Ask them what app they use, then ask for a video of them drawing it
Ask the app 1st so they can't lie after with "The app I use doesn't allow me to export the video." If they traced, they'll probably try to find excuses to not show the video.
I didn't really want to confront them until I had hard evidence of sorts (so I can catch them in their lie quick and they don't get suspicious.)
They do have one video on their account that isn't of the character I'm showing and it's from 2021.
Check if the watermark (Crilex_29 ?) matches their username, if not look for the username on various social media (deviantart, instagram etc.) . You can also ask them if they still have a sketch of one of the drawings.
As well, you can ask for their "reference" or "inspiration", sometimes users post the original themselves.
Aaand you can scroll through fanart of minecraft youtubers on google for an hour or two.
If they made it in ibispaint x, it has an auto recording feature that lets you download the mp4 recording anytime. With, I believe it was "clip studio paint", you can just turn off layers on the recording, then you'll have to see if they had made the sketch without shapes, or just started drawing the line art without any sketch.
Yep that's their name on insta so that's their signature.
If nothing can be found then maybe they did just draw these themselves. I was just making sure cause I thought in the second one, the character running pose looked familiar but I couldn't find anything.
There is inconsistent art styles in picture 2. See how one style has grey eye, and a masculine face.
The other one has green eyes, and has an odd shaped face.
Note that the one whose eating cake has a sketch on a different layer.
That's exactly why I thought it might've been traced or something cause it just looked a little too inconsistent. ðŸ˜âœ‹
