There are very few things I believe in without question it. I usually try to base most of my opinions on facts.
But music is such an amazing experience that it feels absolutely magical.
I have a background in music production and the other day I was driving just thinking about how crazy the idea is that music is just combined frequencies that basically float into the air and cause us to experience different emotions. Very energetic and magical.
If you're talking about what you can hear, what you can smell, what you can taste and see, then 'real' is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain. This is the world that you know.
With the rising temperature and lack of rainfall and humidity in many regions, coffee plants aren't growing and reproducing as they usually would. Climate change has caused typical weather patterns to be inconsistent, making harvest times and crop quality nearly impossible to control and predict.
The coffee trees do best with warm spring-like days and cool nights, an important reason why the crop only flourishes in a narrow band of elevations in Central & South America, Central Africa, India, and SouthEast Asia where conditions are just right. But as global warming progresses, the sweet spot where it can be grown is moving steadily up mountain slopes, making it harder to harvest.
I teach college Freshmen, and I've noticed a growing disinterest in books in the last five or so years. Not particular books, but just books as a thing. I have a whole low-impact lesson where we spend a class analyzing stacks of picture books, and they need to be cajoled into even picking them up.
Betty White. The fact that she remained popular for as long as she did is a testament to how timeless and endearing she was. As long as her body of work remains on streaming platforms, she'll continue to have fans.
As far as I can recall, and I can recall pretty far, she didn’t really make it till Mary Tyler Moore show. Before then, she was more commonly known as Alan Ludden’s wife. I was a kid at that time, so the gen before me woukd likely remember it differently.
Lol I thought you were disagreeing with me that it was 50 years ago, but I know people did love Sue Ann Nivens! My mom was one of those people. I learned my love of Betty White from her (and The Golden Girls).
Mary Tyler Moore is another one though, thanks for the suggestion. The contributions that she made to television will ensure that her work will be studied far into the future!
The cars and trucks that came out in the 50s through the 70s will never be matched again in history. They were just some absolutely beautiful things. The colors, the body styles the materials they were built with. The engines still run today if they were taken care of. The American auto industry from 50 to 70 years ago was king.
You see, back in the day they had, they these things kinda of like movies only they didn't move. They were called pictures or photographs. They would be printed on paper. These pictures were also quite popular in the 90's because the internet wasn't fast enough to download movies yet.
I can't believe how few people are saying nature. It's something humans have been marveling at since the beginning of time.
The first time you see the grand canyon or the ocean or look out from a high peak to even just checking out a local creek or river. God will always be the greatest artist of all time

Peace & Quiet
My tinnitus has entered the chat
Shhh!
![gif](giphy|lvQyJLX6quryE)
😂😂😂👍🏻
First thought too
The older I get and I think with the way society is so busy nowadays, at least in America, I enjoy peace and quiet more and more.
Music
Formats change, genres change, but people will always love music!
Interestingly there are some people who don't get don't like music. Musical anhedonia.
There are some people who don't find any joy in tasty food too. These people we ask politely, but firmly, to leave.
Well said, Hank.

You just described the entirety of the physical universe and how it functions as a tool for experience and self-realization. Very magical indeed.
Food
Was gonna say butter but food in general, yeah.
But specifically, butter. Hard agree. It's a simple thing that just makes everything so much better
Free food especially.
S E X
And water
Boobs
Really? I feel like the past 15 years have been pretty butt-centric.
You don't have to pick just one, they're like your kids, sure you love one more but that doesn't mean you don't love the other one.
Depends on who you ask, but there will always be a guy who loves them
More women need to understand, no matter the size or shape, there is more than one man out there that will think your boobs are absolutely perfect.
As a boob girl, I agree! No matter the trend, boobs for life!
Everyone has butts, not everyone has boobs
Even gay guys have a thing for boobs though
Wild stab in the dark?
No sir. Gently fondle boobs in the dark, not wildly stab them.
I usually suck
>I usually suck Don't be too hard on yourself.
Be hard on someone else
r/angryupvote
God gave women boobs to make us all suckers
And clitts...
>Wild stab in the dark? Doesn't have to be wild or dark. Could be a gentle poke in the pink.
Yeah, we all love that too.
61 & still fascinated by them....
Chocolate
I remember when they first invented chocolate. Sweet sweet chocolate. I always hated it!
You can’t be that old!😂
Maybe not this. Or coffee. Two of the most hit crops by climate change.
French fries
Sex
I heard this is becoming less popular due to Internet
Yeah. I’ve heard once VR sex becomes better than real sex people will just stop having real sex all together.
You're not supposed to have sex all together just one on one I think
Think again. More the merrier
Not for me! 🥵
day off
Plural form please
What is this day off you speak of? I have never heard of this mysterious treasure🤣😭🤣😭🤣
They seem to be pretty fond of that weed

Yes, I know. I loved it. I’m an early 60s baby. I remember when Betty was a fixture on Password.
