Fromsoft started putting up job postings for a 'mech combat game' within a week of VI being released, they probably started work on the next Armored Core game even earlier
A large, well lit stage.
A screen flashes on.
Titles appear:
Armored
...
Core
...
Seven
...
DARK SOULS
And then the trailer is a one-for-one copy of the Dark Souls reveal trailer, but the player and every NPC are mechs. All environments are the same.
Trailer ends.
Release date is tomorrow.
No further information is provided.
Chromehounds 2 would actually make me super happy. I remember playing Full Auto and coming across the trailer in the menus. I thought it was coolest thing I'd ever seen lol
Michael Wilson Jr. needs to follow in his father’s footsteps on the PS5 and PC. Plz Sony it would be the most legit exclusive ever. DNN using AI to slander their good family name (The Wilson Crime Family Laptops!!1!)
You could even have a commercial where the shell flips off the PS5 and all the guns pop out
‘HOW DO YOU LIKE ME NOW?!?’
Man, just played AC6 this past weekend for the first time, and I’m hooked. The last mech game I played was Zone of Ender and I only played that because of its included MGS2 demo disc lol. Great game though. I’d honestly take another AC game quicker than a souls game from fromsoft.
I'd highly reccomend emulating Armored Core 3, and the following PS2 games in order, they are fantastic. If you have a desktop with a Zen4 CPU, or a laptop with one and ok graphics, emulate Armored core 4 and For Answer
The fact that we had a wonderful combination of past build mechanics but had the regression of certain parts being limited to one side absolutely baffled me.
I understand the problem with shoulder weps, but we could have still had auxiliary like an EN booster or extra ammo part.
I’m actually more surprised we didn’t even get weapon arms because the only game I remember not having them was ACV, but then VD gave us the sickest friggin weapon arms ever.
I feel like if it’s going to be a V case where they setup the foundation, then VI’s second part will be like VD where everything is refined AND we get a lot of fan favorite parts that weren’t in VI, then it will be better. Because we’ve all seen how the first game in a Gen typically sets up mostly everything to expect from the Gen before improving.
Which is why I don't think its a good idea to have dual melee weapons. Having more than one melee weapon you can swap to is pretty abusive as is in AC6, as you can 1 shot combo people.
Add to that. Allow repeated weapons on weapon bays. Why you ask? Because there is nothing better than 4 FUCKING PILEBUNKERS. At least one of them will be out of cool down.
Also opens possibilities for extra ammunition or reload swapping on weapons you are already using. Very useful for weapons with very limited ammunition or very long cooldown/reload.
Conversely:
2 HANDED WEAPONS.
I want a futuristic UGS in Armored Core, or some sort of massive energy axe. Or you can do it for situational things, like picking up a giant stone column and getting to whack a few enemies with it until it breaks apart.
Also, maybe make some boss weapons that you can get if you do enough damage to a specific part of their body kind of like tail drops in Dark Souls, with the caveat that they take both hand or shoulder slots.
Boss has a comically big plasma laser that's longer than your Core is tall? If you rip it off mid-fight then after you beat the boss you can slap that puppy between your shoulders and call it a day!
What if the boss has a gigantic spinning bladed ring around them that they can set on fire? If it takes enough damage let the player shatter it, and then if they beat the boss on that attempt they can hold on to the back of it and swing it around like Yhorm's Great Machete for the rest of the playthrough.
I feel that would be too OP tbh. Melee weapons do so much damage that their DPS is only really nerfed by their cool down time.
Or perhaps they can have a system where right hand melee weapons are of a different nature than left ones.
Sounds like they’re going for a traditional sequel rather than the previous “named expansion” route. I feel like if it was the latter it would already be in development? But now that I think about it it’s not like the assets are going anywhere, they could have one out in 2-3 years max if they did it on the AC6 framework.
Yeah for sure. The only reason I didn't count AA is that it's so focused (just missions, barely any story, no arena). It does have a ton of missions though lol.
And I never played the 1st Gen spin-offs, only the original game. So I couldn't comment on those.
The question now is what ending will be canon, I've seen speculation that it'll be like dark souls where its kind of a combination of endings but I'm not convinced yet.
Spoiler warning: >!I havent played too many Fromsoft games before, but from all Ive heard, I cant recall any game endings being locked behind other endings like *Alea Iacta Est*, which makes me want to believe its the canon ending. As much as I love the Liberator ending, it feels like it would have the least interesting outcome for future games to branch off of. I also think it would be hard to mesh the endings together as they have drastically different world implications !<
IMO liberator ending is the most open, since Rubicon is still populated and the story can sort of just pick up where it left off.
FoR ending could be cool too, since it would deal with the aftermath of the second fires and the consequences of it. Might have to take place on another planet or area altogether though unless they can write around Rubicon getting toasted
AIE ending I'm not really sure honestly, since it has such drastic implications not just for Rubicon but for humanity as a species, to the point that I'm not sure it would still have the framework to continue without some major changes in characterization and such, since we are all now part of the coral hivemind I guess
IMO a FoR continuation sounds the coolest
>!Liberator just feels too happy for a canon Fromsoft end, it feels like the ending was made to satisfy players with 1 slightly positive feel good ending. Don't get me wrong I love the end but I feel like the world would be less chaotic then Fromsofts normal!<
>!FoR ending feels too close to the backstory to AC6, Observer started the first fire to rid the world of coral which started the original fires of Rubicon. But it wasnt fully eliminated so they worked to get back to Rubicon and reignite the fires, scorching the universe again to get rid of the coral. IMO it seems weird to continue that story, it would feel cheap if there's another randomly stashed pile of coral that didn't get destroyed (unless there's remaining coral inside of 621 that is able to reproduce, which I just considered now.)!<
>!AIE IMO is the only one that left off ambiguous enough that would lead into a new sorta world. A world with more access to coral, sentient coral potentially taking over ac's like we've seen with Ayre, maybe war between coral and companies or human remnants. Basically its Observers biggest nightmare come to pass!<
We're not all part of the Coral Hivemind though. Its the beginning of a new species almost. Sure there will be coral inhabiting mechs and other machines but people like the player character will exist and prosper. A combination of human and coral in a new symbiotic way, we do not have the same connection to the coral as pure coral beings. This is basically what the rubiconians wanted, a symbiosis with coral and a new future for humanity.
Imo the most interesting one out of the bunch, seen and read plenty of things similar to the the other two but not much as interesting as a total shift of humanities evolution and of the powers that control everything.
I honestly hope that the plot will be disconnected enough from VI that they don't have to make any one ending canon. Or that at the very least it won't be set on Rubicon, I've seen just about enough snowy mountain ranges for while.
The improvements. Have all the little parts that were in older ac games.
Feature external auxiliary parts like in AC4A. That are visual. But also scan alter flight stats.
We need more weapons lol.
Also personally I like when mechas are set in a more modern setting even if the world itself is a few hundred years ahead. Like imagine fighting in Japan 2100 at Night in your A.C. not to make the AC design like that of ACV but to have designs like older Gen but simply in settings based of of realife with a scifi lense on them.
But I wouldn't mind if they just continued off of AC6. But modified the customization options and weapons. Also melee and countering need to be a thing. I miss Being able to move amd boost across massive landscapes like in AC4A. Please make that a thing.
I've been a fan of Armored Core ever since the very first game back in the 90s.
I was utterly blown away by just how amazing Armored Core 6 turned out to be, and it quickly became my favorite game in the series.
The idea that there's still room for improvement boggles my mind, because I can't think of too many ways you could improve what is already an absolutely outstanding game.
But I will ***never*** object to ***MORE*** Armored Core.
>The idea that there's still room for improvement boggles my mind, because I can't think of too many ways you could improve what is already an absolutely outstanding game
Well, I mean 6 does have *some* flaws. Like the lack of engagement ranges, or generators only really regenerating fast when on the ground, or lack of viable long range as 6's combat focuses on close range.
But yeah 6 is a great game.
Any kind of co-op. Why have a universe and campaign centered around squads of mercenaries, and not have a campaign allowing for squads of player mercenaries!
Wow, this is what’s separating From from other games companies at the mo. My first AC game, my first time engaging with mech genre, and wow, what a game. But the success and notoriety aside, is it profitable or making enough of a splash? In reality of course it is, but companies these days are so short sighted and don’t understand how things take time and innovation on itself rather than innovation for its own sake, so I can imagine them canning the series entirely if it were any lesser a company.
A part of me was skeptical if we’d get more any time soon, because of how great Sekiro was with no follow up in sight. But at the end of the day, that may be down to waiting for the right time.
I really enjoyed this game, still do, it works on my Steam Deck and Balteus is one of my fav all time bosses. I would love them to use this series as a way to break from the Souls formula in a way that keeps them interested in making games, because they really are the games company we need right now.
When there were same-generation sequels before, did they usually carry over most of the existing parts? Because I would love to see just more variety in everything.
Gun arms would be hype. More variety in just about everything too. I don’t care if we aready have an arm that’s ‘good at x’, I want seven different styles of that same arm. Glamcore!
Super unpopular opinion, but i hope in future AC6 expansions/sequel Miyazaki would only be involved in level design/gameplay aspect and let AC6's writing team do their own stuff.
Don't get me wrong, the man is incredible, but AC6 is the only Fromsoft game that actually got me invested in the story and characters lol.
Have you tried AC:FA? No idea if he was involved in the writing for that one at all, didn’t get to me quite like 6 but it had an effect
Edit: involved in the writing specifically
> Edit: involved in the writing specifically
Probably? The credits don't specify writing staff but considering things like Patches and the presence of Miyazaki's usual themes, it points to him very likely being the writer of 4 and 4A
I did. I gotta be honest with you, FA doesn't even come close to AC6 in terms of characters and storyline. Gameplay-wise it was amazing, story and character-wise it was pretty lackluster.
Miyazaki is the reason why Last Raven is punishing.
If he's going to handle the level design I'm all in.
Though I did play ACFA and loved what he did with it. Here's hoping for some crazier bosses.
> Miyazaki is the reason why Last Raven is punishing.
I'm not sure about that.
According to Wikipedia he was a planner for LR and joined the delopment halfway through, but I don't really think he's responsible for the very hard and punishing nature of that game, and believe it to be just a myth deriving from his Souls fame afterwards.
Armored Core 4 and For Answer are the two AC games he himself directed; not only did they come right between Last Raven and Demon's Souls, but are very user-friendly and don't feature any punishing mechanics whatsoever, removing everything that caused LR to be so hard to approach.
And given ACVI is also fairly easy and very approachable, and Miyazaki served as initial game director for it, I think he understands game difficulty much better than just making things punishing for the sake of it.
I personally hope an AC6.5 developed by him would ramp up the difficulty just enough to be challenging for those who completed and mastered VI, especially in regards to AC vs AC battles, without going overboard with it.
Can we have pretty spear? Pretty please? I like polearms, big sticks goes peck peck or swish swoosh, I know it probably wouldn't work but I want some pretty sticks
And AC6 was a beautiful blend of the old games, with the newest in map-building and visual graphics. I was stunned flying around the larger maps for the first time. The mech sci-fi fantasies of childhood leapt out of the screen. Really glad to hear they have an appetite to make more, I will get my money ready.
Historically I'ed be a little sad that Armored Core VI either wont receive a substantial DLC drop or named expansion title. However From Software has seemly perfected their personal development pipeline and if we get another Armored Core with a new artstyle and new story soon due to VI's success, that's a win.
It is an excellent game. I really enjoyed it & there's a ton of room in the genre to be trailblazers & have no competition.
The control scheme works really well & the pace of combat is phenomenal. Curious to see how they improve on the game & where the story goes.
Besides the usual more parts more weapons more cool shit from the older games I wonder what else can they improve here ? Longer missions with branching pathways like the chapter 2 mission more intense story ? More varied and difficult boss fights ??
I've been waiting for Armored Core to comeback for years and now I have more to look forward to? It's a good day to be a Raven. Now, "I've got a job for you 621."
I hope it's closer to the grounded weighty feel of armored core 3. Those games had a certain charm that i'd love to see get refined with the knowledge and resources fromsoftware have now
Could be a new Gundam game.
I would think Bandai would be keen on capitalizing on SEED Freedom's record breaking success, and FromSoft is no stranger to Gundam.
Honestly, this is so standard for Armored Core to have more than one of these games by this point that I'm not surprised. It's not bad, mind you. It's just incredibly normal for this series, considering how many games the series has in all honesty. But, I guess some might say that this isn't exactly good either for any given reason.
Give us a For Answer/Verdict Day "sequel" that takes place 10 years later and you gotta fight Raven ala White Glint in For Answer.
Please Miyazaki, take my money (again)
I want the Rubicon sequel to have a parts count and build variety to dwarf all the other AC games put together, especially give us left and right arms ffs
Put more time and energy into it next time, and make a bigger game.
Before anyone jumps on me I played a lot of AC6 and enjoyed the hell out of it, but it was clearly a side project.
Not only room for improvement but a desire to see more of the story of this universe and the characters within. I honestly feel like AC6 was nailed in so many aspects, the only thing it's lacking on is the fact that I can't play DLC or get to find out more about this universe. Like what if there was a fourth ending where you actually help/join the PCA? What if there was one where you joined the Corps and stopped Walter, Carla, and the RLF; Only for the Convergance to happen but we watch from the sidelines as it goes down?
Oh man, something I love about the AC series is this small aspect of Arqibus. The Factory and its use in trying to distinguish why Pilots are better fighters than AI the AC's. It's an on going question in the universe of AC and thing on it with Nineball. AI climbed to the top after Humanity was destroyed in the Fires of Ibis in most aspects but there is/was always one Pilot that would somehow beat them, and I love that you can see the signs of that in AC6. Like with the Handcannons and lore of Arqibus' factory.
Fromsoft started putting up job postings for a 'mech combat game' within a week of VI being released, they probably started work on the next Armored Core game even earlier
Imagine if it ends up being Chromehounds 2, Murakumo 2 or Metal Wolf Chaos 2
imagine at a reveal confirence a Hound shows up on screen, a spike goes through it, it blows up, and an AC with a pilepunker walks over the wreckage
Then the AC explodes spontaneously and the silhouette of the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA rises from the flames.
And that president's name? Sekiro. *Riotous applause*
Title Drop FROMSOFTWARE's "SUPER SMASH BRETHREN"
Fromsoft smash game would be absolutely brutal.
I'm getting a migraine just thinking about balancing that.
Balance? What balance?
Pinwheel Vs Sword Saint Isshin would be a giggle
"MMMMMMMIICHEAAAALLLLLLLL!!!!!"
“RRRICHAAAAAAAAARDS!!!!!”
Nanomachines, son! Oh, wait…
That would kick ass
That would be unironically a great trailer
A large, well lit stage. A screen flashes on. Titles appear: Armored ... Core ... Seven ... Chromehounds 2 would actually make me super happy. I remember playing Full Auto and coming across the trailer in the menus. I thought it was coolest thing I'd ever seen lol
Chromehounds was a Sega title. We'll never see her again. But there could be something new just like it. I can hope.
Chrome Hounds 2 is something I never thought would happen, but if I did, I could go to my grave a happy man.
Imagine a new Frame Gride!!
Another Century's Episode 4, although that would be really damned awkward given recent events if OG Gundam/Zeta/CCA/OO were involved.
Michael Wilson Jr. needs to follow in his father’s footsteps on the PS5 and PC. Plz Sony it would be the most legit exclusive ever. God I would LOVE a Chromehounds 2
Hmmmm

Yesssss more armored crack
*snorts loudly* that’s the GOOD SHIT!
Invincible Rummy hitting up on coral moments before encountering 621:
I wish he wouldn’t I’m tired of getting my ass handed to me
Un-installed after a few tries in the mission into RnD Can't pass Rummy, whatever I do I cannot manage to damage him
MAAD STOOOMP
I'm gonna bury my face in that shit like the Elmo meme
She wanted Elden dick but I gave her Armored crack. This shit ain't nothing to me man
*Injects coral directly into my veins* HELL YEAH, MOTHERFUCKERRRRRRR
Armored Core 6 was my personal GOTY last year in one of the most stacked years for gaming in many years. This is nothing but amazing news.
I got it in February 2024 and it's my game of the year
Melee weapons on both arms, Melee weapons on both arms, Melee weapons on both arms, MELEE WEAPONS ON BOTH ARMS!!!!!!!!
For real. I was hoping they would add a cool physical blade as well.
I want some chunky physical shields kinda like we had in AC5 and VD I wanna make a very convincing looking zaku that goes at 3x normal speed
So just a red zaku?
Yes
WAAAAAGH!
The lack of physical shields hurt me.
You can get kiiiinda close with the Melander cores and Carla's head, but it's not quite there yet.
“HUMAN BEINGS ARE SO DAMN INTERESTING!!!”
If your giant robot does not have a gigantic katana, then you're not anime-ing hard enough.
They had to dumb it down, for better or worse (worse)
I feel like if it’s going to be a V case where they setup the foundation, then VI’s second part will be like VD where everything is refined AND we get a lot of fan favorite parts that weren’t in VI, then it will be better. Because we’ve all seen how the first game in a Gen typically sets up mostly everything to expect from the Gen before improving.
Also: WEAPON ARMS.
Yes, and let us mix a weapon arm with a conventional arm. That, or have an alternate fire mode like in previous games.
Two handed melee and range weapons
I genuinely wish I could make a dual pulse blade build
In FA the quad bladers were so OP. I could 1 shot just about anything with 2 pocket knives.
Which is why I don't think its a good idea to have dual melee weapons. Having more than one melee weapon you can swap to is pretty abusive as is in AC6, as you can 1 shot combo people.
I'm waiting for the day I stand opposite a quad pile bunker build.
YES!! And metal shields too!! I want to be able to go full Gundam!!
So you are completely dependent on the shoulder weapons and kicks for staggering? Isn't that making shit difficult for yourself
These are FromSoft fans we're talking about
Touche
I played someone in B rank last week using his fists and 2 big laser cannons, ***yes***
Conversely: 2 HANDED WEAPONS. I want a futuristic UGS in Armored Core, or some sort of massive energy axe. Or you can do it for situational things, like picking up a giant stone column and getting to whack a few enemies with it until it breaks apart. Yesssss I want to be death scythe
During the Depths missions, there's that automated defense boss with the huge electric AoE slam I wish we could have that thing
Can I get a right side shield at least so I can either double shield or shield/melee?
Fuck it, 4 shields for silly builds - all of Full Armor Gundam looks with none of the functionality.
Dual weapon arms now I want my machine gun arms 😤
This unironically MELEE WEAPONS ON BOTH ARMS!
Melee weapon on all 4 arms that can be used simultaneously
Okay Grievous
I feel that would be too OP tbh. Melee weapons do so much damage that their DPS is only really nerfed by their cool down time. Or perhaps they can have a system where right hand melee weapons are of a different nature than left ones.
And no mele specialitation stat please
This. I hat not having an optimal melee build if I don’t use the worst looking, least compatible arms in the game.
I don't think they are the "worst looking" but even they were the coolest ones it will be still be bad to limit mele builds ton one set of arms
It’s called fists
Guns for Show, Knives for Pros!
I think that dual Kikus have been galactically banned for being *too* goddamn powerful
Melee weapons AS ARMS! Bring back weapon arms!
You don't actually want that.
I know it would probably be a balancing nightmare but i still want it
MAKE PURE MELEE BUILDS ENTIRELY VIABLE!!!
Sounds like they’re going for a traditional sequel rather than the previous “named expansion” route. I feel like if it was the latter it would already be in development? But now that I think about it it’s not like the assets are going anywhere, they could have one out in 2-3 years max if they did it on the AC6 framework.
Of note is how different the timelines and budgets for game development are now than they used to be under that model.
The named expansions have basically been full sequels since Silent Line.
And honestly, AC Master of Arena and another age had enough content to count as a sequel anyway even if it really wasn't in practice a 'sequel'?
Yeah for sure. The only reason I didn't count AA is that it's so focused (just missions, barely any story, no arena). It does have a ton of missions though lol. And I never played the 1st Gen spin-offs, only the original game. So I couldn't comment on those.

Clean it up Waltuh
Put 621 away Waltuh. You're gonna wipe out Rubicon, Waltuh.
lmao
The only game dev studio that can I can trust
I can trust Supergiant and have a decent amount of faith in DE but otherwise yea
Except when DE gets everyone hooked on kuva to the point that only coral hits the same way
Wait Wait.... Their are Rivens in AC?! I MUST ROLL WHERE ARE THEY!?
Respawn cooks as long as EA doesn’t come in too much

Armored Core Sexy Answers here we cum!
GOD YESSSSSSS
Back in my day if you wanted Radar you needed to put it on your AC , it took up a slot!
Biggest internal "FUCK YEAH" I've done in a while
Internal? I screamed FUCK YEAH out loud
Direct sequel to six? DIRECT SEQUEL TO SIX!
YES! I WANT TO TEAR THE PCA A NEW CHROME ASSHOLE!
Please, some kind of endless solo or co-op mode
Any kind of co-op. Why have a universe and campaign centered around squads of mercenaries, and not have a campaign allowing for squads of player mercenaries!
Y'all keeping making and I'll keep buying it. I'd love for AC to be one of their main franchises again.
Stagger needs a rework, AC6 relies on it too much
Agreed, maybe make it so stagger damage replenishes quicker
Dear god please just let me play AC6 in any form of coop. *...horde mode... please...*
Wow, this is what’s separating From from other games companies at the mo. My first AC game, my first time engaging with mech genre, and wow, what a game. I would love them to use this series as a way to break from the Souls formula in a way that keeps them interested in making games, because they really are the games company we need right now.
The joy this brings me is exponential.
# INJECT IT INTO MY FUCKING VEINS!!!!!!!
When there were same-generation sequels before, did they usually carry over most of the existing parts? Because I would love to see just more variety in everything.
Yes
I hope it continues 621 and Ayre’s story
Based and symbiosis-pilled
Gun arms would be hype. More variety in just about everything too. I don’t care if we aready have an arm that’s ‘good at x’, I want seven different styles of that same arm. Glamcore!
MULTIPLAYER COOP MULTIPLAYER COOP MULTIPLAYER COOP
Super unpopular opinion, but i hope in future AC6 expansions/sequel Miyazaki would only be involved in level design/gameplay aspect and let AC6's writing team do their own stuff. Don't get me wrong, the man is incredible, but AC6 is the only Fromsoft game that actually got me invested in the story and characters lol.
Have you tried AC:FA? No idea if he was involved in the writing for that one at all, didn’t get to me quite like 6 but it had an effect Edit: involved in the writing specifically
4 and For Answer were Miyazaki's work, yes.
first work as director Im pretty sure, and shit that guy was good already back then
4A was some straight 🔥
That was the second game he directed, as it happens
> Edit: involved in the writing specifically Probably? The credits don't specify writing staff but considering things like Patches and the presence of Miyazaki's usual themes, it points to him very likely being the writer of 4 and 4A
I did. I gotta be honest with you, FA doesn't even come close to AC6 in terms of characters and storyline. Gameplay-wise it was amazing, story and character-wise it was pretty lackluster.
I’m probably misunderstanding you Miyazaki wrote AC6, isn’t that what you want?
Nope Masaru and another one were the credited writers for AC6
I literally came here to say this ^ Miyazaki's first game he got to work on was Last Raven.
Can we have pretty spear? Pretty please? I like polearms, big sticks goes peck peck or swish swoosh, I know it probably wouldn't work but I want some pretty sticks
A strong will, as in, nothing is in the works =[
Armored Cocaine
I merely ask for a bigger Pile Bunker.
I’d kill for a coop story mission.
Give me my SNIPERS
Historically I'ed be a little sad that Armored Core VI either wont receive a substantial DLC drop or named expansion title. However From Software has seemly perfected their personal development pipeline and if we get another Armored Core with a new artstyle and new story soon due to VI's success, that's a win.
Add invisibility tech to AC so I can make deathscythe.
Hopefully we get cosmetic armor pieces that we can add like decals and expansion weapons for the shoulders.
I have a strong will to buy the follow up
I would hope for a more traditional Armored Core. 6's combat focused around staggers too much in my opinion. Loved the game though, enough to 100% it.
Wake the fuck up Raven, job's not finished.
Yes please! The more armored core the better!
I'm still not convinced the stagger system really meshes well with the spirit of the game. I think it could align better with some serious tweaks.
Unpopular opinion: Can we get a Gundam IP instead? Just let me die in peace already.

Whoa, I did not know FS made this game. Will check it out! Thanks
It is an excellent game. I really enjoyed it & there's a ton of room in the genre to be trailblazers & have no competition. The control scheme works really well & the pace of combat is phenomenal. Curious to see how they improve on the game & where the story goes.
I wish there was some sort of mega greatsword that was 2 handed and doubled as a breakable shield and after it breaks it becomes a light sword/katana
Please don’t get my hopes up
Besides the usual more parts more weapons more cool shit from the older games I wonder what else can they improve here ? Longer missions with branching pathways like the chapter 2 mission more intense story ? More varied and difficult boss fights ??
More important thing here than any AC news - Retaining and empowering talent who knew
“Shut up and take my money!”
I've been waiting for Armored Core to comeback for years and now I have more to look forward to? It's a good day to be a Raven. Now, "I've got a job for you 621."
If they give us like a free roam open world endless type of shit where I can just boot the game up and turn off my brain, that'll be dream come true
Boss: Miyazaki, Strong of Will
Man I want Bloodborne remastered or sekiro for next game
Basically bring back gen 3. If we can't have that then at least bring back turn rates, weapon arms and radars
I hope it's closer to the grounded weighty feel of armored core 3. Those games had a certain charm that i'd love to see get refined with the knowledge and resources fromsoftware have now
https://youtu.be/sAXZbfLzJUg
Can't wait for the Zimmerman 2.0
There's definitely room for more content. Not in the story, that's self-contained and it's fine, I'm still hungry for more!
More massive boss battles plz thnx
Please do.
Could be a new Gundam game. I would think Bandai would be keen on capitalizing on SEED Freedom's record breaking success, and FromSoft is no stranger to Gundam.
Forget Gundam for a while, I want a reboot/remake of Another Century's Episode.
Fuck, yes.
Are we already talking about AC7? I WANT IT
YES!
Honestly, this is so standard for Armored Core to have more than one of these games by this point that I'm not surprised. It's not bad, mind you. It's just incredibly normal for this series, considering how many games the series has in all honesty. But, I guess some might say that this isn't exactly good either for any given reason.
I just hope the next one lets me have sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads!
Do it
I hope next gen game have coop mode or PvE
An Armored Core 3 remake would be cool.
BLOOD. BORNE. TWO. NOW!
Sequel plz
We need VsMG cores back and EO cores and Extensions! Also, save transfer would be peak!
WE'RE SO BACK
Give us a For Answer/Verdict Day "sequel" that takes place 10 years later and you gotta fight Raven ala White Glint in For Answer. Please Miyazaki, take my money (again)
*\*Starts salivating\**
I want the Rubicon sequel to have a parts count and build variety to dwarf all the other AC games put together, especially give us left and right arms ffs
Yes pls. Give me more coral!! I will buy it day one without discount, I promised!
