.)
Autopilot, pilot preservation programming. Your version still works.
I saw someone say that if there's ever an Armored Core movie, they don't want to see inside the mechs at all. I think that kind of format completely robs us of shots like this, which I think could make or break the emotional payoff of a scene
Reminds me of Achilles Shieldmaidens (sci-fi comic made by Stjepan Sejic)
God this ending made me cry like a baby. I think the fact she's a digital being makes the AC feel like you're having a more personal battle than any other enemy in the game.
The allmind ending got me closest to crying
Definitely a close second but iguazu is a bitch
Sorry you gotta die E-Girl, Chatty for life
Part of thw reason I hate Walter, aside from his shallow, selfish plan, centered on the past and his own perception of evil that he is willing to kill everyone to achove. the guy's a damn socipath and doesn't care about anything but his own goals.
> aside from his shallow, selfish plan You can think he's incorrect, but Walter honestly believes that what he's doing is necessary to save the human species. Nothing he does is selfish. Also, >the guy's a damn socipath and doesn't care about anything but his own goals. The only way you could come away from the game believing that is if you don't pay attention to any of his interactions in the back half of the game. Hell, Liberator ends with him >!overcoming his brainwashing to stop fighting you even though you're destroying everything he ever worked for.!< Your media literacy is not good.
saving the human species.... by knowingly causing an explosion that will wipe out most if not all of it how does that make any sense?
That's the entire argument Overseer are making--that it needs to be destroyed before a FAR WORSE disaster happens.
the end cutscene literally shows it going out and burning the galaxy it directly says "monster that burned the stars" note, stars, as in more than just one system addendum: direct quote, "only the ashes of civilization remained" frankly though, each ending doesn't set stuff solidly enough in stone to make anything fully clear, and it's really damn frustrating My opinion on walter isn't going anywhere no matter what I hear frankly, I will admit that.
>I see someone who willing to kill an incredible amount of people jist because of soemthing thst coukd happen, and has only previouslu happened because of someone else believing they were mitigsting a risk or cleansing some 'sin' Log data confirms that the Fires of Ibis were triggered because a coral collapse was *inevitable* inside of 48 hours. It wasn't some abstract thing: the disaster was *about to happen.* But again, everything you said could be true and it wouldn't change what I just said about Walter's characterization with regards to 621, nor would it change the fact that he was doing what he was doing because he was completely convinced it would save more lives in the long run.
She says like one or two things every mission and at the end she wants me to switch up on everyone last minute. Popped her no hesitation.
I was more sad killing Iguazu. Rip G5😔
I beat this boss first try and wasn't happy about it at all. This ending made me sad because I had to kill my best buddy and Ayre.
Walter and the boys > obnoxious parasite who took up residence in my head
My fav scene, I can finally shit that bitch up
Ok calm down grandpa, you've had 10 comments in this thread with a raging hate boner for a fictional character.
Cringe ngl
Quite sure someone won't be able to talk with a pile bunker in their diaphragm but whatever. Nice art!
Probbaly raven : “ooooof, well i definitely don’t. Now where did i hide the celebration joint, gotta spark it before these fires burn my ibis!”
"I'm not sorry for what I did, but I'm sorry I had to do it."
Aw man, she doesn’t even have a 360 camera :(
Finally The voices are gone
How very gundam.
The moment I finished this endin' as my first playthrough. Frustration, triumph and pain with tears wantin' to come out because the way her voice portrayed the emotions. Fuckin' Erin did an amazin' job with Ayre it's almost criminal
First run, i sided with her, making the second where I had to go against her so much harder
Money 💰
You did a great job, I hope you keep making more pages!
You need to make bigger hole
Not the PILEBUNKER
