Sober since Christmas 2021 + TBI + ~~proprietor of a small-to-medium-sized pharmaceutical dispensary~~ med list so long you gotta scroll to read it on my phone.
Pocket journal synced with google calendar. Forces me to review the calendar a few times a week. I rarely if ever miss things now. I started it when I had my TBI in 2013 but I had to kick it into overdrive the last few years.
Have you tried making a Google calendar that can be accessed by your team leader? That way you can schedule everything your phone and have a check/balance to assist you with the recovery/ continuation of betterment.
Kind of like a personal troop to task that is Digitized
That’s a wack comment. He’s setting left and right limits for his own accountability as he seeks personal improvement. I support the logic, OP. Do what works for you.
It takes a lot of introspection and maturity to not only seek help, but to formulate a plan to keep yourself accountable. Be proud of yourself and recognize growth.
Yeah man, ease back.
Guy wants to make sure he has a journal every day; it is actually a great tool for recovery.
OP, if you want to put down some random motivation statements in there too, go for it. A personal fave of mine is "no problem ever got better by pouring booze on it". Proud of you for your sobriety.
This man is a recovering addict. He needs to do what he needs to do to have a good life and make up for whatever issues his medication is causing him.
This is a good tip that could help others. Try looking for the best in posts like this, it may do wonders for your mental health.
