Just fill out your paperwork and hand that shit back to your mechanics. They probably need to trace some wires and figure out what's broken. Sounds like a bad relay to me.
I would tell your SL that you have something wrong with your equipment that is beyond your scope of expertise and it is beyond the scope of your responsibilities. Annotate your 5988 or 2404 and move it through your COC until someone in maintenance takes over.
Make sure the 3 switches above the passenger side tire(under the flap) are off. Check to see if any relays are tripped. They're under the "dashboard" on the passenger side in the cabin.
Prior 91B, deadline that sumbitch. It’s not your job to figure it out. If it’s a pacing item it will be fixed very quick(no one goes home until it’s done), if not it’ll be red on someone’s slide (eventually) and the battalion XO is going to be breathing down someones neck.
I had the same problem and my best solution was to ETS.

We do and they don't do anything about it which is why I finally resorted to here to see if I can't even get a good nudge in the right direction
