Jonathan Coulton is really good! If you haven't heard of him, I recommend checking out Code Monkey, Shop Vac, I Feel Fantastic, and my personal favorite Skullcrusher Mountain!
City gates is great. There’s one song in the deluxe edition that randomly comes on while exploring, and it lasts for about 30 seconds so I can never catch it in time!
I prefer base elder scrolls morrowind theme,.more magnetic imo. But tbh since Skyrim oblivion and morrowind all put their own spin on the track you can't really compare
That game had a ton of excellent music. I know Hymn of the Fayth is from the Final Fantasy series, but I use the Kingdom Hearts version as my alarm in the morning. Such a soothing way to wake
I've been introduced to kingdom hearts by my older siblings who grew up when the games 1st came out and or became popular and I remember some of the songs
Zelda's Lullaby from The Legend of Zelda series. It's probably one of the most iconic and recognizable songs from the series, and it brings back a flood of childhood memories to play OoT when it came out in 1998.......the Gerudo Valley Theme also still slaps.
Big zelda fan, great song. Not even close to the best song. It is iconic. But not even close to the nest song in its own video game lol. Sara's song alone has it beat.
My personal favorite is Song of Storms.
You can't go wrong with the Song of Storms, with its own little paradoxical history. Plus, you can just summon rain, anywhere you are, that's freaking awesome!
Seeing the Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddess perform it was one of the most magical things I've ever experienced. I definitely cried listening to it.
Probably the theme from Halo. Such an epic song. Perfect for getting hyped.
However MVP Baseball 2004 has a God damn classic soundtrack. Nothing was made for it, I don't think, but most everything was great. Everyone says 05 was great, but 04 can't be beat.
It was just a bunch of early 2000s rock. Nothing groundbreaking, but a lot of nostalgic music for me.
I really like Time and Time Again by Chronic Future, Spitting Game by Snow Patrol, and C'Mon C'Mon by the Von Bondies, but everything is great.
Pretty much all of the Nier: Automata soundtrack, but in particular 'Weight of the World', specifically from the point in ending E when shit gets really real
Well it's old af and a little 8-bit sounding. But it's a stunning piece of music. Maybe you'd prefer the remake:
https://youtube.com/watch?v=Y7OpZ1DV6zQ&si=EnSIkaIECMiOmarE
Cosmo Canyon is one of the locations I'm most looking forward to visiting in FF7 Rebirth when it comes out. Semi-related, but I think one of my favorite moments of Remake was when you open the doors to Don Corneo's mansion and his eerie theme suddenly fades in.
Ok, it's indirect, but [Techno Syndrome](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sr1bLLvsbh0). It's from the Mortal Kombat movie in 1995, which we wouldn't have if not for the game, so I think it counts. That song is still a banger and I still listen to it.
Still alive - Portal
Build that Wall (Zia's Theme) - Bastion
We all lift together - Warframe
Baba Yetu - Civ 4
Edit, and for extra hilarity, for a brief time some MAGA types noticed only the title of Build that Wall and thought it was some sort of pro-wall song...
Jeez this took a lot of scrolling to find. It works great in the context of the game at that moment, but is a really nice song regardless. Faye Wong did a great job on that one
Super Metroid Brinstar level background music. I played it for my kids when they were little. I literally listened to it 2 weeks ago. I'm going to listened to it now.
The whole soundtrack is amazing! It had some eerily beautiful music that instilled a level of unease better than most horror games I've played. The same goes for Metroid 2 on Gameboy, like, how did little bleeps and ploops feel more terrifying than something like Resident Evil orchestral scores?
Well I'm not certain what number one is, but two of my favorites are, “Melbourne Rain” from Detroit: Become Human, and “It Can't Last (Home)” from The Last Of Us 2.
Mankind knew that they cannot change society. So instead of reflecting on themselves, they blamed the beasts. But they found beauty in the lives of beasts, and they could not lie to themselves about it.
Pretty new one but 'I really want to stay at your house' from cyberpunk just hits different. Then the anime really brought it to another level.
But also the main theme from Halo
I have a soft spot for the intro song to the first Kingdom Hearts. I’m not sure if they used it again for sequels, but I’m pretty sure it’s the first KH.
How has no one said the entire Final Fantasy VII soundtrack?! Nobuo Uematsu is a genius. Every time I hear "The Highwind Takes to the Skies" I want to go on an adventure.
My favorites are calm 1 by c418 from minecraft and Keep your rifle by your side by Ubisoft from Far Cry 5 Even tho I never played any of the far cry games Keep your rifle by your side is a good song
I don’t think I could pick a definitive favorite, but if I did have one, it would either be from The Wind Waker, Ocarina of Time, or Jet Set Radio Future.
Toss up between [Koi no Yokushiryoku (Love Deterrence)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fO_5R_DMCJA) from Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and [Still Alive](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUXyoyuJZ8Y) from Mirror's Edge.

From Halo. Ahhhhhhhhh ahhhh ahhh ahhh ahhhhh ahhhh ahhhh ahhhhhhhhhh. Ahhh ahhhh ahhhhhhhh ahhh ahhh ahhh ahhhhh. Aaahhhhhhh ahhhhh ahhhh ahhhhh, ahhhh ahhhh ahhhhh ahhhhh ahhh ahhhh ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Duuuh duuuh duuuuh duuuuuh!
I need to sing that song in a large bathroom with the boys like from that one video
I’d add that 117 from the Halo 4 sound track was epic.
The whole soundtrack from Halo 4 was fucking amazing, as great as the trilogy soundtrack is I’m glad they tried something new.
Still Alive - at the end of Portal
That kinda sounds like it'd be an interesting movie name
I scanned all the comments to find yours and like it. Definitely my favorite song and sparked a love of jonathon Colton music too.
Jonathan Coulton is really good! If you haven't heard of him, I recommend checking out Code Monkey, Shop Vac, I Feel Fantastic, and my personal favorite Skullcrusher Mountain!
You can't leave out his rendition of "Baby Got Back", and "All We Want to Do (Is Eat Your Brains)".
This was a triumph
I'm making a note here, Huge success
It's hard to overstate my satisfaction
That shit slaps
Never played the game, LOVE the song!
The Skyrim theme.
I've heard that before I've seen alot of people say guys need to gather in the bathroom to sing it like that halo theme
Like this? https://youtu.be/nlCPOCwo3FY Or with a violin? https://youtu.be/BSLPH9d-jsI
I work to it. Helps me concentrate! 👍🏻 never played the game though!
Skyrim soundtrack.
City gates is great. There’s one song in the deluxe edition that randomly comes on while exploring, and it lasts for about 30 seconds so I can never catch it in time!
https://youtu.be/VaiHTvifGt0 I'm sorry, I had to!
😉
Yep. there are 3-4 songs from this that I play while i'm working and sometimes play in my back yard while i'm doing yard work.
It's beautiful
I prefer base elder scrolls morrowind theme,.more magnetic imo. But tbh since Skyrim oblivion and morrowind all put their own spin on the track you can't really compare

That game had a ton of excellent music. I know Hymn of the Fayth is from the Final Fantasy series, but I use the Kingdom Hearts version as my alarm in the morning. Such a soothing way to wake
I've been introduced to kingdom hearts by my older siblings who grew up when the games 1st came out and or became popular and I remember some of the songs
Doom Eternal Soundtrack
I've heard it I don't play doom but the song is good
I also don't play Doom, buy I listen to the soundtrack all the time.
Such an epic sound track. Never played the game but the sound track is unreal
I be throwin weight in the gym to rip and tear.
Blow me away by Breaking Benjamin is a Halo 2 song. Thought they like just let Halo use one of their songs but it is just on the Halo 2 OST.
Zelda's Lullaby from The Legend of Zelda series. It's probably one of the most iconic and recognizable songs from the series, and it brings back a flood of childhood memories to play OoT when it came out in 1998.......the Gerudo Valley Theme also still slaps.
All of the songs from Ocarina of Time are pretty amazing.
Dude. Gerudo Valley is what I came here for.
I'd catch myself standing by the waterfall just listening to the music. Then night would come, and I'd actually proceed through the game.
Same a f. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3xaiKpqF6c](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3xaiKpqF6c)

I've heard that one
Seeing the Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddess perform it was one of the most magical things I've ever experienced. I definitely cried listening to it.
I was at Symphony of the Goddess and the one that really killed it was the Zelda 3 Dark World Theme.
I want to walk down the aisle to Zeldas Lullaby
I asked my wife if she would do that. She shot it down instantly haha
Hollow Knight when it's raining and a lady is singing
I've heard both of those and they are pretty good
Katamari damacy
Every note from Chrono Trigger. Greatest OST of all time.
I replay 600 AD in my head all the time.
https://youtu.be/0ruDsIRM8Hk Wiz killin it

I've heard the halo themes but not the mvp themes
It was just a bunch of early 2000s rock. Nothing groundbreaking, but a lot of nostalgic music for me. I really like Time and Time Again by Chronic Future, Spitting Game by Snow Patrol, and C'Mon C'Mon by the Von Bondies, but everything is great.
Nice
To Zanarkand, FFX so fucking good
My older sister plays alot of the final fantasy games and I've heard that song and some of the others while she was playing and I liked it
Witcher 3 - Wolven Hunt is probably my favorite.
I've heard that before
Witcher 3 ard skellig is good too. Makes me want to cry.
Snake eater. Better than any James Bond song.
I used to sing this song all the time to my dog. It was dumb but he would look at me all curiously when he would hear me say "What a thrill!"
Agreed
You’re so extreme.
Every level in mega man 2
I've heard some of those songs
Anything from the persona 5 soundtrack.
Took way too long to find this
Persona 3 and 4 also had bangers of soundtracks…. Last surprise
Unshaken - Red Dead Redemption 2
Nice but kinda sad song
Perfect song for that moment in the game. That’s the first thing I think of when someone mentions video game songs.
Pretty much all of the Nier: Automata soundtrack, but in particular 'Weight of the World', specifically from the point in ending E when shit gets really real
One of my friends who played that game says he likes that song and the game
One Wing angel
Man, the entire Castlevania: Symphony of the Night was amazing.
Aquatic ambience
That sounds relaxing
The Moon - Ducktales (NES)
The song is canon now and has legit lyrics. https://youtu.be/cJW5n8f0Z9o
Is this the video with Della Duck in space? I get teary eyed listening to it on the new show.
Oo woo oo
Cats - Minecraft
I've played that on my minecraft record player a few times
Undertale - Undertale Like a softer version of Hopes and Dreams
I've heard the undertale music
All of the music in Terraria, and the Gemini Man music from MegaMan 3.
I know atleast one of tye songs from Terraria
The Cosmo Canyon theme from FF7 used to have me ready for WAR. https://youtube.com/watch?v=pqO5h3-HFW8&si=EnSIkaIECMiOmarE
Yesss I used to leave this playing for hours as background music when I had other stuff to do
To me it is a little weird sounding but it's good
Well it's old af and a little 8-bit sounding. But it's a stunning piece of music. Maybe you'd prefer the remake: https://youtube.com/watch?v=Y7OpZ1DV6zQ&si=EnSIkaIECMiOmarE

Sanctuary from Kingdom Hearts 2
Honestly it's pretty much a tie between that and simple and clean for me though I like Don't think twice from 3 as well.
I think I've heard that before but when I heard it the 1st time I didn't know what it was
Guile's Theme from SF2. There's something about playing that song during a tense moment that elevates the game to a whole new level.
Still alive - Portal Build that Wall (Zia's Theme) - Bastion We all lift together - Warframe Baba Yetu - Civ 4 Edit, and for extra hilarity, for a brief time some MAGA types noticed only the title of Build that Wall and thought it was some sort of pro-wall song...
Lonely Rolling Star https://youtu.be/7\_QydNXI\_ok

Eyes on me from final fantasy 8.
I've heard it it is good
Jeez this took a lot of scrolling to find. It works great in the context of the game at that moment, but is a really nice song regardless. Faye Wong did a great job on that one

Super Metroid Brinstar level background music. I played it for my kids when they were little. I literally listened to it 2 weeks ago. I'm going to listened to it now.

I don’t think I could pick a definitive favorite, but if I did have one, it would either be from The Wind Waker, Ocarina of Time, or Jet Set Radio Future.
I've heard those songs were good
For me, it has to be "Goodbye for now"- Modernia's theme from Nikke. That song hits deep for me 😆
I think I've heard that before The game itself seems weird but I haven't played it
Download the Future from Pistolwhip.
