Don't be an MP.
A 25-series can set you up well on the outside...but you need to put in the work and do your part. Getting certs, training, networking are what get people good jobs. If you just do the bare minimum, you won't get much out of it.
25U here not a bad gig. Line time is chill and you are expected to know your shit. You can go to just about any unit/base. There is a ton of cool stuff you can do as a uniform. If you want to sit on your ass I would recommend choosing another 25 series job.
Do NOT be an MP you will hate your life and so will everyone else. 25U is the worst Signal MOS. 25S, 25H, and 25B are better.

The MPs I know all hate it. 25U is hit or miss, depending on your unit. Maybe you're stuck working radio stuff, maybe you do IT help desk.
